In the newest issue of MCVOnline Magazine, Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare was featured with interviews from Glen Schofield and Michael Condrey. In the magazine, MCV has confirmed that High Moon Studios, the team behind Dead Pool titles and Transformers games, is working on the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions of Advanced Warfare. Sledgehammer is putting full focus on the Xbox One, PS4, and PC versions of the title.

Judging by the trailer, the Advanced Warfare engine appears to be a huge step-up over last year’s Call of Duty: Ghosts. The reason, according to Sledgehammer, is because it’s not worrying about making the Xbox 360 or PS3 versions. Those have been handed to developer High Moon.

If you remember, back in March, we initially reported that job listings for High Moon Studios stated that they are working on a “high-profile FPS for Xbox 360 and PS3.Β Looks like Advanced Warfare is the title they are working on for Xbox 360 and PS3.

Good news. This game will be better optimized for PS4 and XBone, which is how it should be.

    • kyr95

True next gen Cod πŸ˜‰ Also ” AW’s engine “…does that confirm that its a new engine designed specifically for this? πŸ˜€

      • No…. :/

        • kyr95

Look at my comment up top. The article almost confirms it πŸ˜‰

      • Prince Of The City.

It’s a “New Engine” every year.. Apparently they’re allowed to call it a new engine even if they only tweak the existing engine, which is what they’ve been doing since CoD4.. Also, what people fail to realize is that if they do have a truly new engine it will feel different and probably not like CoD.. The trick is to tweak it enough to where it’s sort of new but not go so far where you take that classic CoD feeling away and make it feel like a different game.

        • DanDustEmOff

I’m sort of with you on this, I agree but at this point a new engine (a completely new one) needs to be built or bought for up coming titles. The ID Tech 3 engine does have core flaws that have to be addressed.
For example the ID tech 3 engine isn’t built to use modern hardware. Since 1999 CPU’s have added more cores, graphic and system memory have had a couple of generations and the engine isn’t built to fully exploit the hardware.
We as a community should not keep accepting their desire to keep the engine going for as long as they can. I own Crysis 3 for the PC, the game was so, so… but that Cry Engine. The mechanics are flawless, the graphics are gorgeous and even the net code is awesome.
All it would really take for Crytek to rival CoD is to produce a realistic WW2 or modern era shooter built around fast paced gun on gun online experience.

          • Homefront 2?

          • DanDustEmOff

            Crytek aren’t developing it though.

          • Yes, they do. It’s Crytek UK developing it.

          • DanDustEmOff

Yeah exactly Crytek UK thats a different developer. Crytek are based in Germany.

        • Siftblade of Rivia

Exactly. Why fix what isn’t broken? The engine they use is fine, looks good and plays well for the most part. Look at what happened to Youtube.

          • jordanxbrookes

Your right it isn’t broken, but it does need upgrading dramatically, you can’t run on an old game engine like the id Tech 3 one forever, They say it’s a New Era for Call of Duty, and for it to be a true New Era, a new engine would make it new.

          • Dr. Forrest #SpongeBobSquad

            Flagged get out.

          • jordanxbrookes

No, I won’t, and btw my comment was appropriate to the reply of SiftBlade, so good luck trying to do well in life.

          • Siftblade of Rivia

Oh yeah, it definitely needs a big upgrade. but the engine works for COD. It’s what makes COD, well, COD. That’s how I see it anyways.

          • Brady the Defiled (sillibk)

A big upgrade? This is next gen. You can’t make next gen things on Quake 3. Quake 3 is heavily dependent on frames per second and that’s why you see lag. No matter how smooth you think it is, they can make a new engine that’s much more smooth, like what Valve did with Source.

          • Siftblade of Rivia

Obviously you can since it’s being done.

          • Brady the Defiled (sillibk)

Ghosts was not regarded as next gen. It has a next gen GRAPHICS engine (Umbra 3) that’s tacked on Quake 3, however, Ghosts did not have next gen gameplay. Ghosts still thinks in frames per second, so a new engine is a necessity, and not wanting more for your dollar with the same old, outdated engine is a negative thing.

          • Siftblade of Rivia

Face it, they’re not going to spend money creating a new COD engine when this one still works and they know the game will sell. Maybe when we get a full next gen game that isn’t ported to the old gen, but until then I doubt it. AW will most likely be another improved version of the previous engine.

          • Brady the Defiled (sillibk)

Licensing engines don’t take a whole lot of money. And isn’t your comment completely contradicted by http://www.charlieintel.com/2014/06/06/shgames-says-majority-of-advanced-warfares-engine-has-been-built-from-scratch/#comment-1422158405 this?

          • Siftblade of Rivia

“SHGames says MAJORITY of Advanced Warfare’s engine has been built from scratch”
The keyword is majority, not all. They probably reworked the previous engine and added things to it to improve it. But who knows, SH is full of surprises. After MW3, I try to keep my hopes low for COD so that I’m not disappointed. Believing that they would create a new engine if they actually didn’t would disappoint. As long as they don’t change the core mechanics of COD, a new engine could work. But I don’t see why they’d create a new engine on their first COD game, when Treyarch and IW have been using the same one for years.

          • Brady the Defiled (sillibk)

Why should they create a new engine, you ask? Well, like you said, it’s their first game, and they don’t want to disappoint. This is the first CoD where their name will be fully recognized. They are under HEAVY pressure. These guys could be so talented that they could have created even SMOOTHER mechanics than anything built on Quake III.

But yes the things like audio, physics, animations, etc. are new with some lines of code LEFT of the engine, but they could call it a new engine. It makes sense because I’m sure most companies have been doing that for years, like DICE with Frostbite 3, Valve with Source, etc.

          • Siftblade of Rivia

The new engine is a risk though. It could be better or worse. We’ll see if SH is going to play it safe or take a risk.

          • Brady the Defiled (sillibk)

Well I think they’ll always take risks, I’m sure that that is what the entire Advanced Warfare project is all about. Ambition, taking risks, not taking the easy way out, etc.

For me, I do not want a game that thinks in frames per second thanks to the engine that runs it, and said engine should not effect the net coding. Plus, it’s a bit too glitchy so if the AW engine still has that little bit of core code and isn’t really new, then we’ll see crap like quickscoping and headglitching return as well, which would anger me.

          • Brady the Defiled (sillibk)

No, what the engine they use (Quake III) is NOT fine because it’s heavily outdated. CoD needs a new engine (it better be this game). You could easily make a new engine that’s even more smooth than Quake. It can be done.

        • unscene

from a post months ago it said that this game is built on an entirely new engine. At least i remember seeing that

          • Brady the Defiled (sillibk)

There’s a difference between a “new” from scratch engine and marketing a “new” engine that’s upgraded. They aren’t specifying on a “new engine” at all so right now we can only assume. Ghosts had a new GRAPHICS engine, which is Umbra 3, however, IW marketed the “new engine” as a new engine altogether, even though the game uses the same ol IW engine they’ve been using for 10 years. Why does Killzone Shadow Fall have a new engine? It’s in-house. CoD needs an in-house engine, not just upgrades.

Drift0r thought of a great point. Say, as an analogy, you have a skeleton. You replace it with a different skin, a heard, a brain, a liver, kidneys, etc. to it. Is it the same skeleton? No. You polish a turd, or our figurative skeleton, then it’s still a turd.

      • DanDustEmOff

I doubt it will be built from scratch. I hope it is because it is getting a bit long in the tooth now.

        • kyr95

The article speicificaly states this words from Glen and Michael ” We’ve had an oppurtunity to build a new Call of Duty engine. These are luxurious that only come by having that third year”
Notice “built”. Its almost certain its a brand new engine.

          • DanDustEmOff

I noticed the “built” I also noticed the lack of “from scratch” or “from the ground up”. Unreal 4 started development in 2003, so I don’t thing they could completely rewrite the engine in 2 years and if they did it would also mean that the game was developed in 1 year.
Like I said I hope it is, but by now I have learned that their definition of new and mine are completely different.

          • kyr95

Well i dont think we should search words like “from scratch, from the ground up” when we already have “built, new” together, but i understand your concern. Though they are giving a lot of emphasis on the extra 3rd year assisting them in the making of the new engine, and thats saying something.

          • DanDustEmOff

I don’t buy it. Most companies announce an engine separately to the game. They make a big deal about the engine itself. This kind of press release always comes around at this time of year.

I will say this if the fire rate of the weapons are still tied to the fps then the engine isn’t new, if it still used hit scan for bullet mechanics then its the same ID tech 3 engine with some modifications.

I don’t buy that they can develop an engine and the game in three years no matter what they say. But I want to be wrong.

          • kyr95

Well who knows right? Well wait and see πŸ™‚ Also SHG says that is has very big surprises for E3 so i wouldnt blame them if they wanted to keep it secret until then.

      • Jacob
      • zINz_FURY

There was an interview that has confirmed that a certified brand new engine has been acquired by SHG. According to the article it’s not a reprogramming, not a new coding, it’s a fucking shiny ass new as a baby, blunt as an atom bomb, fuck fuck fucking new goddamned bitch ass engine. FINALLY!!!!!!!

        • kyr95

          Lol someones excited πŸ˜‰

        • DanDustEmOff

I have only seen them say a brand new audio engine and a new engine. I haven’t seen anything saying a whole new engine with a whole new code. Where did you see it?

        • Brady the Defiled (sillibk)

          Where at?

      • zINz_FURY
      • Michael

Actually they already said that the game runs on a new engine, but if you were to examine the coding (or whatever you call it) you would find a few (very few) lines from the old game’s engine.

    • Rorke File

And so the current gen gets some hope they are only working on there version

  • Call of Deadpool. Now that’s a game I’d play. Haha

    • Guest

Shut up and take my money! πŸ˜€

  • One point

so will the versions be entirely different? What difference would there be apart from the graphics if a different developers are making it?

    • guest

it was like titanfall, another team was optimizing it on the 360

    • Siftblade of Rivia

Graphics, lighting effects, particles, etc. will all be worse in PS3/360.

      • Guest

Hey Sift Blade i need your help with something. Remember the Edge magazine that was to feature AW? here is the cover video, and it points to a link to watch a part of the issue on itunes, now theres an image there and i want you to tell me your opinion. ( link is in thedescription )

        https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W-WNmYE71DQ

        • Guest

          never mind here it is

          • Siftblade of Rivia

What exactly do you want my opinion on?

          • kyr95

Sorry i cant de-edit my comment :p i wanted help to show the image above here but i did it :p

          • Siftblade of Rivia

            Ah, okay.

    • Mitch

Overall visuals is a sure things. You should also look at this like sound that will be worse on PS3/X360. But content wise the versions will probably be a one-on-one copy of eachother

  • dsdas

so that means the 360 and ps3 version will look completely shit

    • Blaine

EVERY game on the 360/ps3 looks like shit. The ancient hardware can only do so much. Get with the times and upgrade

    • SoulTaker

Well I mean the hardware for that system is 8 years old. What do you expect from 8 year old technology 1080P 60 fps with insane graphics?

    • Siftblade of Rivia

Well they’ll look pretty much the same as Bo2 or Ghosts.

    • DanDustEmOff

You will get what ever the 360 can handle at 60 fps, so yes it will be sub HD or shit as you described it. Being a port it will probably also play like shit.

  • Snowman1324

Go buy next gen consoles or don’t even comment get off the website that is all about call of duty and go on a website that is all about a game you like don’t trash talk call of duty people that like it will buy and people that don’t won’t buy it ok just please leave us alone we are fan boys about call of duty and love the game so just please leave us fan boys alone. Thanks ….

    • Prince Of The City.

Your sentence forming skills are terrible. You should take some time away from Call of Duty and work on your vocabulary lol

    • Pen that writes death

Dude you need to use some periods or at least some commas. Like Prince said, you need some serious help with your sentence structure. Not trying to be a hard @ss on grammar, but dude come on it can only go so far. Anyway can’t wait for COD AW lol

  • SPAWNST4R

lol new engine !!!!! , just like ghosts “new” engine…. Just because there is a different dev making the last gen version doesn’t mean there is a new engine, Ghosts had 4 Dev companies working on it , Sledgehammer cant make all 6 versions on their own, Just like IW couldn’t. At best you can expect an overhauled engine with some new bolted on features. the only real concrete evidence of “New Engine” has been interviews for the audio, the rest has been soundbites and the odd comment made by Youtubers and 1 remark by Condrey (who instantly turns the conversation to new Audio engine!!) with no supporting evidence. I’m calling bullshit , Again.

    • I am not really calling it bullshit, but I am not gonna make any judgements until I see the gameplay itself. For Ghosts, I don’t really care it had the old engine, weird that they said it with such words before release though.

Actually, I’m afraid a new engine may steal the real CoD feeling that the game has, but, I don’t really know much about gaming engines so xD

    • GodLikeLeftNut

actually apparently there is a NEW engine and not a rehashed IW3 engine which ghosts “new” engine was. apparently this was said by one of the devs that AW engine is a new one (or different)

      • jordanxbrookes

Probably the Activision engine that was shown off 2 years ago.

    • Keshav Bhat

Ghosts was made by Infinity Ward for all 5 platforms (Xbox One, PS4, PS3, Xbox 360, and PC) in under two years. Neversoft made Extinciton of the game, and Raven just generally assisted. Sledgehammer has made Advanced Warfare for only Xbox One, PS4, and PC for almost three years now, and they are saying it’s a new engine for AW. Not the “marketing team”, the devs themselves are saying it’s a new engine. For Ghosts, ATVI PR said next-gen engine.

    • Brady the Defiled (sillibk)

The graphics engine of Ghosts (Umbra 3) WAS new.

  • kyr95

Video for the Ipad release cover of Edge Magazine #268 featuring Call of Duty Advanced Warfare

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W-WNmYE71DQ

    • kyr95

Also an in-game image of Gideon ( who looks total badass )

      • jordanxbrookes

Such detail, that’s what I love about Sledgehammer and Treyarch.

        • kyr95

If this image doesnt confirm the new engine, i dont know what is. In no way does it look similar to the older engine.

          • jordanxbrookes

I know man, well so far Sledgehammer haven’t lied to us so I’m definitely gonna say it’s the Activision engine, the new engine that Activision showed off at a press conference 2 years ago.

          • kyr95

            lied to us? πŸ˜› how?

          • jordanxbrookes

accidentally said that have instead of haven’t sorry.

          • jordanxbrookes

Ooops I accidentally said have instead of haven’t, I’ll just edit that, you saw nothing!

          • kyr95

Oh ok i was like “huh ? ” haha. But yeah its possible that its the engine Activision showcased 2 years ago-1 year almost after AW’s development had begun. Coincidence? I think not πŸ˜‰

          • jordanxbrookes

Yeah I read it back and was like oh sh*t people are gonna think I’m a hater.

          • kyr95

            hahaha no way man ;P

          • jordanxbrookes

I’m sorry Sledgehammer, please don’t sentence me to death via a sledgehammer lol

          • Choppabro2psn

Same thing I thought about ghosts until it came out.

          • DanDustEmOff

You can not tell that the engine is new from a single frame.

        • DanDustEmOff

          Huh?
Genuine question: Why Sledgehammer and Treyarch, and not IW? Personally I prefer IW games, purely because the online connection quality is better. Are you suggesting that BO2 has better graphics than Ghosts?

Don’t get me wrong BO2 would have been a good game if it had a better match making system. I genuinely don’t see why people give so much praise to BO2 and hate on Ghost’s.
Sure it has it’s faults but I consider BO2 broken in many aspects. Ghosts has some bad design choices but so did BO2. At least Ghosts is functional. When I shoot at people in Ghosts bullets register, when I get around a corner I know I’m still alive.

BO2 had potential but Treyarch ignored the community for the entire year. There was only one patch that attempted to improve match making. All it said was, when leaving a hosted lobby on another continent you will not be reconnected to that session, or words to that effect.

Surely it shouldn’t be connecting you to lobbies in another continent anyway. The net code didn’t get any love at all. I hear people say it was fine for me but with matchmaking that bad you would have to notice it.

          • jordanxbrookes

I’m on about the campaign not the multiplayer. Smh, the CoD community always jumping straight to multiplayer. Don’t get me wrong, Ghosts graphics are amazing, but Sledgehammer and Treyarch deliver that fine detail, especially in the characters.

          • Siftblade of Rivia

Yeah, I hate silent protagonists, especially when they’re the main character. It gives no depth and you feel little connection with the character. I hope AW doesn’t have one.

          • kyr95

The character in AW ( voiced by Troy Baker ) is shown and talks only in cinematics

          • Siftblade of Rivia

At least they spoke in BO1 and BO2. I’m pretty sure Logan didn’t speak once in Ghosts.

Edit: Ah, Troy Baker, of course it’d be him. Lol well as long as they talk, I’m happy. Silent protagonists are like my pet peeve in videogames.

          • kyr95

No he didnt, hope we get to hear him in Ghosts 2. Personally i prefer Sledgehammer’s approach, similar games following that tactic have succeed to making me “become” the character e.g. Metro 2033,Last Light etc. and a most recent example, Wolfenstein the New Order.

          • DanDustEmOff

I am of the opposite opinion, if they are done right. Ghost and GTA 3 were done right in my view. Although I didn’t notice that Logan didn’t speak at all.

          • Siftblade of Rivia

            *Spoilers*

Yeah, it really bugged me at the end when he was being dragged off and couldn’t even say anything to his brother.

          • DanDustEmOff

I just assumed he was too winded to talk lol.

          • Siftblade of Rivia

True lol, but so was Hesh and he yelled Logan a few times while Logan just stared back at him.

          • DanDustEmOff

I was too busy noticing that the end was ripped straight out MW2.

          • jordanxbrookes

Well Schofield and Condrey said that Mitchell only talks in the campaign’s cutscenes, similar to Black Ops 2’s David Mason, at least he talks unlike in Ghosts.

          • DanDustEmOff

idk, again I found the campaign pretty disappointing too. Some missions were good but overall I didn’t enjoy it. For me a CoD campaign is like a big Hollywood action movie.
The addition of RTS elements broke that flow for me, I didn’t even finish it. BO1 had an awesome campaign, one of my favourite’s, BO2 was meh, of course CoD 4 was my favourite and WaW was second.
To be fair BO2 did have good character models and detail but Ghost’s character models are excellent much better than BO2. Graphically Ghosts stomps BO2 in every aspect when it’s maxed out on the PC. I’m old school I always play the campaign first, I remember games before the internet was around.
WaW was my fav Treyarch game I haven’t really enjoyed the MP on any other Treyarch game.

          • Brady the Defiled (sillibk)

Black Ops 2’s graphics weren’t very good, Treyarch isn’t good at coding graphics. They never have been.

        • Brady the Defiled (sillibk)

          Treyarch blows.

  • Ryumoau

really glad Sledgehammer is focused 100% on next gen. Though i really like the last transformers game that High Rise studios made, so i’m sure the ps3/360 port will be great too.

  • k5berry

Greaaat, even more pressure for me to get a new console. But the struggle to pick which one…

    • GodLikeLeftNut

      a PC πŸ˜‰ i mean a wii u of course..

      • k5berry

Ha, like i have the money to get a PC gaming computer. I have nothing against PC, i would actualy prefer it for certain games like UT, but i’m generally a console guy

        • GodLikeLeftNut

well like what JB said ^ ^_^

          • jordanxbrookes

            Thx

        • TheShadowReaper

well you can get a PC for fair prices. but if you manage to get a PC around to 1000 usd/euros then you wont have problem running games for 2 console generations straight. + you save a shit load of money with Steam, Origin, GOG etc. i strongly recommend to anyone to get a PC when i see someone that is sceptical. it seems like a big investment up front but its there to save you money. lots and lots of money while providing you with the best experience in the industry.

          • k5berry

I guess I might look into it

    • jordanxbrookes

Do what people did with 7th gen systems, go with the one with the games that you are most likely going to play and go with the one that your friends are on.

      • k5berry

That’s what i’m probably going to do. Just never imagined myself as an MS guy

        • jordanxbrookes

Neither did I until I bought an Xbox 360, used to a PlayStation guy back in the day, but now MS has me lured in with them, that and the fact that my friends are on Xbox so yeah. Also Halo 5: Guardians! Woohoo.

          • Brady the Defiled (sillibk)

Microsoft is terrible lol and imo so is the Xbox One, I have no clue what people see in that system but that’s just me.

          • DanDustEmOff

I don’t see what people see in any console. Takes all sorts though.

          • Brady the Defiled (sillibk)

Probably because the PS4 and Wii U are amazing and have better exclusives than PC? Just a thought. CoD hasn’t been good on PC since World at War with mods.

          • DanDustEmOff

Amazing? You do realise that Samsung are releasing a cell phone with a more powerful cpu than the PS4 is packing. I disagree with the PS4 and Wii U having better exclusives. Every decent multi platform game is better on a PC than it is on a console.

    • Brady the Defiled (sillibk)

      Get the PS4.

  • kyr95

According the article ” We’ve had an oppurtunity to build a new Call of Duty engine. These are luxurious that only come by having that third year”. πŸ˜‰ πŸ˜‰ πŸ˜‰

  • jordanxbrookes

I knew they would be working on AW for 360 and PS3.

    • GodLikeLeftNut

is it me or does this sorta thing still not make it feel next gen? i mean if some what of the graphics can be run on like the 360’s power and at 60fps and the newer consoles which have almost 10X more power then how much next gen is it? could still end up looking same as ghosts :/

      • jordanxbrookes

Well Ghosts on 8th-gen looks amazing, IW did a fantastic job on Ghosts’ graphics, but look at Titanfall or Battefield 4, it’s amazing on 8th-gen systems but look sh*t on 7th-gen, so I do believe it will be a next-gen game.

        • GodLikeLeftNut

id would say a next gen only cod would be nice so they can focus only on that but the point in this thread is high moon are doing older gen so SH can only focus on current consoles xD

        • MichiganerE

Ghosts looked okay on 8th gen.

          • DanDustEmOff

            Looks awesome on the PC.

      • DanDustEmOff

It doesn’t work that way, yes the graphics will run. They will run at a lower pixel count i.e. sub HD and at with much less texture detail, particle effects etc.. making the frame easier to render for the old systems. Developers do not have to make any compromises to the next gen or PC version to get the game to run on the old hardware. It’s an urban myth that the last gen systems hold back current gen it goes back to when games were developed on consoles. Some games would have been developed on the older systems and ported over to the newer one making the old system hold back the new one. This simply doesn’t happen these days.

        • GodLikeLeftNut

just wanted to say it wasnt me. watchdogs is an example of consoles holding us back :p

          • DanDustEmOff

Are you talking about the PC version being graphicaly down graded? Thats different, the devs turned settings off so the PC version didn’t make the X1 and PS4 look like the underpowered trash boxes that they are. What concerns me more is thst they plan on doing the exact same thing for Far Cry 4.

This will probably happen with all Ubi titles going forward including the one Ubi title I was actually interested in (The Division). I don’t plan on buying another Ubi game until they admit what they have done and stop downgrading games to apease Sony. I would recommend all PC gamers follow suit and give Ubi the middle finger.

          • DanDustEmOff

Watchdog’s is an example of corupt publishers forcefully impeading their own product for a financial incentive.

    • Bob Mit

of course, they need the money.

  • Bob Mit

I hope Bo3 will only be Next-Gen. I need more noobs on the PS4.

    • shanafan

Playing COD on the PS4 is a good start πŸ˜‰

    • Brady the Defiled (sillibk)

      Forget Treyarch lol.

  • faze agony

the patch is out for ps4

  • Bob Mit
  • VVFZ

Yes keep working on current-gen Sledgehammer forget last-gen. I want moving fish in my game! πŸ˜‰

  • Drillz

Glad they dropped the price on the One. Ill be grabbing one in October with NBA and WWE 2k15 they should hold me over to some fun until November 4th then shit will get real πŸ˜‰

    • Brady the Defiled (sillibk)

      Ew

    • PS4isSoMuchBetter

      Those are three awful purchases…

  • Choppabro2psn

If the new engine isn’t built from scratch, than it sure does look like it. AWs graphical fidelity far exceeds what I expected and it predecessor on 8th generation consoles.

    • kyr95

If this is an updated engine ( i dont mind either way to tell you the truth) then HOLY SH*T theyve done a fantastic job

      • Choppabro2psn

Indeed. IW TOLD US that ghosts was on a new engine. Come to find out (without any announcements on their part) it was an updated version of the old one. Still I do agree with you on the whole indifference about the new engine. AW looks amazing and if it is the old one, then good for them! And us since we’ll be playing it.

        • Brady the Defiled (sillibk)

The graphics engine of Ghosts IS, in fact, new. It’s Umbra 3. They just never specified, which is not a good thing.

    • DanDustEmOff

You can’t really use consoles to decide which game looks better. The PC version of Ghost’s looks better than any trailer for AW that I have seen. They are only X1 YouTube vid’s so I’m gonna have to wait for the PC version to launch to see if it’s any better.

      • Choppabro2psn

I’ve almost completely forgot about the PC, lol. You are correct, but since I play on consoles, I can really on care about what I see on them, see? In the end, the PC will always have better graphical fidelity, this we all know. πŸ˜€

        • Brady the Defiled (sillibk)

Since next gen is out, there isn’t a major difference.

          • DanDustEmOff

You’re deluded Ghost’s is much better looking maxed out on the PC than it is on the PS4. I’ve seen both difference is night and day.

          • Brady the Defiled (sillibk)

Lol no, there is a difference, but it’s not major. It’s like Battlefield 4, I can’t notice any differences on ultra settings PC compared to PS4. It’ll still look good.

  • Brady the Defiled (sillibk)

I have known this since last month lmao.

    • Keshav Bhat

      Congrats?

      • Brady the Defiled (sillibk)

I’m just saying this is a month old news and has been on the Wiki since the trailer was released.

        • Mitch

It was pure speculation, it was never confirmed by Activision or Sledgehammer until this point.

  • WHY KILL GOLLUM!!??!

So there practically wanting you to buy next gen, because I want to play a game made by the same developer that made the actual game. The multiplayer I hope will have no differences but I plan on getting this on Xbox one to be safe, especially with this new decrease in price of the console.

  • advista

The Game should Native 1080p on Ps4 and Xbone

    • Brady the Defiled (sillibk)

      It’s fact that it’s 900p on Xbone and 1080p on PS4.

      • Keshav Bhat

Do you have an official source for this? Thanks

      • advista

Oh yea But Is it Native?

        • Brady the Defiled (sillibk)

          Native 1080p yup.

          • advista

            Thanks for clarifying

  • Josh Donihue

I feel like it’s going to be just a Halo knockoff…

  • joshua

Man they should have made the last transformers game cause it sucked an no muliplayer im so disappointed about that but I hope they make the next one an cod looks bad ass but im getting it next gen cause god only knows the gigs the install will take up cant be worse then gta 5 though ill play old games on 360 until one has better games but I wont be getting anymore new games on last gen its not worth it
