  1. So not excited for this game. We been begging for pure gun on gun mp with no BS and we got exactly the opposite.

    • I think there’s a chance it might be like access to 5 micro items. Or maybe similar to MW3’s prestige shop, maybe access to 2XP etc?

    • tbh i want the steelbook edition this time. but i want the season pass to. the price range is humangest for just a season pass. god damnit…fuck this shit. i wanna struggle and twist the heads of Activision.

      • If you want the season pass and steelbook, get the Atlas Pro edition. It looks expensive, but think about it. The game (brand new) is $60, and it’s $50 for the season pass. That’s already $110 for those two things. Might as well give an extra $10 and get the steel case, season pass, extra guns, map, customization, etc.

        • but wasnt it 100 usd/euros last time for Ghosts? i mean, they get kinda a lot greedier than usual, even for Activision. damn my wallet is running around the house trying to hide right now…

          • So I wait 12 months for this, a game which cost £69 last time which is now £99 for practically the same thing.

          • pretty much. but i’ll get one of these versions. i want dat steelbook. i want it bad.

          • Idk, I didn’t get any of those. I don’t think so because it included that camera if I remember correctly. Not sure though.

    • I hope they are like battlepacks. That means deep personalization and extras like maube camos or extra xp, which is cool!

      • its confirmed as
Five (5) Bonus Supply Drops: Be prepared for battle as soon as you boot up with five bonus supply drops, which unlock a variety of in-game content from player customization gear to weapons.

  2. You guys can start making the confirmed weapons list, now. It shows the ‘Bel-27 AE Assault Rifle’ and the ‘Atlas 45 AEPistol’. At least that’s what I make out what they said.

  3. so the edition with the season pass will be around £70-80 here in the UK? since there are no prestige and hardened edition this time

  4. Good memories… usually I went to those bushes at top end of the Pipeline map and just killed everyone with Barret .50cal. At least someone uses that sniper right though…

Would be nice to have more MW2 remake maps. But we all might get this map playable as before like Nuketown 2025 and Free Fall which both ones were pre-order bonuses.

  5. Anyone know what the price will be in EU (in other words price in euros)? I am wondered about the price because I want to get the game with season pass. So anyone who would know this?

      • Okay and how about if you buy the game and season pass separately? Would it be more expensive or same price?

  6. Since COD games have been sucking badly as of late, I have decided to purchase the game then play the game to see if it is good or sucks donkey balls before purchasing additional content.

        • Well, it’s to get a basic idea of what the game is like. Of course, your own opinion matters most, but it’s always a good idea to hear from other people, then make a final decision. Rushing ahead and paying $60 now seems, I don’t know, stupid.

          • I’d rather hear from AngryJoe than, say, IGN/Gamespot. Reviews are irrelevant to me. This is why there needs to be more demos.

          • Well I don’t mean gaming site reviews. My gaming friends are sure to get it, so I’m gonna hear from them first. Though I am tempted to get it and play on day 1.

      • I’m in a big FPS clan and everyone will get the game but yeah, I have to play it for myself, I could play it for a short time and tell GameStop it was a bad disc and I want my money back. LOL

    • Well, you are paying:
      – $60 for the game
      – $50 for the season pass
      – $10 for everything else included.
Atlas Gorge will go free to everyone after 3 months or so though. So those $10 are spent on the digital content pack, and the manual. The steelbook too, though it’s not mentioend

          • Ghosts’ Hardened Edition was $120.00 though, while MW3 Hardened Edition was $100.00. For fucks sake, buying Ghosts and the Season Pass separately is cheaper than buying the Hardened Edition of the game.

  7. I wasn’t gonna buy the special editions of COD this year but this year’s edition comes with weapons.

  8. Huh… Out of all the CoD4 maps I never thought Pipeline would be a first choice but if these exoskeletons have jump boosts and all that jazz, the map is reasonably large and is probably the most vertical CoD4 map, maybe even third most out of all CoD maps with Favela and Kowloon being at the top.

Overall, a nice unexpected move by SH thinking well, should hopefully be more enjoyable than the shit known as Nuketown2025 and Freefall.

      • To a certain extent sure, changes will have to be made though I reckon, like held up platforms from the crane might have to be implemented in other areas somehow to help with the exoskeletons uses.

      • In my opinion, Dome on MW3 is as small as maps should ever get on CoD, and even so, I don’t want a 2025 version of it which literally had no gameplay improvements made to it.
I remember with BO2 I actually deleted my NT2025 but then they thought it’d be a great idea to make it free, so I ended up laying the DLC playlists only to avoid it. True story if you were interested.

        • Nuketown was unique, and I think that’s why people liked it. It’s a fun map to play for fun, rather than to take seriously.

Along with various MW2 maps and Dome, from what I hear from friends and others, it is regarded as a “classic” and good CoD maps.

    • Game is listing limited edition for £70 and pro edition for £100. Better than I expected. I’m guessing that buying the pro edition will cost less than the getting the limited edition and season pass separately.

  9. i’m on ps4 and I want to buy the game directly on my console to preload it. Do you think I can still get the atlas pro edition?

  10. I was really burned by Ghosts and MW3 (which i bought the hardened edition for). I might just put down $5 for the limited edition and just wait till release to fully pay it off. Just in case i hear bad news and regret spending that much.

Though i really like the stuff added in the limited edition. I never buy season passes till the first pack releases, so i have no interest in that $120 edition.

  11. Also from the description it sounds like they are using pre-rendered player cards and emblems, similiar to the Infinity Ward games. Thats kinda disappointing since i prefer the custom emblem options in Treyarch games. :/

  12. How extremely disappointing. No high end edition that includes some kind of cool physical item?? All of this crap could have been in the original game instead of taken out simply for people willing to pay more. Absolutely ridiculous.

    • I hope Treyarch includes a cool toy with their version. My greatest regret is not buying those premium packs for their Black Ops titles.

        • No, it’s clear to see the Atlas weapons were designed for people willing to spend more since you also get custom Atlas helmets and exo suit. It was clearly planned to give people who bought the ultimate edition the exclusive gear.

          • You’re clearly not seeing the point. This content COULD HAVE and SHOULD HAVE been in the original game but it’s instead being given to people that are wiling to pay more. I don’t care what kind of design it has.

          • Why the hell should it be in the original game for free you idiot. Do you have any idea about business and how to make money, people are wiling to pay that little bit extra for quality, exclusivity and customizations.

Get over it dude, Call Of Duty duty is not just a game developing company, it’s fucking business too, therefore maximising profits is on their agenda as well as delivering a good game. If I ran COD I’d do the exact same thing and you would be stupid not to.

If your not willing to pay for more why are you expecting more for free? Be happy with what you get in the original game if you can’t afford it jeez lol do you expect them to make extra content for fun and for free? You don’t even care about the design yet you expect it to be in the game for free or sumink lmao.

I know your disappointed there is no physical item but what do you expect? A exoskeleton suit inside the box lol get real. This is at-least the first time we’ll get two exclusive guns/customiations to use on launch day for buying the ‘ultimate edition’ and will be able to use them forever. If these things where in the original game they wouldn’t be exclusive or anything special would they? THINK…

          • You’re saying that they’re making new content and you say I’m the idiot? HA! The game hasn’t even released so this crap isn’t “extra”. Jackass. Have fun throwing your money at Activision for absolute crap you blind buying sheep.

          • If they’ve planned for it to be exclusive and it is, then it is extra regardless of whether the game is released or not.

I’m a blind buying sheep? Lol arn’t you the one who wants to pay massive amounts just for a physical item to play with that has no in-game benefit or advantage whatsoever?

What kind of idiot are you? Only because I’m not picking up any sort of intelligence in what your saying… or even common sense tbh.

            Kids these days…

          • Price discrimination is the process of giving the same product to different people at different prices to receive the maximum profits. This is what “extra content” is all about, giving you a nugget of nothing important to get you to shell out the extra bucks.

If you want to do that, then fine. But don’t pretend you are getting something out of your exclusive content. Activation is getting something out of it.

I remember when extra maps were free.

          • true but look at ghosts all the pre order maps you got free in the end and the dlc weapons are even up for purchase, so i bet in the end we will all get it for free or be able to buy it in some kind of dlc

    • I actually prefer all cool digital items and no clunky toy like a GoPro with a logo stickered on the side of it or an RC car. But that’s just my opinion 🙂 Also when there’s something like that, it just puts the price of the pro edition through the roof.

      • Exactly I agree, also physical guns have no benefit whatsoever in game yet this idiot is willing to buy physical items over exclusive in game weapons and calls me a ‘blind buying sheep’ lol

  13. I may get the Atlas Limited Edition. With the amount of content you’re getting from it, it seems worth it. But that’s as far as i’ll go, for now on, i’ll only buy a Collector’s Edition if it’s $100.00 or less. Also, one more thing, the Limited Edition is actually worth it’s price unlike Ghosts’ Hardened Edition.

    • agreed. Theres nothing exclusive to the digital or Pro edition that i can’t get with the limited edition, outside of the season pass. But i don’t believe in buying a season pass this early anyway, so its no loss to me. 🙂

      • Here’s what your choices are most likely:
        A. Get it for the One and get the full next-gen experience, but not have any friends to play it with

        B. Get it for the 360 to play with your friends, but will most likely get a half-assed version of the game

        C. Save up your money and buy the game for both platforms (stats will transfer between the 360 and One)

        Choose wisely…

  14. Yay, so the games pay to win on day 1. This is just horrible. ALL DAY 1 CONTENT SHOULD GO TO EVERYONE, NON NEGOTIABLE

    • i doubt those dlc weapons are anymore than just color swaps of weapons already in the game. And if they aren’t, i trust Sledgehammer will make them balanced so they aren’t advantageous over people with in-game weapons,

    • Yeah the weapons are an AR and crossbow so they wont be OP, but zero hour is only £42.99 for the 360 so you dont pay much for that and its deffo worth getting as a standard copy

  15. I like this so much better than pass COD editions, I always felt like I missed out withe Prestige editions.

  16. Anyone remember MW3’s Hardened Edition only cost $80 and came with the Season Pass? The Ghosts Hardened Came with the season pass, but at $100, now Advanced Warfares Hardened Edition costs $120…

    Same content, but $40 more

  17. Pretty good deal tbh. the game and season pass by themselves will total $110. Might as well throw in an extra $10 and get that Atlas Pro edition. Or save $10 and get it digital.

  18. I should be able to buy all the digital content in-game from these packs. So I could still get that content, but not everything else and not have to pre-order again. Becuse I would but just the digital content in a heartbeat.

  19. what a load of BS to get season pass I have to pay $120? what happened to the limited edition having season pass, just to get more money I guess

  20. so wait can I still get the season pass in the 79.99 version or do I really need to spend 119.99 on the pro in order to get it?

    • Only the digital pro and atlas pro have the season pass. The only difference is that atlas pro is $20 more and has the steelbook.

  21. too expensive and not worth it, i want to play the game not get all this worthless crap that you’ll forget about after the game has been released

  22. I think I will cancel my pre-order ( the original one ) to get the digital pro edition
    Because it’s more valuable.

I will wait for the MP reveal.

  23. So, I’m curious as to why the Xbox 360 version of the Digital pro version isn’t up yet. Any answers? I’m assuming it just hasn’t been set up with retailers yet, bbut anything could happen.

    • I really hope the limited editions are not just for next gen. They would lose so much money by not allowing us to buy the limited editions as I bet more copys will be sold on current gen

  24. Anyone know the Atlas Pro edition’s price in EU? I live in this expensive area so it doesn’t cost any near than in US. I have tried to check the internet but nobody seems to know it. Usually they just replace $ icon to € so it would cost like 119,99 euros which is quite expensive right?

I also tried to convert US dollars to euros and it told me that it would be near 90 euros which isn’t so expensive. But then I thought that it would be almost the same price as the actual copy of the game (near 70 euros) so that wouldn’t make sense. And also that is almost impossible because I know “price politics” in this expensive area called EU.

If anyone could tell me what the price could be in EU? I would be grateful. There isn’t retailers yet in my country for Atlas Pro edition.

I can tell you that I’m not living in UK but UK’s price could be near the truth because it also belongs to EU.

  25. It sucks the fact that the limited edition and other editions are not available on 360 :/ only next gen
