Black Ops 2’s MP reveal was a week earlier.. Just saying.. 😉

    • David Sync

Yah but all we saw from that was shock dildos, target finders, and quick scoping 😛 and a lil bit of other features

      • Mos

        Well… it was something 😛

      • NiftyGam3r

Those were all new things(except QS) lol did you want them to reveal everything?

        • David Sync

Maybe maps that would actually be cool, but instead we got turbine, cargo, aftermath, and Yemen

          • Fozzie Bear

What’s wrong with Yemen and Cargo?

          • David Sync

They aren’t really what I was imagining,Yemen is good for it’s flank routes but I feel like treyarh could have done a lot better

          • ben wills

Well Cargo and Standoff are the only 2 half decent maps in the game (now Encore and the BO1 remakes as well). Yemen is just another small, close quarters clusterfuck.

          • DanDustEmOff

What’s your problem with CQB’s. You sound like a camper to me.

          • ben wills

Lol. I’m the most run and gunner you’ll ever meet. It’s like my avatar has parkinsons.

I don’t mind close quarters when its done right, or when its mixed in with every game mode. Take WMD. Medium sized map — long, medium, short sightlines, all fight styles viable in a game that is very skill based. My primary issue with this game is that every single bloody engagement is close quarters. All you do is run around with an SMG and spray. There’s no skill, no thought. Just whoever sees the other person first wins. The small maps don’t provide enough strategy to effectively do something. No matter what you do you’ll just get killed immediately because its too fast. I like being in a fight and feeling like I won/lost. I don’t feel accomplishment from getting a free kill or getting a stupid death. Now, it can be done right, and it can be done well for a CHANGE OF PACE. But the last two CoD’s have had it so that its the only thing in the game, and its mostly not done right either. Firing Range is a great map for a change of pace, but I really don’t want every map being Raid.

          • DanDustEmOff

“I’m the most run and gunner you’ll ever meet. It’s like my avatar has parkinsons.”, I have never known a person with parkinsons do much running ang gunning. I disagree with your assesment that all engagements are CQB smart use of the map will allow you to control engagements to suit your weapon on most maps. Those that do not you have to allow that map to dictate your play style.

Killstreaks are rewards for getting kills I always roll with a 3 KS set up that requires minimum interaction. This allows me to stay on the ground racking up kills whilst KS’s assist me. You say you run and gun but then complain about the SMG’s which have all been awful since the repeated nerfs. If you are running and gunning without a SMG or shotgun then you will probably have a bad time.

I agree with you on the net code 100% and this is the one thing that I do want to change. Dedicated servers are the only thing that is gonna get me to buy the next CoD or any future CoD title.

Everyone talks about cod needs to improve, yet everbody can’t stop mentioning how good the old cod’s were compared to the new ones, I think the majority just want an old fashioned fun new cod mp like in the old days

        • smayo

My comment was at someone else’s reply, don’t know why it ended up under yours…

    • Smith N Wesson

If so many people hadn’t pre-ordered, then they would have been more willing to share more details sooner, in order to keep the interest of their consumers. But since call of duty ghost is the leading in pre-orders, there is no need for them to reveal anything else.

      • Smith N Wesson

        Maybe

  • yourMOTHERissecretlyanALIEN

the mp has to been god damn good! I hope the new features and dynamic maps are something nice and not something stupid

  • Kevboy22

There’s probably not much to reveal. I bet it will be the same multiplayer.

  • MeisseN

    Low expectations with High hopes…

    • Alex | FamousIsLIVE

Maybe that was their goal all along. Make MW3 and Black Ops 2 mediocre to lower our expectations. Then Ghosts will be the best COD we have ever seen. :O

      • Smith N Wesson

I thought I was the only one who knew that but, wow what a treacherous marketing strategy.

      • iPLAY 2 ANNOY U

or it’s still just all about money and they know (judging by BO2) that people will buy anything, even if it has tons of problems.

        • Alex | FamousIsLIVE

True. Why buy dedicated servers if people will buy the game without them

      • Mos

I like black ops 2, i think it changed a lot, but people don’t want to recognise this until next year, as usual 😛

        • Alex | FamousIsLIVE

I hated Black Ops 2 until I got into competitive. I think that game is made for the competitive side of COD.

          • ben wills

LOL. BO2 is the most catered to casuals game ever. No skill what so ever involved in that game. BO1 is the last skill based CoD. Now it’s just fast paced closed quarters so anyone can do good and anyone can get a kill. It’s a terrible, terrible game.

          • MeisseN

Well on PC it does require a certain level of skill…

          • ben wills

            I play on PC primarily.

          • MeisseN

            What……… ok

          • DanDustEmOff

Playing CoD requires as much skill as any other FPS. You say it requires no skill what so ever, so you must be able to drop into a Ground War lobby, lone wolfing it and smash out a 100 + kill game everytime huh?

What you mean is the last game you had any skill in was Blops1 and you are a terrible, terrible player.

          • ben wills

No. BO2 you run around a corner with an SMG and spray. And my KD is quite good is BO2 and MW3.

In BO2 an MW3 you do not earn your kills. It’s designed so that a casual player can walk in and go positive half their games and negative the other half. Look at MW3. If you’re doing terrible, it will spawn you behind an enemy and give you a free kill. If you’re doing really good, and enemy will spawn behind you and give you a free kill. That isn’t skill based. You aren’t earning your kill. Hunter Killer Drones and Martyrdom isn’t having skill. Although a lot of killstreaks in the other games as well give you free kills, you at least had to operate them and control them. BO2 you just get a free kill from throwing a drown. Not fun. Not skilled.

Also take into account how fast these two games are. You often die before you see your enemy due to the net code, have zero reaction time, and from pretty well every angle because of how the maps designed and how small they are. So you just run around with your akimbos and kill someone before you see them. Great game design there, really skill based. Or grab your MSMC and run around a couple corners, kill your enemies before they can shoot because they never saw you. Then have it happen to you. It is not skill based. It gives everyone a chance to be a “great” player without having skill.

You are really the “terrible, terrible player”, who knows nothing about the game and likes being handed free kills.

          • Mos

Dude I have a worse k/d in mw3 than any other game, and my bo2 is 0.8 which is the same for me as bo1. The skill level hasn’t changed, at least for me 😛

  • NiftyGam3r

Sigh… Dejavu we all talk trash about the upcoming title how it will suck and how cod has been getting worst, then we see some gameplay and half of us turn like cod cheerleaders

  • smayo

hope this game turns out to be fun again like the cod’s before mw3,

    • MeisseN

Well … If you play without brain, MW3 could be ultra fun. Like picking up some akimbo Fucking Machine Gun-9… You can’t be too serious about this series right now

      • DanDustEmOff

Hey I liked MW3. I would much rather play MW3 than Blops2. At least when you shoot people they die.

        • MeisseN

I share your feelings… I have better stats in MW3 than in BO2 because of the lag in the latter game

          • DanDustEmOff

I have better stats in Blops2. However for most of MW3 I was playing on a big TV with tons of input lag. I now use a 23 inch monitor and have a much better experience.

  • Siftblade of Rivia

I know how the multiplayers going to play out, I just wanna see the maps and guns, maybe some new perks or features. I won’t buy this game, but I’m curious to see if they’ll try to improve.

    • Keshav Bhat

According to Candice Capen, someone asked her “is pretty much like the other cods so y be excited only thing change r the guns and maps” and she responded “you’ll see =)’. So lets wait before you say it’s the same.

      • Siftblade of Rivia

Yeah, I suppose. If it’s really that improved, I might buy it.

  • iPLAY 2 ANNOY U

YAY i can’t wait to see glorified half a second video clips that hardly show anything but secretly show a bunch of new additions that just make the game more terrible!!!

this game may be my last call of duty. they get worse in quality and more nerfed every year… you can tell the games are rushed into finishing now and always come with a bunch of things that need to be fixed from the start. so unprofessional. hey Activision… hire me as a tester and i will find everything wrong with it before you embarrass yourselves. Otherwise, your loss.

    • MeisseN

Typical “last COD” comment. See you next year around this time of year with an updated version for Black Ops III or whatever Treyarch offers.

      Zzz.

    • Keshav Bhat

They have plenty of QA Testers at the studios who do great work on the games. If you can’t appreciate a video game for what it is, I can’t tell you what to do. Every year, the bring new features, and new things to keep the community changing. If you think Black Ops II was worse than MW3, you really don’t understand changes. Black Ops II improved in so many ways from previous titles.

      • DanDustEmOff

With the exception of net code and match making, Treyarch did a good job on Blops2. It’s just a shame that these two key features have undone all their hard work.

      • iPLAY 2 ANNOY U

i was highly disappointed to find myself without PRO versions of perks… and the missing slight of hand perk… ghost perk was rendered useless cause nobody is constantly moving…enough can be said about the perks…on the other hand, you couldnt take over control of sentries or other scorestreaks when hacked, they just explode…all of the walls are paper thin in black ops 2…this also being the aim assist follows enemies through walls…quickscoping turned so easy a 5 year old can do it….people dashboard and terminate games constantly since the beginning of the game release…they removed a ton of customization…such fully custom reticles, colors, and lense color….also removed face paint and face tattoos….WHY!?!?! don’t need to go on…do i??? but its stuff like this that makes the game garbage (for me, IMHO) they seem to be constantly stepping backwards.
