The Wii U Developer at Treyarch, @A_Trey_U, has tweeted confirming that the Wii U version of Call of Duty: Ghosts will be getting dedicated servers in the near future. He doesn’t have a confirmed date just yet, but news is coming very soon.

We’re still looking into more information regarding dedicated servers on other platforms. Infinity Ward’s Senior Community Manager has already confirmed that they are being rolled out over time.

    • I’m on PS3 in the Netherlands, and I basically have 0 problems. Yet to have a host migration, haven’t had any lag, and I’m having perfect hit detection. Today was the first time I lost connection to host, that’s all.

  1. Wouldn’t surprise me if the Wii-U gets dedicated servers before other platforms – after all it is Treyarch working on it and they actually understand what a dedicated server is.

  2. Oh yeah…so the casual gamers who care more about Mario cart get dedicated servers before the rest of us. They properly don’t even know what a dedicated server is!

  3. That’s actually quite a surprise to me. When Mark Rubin said ‘all platform’, I expected it to be PS3, PS4, PC, Xbox 360 and Xbox One, because Wii U also gets left out on DLC.
