I hope they listen this if the ieds or something like that returns the game is ruined , why did they remove the claymore for that

    • Brady the Defiled (sillibk)

IEDs are actually not that bad and can actually be countered, unlike anything on Black Ops 2.

    • jordanxbrookes

I’ll be so happy when they bring claymores back. They were so good not just for getting kills but as a warning if an enemy got caught up with it. I say IF because you can avoid them unlike the I.E.D. unless your lucky.

  • Jack Lame

    Ali-A, top credit giver.

  • Ryumoau

nice! i’m waiting for the episode to update on my itunes feed so i can listen to it there. 🙂

  • NextGenNose

    Ali-A again…? Let’s try and get Drift0r in. I’m sure it’ll be interesting listening to him 🙂

    • John Riley

Yeah, He’s Nowhere Near As stupid As Ali-A, Plus He Gives You Guys Credit For Stuff

  • Not hyped for Destiny anymore, since it wont be released for PC

    • kyr95

      Yeah, its a shame :/

    • Brady the Defiled (sillibk)

Ew PC. I like it being console exclusive.

    • Mario Rivera

This is why pc gamers should own a ps3/ps4 as a companion console 🙂

  • Weaselboots

I would rather relearn the gameplay , its dumb they will keep the gameplay the same cause of competitive players, we pub players play much better then them, we take risks , we play to have fun, this cod needs new mechanics and big changes, i said it before its a new generation , these new consoles will be here for years, so change is needed, Learn to adapt.

  • TheShadowReaper

go get Driftor, Wicked Shrapnel, JV2017, XboxAhoy. why the heck a twat like Ali-A is in your podcast? it completely erases any credit and effort that you’ve put into making it by looking at his name.

    • some2example2

      they’re all the same losers.

      • TheShadowReaper

lol what? you’re so wrong in this. its obvious you havent seen any videos of these guys else you would be preaching them too.

        • Spoderman

Drift0r is so reliable, Devs choose him to leak their shit.

        • Brady the Defiled (sillibk)

          Drift0r is awesome.

        • Guest

They might have chosen AliA because he can make it a bit lively I like drift0r and all, but he doesn’t make it sound exiting for me

  • Guest

Had to stop listening as soon as I heard Ali A’s wretched voice.

    • Spoderman

He has the better voice of the four.

  • LongSensation

Not watching it… Ali-A is involved. Amazes me how they even invite him even though him channel is basically a audio version of CharlieINTEL apart from he gives no credit. Dat comb over doe

  • How does oneself become a guest on such an intriguing podcast?

  • Mario Rivera

I know the “cool” thing to do is bash alia, but as far as truly understanding cod inside and out few youtubers are better. Not to say that i wouldnt have loved to see drift0r too tho. Alia had great insight this podcast but yet u guys bash like a bunch of envious fags. BTW, alia is the reason why i and many others learned about charlie intel’s existence in the 1st place so knock it off with that “no credit” shit.

    • Brady the Defiled (sillibk)

The only things that annoy me would be his voice and the fact that he metatags his videos and misleads people.

  • Brady the Defiled (sillibk)

Oh who cares about the competitive guys? Why should public match players like me suffer because some idiot like Clayster doesn’t like a certain weapon or perk? Quit catering to the competitive community, and cater to the people who actually pay your bills. Advanced Warfare looked promising until I heard all of the competitive news.

    • WHY

What did Clay do to you ?

      • Brady the Defiled (sillibk)

It was a random name. The first name that popped into my head. Everyone in competitive complains about a certain gun though. And I think Clayster is an arrogant douche bag.

    • fires

exactly, not a big fan of competitive either, and it really sucks when the game creators are trying to cater to them instead of the big picture. But, nowadays the randoms with mics only talk shit about, “competitive is ruined with the bizon”, or “*insert mlg player here* says the cbj is good with thermal sight, i must use it too!”. They should work out the competitive aspect after they work out the whole game first. Because the last thing i wanna do is get all fucking sweaty from tryharding playing cod.

    • jordanxbrookes

I agree. At least make maps built for competitive and then put that into a competitive playlist. Remember MW3, Black Ops, MW2 and CoD4? It was made for public players and they had GBs and competitive matches, and it still went great. I’m sorry but I never played WaW so I wouldn’t know if it had competitive or not.

    • cRi7iCaL

SMH Here we go again. Ghosts had little competitive support (in comparison to BO2): The maps weren’t suited for balanced matches, TTK too low, no HP or CTF and the list goes on. Yet BO2 made way more fun because players could actually navigate through the map without worrying about manic campers. It is balanced because of competitive. The Scorestreaks actually made sense and rewarded objective players in a reasonable manner. I could go on with this. The point is that catering to competitive is the way to go because the game gets balanced/less random and rewards good players. The only missing piece in this puzzle is a Matchmaking-System that matches you up with similar skilled players. But it seems that you’re a pubstomper who doesn’t want to miss out playing against bad players and earn cheap kills with IEDs…

      • Brady the Defiled (sillibk)

No. It’s not balanced because of competitive. Look at maps like Aftermath, Turbine, and Dig. And all of the Black Ops 1 rehashed maps. They’re the worst maps in the game, and the Target Finder LMGs, R870 long barrel, and quickscoping “scrubs” flooded the BO1 rehashed maps and ruined them. Black Ops 2 wasn’t balanced in the slightest. There were scorestreaks in the game, and yet people still refused to play the objective. Scorestreaks were a bit too easy to get anyway. Do you remember Arms Race? Scorestreaks were too easy.

It’s not about “pub-stomping” (stupid term). It’s about me hopping on the game and not have to worry about getting bullshitted on by tryhards. I don’t want to play those lobbies 24/7. Occasional competitiveness is good for the game, but not ALL THE TIME.

SKILL-BASED MATCHMAKING? LOLOLOLO you’re such a fanboy. No. No more fucking skill-based matchmaking. That’ll ruin CoD. Matchmaking has to be connection-based.

        • cRi7iCaL

The maps you picked are not really considered maps suited for competitive matches. Ghosts has Tracker Sight, DMRs and quickscoping is even worse. The decline of objective players in Ghosts is undeniable because it’s simply not worth hopping on a Domination point and getting killed by Danger Close Nade. Arms Race is an option, you don’t have to play it.
In Ghosts you get even more bullshitted on by tryhards because it has the tools to make it easier (I.E.D, C4, Danger Close, Support Streaks, etc.)
CoD’s population is high enough to deliver both: skill-based and connection-based match ups.
Just compare the player numbers of Black Ops 2 and Ghosts and tell me how much competitive-support ruins CoD.

          • Brady the Defiled (sillibk)

Probably because the “pros” play 1/4 of the game. 4 maps and 4 guns lmao. Ghosts’s Tracker Sight is actually balanced because the sight is thin compared to the Target Finder, and there isn’t a big red diamond around the enemies, just an orange outline. DMRs are good weapons, but they’re barely used. Quickscoping is only possible with Quickdraw, and I don’t see nearly as many snipers on Ghosts as I do on Black Ops 2. There’s no decline of objective players for that reason, the scorestreaks system on Black Ops 2 was stupid. People STILL didn’t play the objective. Ghosts has scorestreaks-esque now, and it’s better than Black Ops 2’s. Danger Close isn’t a problem. “Arms Race is an option, you don’t have to play it” Arms Race isn’t in the game anymore, and the game itself is an option. You completely misunderstood my point. No, you get more bullshitted on by tryhards on Black Ops 2. You know why? Unbalanced weapons. Black Ops 2 has more bullshit; Ghosts is just boring. IEDs and Support aren’t an issue. NO SKILL-BASED MATCHMAKING. That ruins the game. No. Just no. That’s stupid. Black Ops 2 and Ghosts have the same amount of players online.

          • CGkillZ

I’ve read all the comments on your profile and damn you bitch. All it is is how competitive is horrible. Don’t play cod then its good for something to be competitive that’s how cod is. I’m pretty sure you just blow at the game. That’s the problem and you’re probably about 13

          • Brady the Defiled (sillibk)

You have the logic of a child. That’s pretty much it with all you competitive assholes. CoD isn’t based around competitive. It’s based around fun and addiction. Competitive has ruined the bread and butter of CoD. Look at Black Ops 2 and how bad that game is. Competitive is stupid. It ruined CoD. That’s why CoD is dying. You’re just brainwashed.

          • CGkillZ

I don’t play competitive. I think its fun to get a good team and go against another good team and see who wins. Without things being competitive its not a game cuz somebody’s got to win. I’m pretty sure you’ve got the logic of a kid.

          • Brady the Defiled (sillibk)

No, I actually have valid points. My logic is fine.

I don’t see how people camping and playing 1/4 of the game is entertaining. That’s not my way of being entertained. Multiplayer isn’t always competitive. Everyone will have their moments of positive and negative competitiveness, but people hop on Call of Duty to PLAY Call of Duty. Not play against good players every single time they hop on. I’m not asking for much. Just separation between public matches and a competitive playlist. Competitive influences map design (headglitches, built for douchey ways to play) so that’s why I don’t want competitive in public matches. I doubt that would happen. Hopefully public matches are fine.

          • CGkillZ

Yeah there will be different modes so stop whining.

          • Brady the Defiled (sillibk)

Don’t patronize me. Different modes haven’t been announced. It’s only speculation. That’s why I’m complaining. Competitive affects the headglitch spots on maps. That’s why I don’t want competitive to have ANYTHING to do with public matches.

          • CGkillZ

OMFG there has always been headglitching its in the code of the game. Competitive has nothing to do with it. And you are bitching like a 5 year old girl. And its not like public matches are just going to become leagueplay. If you think they will you got no common sence. They wouldnt cut off most of there sales like that. Your not that smart are you?

          • Brady the Defiled (sillibk)

Does it matter? It was more apparent on Shit Ops 2 and that was my point. Headglitching is a part of the engine, which may or may not be new on AW. But, of course, the engine probably isn’t new, and headglitching will be back. I’m bitching like a 5 year old girl? How about the fact that I don’t want CoD to have anything to do with competitive because it draws arrogance and developing influence to negatively effect the franchise? Use some common sense and use your brain. Oh wait you can’t because you’re brainwashed. I don’t care whether public matches will become League Play or not. The idea of competitive is retarded and has killed CoD. You’re obviously biased. No hope for you.

            You’re******

        • CGkillZ

Wow you are a dipshit. That’s the nicest way I could put it.

          • Brady the Defiled (sillibk)

No, you competitive brainwashed saps are the dipshits. It’s fact that competitive is ruining not just CoD, but gaming in general. What’s funny is that you dumbasses call yourselves athletes. THE MAJORITY DOESN’T WANT COMPETITIVE IN PUBLIC MATCHES. That’s an idiotic idea. If that happened, CoD would die. Thanks to people like you.

          • CGkillZ

Competitive isnt in public matches dipshit. Cod is dying because its repetitive. Not because of competitive. They’re not athletes most of them are fatass losers. And competitive has grown alot more recently more people are into it. So it’s not a small minority.

        • CGkillZ

So basically you suck. You say you don’t want people to be tryhards and kill you. Well if you want to win you got to try right? You want a competitive feel to the game, you don’t want a full team in domination to just go in a circle jerk do you? No you run around and try your ass off. I agree with the matchmaking it should be connection based but with league or a 4v4 game type it needs skill-Based matchmaking.

          • Brady the Defiled (sillibk)

I don’t want to play against good players 24/7 that’s an idiotic idea. I want to hop on and play. There’s no excuse. Keep competitive in League Play. Do NOT bring it to public matches. Treyarch did that with Black Ops 2. Look how much of a dick Vonderhaar is. He ruined CoD and what it was.

          • CGkillZ

Omg are you one of those kids that threatened to kill him? you’re pathetic, You don’t know the man. He makes the game millions of people have played. Competitive isn’t in public matches. And I did agree with what you said about matchmaking you keep beating on a dead horse there. You seem like an angry individual over something that really doesn’t matter.

          • Brady the Defiled (sillibk)

No I’m not one of those kids. That would be the sniper community. I’m not a sniper. I’m not pathetic. I don’t respect his arrogant attitude on Twitter and his hate towards YouTube and the people making videos. Preferably Thunder.

You’re only defending him because he supported the competitive community. Why? Because you’re biased and have one-sided arguments. Competitive WAS in public matches. Black Ops 2 was the DEFINITION of competitive in public matches. Skill-based matchmaking at launch, head glitches, the unbalanced pick ten system, etc. It does matter because competitive effect multiplayer can, well, effect multiplayer.

          • CGkillZ

He didn’t ruin cod infinity ward ruined cod. But Really it’s the people that play it that ruin it. But the devs make it easier to hate on games like Ghosts.

          • Brady the Defiled (sillibk)

No, Infinity Ward didn’t ruin Call of Duty. Ghosts’s maps and spawns were bad, but the game itself was decent and far more balanced than Black Ops 2. But I agree in the sense that Ghosts’s problems were a collaboration between the developers and the community. CoD is bad because of the community and because of the fact that the developers put dumb shit it.

          • CGkillZ

Ghosts has a nice feel to it but its too boring that’s why I say bo2 is more fun because people actually rush and it’s better. I believe iw killed it because of how little people play ghosts

          • Brady the Defiled (sillibk)

Ghosts had 2 million less sales than Black Ops 2. They both get roughly the same amount of players (100k). I agree, though, Ghosts is boring and Black Ops 2 is more action-packed. BUT Black Ops 2 is far more rage inducing.

          • CGkillZ

Hell no Ghosts is more rage inducing yeah i get pissed with both games but ghosts takes less skill to play.

    • CGkillZ

Well with competitive in the game it will create a more balanced game.

      • Brady the Defiled (sillibk)

        No. It won’t.

        • CGkillZ

How does it not? when something is op in competitive it usually is in Core mode. So when they balance something in competitive they make it balanced or they destroy it like the msbs and pdw-57. So how am I wrong?

  • chris

I really would like to see more in depth character customization in FPS games. I did like the little bit of effort that they had in ghosts, but its nothing like cod online and to pay 4 dollars for legendary characters and not be able to put different uniforms on them, or even give you the option to choose different uniforms they have dawned in previous cod games is insane……

I’m tired of beanies and cloth hoods, give me one of those cool ass helmets, or a futuristic soldier helmets with your face, or even a skullcap with a bunch of comm. equipment attached to it, let me choose the torso, legs, and headgear, and what different types of gloves. I want to have an online identity, I want to look like a badass, I pay attention to those things! I don’t want to hunt a bunch of generic characters to find the guy who shot me, I’d rather be able to tell who that was just by looking at them.

p.s. don’t think I didn’t notice that SH used the same stock character model from GHOSTS MP. Male character head A @ 1:19

p.s.s. Stop showing pictures of cool weapons with all these attachments that aren’t even in the game, and don’t have half the detail such as slings, and flashlight or laser attachments it feels like false advertisement or that you are not confident enough in your game to show off what it actually has to offer.

  • Edwin Cortez

I listened the last one and was annoyed that they missed on simple things of COD… It felt like someone who doesn’t play COD was talking about it.I Like the site but the podcasts are a little weak.

  • Quick

Get Thunder on. He knows exactly what we need for the next CoD

    • Mr Doge

No he doesn’t he just rants and complains about the typical stuff, Dritft0r is a much better person because he studies the game.

      • CGkillZ

Thunder is at least really entertaining driftor is too but is a total nerd

  • Daniel M

    Please get rid of Ali-A

  • jordanxbrookes

Bring in XboxAhoy or Drift0r. Heck even Chris Spooner would be a better choice than Ali-A.

  • J4MES

Ali-A is an Activision puppet who is financially connected to the franchise. I’d rather listen to unbiased, independent commentators within the community who give honest thoughts and opinions without fear of repercussions. Ali-A is paid to promote and entice people regardless of the quality of the product/content. I find his ‘I’m super excited to bring you’ line cringeworthy.

Surely he must feel a bit of a mug promoting Snoop Dog DLC and trying to make it sound like a must-buy. This is why I prefer genuine gamers who aren’t scared to criticise and give a legitimate opinion.

  • GrowAPair

I really can not believe these guys are thinking of ways to have the game written to prevent what they perceive to be camping.

What is it with this f#$king communist/social view that everyone has to have the same game play. Get over it you crying babies, learn to use your head.

These guys were really discussing the fact that they had to factor in ide’s in their game play, they didn’t want to be bothered with them, what do we remove next, other players cause they don’t want to be bothered by them either … what a bunch of f#$king pu55ies … grow a f#$king pair of balls!!!

  • Ryumoau

I’d love to hear Driftor on a podcast episode some day. 🙂

  • Bread Bro – YouTuber

    Drift0r plz
