  • Django

    I creamed my pants.
    Thanks for that Charlie Intel.

  • TheGamerBeast

Atlas Gorge is the bonus map

  • jordanxbrookes

Ok, I’m getting the Atlas Pro Edition. Plus new map confirmed called ‘Gorge’, sweet.

  • StrongIsland

So not excited for this game. We been begging for pure gun on gun mp with no BS and we got exactly the opposite.

    • http://Twitter.com/ImDiabetus Alex Hill (Im Diabetus)

      K.

    • Charlie

Oh, you’ve seen the reveal? Please share what you’ve learned for the rest of us.

  • http://Twitter.com/ImDiabetus Alex Hill (Im Diabetus)

Hopefully this isn’t Free Fall 2.0

    • MichiganerE

Me too, worst map ever made.

    • lstuart15

      its cod4 pipeline :)

      • http://Twitter.com/ImDiabetus Alex Hill (Im Diabetus)

Metaphorically speaking. As in, “I hope this map doesn’t suck like Free Fall did.”

        • BooBee

Free Fall was brand new but it did suck ass. Haha

          • http://Twitter.com/ImDiabetus Alex Hill (Im Diabetus)

            Indeed it was awful

          • PandaYT

Free Fall was’t necessarily brand new. It was laid out the exact same as Nuketown:

    • BooBee

No, from what I understand it’s a BS remake from COD 4 for the new Call of Duty. I bet everyone in the mother is excited about it meanwhile I’m NOT happy about that. Give me a unique brand new map. I absolutely HATE paying for map remakes when I already own that map in COD4.

      • http://Twitter.com/ImDiabetus Alex Hill (Im Diabetus)

Metaphorically speaking. As in “I hope this map doesn’t suck like Free Fall did.”

        • BooBee

Technically if you have COD4 and like it then it can’t possibly suck. Free Fall has got to be the only map I’ve ever hated. I don’t mind map remakes if they are free. This is not free since I’m (we) are paying slightly more for the extra content in this pack.

          • DJWIPE69

I think it will be free at some point like free fall and nuketown 2025

          • RdJokr Nguyen

Well, after 3 months it will be free. So basically, you’re paying to play early.
Or you know, just consider it free while the rest are paid items.

          • HenryDF

FreeFall was just painful to play. Literally painful.

And don’t forget, with the “remake”:

            1) Whole new game, whole new way to enjoy it.
            2) Complete redesign (something to do with a dam in China, I think).
            3) It’ll be redesigned to suit the exo-suit capabilities.

      • kia0525

Don’t worry, they always make the “bonus” map free after the game has been out for a couple months. This is just a quick cash-grab, nothing more.

    • Exorcist

They will make it free for everyone in a few months don’t worry.

    • UpRiftCOD

Are you kidding its a remake of pipeline (#2 best map in my books)

      • http://Twitter.com/ImDiabetus Alex Hill (Im Diabetus)

        I know it’s a remake! I’m saying I hope it isn’t a Free Fall 2.0 as in I hope it doesn’t such ass lol

    • chief

Well maybe if you ever played CoD 4 you’d know the answer to that

      • http://Twitter.com/ImDiabetus Alex Hill (Im Diabetus)

I played Cod4, I know what pipeline was like and I wish the few of you people who keep saying the same thing would understand. When I say I hope it’s not a Free Fall 2.0. I mean I don’t want it to be “ANOTHER” really awful map. Sorry if I sound hostile. I am just tired of answering the same thing. Haha.

        • chief

Understandable, I should have read the other replies before replying.

Anyway I liked Pipeline just fine, so it’s defo better than Free Fall. Exo’s obviously change everything, but then you’re just worrying about the game being bad more than the map itself.

          • http://Twitter.com/ImDiabetus Alex Hill (Im Diabetus)

Yeah Pipeline was awesome and it’ll most likely be best bonus map we get.

  • Batman

it also includes a soundtrack and steelbook, nice

    • Mario Bélanger

Who do the soundtrack this time? Afrojack??

      • Ryumoau

main theme is by Harry Gregson-Williams and the rest of the music is by someone called Audiomachine. This is according to the description in this article.

        • Mario Bélanger

          Thank you!

  • Mitch

A Dutch retailer has listed that the map ‘Gorge’ is a remake of CoD 4’s Pipeline!

  • jordanxbrookes

I wonder what these ‘Supply Drops’ are? Maybe they’re similar to Battlepacks in BF4?

    • Xander

I think there’s a chance it might be like access to 5 micro items. Or maybe similar to MW3’s prestige shop, maybe access to 2XP etc?

      • jordanxbrookes

If they brought back the Prestige Shop, I will be over the moon.

        • ham

ikr I’m so pumped now that I’m seeing a proper limited edition of the game.

        • http://www.youtube.com/user/CampyElite CampyElite

Just pre ordered the pro editon!!!

    • TheShadowReaper

tbh i want the steelbook edition this time. but i want the season pass to. the price range is humangest for just a season pass. god damnit…fuck this shit. i wanna struggle and twist the heads of Activision.

      • SiftBlade

If you want the season pass and steelbook, get the Atlas Pro edition. It looks expensive, but think about it. The game (brand new) is $60, and it’s $50 for the season pass. That’s already $110 for those two things. Might as well give an extra $10 and get the steel case, season pass, extra guns, map, customization, etc.

        • TheShadowReaper

but wasnt it 100 usd/euros last time for Ghosts? i mean, they get kinda a lot greedier than usual, even for Activision. damn my wallet is running around the house trying to hide right now…

          • JOhn Smith

So I wait 12 months for this, a game which cost £69 last time which is now £99 for practically the same thing.

          • TheShadowReaper

pretty much. but i’ll get one of these versions. i want dat steelbook. i want it bad.

          • SiftBlade

Idk, I didn’t get any of those. I don’t think so because it included that camera if I remember correctly. Not sure though.

    • Fading Lee

Sounds like what mass effect 3 online has

    • Dothepenguin

I hope they are like battlepacks. That means deep personalization and extras like maube camos or extra xp, which is cool!

      • That Guy

        its confirmed as
Five (5) Bonus Supply Drops: Be prepared for battle as soon as you boot up with five bonus supply drops, which unlock a variety of in-game content from player customization gear to weapons.

        • Dothepenguin

That is great! Earn and open Battlepacks makes me happy ;D

        • UpRiftCOD

If they do this, I wonder how many wepons there will be. I hope its around battlefield numbers.

  • http://www.oj.com pessimistprime3

You guys can start making the confirmed weapons list, now. It shows the ‘Bel-27 AE Assault Rifle’ and the ‘Atlas 45 AEPistol’. At least that’s what I make out what they said.

  • Stealth_Valtsu

    Where can I get those?????!!!!

  • JIGGALO

so the edition with the season pass will be around £70-80 here in the UK? since there are no prestige and hardened edition this time

  • JIGGALO

so is the pro edition like a hardened editon basically?

  • Grant

I’d much prefer Crossfire to be remade. Can’t remember Pipeline really

  • Guywithbrains

Good memories… usually I went to those bushes at top end of the map and just killed everyone with Barret .50cal. At least someone uses that sniper right though…

Would be nice to have more MW2 remake maps. But we all might get this map playable as before like Nuketown 2025 and Free Fall which both ones were pre-order bonuses.

  • LovekillerX

Anyone know what the price will be in EU? I am wondered about the price because I want to get the game with season pass. So anyone who would know this?

    • Mitch

A Dutch retailer has the prices at €79.99 for the Atlas Edition and €109.99 for the Atlas Pro Edition.

      • LovekillerX

Okay and how about if you buy the game and season pass separately? Would it be more expensive or same price?

  • Scott

Since COD games have been sucking badly as of late, I have decided to purchase the game then play the game to see if it is good or sucks donkey balls before purchasing additional content.

    • RdJokr Nguyen

Wouldn’t it be better to wait for someone else to play, review, THEN decide if you should buy?

      • sillibk

        Why reviews?

        • RdJokr Nguyen

Well, it’s to get a basic idea of what the game is like. Of course, your own opinion matters most, but it’s always a good idea to hear from other people, then make a final decision. Rushing ahead and paying $60 now seems, I don’t know, stupid.

          • sillibk

I’d rather hear from AngryJoe than, say, IGN/Gamespot. Reviews are irrelevant to me. This is why there needs to be more demos.

          • RdJokr Nguyen

Well I don’t mean gaming site reviews. My gaming friends are sure to get it, so I’m gonna hear from them first. Though I am tempted to get it and play on day 1.

      • Scott

I’m in a big FPS clan and everyone will get the game but yeah, I have to play it for myself, I could play it for a short time and tell GameStop it was a bad disc and I want my money back. LOL

        • RdJokr Nguyen

          Oh, good for you then.

        • Cam

Except I’m pretty sure their policy is no refunds on opened items…

  • Adam

So now the season pass edition is $120? Bullshit.

    • RdJokr Nguyen

      Well, you are paying:
      – $60 for the game
      – $50 for the season pass
      – $10 for everything else included.
Atlas Gorge will go free to everyone after 3 months or so though. So those $10 are spent on the digital content pack, and the manual. The steelbook too, though it’s not mentioend

      • MichiganerE

MW3 Hardened Edition was $100.00 and that came with Elite Premium.

        • Romero III

and ghosts hardened edition came with season pass….

          • MichiganerE

Ghosts’ Hardened Edition was $120.00 though, while MW3 Hardened Edition was $100.00. For fucks sake, buying Ghosts and the Season Pass separately is cheaper than buying the Hardened Edition of the game.

    • Keshav Bhat

If that’s too much go Digital: Get the game, the digital content, and Season Pass for just $100.

      • MichiganerE

I may now that you’ve given me the price for it.

  • http://www.youtube.com/user/CampyElite CampyElite

Im sorry but this looked so fucking funny when i clicked on it!!

  • Charlie

The red/white camo on the Atlas weapons and exo are awesome.

  • http://www.youtube.com/user/DontBeANuss The_Vortex

Wait wait waaaaait.. Isnt pipeline infinity ward’s map? I say this because I dont think Sledgehammer worked on CoD4 or MW2 sooo this could be fake

    • http://zombielakemusic.moonfruit.com Zombielake Music

But remember when they put the poll out, it included an “Exo nuketown” map

      • PAYNIS

It was an example , they didnt say they would bring back nuketown, they picked nuketowan as an example for a preorder bonus map
        IDIOTS

        • you suck hard

Did you really need to disrespect him like that PENIS?

        • http://zombielakemusic.moonfruit.com Zombielake Music

Where in my sentence did I say they WERE bringing it back, I said it had Exo nuketown on it, I didn’t say It was gonna be the map IDIOT

    • http://www.youtube.com/user/CampyElite CampyElite

Ya they were gonna use nuketown and its not true that different studios cant use other studios work they just don’t cause it would be unoriginal

    • Charlie

There’s no reason why they can’t do that. All they probably have to do is, ask IW. As long as they didn’t have any plans to use it, I’m sure they have the go ahead.

      • http://www.youtube.com/user/DontBeANuss The_Vortex

Oh okay I was just wondering. I hope they dont ruin the map play style either. Fingers are crossed

    • Well Sledgehammer helped on MW3 so their probably friends with IW and their most likely cool with it also no matter what it’s Activisions final call though.

  • MrJDGuns1

I wasn’t gonna buy the special editions of COD this year but this year’s edition comes with weapons.

    • Ruben Diaz

      in the game right

  • drjakeyoung

Does anyone know how much the editions will be in the UK and where you can pre order them?!

    • https://www.youtube.com/user/LunatikToonFL4W LunatikThaGOD

As of know you cant get them in the UK, best bet is to order from another country or wait and see if they will get released

  • KevJumbaify .

going to look at the reviews first before i pre order. i learn my lesson with ghosts

    • Ryumoau

why not just put $5 down anyway, just to get the preorder stuff? Thats what i usually do.

  • Work Hard, Twerk Harder

Huh… Out of all the CoD4 maps I never thought Pipeline would be a first choice but if these exoskeletons have jump boosts and all that jazz, the map is reasonably large and is probably the most vertical CoD4 map, maybe even third most out of all CoD maps with Favela and Kowloon being at the top.

Overall, a nice unexpected move by SH thinking well, should hopefully be more enjoyable than the shit known as Nuketown2025 and Freefall.

    • Macrox

At least it’s reasonably sized compared to the grinders that are Nuketown and Freefall.

    • lstuart15

Highrise would be great for the exos.

      • Work Hard, Twerk Harder

To a certain extent sure, changes will have to be made though I reckon, like held up platforms from the crane might have to be implemented in other areas somehow to help with the exoskeletons uses.

    • TheShadowReaper

      Nuketown is really good man.

      • Work Hard, Twerk Harder

In my opinion, Dome on MW3 is as small as maps should ever get on CoD, and even so, I don’t want a 2025 version of it which literally had no gameplay improvements made to it.
I remember with BO2 I actually deleted my NT2025 but then they thought it’d be a great idea to make it free, so I ended up laying the DLC playlists only to avoid it. True story if you were interested.

        • HenryDF

Nuketown was unique, and I think that’s why people liked it. It’s a fun map to play for fun, rather than to take seriously.

Along with various MW2 maps and Dome, from what I hear from friends and others, it is regarded as a “classic” and good CoD maps.

  • GarethWasher

I bet the UK prices are more expensive than the US prices.

    • GarethWasher

Game is listing limited edition for £70 and pro edition for £100. Better than I expected. I’m guessing that buying the pro edition will cost less than the getting the limited edition and season pass separately.

  • Jay

i’m on ps4 and I want to buy the game directly on my console to preload it. Do you think I can still get the atlas pro edition?

    • https://www.youtube.com/user/LunatikToonFL4W LunatikThaGOD

I dont see why not but just check on the ps4 store

  • Drasadex

I take it the Season Pass is $50, right?

  • http://www.youtube.com/user/CampyElite CampyElite

    This isn’t a rumor confirmed

  • Ryumoau

I was really burned by Ghosts and MW3 (which i bought the hardened edition for). I might just put down $5 for the limited edition and just wait till release to fully pay it off. Just in case i hear bad news and regret spending that much.

Though i really like the stuff added in the limited edition. I never buy season passes till the first pack releases, so i have no interest in that $120 edition.

  • Will

Going to preorder today when i pick up The Last of Us

  • Ryumoau

Also from the description it sounds like they are using pre-rendered player cards and emblems, similiar to the Infinity Ward games. Thats kinda disappointing since i prefer the custom emblem options in Treyarch games. :/

    • https://www.youtube.com/user/MasterRocketPro MasterRocketPro

At least I don’t have to see super vulgar emblems.

  • Daniel Sims

How extremely disappointing. No high end edition that includes some kind of cool physical item?? All of this crap could have been in the original game instead of taken out simply for people willing to pay more. Absolutely ridiculous.

    • BooBee

I hope Treyarch includes a cool toy with their version. My greatest regret is not buying those premium packs for their Black Ops titles.

      • TheShadowReaper

        same here

      • https://www.youtube.com/user/LunatikToonFL4W LunatikThaGOD

we will see and I hope its gnna be BO3

    • Michael Atari

It does come with 2 exclusive ATLAS guns in-game at-least I guess.

      • Daniel Sims

So? These two guns were taken out of the full game just for people with larger pockets.

        • Michael Atari

No, it’s clear to see the Atlas weapons were designed for people willing to spend more since you also get custom Atlas helmets and exo suit. It was clearly planned to give people who bought the ultimate edition the exclusive gear.

          • Daniel Sims

You’re clearly not seeing the point. This content COULD HAVE and SHOULD HAVE been in the original game but it’s instead being given to people that are wiling to pay more. I don’t care what kind of design it has.

          • Michael Atari

Why the hell should it be in the original game for free you idiot. Do you have any idea about business and how to make money, people are wiling to pay that little bit extra for quality, exclusivity and customizations.

Get over it bitch, Call Of Duty duty is not just a game developing company, it’s fucking business too, therefore maximising profits is on their agenda as well as delivering a good game. If I ran COD I’d do the exact same thing and you would be stupid not to.

If your not willing to pay for more why are you expecting more for free? Be happy with what you get in the original game if you can’t afford it jeez lol do you expect them to make extra content for fun and for free? You don’t even care about the design yet you expect it to be in the game for free or sumink lmao.

          • Daniel Sims

You’re saying that they’re making new content and you say I’m the idiot? HA! The game hasn’t even released so this crap isn’t “extra”. Jackass. Have fun throwing your money at Activision for absolute crap you blind buying sheep.

If they’ve planned for it to be exclusive and it is, then it is extra regardless of whether the game is released or not.

I’m a blind buying sheep? Lol arn’t you the one who wants to pay massive amounts just for a physical item to play with that has no in-game benefit or advantage whatsoever?

What kind of idiot are you? Only because I’m not picking up any sort of intelligence in what your saying… or even common sense tbh.

            Kids these days…

          • David Schuessele

Price discrimination is the process of giving the same product to different people at different prices to receive the maximum profits. This is what “extra content” is all about, giving you a nugget of nothing important to get you to shell out the extra bucks.

If you want to do that, then fine. But don’t pretend you are getting something out of your exclusive content. Activation is getting something out of it.

I remember when extra maps were free.

          • https://www.youtube.com/user/LunatikToonFL4W LunatikThaGOD

true but look at ghosts all the pre order maps you got free in the end and the dlc weapons are even up for purchase, so i bet in the end we will all get it for free or be able to buy it in some kind of dlc

    • TheUnionJake

I actually prefer all cool digital items and no clunky toy like a GoPro with a logo stickered on the side of it or an RC car. But that’s just my opinion :) Also when there’s something like that, it just puts the price of the pro edition through the roof.

      • Michael Atari

Exactly I agree, also physical guns have no benefit whatsoever in game yet this idiot is willing to buy physical items over exclusive in game weapons and calls me a ‘blind buying sheep’ lol

  • MichiganerE

I may get the Atlas Limited Edition. With the amount of content you’re getting from it, it seems worth it. But that’s as far as i’ll go, for now on, i’ll only buy a Collector’s Edition if it’s $100.00 or less. Also, one more thing, the Limited Edition is actually worth it’s price unlike Ghosts’ Hardened Edition.

    • Ryumoau

agreed. Theres nothing exclusive to the digital or Pro edition that i can’t get with the limited edition, outside of the season pass. But i don’t believe in buying a season pass this early anyway, so its no loss to me. :)

      • MichiganerE

        Yep.

    • https://www.youtube.com/user/LunatikToonFL4W LunatikThaGOD

I would love to but as most of my friends are getting it for the 360 I cant get the special editions “so far”. Really tempted to get it for my xbone, but will see

      • MichiganerE

Here’s what your choices are most likely:
        A. Get it for the One and get the full next-gen experience, but not have any friends to play it with

        B. Get it for the 360 to play with your friends, but will most likely get a half-assed version of the game

        C. Save up your money and buy the game for both platforms (stats will transfer between the 360 and One)

        Choose wisely…

        • https://www.youtube.com/user/LunatikToonFL4W LunatikThaGOD

Makes sense bro, I’m thinking of getting the 360 version for launch then upgrading, or try and get both in the perfect world that would be the option but we will see. Deffo pumped for this game so far after watching the reveal

          • MichiganerE

            Good luck making your choice.

  • lMattW

The game plus the season pass for $100 is a good deal I think. I may get it.

  • Dahoris

    nothing for pc ! :(

  • chief

Yay, so the games pay to win on day 1. This is just horrible. ALL DAY 1 CONTENT SHOULD GO TO EVERYONE, NON NEGOTIABLE

    • Ryumoau

i doubt those dlc weapons are anymore than just color swaps of weapons already in the game. And if they aren’t, i trust Sledgehammer will make them balanced so they aren’t advantageous over people with in-game weapons,

    • https://www.youtube.com/user/LunatikToonFL4W LunatikThaGOD

Yeah the weapons are an AR and crossbow so they wont be OP, but zero hour is only £42.99 for the 360 so you dont pay much for that and its deffo worth getting as a standard copy

  • http://dalyfe.com DALYFE

Why would they announce this the day AFTER I pre-ordered my copy from the PlayStation Store? Smh…

  • Justin

I like this so much better than pass COD editions, I always felt like I missed out withe Prestige editions.

  • https://www.facebook.com/pages/GODZ-Clan/222097414482241 dukezap1

Anyone remember MW3’s Hardened Edition only cost $80 and came with the Season Pass? The Ghosts Hardened Came with the season pass, but at $100, now Advanced Warfares Hardened Edition costs $120…

    Same content, but $40 more

    • https://www.youtube.com/user/LunatikToonFL4W LunatikThaGOD

I know right, lets just hope this new season pass we will get a whole heap of DLC, exo suits, maps, weapons, scorestreaks the works

  • SiftBlade

Pretty good deal tbh. the game and season pass by themselves will total $110. Might as well throw in an extra $10 and get that Atlas Pro edition. Or save $10 and get it digital.

  • Tyler

So can I get the digital Pro Edition on my PS4?

    • Axel Noir

      yes.

  • http://teamuprising.ihostinghq.com/ BigTyme UpR

I should be able to buy all the digital content in-game from these packs. So I could still get that content, but not everything else and not have to pre-order again. Becuse I would but just the digital content in a heartbeat.

  • Sir romero III

what a load of BS to get season pass I have to pay $120? what happened to the limited edition having season pass, just to get more money I guess

    • Odin

the digital pro has the season pass for only $100.

  • ????

so wait can I still get the season pass in the 79.99 version or do I really need to spend 119.99 on the pro in order to get it?

    • Odin

Only the digital pro and atlas pro have the season pass. The only difference is that atlas pro is $20 more and has the steelbook.

  • George Claude

too expensive and not worth it, i want to play the game not get all this worthless crap that you’ll forget about after the game has been released

  • Air Klutch 2

I’ll be getting the Atlas limited edition

  • mac long

Can I pre-order the digital pro version on my Xbox one yet?

    • https://www.youtube.com/user/LunatikToonFL4W LunatikThaGOD

just check the online store but I am sure you can

  • abdul-wahab hawsawi

I think I will cancel my pre-order ( the original one ) to get the digital pro edition
    Because it’s more valuable.

I will wait for the MP reveal.

  • http://www.callofdutyview.net/ Dragon

Hey look – the PC gets to pick from one version like always…. wahoo…

    • https://www.youtube.com/user/LunatikToonFL4W LunatikThaGOD

      I feel for you guys

  • HenryDF

Do we still get the Advanced Arsenal if we preorder one of these editions?

    • http://www.youtube.com/user/CampyElite CampyElite

      yes

  • Swegger

If I pre-order the digital version for PS3 will it still come with the advanced arsenal pack?

    • https://www.youtube.com/user/LunatikToonFL4W LunatikThaGOD

      yes

  • xxYoLoSwAg420kushsexmoneyymanX

So, I’m curious as to why the Xbox 360 version of the Digital pro version isn’t up yet. Any answers? I’m assuming it just hasn’t been set up with retailers yet, bbut anything could happen.

    • https://www.youtube.com/user/LunatikToonFL4W LunatikThaGOD

I really hope the limited editions are not just for next gen. They would lose so much money by not allowing us to buy the limited editions as I bet more copys will be sold on current gen

  • LovekillerX

Anyone know the Atlas Pro edition’s price in EU? I live in this expensive area so it doesn’t cost any near than in US. I have tried to check the internet but nobody seems to know it. Usually they just replace $ icon to € so it would cost like 119,99 euros which is quite expensive right?

If anyone could tell me what the price could be in EU? I would be grateful. There isn’t retailers yet in my country for Atlas Pro edition.

    • https://www.youtube.com/user/LunatikToonFL4W LunatikThaGOD

£99.99 for the atlas pro edition and £69.99 atlas limited edition. Them prices are from GAME in the uk hope it helps

      • LovekillerX

99 British pounds = 124 euros. I knew it. It costs way too much and that’s why I will preorder some other edition. Europeans are so unlucky because they always get the most expensive prices. :(

        • https://www.youtube.com/user/LunatikToonFL4W LunatikThaGOD

For sure I feel for you guys, maybe just order from the uk instead, not sure if that will work

  • SweetShoreGamer

It sucks the fact that the limited edition and other editions are not available on 360 :/ only next gen

  • Fariko Lunatik

So the limited editions will not be coming to Xbox 360 or Ps3? Or could it still happen? anybody know?

  • Jmlafey

The only thing that’s good with free fall is that it supports campers thumbs down
