I see that every team plays every other team twice, how’s that going to work? Points? Also is it LAN, Online or does it start Online and then LAN?

    • Sam

The whole tournament will be played online. No Pro Points this time as this is a test league. Check out this thread on /r/CoDCompetative. http://www.reddit.com/r/CoDCompetitive/comments/1vaxsn/mlg_launching_winter_invitational_league_play_ama/

also i think that by playing each team twice each team has the chance to have “host advantage”.

I’m trying to think of it like the NFL season. You play everybody, get your seed for the tournament, and then play the tournament. If thats how it works this is going to be awesome.

can’t wait for optic to finish 6th only ahead of faze and sb

    • mile104mc

FaZe is the only team that went 3-2 against coL, so don’t count them out. All other teams went 3-1.

  • K.E.M

    Time for col to win…again.

  • Celest1ne

I think the new OpTic roster could put up more of a fight than people think.

    • shanafan

They are looking really good since Boze and Saints joined

  • TheTruth

‘Invitational’ so same teams as usual! zzzzzzz when they going to let some better players compete?

    • Alex | FamousIsLIVE

They don’t have any better players than the ones that are on these 8 teams. They are the best in the world.

    • BudEagle26

lol these are the best players and the best teams so of course the same pro teams are going to be invited. The only ‘invite’ the top 8 teams. Even if all 32 players among these teams aren’t in the top 32 players, the people who are aren’t on winning teams. When there are open tournaments, these are pretty much the 8 teams that make it to the quarter finals, so obviously these are the top 8 teams. MLG isn’t stupid.

  • OpTic will be strong with the new roster, and scump on EnVy. Will be very interesting.

  • My predictions are:
    1. Complexity
    2. OpTic
    3. EnVyUs
    4. Curse Las Vegas
    5. Team Kaliber
    6. FaZe
    7. Curse New York
    8. Strictly Business

    Scump just joined OpTic 0.o
