Activision and Treyarch have officially announced the fourth and final DLC pack for Black Ops 2 called Apocalypse. This pack will be available August 27th on Xbox 360 for 1200 MSP or free as part of the Season Pass.

“Apocalypse is Treyarch’s grand finale to Call of Duty: Black Ops II,” said Treyarch Studio Head, Mark Lamia. “It is the perfect culmination of our efforts, and fan feedback, with two all-new multiplayer maps for players to experience for the first time, and two fully reimagined fan-favorite multiplayer maps from past games – and Origins, our most epic Zombies experience to date. Apocalypse is a DLC pack that our fans will never forget.”

Multiplayer Maps:

  • Pod: A failed utopian community from the 70’s has left stacks of dilapidated residential pods nestled into an abandoned cliff side in Taiwan. Its residents long gone, the modernist compound now hosts frenetic combat as players must run atop the pods, as well as navigate their multi-tiered interiors for a strategic edge.
  • Frost: Fresh snow meets explosive gunpowder in this snow-capped European city, where the bridge over a frozen canal separates it into two sides, requiring players to employ multi-level traversal strategies to outsmart and ultimately outshoot their enemies.
  • Takeoff: Fans of Stadium from the original Call of Duty: Black Ops First Strike DLC will find themselves at home on Takeoff. Marooned in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, this remote launch site is all about close-quarters combat, combining tight corners with open spaces for intense encounters.
  • Dig: An adaptation of the fan-favorite Courtyard from Call of Duty: World at War, where two archeological dig sites in Afghanistan become the perfect playground for combatants eager for hectic, unceasing confrontations. Treyarch, has retained the spirit of Courtyard with two major chokepoints, a wide open layout and raised platforms, but has provided fans with a fresh take on the multitude of paths.

Zombies Map:

  • Origins: a new adventure which takes place in “a Dieselpunk-themed First World War” and stars the original Zombies heroes. Unleashed after the Germans unearthed the mysterious “Element 115,” this next chapter in the Zombies legacy will explore the saga’s origins as players reunite with an unlikely band of soldiers that come together to defeat the greatest evil the world has ever seen, using a period-specific arsenal that includes Wonder Weapons that harness supernatural powers, a diesel-drone and Mark IV tank, as well a new perk machine and power-ups – and that’s just the start. Players will need all the help they can get to succeed in defeating the undead, as well as evading an unprecedented 1,000-foot tall robot abomination. In this stylized undead adventure, they’ll need every advantage if they have any hope of surviving one of Treyarch’s deepest Zombies experiences to date.

A new song called ‘Shepherd of Fire” by Avenged Sevenfold will be played at the opening sequences of the new map.

Call of Duty: Black Ops II Apocalypse delivers four diverse multiplayer maps:

  • Pod: A failed utopian community from the 70’s has left stacks of dilapidated residential pods nestled into an abandoned cliff side in Taiwan. Its residents long gone, the modernist compound now hosts frenetic combat as players must run atop the pods, as well as navigate their multi-tiered interiors for a strategic edge.

Treyarch, has retained the spirit of “Courtyard” with two major chokepoints, a wide open layout and raised platforms, but has provided fans with a fresh take on the multitude of paths.

In addition to the four maps, Apocalypse also reveals Origins, the most horrifying and imaginative Zombies experience to date. Players will be deployed to Dieselpunk-stylized World War I-era France where they will encounter the return of the four original heroes from the very first Zombies map, Tank, Nikolai, Takeo, and Rictofen, as well as hordes of zombies that have overrun trenches and fields, as well as the ruins of a mysterious and ancient location.

Call of Duty: Black Ops II Apocalypse will be available first, exclusively on Xbox Live for the Xbox 360® games and entertainment system from Microsoft for 1200 Microsoft Points on August 27, with other platforms to follow. Players who have already purchased the Season Pass can download Apocalypse as soon as it becomes available.

    O DAMN !! 4 Multi player maps though !?

whatever, I’ll take the new origins map

  • Joshwoocool

    weak

  • TeqqVenom

Does anyone give a fuck about multiplayer anymore? why the FUCK is this a multiplayer pack?! FUCK YOU TREYARCH

    • Mitch

Yeah, I just checked. There wasn’t even 30k on Zombies, and there was almost 400k on MP, so yes, people still care about MP (I checked on PS3).

      • rabjam

thnks mitch for clearing my point.. as for adri go play ur stupid zombies then cry in the corner u little 5 year old

        • TeqqVenom

The only 5 year olds that play this game play multiplayer, and the only people that play the multiplayer are 10 and under

        • Zombies aren’t stupid, but these Fucknards crying about about how there’s only 1 Zombies map are spoiled rotten

          • TeqqVenom

So are you, crying about the sniper nerf, silly optic fanboy lolol

          • Mitch

            He isn’t…

          • How many times do I have to explain this…I love Optic Hecz, Nadeshot, Scumpi, Scumbag BigTymer, Merk, Fwiz, J, Diesel, and Predator (not for his sniping more or less his mlg support) I have and always will hate snipers and quick scopers.

      • TeqqVenom

10 year olds and snipers, and your numbers are wayyy wrong, dont just make up random numbers you fucking asshat. There is 88,000 on multiplayer and 70,000 on zombies. TAKE THAT LIAR

        • Mitch

I just checked myself, you are the liar.

          • TeqqVenom

No you didnt, there arent even 400k people that have pre ordered ghosts, you are such a big liar its not even funny

          • Mitch

So because not even 400k people have pre-ordered Ghosts, it’s impossible to have almost 400k people online on BO2? Yeah, that’s some shit logic.

          • TeqqVenom

yeah, because BO2 has been VOTED the worst COD of all time.

          • Mitch

Yeah sure, because you can vote what’s the worst CoD?

          • TeqqVenom

…yes? look it up lol, this is the least popular COD of all time. Bo1 was about 400k on multiplayer and 50k zombies, bo2 is 88k multiplayer 70k zombies…you dont see anything wrong with that? LOL

          • Mitch

Dude, you should count the number of players, not the number of brain cells you just killed…

          • TeqqVenom

Im not the one that doesnt even look on the game you fucking idiot. No one likes multiplayer except the 5 year old fanboys like you

          • Mitch

Sorry I’m 16, probably a minimum of 6 years older than you. And I just checked for myself. Also, you really should join the keyboard army.

          • James K

I don’t know what time or day you count the population but I was paying BO2 from 8pm-1am yesterday. Never did it dip below 200k during my play session.

BO2’s average population is similar if not slightly greater than BO average population.

Also, BO2 has been voted the worst COD of all time? By who? THUNDER?

          • MrJDGuns

            by who? YOU?

          • Jordan O

I’m sorry, but what does having Ghosts pre-ordered have anything to do with the amount of players on Black Ops 2? I don’t have Ghosts pre-ordered but I still play Black Ops 2.

  • Mr. Adri360

    ¡Fuck you, Treyarch!

  • Mitch

Thanks god I haven’t payed for maps I already own. If I want to play old maps, I’ll play Black Ops. Also I’m still hoping for a trailer soon.

    • Nitro Splicer

Takeoff and Dig are remakes. So technically you ARE paying for maps you already own. Not to mention Studio and Uplink.

      • Mitch

Sorry, don’t own WaW. And yes, they are re-making Stadium, but they are giving it a complete new look, not a straight copy like they would have done with the BO zombie maps.

        • Nitro Splicer

They could’ve remastered those maps like they did with the WaW ones. Put in BO2 weapons. They might’ve even been able to work in a buildable or two.

          • Mitch

Yeah and then you would cry because they aren’t the ‘old’ maps, and the people who play zombies for the story would also cry. Don’t you see, there’s always some kid crying somewhere.

          • Nitro Splicer

I don’t even play multiplayer anymore. I would have been fine with it. I know my friends would be fine with it too.

          • Mitch

And the people who play for the story wouldn’t be. My point:
Zombie only DLC: Multiplayer community starts bitching because some of them bought the Season Pass and don’t get content at all with DLC 4:
Not zombie only DLC: Zombie community starts bitching because they want old maps back, which they can play by switching discs.

          • Nitro Splicer

Multiplayer community now has 16 new maps, including this DLC. Zombies community now has 4, not including Nuketown. Let the multiplayer community cry. It’s our turn.

          • StraightEdgeAtheist

I would have been fine with too.

In fact, I wanted them to add new stuff if they ever wanted to bring back the old z maps.

          • TeqqVenom

i told you no one likes multiplayer except little kids.

          • Mitch

Even if 100% of the MP is little kids, they still have the right to get MP DLC since a lot more people play MP than zombies.

          • TeqqVenom

the people that play multiplayer even hate it, they said it themselves: they hate the game but they cant stop playing it. Although the DLC multi maps have been good, it’s zomb ie’s turn to get a map pack. 16 maps for 88k and 4 maps for 70k? thats a weird ratio…

          • Mitch

A ratio you made up by putting your finger in your ass…

          • LAWLZ

          • But are is more attention fore the zombies and campaign

  • rabjam

Theres a reason multiplayer is 10 times more popular and more playable than zombies.. FEED ME MORE mp maps hahaha hahaha hahahaha screw zombies

    • Mr. Adri360

      Fuck you.

    • TeqqVenom

there are 88k on multiplayer and 70k on zombies you fucking moron, your numbers are wayyy off

      • Mitch

I just checked again on ps3:
        Multiplayer: 345203
        Zombies: 104072
Yeah, there’s a shit ton more on MP…

    • They have give more attention on zombies and campaign

  • Nitro Splicer

Goddammit. So they’re not bringing back old maps? Fuck.

  • StraightEdgeAtheist

    No zombies only DLC 🙁

  • I understand getting the message out fast, but I should be able to click that image and be given a high-res version. I currently can not.

    • Mitch

Uhm, it’s taken straight from the game…

      • Jean Blaguin

Why this logo so ? Some one else see that ?

        • GamerSam99

because vengeance is out and they want you to buy it

  • StraightEdgeAtheist

I’m not angry that this is not a zombies only DLC (However I wish it was) but on the bright side I get to play Courtyard again.

Black Ops II Apocalypse DLC due August 27; new A7X and Alex Ross content

by Dan on August 8, 2013

The fourth and final DLC pack for Call of Duty: Black Ops II,
dubbed Apocalypse, has a confirmed release date of August 27 on Xbox
    360. This DLC pack, like those before it, will contain four multiplayer
maps, two of which should feel familiar to long-time fans. Cutting and
    pasting the official level descriptions:

Pod: A failed utopian community from the 70’s has left stacks
of dilapidated residential pods nestled into an abandoned cliff side in
Taiwan. Its residents long gone, the modernist compound now hosts
frenetic combat as players must run atop the pods, as well as navigate
their multi-tiered interiors for a strategic edge.

Frost: Fresh snow meets explosive gunpowder in this
snow-capped European city, where the bridge over a frozen canal
separates it into two sides, requiring players to employ multi-level
traversal strategies to outsmart and ultimately outshoot their enemies.

    Takeoff: Fans of Stadium from
the original Call of Duty: Black Ops First Strike DLC will find
themselves at home on Takeoff. Marooned in the middle of the Pacific
Ocean, this remote launch site is all about close-quarters combat,
combining tight corners with open spaces for intense encounters.

Dig: An adaptation of the fan-favorite Courtyard from Call
of Duty: World at War, where two archeological dig sites in Afghanistan
become the perfect playground for combatants eager for hectic,
unceasing confrontations. Treyarch, has retained the spirit of
Courtyard with two major chokepoints, a wide open layout and raised
platforms, but has provided fans with a fresh take on the multitude of
    paths.

Zombies fans are in for something major as well: Origins, a new
adventure which takes place in “a Dieselpunk-themed First World War” and
stars the original Zombies heroes. Treyarch has been teasing this one
for a few days now, but they managed to keep two secrets until today:
longtime Zombies fans Avenged Sevenfold, who have supplied music for COD
games in the past, have contributed a new song, “Shepherd of Fire,” to
the opening cinema of Origins; that will be on their new album, Hail to
the King, as well. Also, one of my favorite comic artists, Alex Ross,
has created some original art for Origins as well. Here’s a little
    teaser trailer:

  • NiftyGam3r

Fugggg!! More mp maps?! Are you kidding me? And more dang remakes. I hope this is a troll! I want my zombies remake

    • They had this game back in 2010 called Black Ops 1 and in 08 called World at War. If you have a PC, get World at War and download Mods. Just saying….

      • NiftyGam3r

Who the hell is gonna go back buy 2 died out games and then spend $50 on dlc to play the zombies map? I wanted them remastered, dont suggest stupid stuff. *retard alert. Just saying…

        • So you’re a young gamer. That explains your ignorance

          • NiftyGam3r

Ignorance? Come on dude dont comment stupid shit saying to go buy old games, you wouldnt do that yourself

          • If you dont have Black Ops 1 then wtf are doing talking about zombies

          • NiftyGam3r

I had it, then sold it.

          • If you have a good PC. i suggest getting WAW. its around 15-20 bucks. probably less on steam or Ebay. then get the mods. Some of the maps on there are better than the actual ones

          • NiftyGam3r

I play console, and ive seen the mods, is not the same as bringing bo1 zombie maps back with bo2 feel and look.

          • TeqqVenom

You’re a young gamer, only a little squeaking fanboy would have a picture of the optic logo as their pic LOLOL

          • Im an OpTic MLG fan.

        • Nitro Splicer

He’s talking about custom zombies, you idiot.

          • NiftyGam3r

He also mentioned bo1 dumbass read before commenting. Who are you anyways his bi**h? Let him respond himself

          • Derpherp21

I laugh that your to much of a bitch to spell bitch

          • NiftyGam3r

You understood me right? So it doesnt matter bi**h

          • Nitro Splicer

Are you afraid to swear? Don’t be. It’s the internet. Watch:
            Bitch bitch bitch
            See? Easy.

          • NiftyGam3r

I dont like the how that word rolls of my tongue so when i add *** it gives me a sense of *bleep. Is just a habit of mine

          • SeaSaltSora

            *You’re. 😛

          • xB1ack0pp5x

Yh he may have been talking about custom zombies… but NiftyGam3r wasnt !

        • Josiah Johnson

Well the people that were fans of the series years ago don’t want to pay for the same stuff again, they just want new content!

          • NiftyGam3r

Lol thats funny considering this whole dlc run people have been getting reskinned maps for mp, and now with dlc 4, two more remakes of mp maps -_-

        • Joshwoocool

waw pc dlc is free.Just saying

          • Siftblade of Rivia

No, WAW custom zombies are free. DLC are not.

          • Joshwoocool

dude The DLC is free with Patches on The computer.I own a steam and a disc copy.

          • Siftblade of Rivia

Okay, well I don’t play PC so I WOULDN’T KNOW.

          • Joshwoocool

Also Just to make sure you know I said “ON THE PC”

          • NiftyGam3r

Still gotta pay for the game tho

          • zomboyboy

            really?
            sweet

        • ben wills

DLC is free on PC WaW you numbnut. AND custom zombies maps where are all better than Tranzit.

          • NiftyGam3r

Dont comment just to comment your perspective, i said 4 comments ago that i dont have PC i play console -___-

      • Siftblade of Rivia

Yeah, I’d spend like $70 for both WAW and BO1, plus $40 for WAW DLC and $50 for BO1 DLC. In total that’s $160 for all the maps, where I could’ve got it for $15 if they remade it. I already have all of the maps, I’m saying that if I didn’t and I wanted them, this is what I’d have to do.

  • Am I the only one who remembers the map Treyarch showed at CODXP back in 2011? It was called “War Museum” and it was a completely redone version of my favorite map in World at War “Castle”

  • Guest

Really they’re only giving us two new multiplayer maps. Bullshit.

  • Mitch

I heard the box in Origins has a shit ton of WW1 weapons in it.

  • DeathBringer935l

FEAE TEDDS? And wtf treyarch Iwant all zombies why the hell can you not do all zombies I was basically jizzing my pants just waiting for an all zombie dlc !!

  • NiftyGam3r

Let me guess origins will be this super huge map huh? Thats lame i already have to sprint nearly half a mile in tranzit to get a perk. Super dissappointed freaking 17 mp maps(more than standard mp maps) and 4 zombies…-_____-!!

    • xHDAce

I think every zombies player hates TranZit/

  • Some of you people are such jackasses. Just be happy you’re getting a Zombies map. Im not a big fan of BO2 mp, but at least im looking forward to seeing the maps. #SpoliedRotten

    • TeqqVenom

Says the kid that probably cried when they nerfed the snipers, stupid optic fanboy

    • Agree not the perfect mp the give only attention on zombies and campaign

      • That’s not what im trying to say. These people act like they’ve never gotten a zombies map before. half of them probably don’t even have WaW

  • Adam

Courtyard is okay but they remade a DLC map in BO1 for a DLC map in BO2 with Stadium. -_-

  • StraightEdgeAtheist

If you think about, Treyarch trolled the zombies fans even harder, the final map pack name “Apocalypse”. That sounds like it would be an all zombies DLC, right? It’s very fitting to.

But in reality, we get four MP maps and ONE new zombie map in Alpackloolips!!

  • JohnClark_R6

In what world was Courtyard a Fan Favorite? Nobody liked that map that I can remember. Any other map from that game would of been better in my opinion.

  • Nitro Splicer

No matter how many BO1 or WaW maps they bring back, they will always be ruined by BO2 bullshit.

  • Jerry D’Erasmo

I am shocked Treyarch hasn’t learned from the colossal failure Nuketown 2025, Studio & Uplink were…Black Ops 2 becomes more of a joke with every DLC.

  • Jose Martin Gonzalez

They are taking the remake/remaster thing too far

    • Nitro Splicer

It’s a really lame excuse to not make new maps. At least IW made new maps.

      • LegitCryptic

        Lets not forget terminal

        • MeisseN

It’s free for all players. And right before Robert Bowling left IW he said that remade maps should be free. Well, he trolled us about the Last Stand / Final Stand stuff, but he was right on this one.

          • Nitro Splicer

Terminal was the best map on MW3 imo haha. That’s not saying much, though.

          • Nathan Chappell

I think you hit the nail on the head when you said the best map on MW3 was Terminal. I don’t personally agree with you, I really disliked Terminal, but the way you put it was funny considering you don’t want these remakes. If they’re the best maps on the game, what are you complaining about? I know it’s not in the spirit of the game ie paying for stuff that you’ve already paid for on another game, but if you liked Terminal more than any MW3 DLC, why do you want them to make new maps rather than present old maps in fresh and imaginative ways? I haven’t bought any of the Black Ops 2 DLC, but I had all of the MW3 DLC (note that not buying Black Ops 2 DLC was because of school, not because I disliked MW3 DLC). Still though, I would rather they made interesting remakes of Stadium and Courtyard and then spent more time on two REALLY good maps than putting out 4 average maps. But hey, I’m a sucker for verticality (see MW3 Overwatch was my favourite map) and both of the new maps mention verticality and strategy.

          • Nitro Splicer

You forget my main point. Terminal was a FREE map. With BO2, I didn’t expect to pay for maps I already own when I bought the season pass. I’m fine when they do like 1 or 2 map remakes, but when they have 5? Seems like a lazy excuse to not make more new maps. Plus, playing a remake gets old a lot quicker than playing a brand new map does.

          • Siftblade of Rivia

Yeah, but there was nothing different in Terminal except the colors. Personally, I like the remakes. I can play my favorite BO1 and WAW maps without switching disks, and they have a different feel because they look so different.

          • Nathan Chappell

Yeah fair call I guess on paying for them, as opposed to Terminal being free, must have skipped over that bit. It’s a bit hard for me to argue my point further when I’ve not played any of the remakes outside Nuketown, and I hated that map in BO1 anyway, so I’ll concede your point. I’m really in a different boat to you, having not paid for any of these maps, just purely being a spectator who views them as “BO2 DLC” without really thinking about the price tag. After all, I paid for Hazard, and that was awful..

          • Robert Bowling could’ve saved MW3, but the higher ups just seemed to headlock him and use him like a puppet. It’s a real shame. but the past is the past

          • ben wills

He was the one who wanted the game catered to casuals. Sadly BO2 went that direction as well and Ghosts is looking to based on the Free-Fall map description.

          • He would’ve done it right. I feel confident about this.

        • Nitro Splicer

Terminal was a free map. And it was the only remake they released. Not like Treyarch, which has released 5 map remakes if you include this DLC.

      • ben wills

I wish they would remake WMD or Zoo from Black Ops, but pretty happy
still with Courtyard and Stadium. I’m usually not to big on remakes, but
without them this game only has 3 good maps at best (Encore, Standoff
and Cargo), so I’m happy to get old maps that were good from previous
        games.

        • Nitro Splicer

The way I see it, any BO1 or WaW map that is remade and put into BO2 will always be ruined by the bullshit that is in BO2.

          • ben wills

            Lol. Yes. Just yes.

        • i like cod

Man, what did you say? Cargo is a good map!? Woaaah. Encore is good, Cargo is okay and Standoff is the best one of those of you listed.

  • DanDustEmOff

Seems like Treyarch hired Porche 911 designers to do the maps. What an effin rip off never again shall I buy a Season Pass for a Treyarch game.

    • Mitch

At least it’s not as shit as Face-off maps and Spec Ops missions…

      • Mitchel

I really liked Face-Off Maps and the spec ops mission didn’t ruin the amount of actal maps

      • DanDustEmOff

I enjoyed face off, at least it was something new. I wouldn’t have minded the map remakes, if they were free and outside of the season pass. Treyarch have just been lazy on this dlc season, plain and simple.

      • Face off was amazing, but i dont think they should’ve counted as part of the map dlc. it should’ve been free like terminal

    • I have a Porsche 911… Is that a bad thing? 🙁

  • TeqqVenom

The multiplayer in this game is absolute shit. Target finders, OP shotguns and snipers, terrible shipped maps, shock charges, super quick FFA and TDM, bad game modes, and walls that can be shot through by anything. Who the hell still plays this shit you ask? mostly little kids

    • Even though you’re a jackass to me, I agree with you. Except not all kids play mp. I do. and im sure you do from time to time

    • Mitch

I still don’t see how they are OP. In MW2 and MW3 they were stronger and nobody complaint, and in BO they were absolute shit and everybody started complaining. Now they are in the middle, and people decide to bitch.

      • Siftblade of Rivia

Only thing I hate is stepping around a corner and getting one shot killed by a remington. Other than that, idc.

    • Nitro Splicer

I wholeheartedly agree with you. These remakes will not be as good as people remember because of the reasons you just listed.

  • trevor

just go back and play bo 1 and waw if you want them so bad, honestly some of you are so ignorant

    • TeqqVenom

if you wouldnt of gotten a multiplayer map you probably wouldve made a video of you crying about it, spoiled little shit

      • Mitch

Says the internet warrior who feels ripped-off because of nothing…
Also, I think you’re the last who should call someone ‘spoiled’.

  • MeisseN

I remember yesterday at this time it was all about excitement of the new trailer/teaser and speculations of the DLC.

Today……. I have been a Treyarch fanboy for so long.. But fuck you 3arc you trolled me this time.

    • TeqqVenom

Agreed, treyarch appeals to the little kids that still play this shit.

      • Mitch

I love how you keep saying that MP is shit, while 99% of the zombies community agrees BO2 zombies is much worse than BO and WaW zombies.

      • MeisseN

So where do the elder kids go?

      • uareseven

Why are you here if you think COD is shit, leave the people alone who still enjoy it.

  • uareseven

In my opinion BO2 improved zombies very much, even though it didn’t have the best maps, it did fix a lot of the glitches that made zombies a rage-infested game mode.

  • MeisseN

Imagination: A DLC with 4 zombies maps, possibly even a zombie campaign.

Reality: Still 4MP+1ZM, MP now has 2 remade maps, one from BO’s DLC and another from friggin’ World at War.

    • Mitch

Yeah, but do you know how long a zombie map takes to make? Also, this would increase the DLC’s price. I can already see the bitching.

      • TeqqVenom

it is under the season pass you idiot, and a zombies remake doesnt take long at all. Why not just remake call of the dead, der riese, kino, and moon or something and then add in origins?

      • MeisseN

I surely know it. They didn’t need to rush and release the DLC that brings so much disappointment. Just take their time. CoD needs to take it’s time. The whole series is always rushing .__.

        • Mitch

Well, Treyarch has to rush DLC since all of it has to be released before Ghosts is out.

          • MeisseN

That’s it.. We are rushing title-wide now

          • Mitch

Everyone is rushing their games and DLC, it’s sadly how the world works.

          • MeisseN

There’s one game series that doesn’t really rush. That series you used as your current avatar.

          • Mitch

Well they need to release it before next-gen.

          • MeisseN

But it’s been like 5 years. 5 years make a good game

  • MeisseN

@teqqvenom:disqus Umadbro? Titanfall, Destiny and Battlefront aren’t even released, let
alone the fact that Titanfall is just another COD with robots, Destiny
    is from Activision.

And are you saying this to try to further
provoke the crowd? Treyarch releases a disappointing DLC –> COD’s
dead? Your logic is top notch

    • TeqqVenom

No, COD is dead because it is, the pre orders go down every game, and people hate every one more and more. Also, ghosts hasnt came out yet either, fucking terrible ass logic right there. Next you are gonna throw a your mom joke at me because you are five

      • TeqqVenom

Also, to reply you hit the button that says “reply” lol

        • Mitch

And if you want to say something more, you can use the ‘edit’ button, you don’t have to reply to yourself.

          • Guest

            Lol, nice one.

          • TeqqVenom

or you can hit reply again, lol

      • Guest

Pre-order goes down —-> COD is dead.

        Dat logic.

I might need to remind you that CoD still has the most players out there and even Modern Warfare 2 has more players than Battlefield 3 now. I hardly think you’ll understand tho, because you will be 5 next year. LAWZ

        • TeqqVenom

Pre orders have been going down since bo1 you fucking moron, your logic is absolutely horrible

          • But yet, every COD sells more??? as “AtheistMason” would say, “Dat logic”

          • Mitch

You really shouldn’t talk about things involving numbers since you sent me a link saying Ghosts is pre-ordered 100k times, while it says over 300k times. Probably should go back to a few classes lower and try to learn how to can’t.

          • Guest

Can you even understand what I’m saying?

    • He’s not mad, just a jackass

      • Guest

        Don’t know if mad…

        Or just stupid.

  • James K

    Heh heh, I knew it.

  • i like cod but not zombies

HAHA! I’m laughing at you zombie people 😀 Thank you Treyarch! <3

    • TeqqVenom

Mitchel. Mitch, weird how there is 1 person trying to act like 2. Your desperation kills me here, COD is dead. Every game goes down in sales

      • Guest

How do you explain that it still has the most players online? Are they all kids? lolz

And if you are trying to spray this “COD is dead” lame ass idea you better get better examples or GTFO.

Considering you are not even 5 years old, here’s my aid for you: metacritic.com. Hustle up, kid, go find scores and post them here.

      • Mitch

Sorry, I just use this account…

      • MrJDGuns

right so BO2 did Better than MW3 in sales. Totally going down!

    • Siftblade of Rivia

I hope a zombie apocalypse happens in real life and they rip your guts out first.

      • zomboyboy

        hell yes

  • LegitCryptic

    Well this blows

  • John White

I wish it was all zombies maps. -_-

    • Mitch

I would have liked that too, but then I want completely new zombie maps or re-skinned zombie maps.

  • James K

So much for FEAR TEDDY theory.

    • Siftblade of Rivia

      It didn’t make sense.

    • MrJDGuns

      that was out ages ago

  • MeisseN

Wait hold on a sec… What will characters in Origins use? WWI, WWII or 2025 weapons? You can’t call something Origins and let our Original cast use guns like Type 25. But will they add new weapons (I mean weapons of that era)? I think they mentioned the system memory stuff that’s keeping them from adding new weapons.

    If I see Richtofen purchasing a B23R off a wall in 1914…

    • Nitro Splicer

Someone said the box in Origins has WW1 weapons in it.

      • MeisseN

I hope it’s not with B23R or PDW or AN94 as wall guns xD

        • Nitro Splicer

The WW1 weapons will probably at least sound like the 2025 weapons.

        • StraightEdgeAtheist

I would love to see those.

          • MeisseN

PDW and AN94 are badass, I love them in Die Rise, but this is Origins and probably the last Zombies map with the original crew and I hope it’s not too “strange” with future weapons (sorry for the poor selection of words)

          • StraightEdgeAtheist

Look at Mob of the Dead.

I don’t expect WW1 weapons only. I expect a mixture of both just like Mob of the Dead.

I just hope there are a shit ton of weapons on that map. Both WW1 and 2025.

          • MeisseN

I know what you are thinking, but Mob of the Dead is rather off from the original storyline so it won’t matter so much. Origins is kinda different tho. But anyways, with or w/o 2025 weapons, I’m gonna play the hell out of that map lol.

          • StraightEdgeAtheist

I know MOTD is a spin off to the main story but still keep in mind the timeline of the that map.

You can’t completely discard the 2025 weapons yet.

    • TeqqVenom

      WW1

      • MeisseN

        Ok, that’s rather a relief.

        • TeqqVenom

are you in this for the zombies too? have you even seen what i have been fighting about? ive been fighting with mitch because mitch says an all zombies pack is stupid, while i say it is a good thing

          • MeisseN

I was thinking about an all Zombies pack as well.

          • Keshav Bhat

Hi buddy, Im sorry, but you aren’t allowed to post here anymore. No need to argue with others. We are allowed our opinions. Thank you.

          • Thank You Keshav! 😀

    • Siftblade of Rivia

STG, MP40, and the Trench Gun are returning. But it will be like MOTD.

      • MeisseN

MP 40 was designed in 1938 and StG 44 in 1942. But considering that Treyarch had even added AUG (designed in the 70s) and M16 with Picatinny rails (into service in 80s) in Black Ops, it wasn’t a big problem to add weapons in a certain time before they were out.

        • Siftblade of Rivia

MP40 was a fan favorite, so it makes sense. Just like the Thompson was. BTW since when did time ever stop them? We have modern weopons in MOTD, so why would it stop them from this. BTW I don’t think BO2 has enough memory to add 20 or so new weopons to the game.

      • Nitro Splicer

Source? And what do you mean it will be “like MOTD”?

        • Siftblade of Rivia

PTG. In MOTD, they had all the newer guns (PDW, MTAR, LSAT, etc.) but on the wall there was the Thompson and the Uzi.

          • StraightEdgeAtheist

I could possibly see the wall weapons nothing but WW1 weapons and the box possibly nothing but 2025 weapons I mean after all it is the Magic/Mystery Box.

          • Siftblade of Rivia

Mhm, but there will be stuff like the B23R or the M14 on the wall too.

          • StraightEdgeAtheist

They will most likely still be on the wall. Possibly weapons like the AN-94, PDW-57, and SVU-AS would be in the box through.

I think the AN-94 should be in the box in the next map through..it is just too good as a wall weapon hahaha

          • Siftblade of Rivia

Agreed, loving the SVU in Buried though.

          • StraightEdgeAtheist

Me too as well. I also hope those one of the weapons to return in the next map as well.

          • Siftblade of Rivia

            Yep 😛

          • Nitro Splicer

            Ahh. Gotcha.

    • StraightEdgeAtheist

Well you can have 2025 weapons in that map. Just look at Mob of the Dead.

  • James K

This is probably the first time an article posted on Charlie Intel broke the 200 comment mark.

  • David

who the fuck wants more multiplayer maps? shit treyarch you are disappointing me more everyday. The only reason I’m getting your games only is because zombies.

    • zomboyboy

@disqus_Eib0f71AIL:disqus told you bitch, look at this, zombies is more wanted than multiplayer maps

      • Mitch

That’s why MP is played more…

        • Nitro Splicer

You know why MP is played more? Because it’s quick. It’s a simple way to pass time. Zombies takes time. Not everyone can set aside 2-3 hours to get to a high round in zombies. Some don’t have the patience (like little kids). They play MP because it is a quick and easy gaming fix, regardless of whether or not they enjoy it. Now please, stop defending CoD MP. It’s dead.

          • zomboyboy

Agreed, i dont even understand how people even enjoy multiplaer anymore. i got to master prestige, and that was one o the worst experiences in my life, lol, never doing that in a COD game again

          • Nitro Splicer

I’m like 5 levels away from master prestige and I just can’t play that piece of shit any longer.

          • MrJDGuns

It is so dead when Activision make money off of it every year.

          • Nitro Splicer

Sure, Call of Duty continues to rake in the cash every year. But they’re losing loyal fans and supporters by the day.

          • i like cod

I know many people who enjoy, including myself. I just saw other day a bunch of randoms who were playing and here was this prestige master, 47 days played. He had 155k kills and I had 101k kills.
Some people just enjoy the game. I’ve never played a better CoD yet, seriously! Black Ops 2 has been one of the best games I’ve ever purchased and it’s the only game I’ve played 22 days doing almost everything in multiplayer.

          • Nitro Splicer

Okay, 47 DAYS? That’s a tiny bit sad.

      • David

        Wrong reply.

    • MrJDGuns

I honestly want more multiplayer maps as well as most of my friends we are not huge zombies players so to us a zombies only DLC 4 would be a waste of our money on a season pass.

      • David

I used to like BO2 Multiplayer but since I realised maps were nowhere near as good as it was back in BO maps. I liked BO maps because they were perfectly designed and plus they had interaction on them. Ex: (Press X to close/open gate)

  • Hou5eR

I don’t like the recycling of old maps.

  • Fozzie Bear

I don’t think it would have been reasonable to assume they would give re-masters of every black ops 1 zombie map…….

    • MeisseN

Agreed. In Black Ops 1 there are 10 zombies maps (excluding Dead Ops Arcade), including 6 Black Ops original maps. It’s not possible to stuff them altogether into one DLC

      • zomboyboy

i think they shouldve given kino, call of the dead, shangri la, and moon or something like that

  • zomboyboy

i hope you liked stadium in BO1, because in bo2 its gonna have target finder LMGs and snipers camping all the windows and on the roofs

    • xx420xx

there are no roofs in stadium u retard

  • Jackobeeno

I just love our Call of Duty Community, aren’t they just all nice people and do not argue over every little thing 🙂 …….. oh wait

    • zomboyboy

lol, zombies vs multiplayer, snipers vs the rest of COD, blops1 vs mw2, and mw3/bo2 haters vs mw3/bo2 lovers (haters won this one by a ton)

    • LOL.I’ve never seen so many people angry for a DLC they cant wait for? You figure that out..

  • zomboyboy

a charlieintel blog where the news originally comes from gets like 250 comments, but then a reupload from tmartn gets 500 comments in half the time >:(

    • Tmartn is a joke. CharlieIntel deserves all the views he and Ali-A get.

      • zomboyboy

        100000000000% agreed

Reading the comments it seems everybody is irritable because of this fucking map pack. ( yeah, i’m too).

TREYARCH. GIVE US AN OPTION OF BUYING THE ZOMBIES MAP ONLY. I WOULD EVEN PAY 800 MS POINTS JUST TO SAVE MYSELF 400 MS POINTS FOR THOSE MULTIPLAYER MAPS. Please.

  • Abd3l4l

    Fan Feedback My ASS!

  • Baldmanz_RAGE

They have to do some remakes. They don’t have enough time between dlc drops to do 4 completely from scrach maps. I enjoy them putting different spins on old maps i enjoy playing on. The one thing you can be a little pissed at is the fact we are paying for it again but shit you waste more money on fast food and over priced vending machine crap! Remember they only have 10 months after launch to get this done for us. Don’t buy it then and quit bitching people!!!

  • Abd3l4l

Treyarch needs to get their ears checked up, because that’s not what we wanted!

  • Alex | FamousIsLIVE

    More remakes -__-

  • David Sync

Am I the only one who is actually happy they didn’t add the BO1 zombie maps …… A new zombies map with the original 4 is all I need

  • d’hcrayert

Look at the mess in the comments. I have never been so ashamed of any other gaming community, one of the main reasons I feel like I’ve quit COD now. Im still her for CharlieIntel.com and to see COD franchise succeed, but I feel like an awfully large percentage of you need to be sterilised.
A guy recommends you play another great game from the franchise, that has nowhere near died out btw! And you jump on him, as if having an opininon is illegal and will not be tolerated!
Age is irrelevant btw. You guys seem to think it is ‘cool’ to be a grown man, talking down to kids who make their own opinions on a videogame??? And the sweet irony is the childish manner in which you argue with these ‘dumb kids’, its funny alone that you chse to argue with said ‘kids’. Stick to being that cool grown man who rages at kids over Call kf Duty, or grow a pair look in the mirror now, admit you fucked up, reassess your priorities and redistribute your time doing fuck all! You are all grown men after all the only thing that seperates you from kids is your job and commitments. According to the comments there are very few, if any grown men here.

Am i the only one here who likes this dlc? I’m both a zombies and MP fan. The only thing i hate is 2 re-skinned maps. I thought we had a trend 3 new maps 1 re-skinned and 1 zombies map? Why treyarch?

  • Siftblade of Rivia

    300 comments. Damn, everyones pissed!

  • Kyle PDX

I still don’t get it, it looks great but the Origins trailer showed a lot of the old maps from blops 1 and WAW. I think its great that 3arch actually made a new map instead of just giving us all the old maps re-vamped but a new map, 4 mp maps and all the old Zombie maps would just be one totally bad ass map pack.

    • Siftblade of Rivia

It also would’ve costed $45, since there were like 10 old zombies maps and 5 maps is $15.

  • Oriole5

Really wish multiplayer and zombies DLC would be able to be bought separately. I have bought all 3 DLC, and will buy DLC 4, and have yet to play any of the multiplayer maps.

    • Siftblade of Rivia

$3 per map, seems good to me.

  • sss

    not a bad dlc
people just got their hopes up way to high.

    • Siftblade of Rivia

Who’s fault was that? Did you see the Origins trailer? They hyped the maps so much that everyone thought they were returning. I never believed an all zombies DLC would occur again until that trailer.

  • Kevin Anthony Seepersad

They need to NOT put the Courtyard remake in Ground War. So far every single DLC map has been available in ground war and that would be a huge mistake on this one. Grind should NOT be a ground war map. It’s a complete mess. Nor should Uplink, and I’m probably forgetting one or two others.

I bought the season pass but it won’t let me have the new map packs. What gives? Also it says there is no more microsoft points but real currency. Why would I buy the season pass just to be told I have to pay for the new content. Im fucking pissed about this.
