    Me waiting for PC updates….

    • Primey_

If you’re waiting for what pc specific features it will have then I doubt they’ll reveal anything. The most we’ll get is the minimum and recommended requirements and that will be sometime late october IMO

    • Kurama The Nine-Tailed Fox

Infinity Ward made Ghosts on PC bad on purpose so the game is more popular on the 4 consoles it released on. The same thing will probably happen with Advanced Warfare.

  • Mitch Barnett

Expected but Hopefully the game will be ready this time round unlike ghosts.

    • Gump

Why did you like your own comment?

      • Mitch Barnett

        Because I liked it

  • jordanxbrookes

I want to see the pro players play Uplink. It’s a great new mode that should be used, like how in Black Ops 2, Hardpoint was used, or how in Ghosts, Blitz was used.

    • cRi7iCaL

Depends on how the players decide. It’s almost certain that next to SnD, Hardpoint and CTF will return. Including a 4th mode could bring some problems. Which modes are played in a BO3? What’s the tie braker for a BO5? What if one mode is not played but is known as Team Xs strongest mode?
It will surely creates a new meta and more excitement but there’s a lot of room for discussions a la “What if…?”

      • jordanxbrookes

When it was announced that Dead Silence wasn’t in the game, a lot of shoutcasters like Benson and Hastr0 said that Search and Destroy could be taken out *eSport logic*, but who knows? Just liked to see the Uplink mode used for competitive.

  • VVFZ

Woooo I’m not banned anymore but half my posts were deleted :/

  • Primey_

Hopefully MLG will have the perk/equipment/weapon bans issued before the event or this is going to not be competitive at all. On top of that players will still be learning the ins and outs so I feel whoever wins can’t exactly brag about it

    • People, Look Things Up!

If tK announces they’re going, I’m buying a ticket that minute ?

    • cRi7iCaL

I guess the obvious perks/weapons/grenades are banned right away.

      • Primey_

I hope. MLG take a while to ban things.

  • Meh.

  • curi0us

Now comes the question of what system it will be played on.

I imagine 360 since it will be the last 360 COD since in 2016 the 360 will no longer have Xbox Live.

    • J4MES

Bad troll. Even upvoting your own post to seem credible LMAO!

      • curi0us

And how is it a bad troll? 360 is losing support for Xbox Live in 2016. And since COD releases in November, there would be no reason for a developers to even bother releasing another COD on 360 in 2015.

    • Cashie

LOL either stupid or terrible troll!

    • Joe

They’ve switched to Xbox One sine early this year for COD Champs. So Xbox One.

  • J4MES

Am I the only one who has absolutely no interest in MLG/eSports/1337 whatsoever?

It’s not even a sport for frock sake!

    • jordanxbrookes

That’s why it’s an “eSport” and not a “Sport”.

    • Dean Cowan

definition of sport: an activity involving physical exertion and/or skill involving an individual or team competing against eachother for their entertainment and/or others entertainment. So no, it is a sport. Saying that eSports isn’t a sport is like saying chess, MotoGP or curling aren’t sports.

      • J4MES

COD isn’t really physical. It’s not a very healthy medium either. Something I would usually associate with a sport. eSports is more of a brand than a classified past-time.

        • Dean Cowan

That’s why I said and/or. and there’s plenty of sports that aren’t healthy. I’m not saying that I like eSports, mainly cod eSports. because the people who do it are complete tools. (Lookin’ at you nadeshot) but passing it off as not a real sport is just plain wrong.

          • J4MES

The head of eSports has said it isn’t a sport and is more of a competition instead which I fully agree with him on that. I know many modern terminologies have changed but the core aspect of a typcial sport is still retained in its old meaning and not any new found purpose for it. If it was a sport; it wouldn’t have the ‘E’ hallmark prior. eSports is just a fad saying which is more central to brand recognition that a sole entity activity.

      • Sholly

Chess is a BOARD GAME. MotoGP is a physically demanding SPORT which is OUTSIDE the house. Curling is a SPORT because it demands physical precision and raw STRENGTH. It also takes place on a rink where ICE HOCKEY (SPORT) is played. Stop trying to justify eSports as a sport. It’s not and never will be. It may make fat kids and bedroom no lifers feel better but people playing 8 hours a day thinking it’s a sport could put themselves at severe risk health wise. This guy died playing for shorter intervals than the pro guys http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2020462/Xbox-addict-20-killed-blood-clot-12-hour-gaming-sessions.html

        • Dean Cowan

Chess is played as a sport at a professional level, and the justification that it takes place where another sport is just wrong. You could play chess anywhere, you could play cod anywhere aslong as there’s electrics and internet etc. etc. and also “It’s not and will never be” Really? because I’m pretty it is already. MLG are buying a arena for it, and another company is buying stadium for it. Please explain to me why you think eSports can’t be “a real sport”

          • Sholly

Funny how the head of ESPN which is the showcase to ‘eSports’ has declared it NOT a sport then http://www.forbes.com/sites/insertcoin/2014/09/07/espn-boss-declares-esports-not-a-sport/

eSport is a brand and a not very healthy one at that either. You also can’t play COD anywhere. Who the hell takes an Xbox in their gym bag out, wonders around to find a plug, TV and wireless internet? To justification is laughable.

          • cnnjones

is the manager of a professional football team playing a sport, or are the players playing a sport.

because when you play chess, you’re basically taking the role of a head coach, or a general on a battlefield.

now, in fps video games, you’re transporting yourself into a virtual suit or armour, or character, and transporting yourself into a virtual sports field or environment.

it’s really more like playing paintball in an action movie environment.

imagine you can play paint ball, with a realistically handling paint ball gun, but instead of paint it shoots holographic “bullets”, and when it hits your opponent, they don’t die, just blood squibs and packs explode, and you get a point.

then they have to leave the playing field, reset their blood packs and start from their bench again.

that’s basically fps, but in a virtual world and you’re wearing a virtual costume.

that’s why those idiots who play as women, are basically wearing a girl costume in a virtual setting.

a little bit disturbing to say the least.

      • James Veach

“and/or skill involving an individual or team competing against eachother for their entertainment and/or others entertainment.”
“and/or skill involving an individual or team competing against eachother for their entertainment”
“and/or skill involving an individual or team”
        “and/or skill involving”
        “and/or skill”
        “and/or”
        “/or”
        “or”
Thank you for defining that esports are a sport! Great job buddy!

        • Dean Cowan

He said he didn’t think they’re sports so I gave him facts to prove that they are sports. Is that not aloud anymore? Presenting facts to prove people wrong? Idiot.

          • James Veach

I’m the idiot…..You cannot even comprehend how dumb you made yourself look with that single post.

          • Dean Cowan

So explain why I can’t try and prove someone wrong, and how doing so makes me dumb?

    • Cashie

eSports ruined CoD. Most of the players in it only started playing the series when MW2 was out. Even one of the idiots thought MW2 was the first ever Call of Duty. Now the devs are building the game to suit them; 99.8% of the market has to live with bad game design to accommodate minority ‘pro’ players.

Games like CSGO were built primarily for competitive play and players that play it are all highly skilled competition players. CoD used to be a casual and fun experience but now they’ve zapped the fun to make it a eSport title purely at the expense of the majority market.

Shame Sledgehammer would rather cater towards the commercial side as opposed the the fans. I hate the new look Infinity Ward as they don’t care about the game but at least they stick their middle fingers up to the eSports peeps in the process. Treyarch and now Sledgehammer are driving millions of people away because of bad game design and shallow gameplay.

      • Primey_

“Now the devs are building the game to suit them;”

All the previous Call of duty games have had things banned. These things were added to make the game more “fun” for people who aren’t interested in eSports. Advanced Warfare is the same, there’s tons of stuff in it which MLG will probably ban.

IW, Treyach and now SHG have put plenty of silly stuff in their games. They are NOT designed for eSports, MLG needing to ban a lot of stuff is proof of this.

“99.8% of the market has to live with bad game design to accommodate minority ‘pro’ players.”

Even though I disagree with the previous statement this quote is utter bullshit. Even if the developer made it the way Pros want they want a balanced game which is fun. Making a more balanced game is NOT bad game design.

“Shame Sledgehammer would rather cater towards the commercial side as opposed the the fans.”

Yeah shame on them seeing the Potential of eSports and what money it can bring in. How dare they act like a company who is looking to turn a profit.

      • James Veach

The commercial side would be the majority not the minority you fucking twit.

      • cnnjones

the “creative” director is at fault, because if you don’t realize you can’t play baseball or football in a hockey rink, then you’ll never be able to design a good map, or virtual gaming field.

second, if you design your whole game around the one guy who sits in a corner of the map in a room, trying to stop him, you’ll lose focus of what the spirit of the game is supposed to be about.

it’s not call of duty: stop the camper.

even then, finding a camper and going after him is one of the fun things to do in call of duty. tossing in 5 stun and flash grenades, then a bunch of grenades, smoke etc and getting him is fun.

but, if you do that, then you get smoked because he’s not in there, he’s on a ledge waiting for you to take you out, then that wasn’t a camper, that was a good player who out played you.

and the problem with epsorts is the maps, pure and simple, call of duty isn’t running around non stop, then complainingg someone was waiting for you to run into him.

he’s not camping, you’re just playing bad. and to design a map, around those whiners, and bad players, who just want to run around non stop, is catering to the 1% of players who don’t have a clue on how to play a military shooter.

and using ali a and drifter, who barely know how to play, to help you design a game, when they’re no different than the million other call of duty players, is ridiculous.

and the “pro” players, don’t care about gameplay, they care about getting the most points, winning and getting the cash as fast as possible.

they aren’t examples on how to play, because they’re playing for prize money.

don’t be cheap, spend some money, and make call of duty: esports edition, it’s a game after all, and cater to those who want to play like that.

call of duty, what made it the most popular game ever, was mw, mw2, and blops, i.e. not esports focused.

    • Primey_

It’s ok you’re allowed to swear on the Internet.

      • J4MES

Are you flipping serious? I thought it was a bullpoo wild rumour;-)

    • Edwin Cortez

I enjoy watching it and playing a little bit if it once in a while. But I dont like that sport tag they put to it, even if it’s eSport. Its a competition but not a sport, the only videogame that i would consider a sport if played competitively were those arcade dance games.

  • So is this a fuck your family event or what?People usually stay a couple of days with their families so this is like a eat and leave type thing lmao

  • QuickzZ-_-GhosT

I wonder what they re going to ban this year …The exo abilities ? Danger Close and toughness ? Or the exo concept himself ?

    • jordanxbrookes

The exo-suits will be part of MLG, guarantee it. But some Exo-Abilities like Cloak or Stim will definitely/most likely be banned.

      • People, Look Things Up!

I hope so, really looking forward to a fun season on Gamebattles this game

      • QuickzZ-_-GhosT

Yeah it would be dumb to not include the exos since it s the biggest CHANGE in the franchise for years. But you know how it works, they ban so many ridiculous things.

    • cRi7iCaL

Of course things are going to be banned. I just can’t understand the toxic behavior against the bans in professional matches. It doesn’t really affect anyone but competitive players and the items that are banned are banned for a good reason. If something doesn’t require a certain amount of skill to use it’s going to be banned. PERIOD

      • QuickzZ-_-GhosT

Yea I can understand that they bann necessary things but they also exagerate sometimes on banning stuff like stalker in Ghosts.

        • cRi7iCaL

It was banned for good. The ARs were superior to any weapon class with stalker equipped. You basically had the agility of an SMG and the range of an AR, which doesn’t benefit the game.

          • jordanxbrookes

Same with Quickdraw though, you have an AR that has the aim time of an SMG, but that wasn’t banned.

          • QuickzZ-_-GhosT

Don t forget ready up.If they ban stalker (which isn t that OP) why not ready up ?

          • jjj

            but stalker >>>>>> quickdraw

          • QuickzZ-_-GhosT

That depends entirely on the player moves and reflexes.

          • QuickzZ-_-GhosT

Okay I agree with you on that, but if they are PROS can t they counter AR s with the stalker ? But since they play Search & destroy the most I understand it.

  • People, Look Things Up!

Any news on the Mtn Dew and Doritos stuff? The website where you put the codes is down and the Activision support page was taken down for it….I already bought all the stuff except for the game with Doritos and mtn dew because it not out yet

    • Are the special marked packs for Mountain Dew and Doritos out yet?

      • People, Look Things Up!

Yep, I already bought the 12pack, 24pack mountain dew the 3 doritos cool ranch, nacho cheese in large and 3.38oz but the code website is down and the support page got removed…

        • I’ve been looking for them, nothing around where I live yet.

        • Sholly

Waste of money and bad for your health all for the sake of a few in-game perks which mean nothing. Activision has you wrapped round their fingers.

          • People, Look Things Up!

Oh well, I love CoD and I like collecting this loot and gear, so to me now a waste, that’s your opinion

          • Ryumoau

completely agree. I don’t need double xp that badly.

  • kplem

    eCancer strikes again

    • Primey_

How is it cancer? Let people play however they want to. It’s not effecting you. You don’t need to watch it or even acknowledge it yet you do acknowledge it.

      • jordanxbrookes

It doesn’t affect anyone, until competitive players cry over a weapon claiming it’s “OP” even though it isn’t, and then it gets nerfed. The Bizon for example, got slightly buffed, made the weapon pretty decent to use, but it wasn’t “OP” at all, but because competitive players cried about it, the Bizon got nerfed, and now it’s useless most of the time.

        • Primey_

It was extremely OP in the hands of good players

          • jordanxbrookes

It wasn’t OP in the hands of any players, the weapon was only good in close quarters, and because competitive players play on small-medium size maps, in their mind, it was classed as “OP”.

        • James Veach

The bizon got set back after its damage range was increased???

      • Marky

Most of the patches and nerfs is down to eSports players crying because they are immature bad losers. The devs panic and think everyone hates something so they end up tweaking the game and ruining it for everyone because some kid had a hissy fit about getting killed. The devs only seem to listen to the pro side of the community instead of the collective and majority side. COD 4 was not nerfed once but as soon as the MLG crew got their hands on MW2; they kept plying the devs for fixes that didn’t need to be done.

        • Primey_

The nerfs help the game but. If one gun is OP sure they complain but that overall helps the game. Do people not want a balanced game? Where’s the fun in one op gun and all the rest being shit?

      • kplem

calling it cancer because it is something annoying that keeps coming
back. MLG is a joke and should stay on LOL, MLG ruined cod, BO2 as well as ghosts are a prime example those games were built for MLG, the 99% of the community was ignored and was slapped in the face because treyarch was sucking nadeshot’s dick and slapping the community in the face. i wish you were right about *letting them play* but my concern is the Fucking devs dont give a slight shit about the public and constantly catering to these nerds and slapping the community in the face. look at MW2 COD 4 etc very popular and fun without MLG thats what i loved about the old IW cared about the community and cared about fun NOT about these nerds. COD 4 MW2 stayed relevant without MLG i remember MW2 didnt go below 100,000 players till BO1 (XBOX) so dont use the excuse that MLG makes cod still relevant because maybe it does to maybe 2% of the community. thats my main problem with MLG, its we who pay their bills for their game get constantly screwed while these pricks get everything which is sad because cod has never been about competitive (MLG wise) more on fun go to Counter strike for that. well the game can be taking into a competitive point but not to nerdish MLG point. and yeah its affecting me BIG time same as Plenty of other people because its slowly killing a once great franchise. yeah i acknowledge and mention it because its a maybe bloody issue with the game and its affected 99% of the community’s gaming experience because of a bunch of cry baby nerds. MLG killed halo COD is next if they keep this up. im hoping respawn brings out a game exactly like COD 4 and MW2 without the cod name and destroy this shit without MLG implemented like they did with MW2 COD 4 just FUN, See MW2 full of bullshit still the most funnest and best cod to date. BTW if SO MANY people complain about something in the game e.g. SNIPING in bo2 and nothing happens, if some MLG nerd says something like the KAP-40 is bad they will nerf it which they did. im getting less excited and have less hope for this game because of the news on fucking Major cancer of gaming AGAIN. another funny fact MLG nerds dont even play the full game they bitch and ban everything while we have to deal with all the bullshit. so in conclusion fuck MLG call of duty was never about competitive like MLG it was competitive like winning a game of TDM or DOM but they have sucked the fun out of it and catered to these fucking dogs and are shooing away all their hardcore fans im so happy AW it doing absolute dog shit in pre orders no hype no one gives a fuck their pre orders arent even 400,000 total (which ghosts had 416,000+ alone on xbox 360 around this time which is laughable considering ghosts was one of the worst sold cods since [email protected]) this time on BO2 (which BO2 killed the franchise with its MLG dick sucking) had like 1.5 M MW3 has about 2 million, same as MW2 BO1 has so many now, AW is failing so bad and im enjoying it, this franchise will die so quick if they keep this up. A once AMAZING FUN experience killed by Major Cancer of Gaming. MLG belongs on games like CSGO and LoL since those games were built on competitive and are loved for their competitive nature, Call of Duty was NEVER loved from a competitive standpoint like MLG it was loved for its fun and fast run n gun arcade gameplay with kickass killstreaks. thanks MLG you fucking cancer you destroyed HALO now COD thanks you dogs. rant over.

        • Primey_

Jesus christ man. Paragraphs are your friend.

          • kplem

had to get it out man its the truth

          • Colin MacKenzie

If you think Ghosts was designed for MLG, you are sorely mistaken. Every eSports competitor out there is LIVID about playing Ghosts, especially when they play on the circuit for a whole year.

          • kplem

my whole point is that’s all IW gave a fuck about same goes for treyarch

          • Colin MacKenzie

I’ll concede that Treyarch is a company driven by it, and by the looks of it Sledgehammer is too. IW on the other hand didn’t dedicate their game by design to the eSports crowd. My complaint is their step backwards in pubs progression by bringing back Danger Close, the most horrific spawning system to date (equal to Treyarchs’ Nuketown trap) and the buffs to explosives when the game launched. The last thing I wanted to play in Ghosts was a game that had every noob on the planet running C4/Danger Close or IED/Danger Close while camping. In all honesty, that’s why I appreciate the eSports playlists more and I appreciate companies that offer them. They remove dumb explosive objects in the game that ANYONE (including completely new people playing the game) could use, and instead force players to play at a competitive level where the only way to win is to shoot accurately and work as a team. If those values were available on a regular basis in pubs, I’d play pubs more often.

          • kplem

that might be true they did pretty shit version BUT that’s all they care about yet still failed. so in conclusion they failed both communities, BTW its sad what treyarch and sledgehammer is done, AW already confirmed MLG event AW dead to the 99% already (hopefully im wrong). i get what you’re saying but i wouldnt care what MLG does if the pubs wernt frequently fucked over by money hungry devs that dont know what they are doing

          • Guest

If you honestly believe that Ghosts was “built around competitive”…

  • I really love hitmarkers,420 Snoop Dogg,360s and getnoscoped kid. Hope that someone with great sense of sarcasm will make some new vids of this so called esports.

    • Dean Cowan

      Wow, that’s sooooooooooooooooooooooooo funny…

  • meow

is kinda annoying because we all know that the “pros” are currently playing the shit out of this and probably have been for a while now..

  • Stefan Lang

Lol they gotta change this date. People are gonna be with their families for God’s sake!.

  • Ryumoau

I can’t wait! Advanced Warfare will be such a breath of fresh air for the e-sports community, after how boring Ghosts must have been to play for an entire year.

  • James Veach

When I play ghosts and ask people why they feel the game is bad. They say things like amplify, IEDs, shields with radar, poor map design, etc. Do you want to know what no one has ever told me? “They’re catering towards pro players.” Do you know why??? Because the pro players don’t support any of the dumb fucking things that make the games bad. So why do they put those things in the game? Because dumbfucks like you go all around the internet like, “Errmahhguud slegehammer aka illuminati needs to stop licking pro but hole ermagurd esports arent sports whaaahhhhhh!!! Rabble Rabble!!!” Then design leads, (NOT FUCKING DEVS) go, “Well now we need to put something in for the everyday people, okay so here’s your gimicks, death streaks, c4s, ieds, claymores, nube tubes, sonic boom, sitrep, amplify, rapid fire, rocket launchers. So all you retards that blame poor games on esport players need to shut the fuck up if you ever would like to see another good balanced cod mp.

  • MrGladiator20

Watching a pointless arguement be like

  • : )

  • jooker-jr

The thing that I hate about COD e-sport is the ban.

If you really want to play cod then play like us

If they complained about something they should patch it not ban it and if they still don’t like it then they have to deal with it ( like 99% of cod players ).

    • godlikeleftnut

the rules are to try and take out unpredictability and involve “skill” as much as possible, though disabling aim assist and no hit markers though walls is apparently too much to handle xD its to implement the players abliltiy to play more then anything.. think of it like all the nerfing in the F1. though i defo agree on patching some things rather then patching (y)

      • godlikeleftnut

        banning * xD

      • jooker-jr

        I see.

I remember that SH said that they want to increase the skill gap in AW so the things they BAN should be removed from the game.

  • meow

if you think eSports ruins games i guess CSGO, dota 2, LOL, quake arena, CoD since the beginning and SC2 are just rubbish games…
