Ali-A has just uploaded a video which shows how the PS4 version of Call of Duty Ghosts looks when using remote play on the PS Vita. In case you don’t know, all PS4 games can stream video to the PS Vita via local wifi so you can play PS4 games around the house. Check it out in action:

It works great. I’ve done it myself. It’s hard to play, but it works flawlessly.

edit: MP is hard to play

    • How is hard to play? Is it worth getting a Vita for??

      • HenryDF

Definitely not worth getting a Vita for, but if you already have one it’s worth giving a go. If Remote Play becomes even more major and involved maybe it is – up to you though.

      • Josh

Probably not considering the size of the screen and the price you have to pay.

      • Primey_

He probably means the control delay made it hard.

      • patrickolson

MP is hard to play because of the lack of control. As mentioned in the video you don’t have L2/R2 L3/R3. You have to use the touch pad on the back of the Vita. If you aren’t playing to be highly competitive/don’t care about your K/D, you would be just fine. I noticed zero controller delay. It flawed absolutely flawlessly.

I’ve become really impressed by Ali-A recently, since the Ghosts launch. Before it launched, he was acting really badly and I think he’d just run out things to say. However, he’s been really committed to Ghosts recently, though I guess that might die down soon.

It’s not something I’m going to be trying out though, I’m far happier playing well on my TV rather than screwing up my stats while playing on my Vita.

    • MeisseN

I think his passion for Ghosts will last till the release of the next COD as most famous COD youtubers

  • thesupertomek

    cough, cough… Wii U…

    • Josh

Wii had the idea BUT who has the better product?

      • Alexander Kleinwechter

        ? You guess!

        • Josh

          Is that a joke?

          • Alexander Kleinwechter

No, its just obvious wich is the superior version, not hating on the other one though, i think that answers your question!

          • Josh

What do you think is better? You didn’t say in your comment but I’m guessing it’s the wii from you other comment. I’m thinking your probably 12 as you obviously know nothing about the hardware or quality that has been put in to each console. By the way the PS4 and Vita it better just to clear that up.

          • Alexander Kleinwechter

            Thats your opinion man!

      • johne

Nintendo, because they have better games..

      • fred

ps3 had this feture but never took off . wii u is sht 😛

    • HenryDF

      cough, cough… PS4 and Vita…

      • thesupertomek

        350$ Wii U or 400$ PS4 + 300$ Vita.

        • HenryDF

What’s your point? You’re telling me that you’d rather have a Wii U with a gimmicky second screen than a PS4? With or without the Vita, the PS4 is still the far better console and the majority would rather have it than a Wii U.

          • Alexander Kleinwechter

I think playstation 4 looks good, but it doesnt come close in my opinion to a console, wii u just has better game sin my opinion and the wii u gamepad is really great innovation, i really like it, plus it has a bigger screen then vita.

          • HenryDF

It doesn’t come close to a console? The PS4 is the closest thing you’re going to see to a gamer-orientated console in the next 7 or 8 years. The Xbox One is the closest thing to an entertainment-orientated console you’re going to see. Not sure what you’d call the Wii U, but it’s not up there with either of the other next-gen consoles it terms of gaming or entertainment in my opinion. I can see why people would get it though – I’ve played on one, and it’s fun to play on, plus you can’t go wrong with some good old Mario. 😉

          • Alexander Kleinwechter

Well, i really didnt mean like that way, of course its a good console, and it also has preatty graphics, but the only games that appeal to me on ps4 is ratchet and clank. I can buy call of duty for the wii u, it looks very good in my opinion. I actually buy a console for the games not the console itself.

          • Siftblade of Rivia

“the only games that appeal to me on ps4 is ratchet and clank.” Wii U is the best system for families and kid-friendly games.

          • Josh

I knew he was a kid LOL

          • Alexander Kleinwechter

Well to me metroid isnt that kid friendly, there so title confirmed yet, but im 100% sure there will be. So please answer me this, what games have you bought for your ps4?

          • Siftblade of Rivia

Yeah, it is. Wii’s exclusives are stuff like Mario, Zelda, Rayman, and LEGO. Playstation exclusives include Uncharted, Infamous, Beyond 2 Souls, Last of Us. Xbox exclusives are Halo, Dead Rising, Forza, Gears of War. Things like COD are available on Wii U, but they are third party. There are basically no Wii U exclusives rated M. I have not bought a PS4, I will wait until the defectives are sorted out, all the bugs are fixed, and the delayed games release, which is around early 2014. I’m going to buy Infamous: Second Son and upgrade COD: Ghosts when I get my PS4.

          • Alexander Kleinwechter

Well, actually LEGO games arent nintendo exclusives, but still i like those games, like the first lego star wars game back in 2005, that was fun :). Playstation exclusives are probably really good for those people who like those specific games. You know zelda and mario isnt a m rated game, but they have scored both the best video game of all time, so i don’t think just because they are more kid orientated games doesnt mean they are bad. I play mario and some other nintendo exclsuvies, Zelda is my favorite game series of all time, for me zelda cant be beaten. I also play COD sometimes, even if it makes me frustrated ;). So really i dont care wich console people buy. I dont actually hate any console; maybe xbox, but still it has some cool games like halo. Never played it though.

          • Siftblade of Rivia

I think one of the LEGO games is. And that’s my point. I didn’t say Nintendo made bad games, I said it makes family-friendly games. This is a COD site so most people play the more in-depth games (story-wise, gameplay-wise, and graphic-wise). It depends on what type of games you like and play. I’ve played Mario and Zelda, but not so much anymore because I’ve played enough of those in my childhood. Now there’s like 200+ mario games that are more or less the same, so obviously I’ve lost interest after playing a bunch.

          • Alexander Kleinwechter

🙂 sry its just hard not to laugh at your comment, not offending wise but more, thats classic american. Yeah there is 2 lego games exclusvie to the wii u of the many that exist, and i really didnt know if you joked about that thing that you play games for more story wise gameplay wise and graphical, that has to be a joke right. oh and you mean all those mario games, oh yeah i forgot about all of those, between how many COD games are there?

          • Siftblade of Rivia

Playing games for story, gameplay, graphics etc. is everyone on PS3/PS4 and Xbox 360/Xbox One. I play Mario with my little cousin on his Wii when I visit. To me it’s the same as it was when I was 10, it’s basically like an iPhone game. It’s fun to play, but you can stop anytime you want to. I like games that intrigue me in story, where I always want to know what happens next (The Walking Dead: Telltale Games). I want games that make me never want to stop playing because there is so much to do (GTA 5), and I want games that look incredible while I’m doing that (Metro: Last Light). Mario and Zelda has repetitive levels and objectives, you always know that the hero wins in the end and saves the princess, and the new Super Marios aren’t that graphically improved from the old ones. Gameplay stayed the same throughout every single game. The first COD was in 2003. Mind you, I started playing COD at COD4: Modern Warfare, which was around 2007. The first Mario game was in the 1980’s, and I started playing things like Mario on the N64 around 1996. You have to remember that I’m not 10 years old, I went through the era of Mario and Zelda, and now I’m beginning to like things that are more.. in depth.

          • Alexander Kleinwechter

Thats a good reply and im impressed, but you know that some mario games do change because they are different gameplay, those games are different from each other some are you know kart racing and other titles are called mario party games, though i have to disagree with zelda, it has always a new formula and its always changing. The story in the zelda games escpeically in twilight princess are far beyond last of us or call of duty! All these new games are same, and to movie to be games, call of duty hasnt changed like forever and that basically the same thing every time, also the same with battlefield or some other games. Have you even played super mario galaxy all through or twilight princess all through, answer honestly!

          • Siftblade of Rivia

Okay, COD campaigns are usually terrible. I only really enjoyed the BO1 campaign, because I didn’t know what was going to happen next. All the others, including Ghosts, are very predictable and, to be honest, cheesy (I still play them anyways because I like to have a little background, even though all I do in COD is MP and Zombies. My little cousin lives in a different state than me so when I go to that state, I stay at his home, and I shit you not, the only game he plays is Mario. He has all of the Mario Galaxies, hell, he even has Super Mario 64 on his Wii (With N64 controllers). He’s only nine, but holy crap, he has like 15-20 different games. I enjoyed Mario Kart and Super Mario Galaxy as well as even Mario Party, but they do get repetitive. It’s basically a play-when-you’re-bored game for me. I have no idea about the latest Zelda, but there are only a few games to me that can beat The Last of Us’ story. You may not understand it now, but there is a very deep meaning in that story, especially in the end. TellTale Games’ Walking Dead was probably the best game story-wise that I have and probably ever will play. I’m a grown man and I literally cried at the end, and I’m not the only one. In fact, I am yet to meet someone who hasn’t cried at the end (after playing the missions before, of course). Anyways, yes, I have played Mario Galaxy and actually helped my cousin beat a few levels, but like I said, not my cup of tea. As for Zelda, I have no idea where it’s been, I stopped playing that at the same time that I stopped playing Pokemon, it’s been a while.

          • Manny Suarez

            Ratchet and clank rocks

          • Josh

This kid clearly knows nothing, there’s no point arguing with him. Let him play Mario cart on his wii U LOL

          • exeterman2

Hahaha! You make me laugh funny child.

          • Alexander Kleinwechter

Glad i can amuse you 🙂

Nice in pal. I’ve been searching for a vid like this now for a while. Thanks, as I’m working out whether to buy the vita, but would it do what I wanted it to do for me. The answer off the back of your video is yes. I mean, leave the PS 4 on at home, and take the Vita to work…I can see toilet time taking ages!!! Cheers.
