The fourth and final DLC pack for Call of Duty: Ghosts, Nemesis, is now available on PlayStation Network for both PS4 and PS3. Nemesis brings four multiplayer maps and Episode 4: Exodus for Extinction.

If you own the Season Pass, the DLC is available for download via the in-game store. If you don’t own the Season Pass, the DLC can be purchased on the PSN Store or the in-game store for $14.99. Nemesis DLC will be available later today for PC gamers on Steam.

Nemesis DLC includes:

Multiplayer Maps:

  • “Goldrush” is set in an abandoned gold mine in the Southwest United States, where an intricate network of cavernous tunnels and perilous shafts create the ideal setting for medium to long range combat; while two mine carts race along the abandoned tracks offering players a fast way to traverse the map. Players who complete the unique field order on Goldrush will unleash a howling pack of wolves that will descend upon their enemies.
  • “Subzero” drops players into a frigid Canadian submarine base that has been hastily evacuated, with control room, submarine pen and research facilities all left eerily empty. Built around the traditional three-lane design, this medium-sized map harbors a mysterious terror that will decimate your enemies upon completion of the map’s unique field order.
  • In “Dynasty,” players are transported to a lakeside Chinese village surrounded by picturesque mountains, vivid gardens, and spectacular architecture – a serene environment that is anything but Zen-like. Multiple pathways crisscross the village in this medium map with a variety of elevation and numerous back alleys that create flanking routes. The unique field order on “Dynasty” allows players to call in an air strike of vertical takeoff fighter jets, while one lingers behind to give you unmatched air superiority.
  • “Showtime,” a sadistic reimagining of the smallest map in Call of Duty® history, the fan favorite map from Call of Duty® 4: Modern Warfare® “Shipment.” In the futuristic arena of “Showtime,” blind corners and narrow pathways provide momentary reprieve from the outright mayhem within the central square comprised of several shipping containers. Tight confines call for shotguns and SMGs. Survive long enough to be rewarded with one of three killstreaks: lethal automated gun turrets at key locations on the map, an air drop with multiple care packages or a deadly gas attack that forces the action back into the center of the arena.

Extinction:

  • Episode 4: Exodus.” Following the CIF Unit’s harrowing escape from the alien underworld and the successful recovery of Dr. Cross and the cortex, the team has flown in to fight off the Cryptid army’s siege of the last bastion of human resistance. Your mission is to get key personnel to safety by restoring power to the shuttle and launching the shuttle to a low earth orbit space station. “Episode 4: Exodus” gives players unprecedented control of their escape route – choose your path, gather new intel, craft new weapons – and introduces the deadliest of enemies with a range of lethal powers, including mind control and psionic attacks – the Ancestors. As the battle for our survival draws to a close, the fate of mankind is in your hands.

Nemesis DLC is the final DLC pack for Call of Duty: Ghosts and is now available on Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS4, PS3, and PC.

  • Personally I think Call of Duty: Ghosts was a step back for the franchise but that’s purely my opinion, I found Black Ops 2 much more fun and packed full of more features that for whatever reason didn’t make a return in Ghosts, it seems Infinity Ward don’t have the same amount of ambition and risk taking as Treyarch do. Features like the awesome Emblem Editor, League Play, Theater Mode, Scorestreaks, Pick 10, Campaign Create-A-Class, Strike Force Missions, and of course… Zombies! Miss all of that at least Advanced Warfare is at least bringing back Scorstreaks and Pick 10 as Pick 13, might even get some other of those very missed features in there too hopefully!

    • Black Ops 2 did things mostly right, but there were still some issues ie the streaks being a bit too powerful, OP pistols, and a zombie mode which I personally found too boring.

Ghosts had its issues as well, but people seem to over-bloat those issues as if it were a trend to be a part of. To be honest, Ghosts had great connections, an awesome ranking system via Create-a-Soldier, weaker streaks so that gun-on-gun is more prelevant, and Extinction far exceeds Zombies mode by a landslide due to the originality and fast pace of the mode itself.

In addition, I would rather play Ghosts over most Call of Duty games (Black Ops 2 being slightly ahead of it), especially if it means avoiding some broken games ie MW2 and MW3.

      • I agree 100% with all of that, I think the Extinction vs. Zombies is just a matter of personal preference, Ghosts did a lot of things right I just feel it missed some popular features that Black Ops 2 and past Call of Duty games had, and I agree both MW2 and MW3 are broke, I’m looking forward to Advanced Warfare it seems to have a lot of features I’ve missed plus some new ones like Support Drops that look like a really interesting addition to progression!

BOII had a list of things wrong with it in terms of MP:

        -Quickscoping
-Pistols (B23R and KAP 40, notably)
        -LMGs/Target Finder LMGs
        -Remington 870
        -Holy Trinity [Critical] Perks
        -Shock Grenades
        -Target Finder

        • BO2 was the most troll friendly CALL of DUTY of all time, I say this for being myself a card-carrying troll, which abused that freaking deadly combination: ballistic vest + combat knife + electric charge + claymore. Hue Hue Hue Hue BR… way of living!

        • Mr_ysi42t96

All of these things u mentioned is on ghosts but done even worse

          • Brady the Defiled (sillibk)

I don’t see quickscoping in Ghosts. The Tracker Sight is a lot less powerful than the Target Finder. But both are awful and unbalanced.

      • Mr_ysi42t96

Killstreaks boring in ghosts, dog can take more bullets than humans do, ttk is short and whoever shoots first is the winner, this requires zero skills, extinction is basically special ops but with aliens, zombies much more fun, u can unlock any weapon at any level with squad points which makes the game boring and not as much excited as the old ranking system when u unlock weapons, this game is far way back, BO2 much ahead of it not slightly -_-

        • Diego Diniz

Sorry my bad english cause im brazilian, but you talk like you are not a COD Player. Dog is a KILLSTREAK…and killstreaks must be a little “overpowered” because you fight to it. The Dog is pretty balanced to be a killstreak.

          • whoa

No it’s overpowered the second it kills you when the lunge animation is still not finished, and cant take more bullets than a human with ballistic vest on.

      • Siftblade of Rivia

I don’t think BO2 streaks were OP. There was a counter to all of them and some weren’t even effective depending on the map.

    • Kaharad

Ghosts is generally weaker, I agree. I think IW got caught up in the potential of the “next gen” (really current gen) consoles and had too many ideas for the game. It has also not been helped by daft decisions such as not having pc access to manage clans, etc. It is telling that yesterday I checked Ghosts and BO2 – there were 45,000 ( roughly) online playing Ghosts but 77,500 playing BO2.

    • Brady the Defiled (sillibk)

I don’t think it’s an opinion. I think it’s fact. I disagree with you in terms of Black Ops II. BOII was NOT a fun game imo. It was too rage-inducing, and I didn’t think League Play was a good feature. The Emblem Editor/Theater Mode are both from BO1. I DID like the other things, though. Scorestreaks ruined TDM, though.

      • Bravo

BOII is More fun than CampingGhost.

        • QuickzZ-_-GhosT

But atleast Ghosts doesn’t have tremendous amounts of quickscopers, pistols more powerful than AR’s and SMG’s and bad connections.

          • Baldmanz_RAGE

Even with all of that BO2 was still more fun to play than Ghosts!! Who cares if the guns are more balanced and the connection is better if all people do is sound whore and sit in corners. How is that fun. That’s right it’s not!!

          • QuickzZ-_-GhosT

OK,maybe Black ops 2 is more fun to play than Ghosts, but it still can be very frustrating moving around and a guy kills you with a sniper without you even have time to react. The target finder was terrible,I even found campers in RAID,with f*cking shcok charges all over the place, using LMG’s with guess what,Target Finders!Oh and those connections were horrible,I don’t even remember having lag in Ghosts.Black ops 2=fun;Ghosts=balance.There’s the truth.

        • Brady the Defiled (sillibk)

          Both are awful.

          • kyr95

I liked the campaign though in BO2…( runs away! 😛 )

          • Brady the Defiled (sillibk)

I’m glad you can have Create-a-Class in the Campaign again on AW.

          • kyr95

Also, earn points to upgrade the exo 😉

        • Lord Mannyrossa

LOL yes because certainly no one camped in BO2. People did nothing but headglitch windows and barrels all day in BO2. BO2 was a little more fun that Ghosts in total but that in no way makes it a good game. It is like saying getting punched in the nuts is better than getting kicked in the nuts. It is better. However, it doesn’t really make one good and one bad. They both still suck. BO2 is a piece of lagging garbage. Ghosts was just a snooze fest.

    • fires

might be me picking, but zombies is pure preference, emblem creation was a treyarch thing, IW did clever titles and emblems. and theater mode was removed for the VASTLY SUPERIOR connection in ghosts. ghosts was good, but it was boring, and shite with the shitty community we have.

  • Brady the Defiled (sillibk)

    Bring on AW.

  • Kaharad

Hmmm, not letting me download Nemesis without paying for it, despite the system (both through the store and through the game) acknowledging that I have the Season Pass. I have installed the available update and restarted my machine, etc. Does the Season Pass dlc usually become available later than the paid for download? I am on earlier than usual, but this seems a bit of a pain.

    • Ech!

Odd… probably best to wait it out, it’ll work eventually.

As for me, i’m about four hours until the 5TH where i’m living and nothing. I hate time zones…

      • Kaharad

Just became available at 12:54pm gmt, Oh well, let’s see how these maps play out as we wait for AW to drop.

    • Simon

Nope, there’s never been this problem before. Probably won’t be up today then.

    • lars

      same here……

  • Max Martinez

I would get it, but Minecraft on PS4 is coming out today.

  • RdJokr

DLC season for Ghosts is finally over… Bring on AW please!

  • I_HAV2_POOP

SO EXCITED TO HEAR MORE ABOUT COD GHOSTS…….SAID NOBODY EVER!!!

    • sonichu lover

I did, ghosts had some legit good maps, and the game is fun as hell. Too bad their technical support was garbage. i wont forget my exclusive unlocks disappearing on me and to this day, my season pass has me downloading my dlc, except for nemesis, each and everytime, if it only takes. What’s with all the hate ghosts get?

      • I_HAV2_POOP

There’s to much to list, some maps were good but for the most part the game got old and was garbage. I have maybe 2 days playing time compared to the 20 plus days playing time on the other COD

      • MichiganerE

        Fun as hell? Lolwut?

  • Antal120

I won’t miss you Call of Duty Ghosts 😀

  • FeboooH

This will be the first mappack i won’t be buying. and I bought everything since the first mappack for black ops 1.
I’m not interested in any of these maps. the only reason I bought the previous packs was because Extinction, but even that doesn’t look fun…
IW really fucked up this year…

  • modernpoika

Finally. No more Ghosts. AW is on it’s way…

  • Siftblade of Rivia

I was always so excited for BO2 DLC and I couldn’t wait. With Ghosts I was just kinda like, “It’s about time.” Meh, maybe it’s just because BO2 had zombies. That was by far the best part of a DLC release.

    • Sal

Zombies was the only good thing about BO2. Hell once I hit Prestige Master and diamonded shotguns, rifles and SMGs I left the MP.

I only played Zombies for the whole two final months.

      • yoyo

        congrats…?

  • J4MES

Hooray! The end of COD Ghosts is near. On PC; definitely the worst game I’ve ever played. The base game was horrific and despite some DLC maps salvaging a little bit of quality; it is definitely the worst in the series and IW should be ashamed of themselves. Roll on Advanced Warfare – 2 months to go!

    • Sal

      One year later:

“AW is garbage copypasted from Titanfall, Ghosts was way better”

Just like every year and i’m gonna take screenshots to prove

      • MichiganerE

Ghosts on PC has awful optimization. Besides, if AW sucks, I won’t go back to Ghosts and say it was better, i’ll go back to CoD 4, WaW, MW2, BO1 and BO2.

        • Diego Diniz

This makes me buy a PS4 and play COD on consoles! Ghosts on PC is DEAD! But console players buy new DLCs and I play everyday. I like Ghosts (DLC maps).

          • MichiganerE

I hate Ghosts, but even I can admit that the DLCs are amazing.

  • About time it arrived, after this and two more clan wars Ghosts are going to be pretty much dead to me.

    • Sal

Ghosts was ruined by the community more than any other game.

  • R.I.P

    Call of duty: Ghosts

    2013-2014

    OD on failure
    Preferably suicide

“It’s time to earn the mask.”

  • StrayHeart93

I played 20 seconds of the new dlc …

then I gave up and uninstalled it

  • hungryandrew

Yea and once AW comes out, you guys will shoot loads for Ghosts.

  • FazalGaming

I downloaded Nemesis on PS4 and now it won’t let me online because I require PS Plus and I had PS Plus before I downloaded it and it doesn’t expire un till February????

    • NeoPlays

Same her. Does that sometimes. It’s just really annoying that it had to happen now

  • Diego Diniz

    PSN down…AGAIN!!!

  • was it necessary to re-post the trailer to youtube? Like, callofduty already posted it, no reason to post it again for ps3 users to see.

    • Whoa

Why not? That way the information can be spread faster as it is seen across more videos.

  • jordan hulett

I just got this dlc with my season pass and I cant find the maps anywhere not in the online playlist or in private match. last time this happen I had to completely delete the entire DIGITAL GAME and re download it just to play with all the dlc i had bought. its getting annoying i am on ps4. If anyone has a solution to this please help

  • Diego Diniz

I think Advanced Warfare will be like Black Ops 2 and I dont like it. I prefer Ghosts (DLC Maps)…not the standard maps…but DLC maps are Great! Departed, Mutiny and MW2 remakes are so good to play.

  • Diego Diniz

I like Infinity Ward COD more than Treyarch and Sledgehammer. Cmon guys, COD4 and MW2 is a LOT LOT LOT LOT better than MW3 (worst COD ever), World at War (horrible) and Black Ops 2. Im afraid advanced warfare EXACTLY because Sledgehammer did on MW3. That game sucks!

    • Jon

      you are such and ass

  • Lord Mannyrossa

I had season pass and didn’t even download the last two packs. I prefered to save the HD space. I didn’t loathe Ghosts like others, but I was max prestige in about 2 months. The patches weren’t that hard to get so I had pretty much all of them. There was nothing to play for really. The game wasn’t all that great so replaying it just wasn’t all that thrilling.

Once the community started to leave, finding lobbies was nigh on impossible. Especially late at night. By the second map pack I’d wait 20 minutes at some hours just to get into a lobby. Not worth it.

I learned my lesson. No map pack for me this time until I get some indication that people will actually be populating it. I think part of it was also the PSN revolt against the delayed release as well. If you are going to delay the DLC, at least make it worth the wait for a game that is similarly worth the wait.
