A user has sent us an image of the PlayStation 4 store listing of Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare in the UK. The store listing states that Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare will be a 42.6GB download for PS4 users, compared to the 45.84GB on Xbox One.

The US PlayStation Store has not yet listed a download size for Advanced Warfare.

Pre-download for PS4 is set to start a few days before the November 3rd launch date, but an exact date hasn’t been confirmed from PlayStation yet. Stay tuned for more.

        • Mario Rivera

          Chaosxsilencer

      • jordanxbrookes

Not really new since we saw this from the Advanced Warfare MP Reveal.

        • Dead man 69

          No one catched this though.

          • jordanxbrookes

Actually people did see this during and after the AW MP Reveal.

          • Henrik

Year unknowplayer have a video on all the streaks i AW.

      • Daniel

Im afraid these might be OP streaks

  • TheGamerBeast

XB1 about 46GB, PS4 about 43GB, i have a feeling that AW on PC will be 50 GB

    • oxygen

probably over that because PC should support 4k res textures

      • EuroXMan

        Yeah probably.

      • MichiganerE

I wonder what AW will look like in 4k.

        • blackburnt7

you probably wont be able to play. cuz youre to busy wanking at your screen

          • MichiganerE

Wanking at the resolution of how good it looks? Probably.

  • Willekeurig persoon

    May sound like a stupid question but;
why is there a difference in size between PS4 & XB1?

    • MIKKEtheMIDGET

The game has different graphics on PS4 and XB1. So it makes their sizes differ.

      • justchill1234

so based on the information, will XB1 have better graphics then PS4

        • Not Sure

I have a feeling it has to do with the different RAM on X11 and PS4. Graphics (possibly other than resolution) will be identical on both X11 and PS4.

        • MIKKEtheMIDGET

No, but the codes differ, so it makes them to have different sizes

  • Olaf Marin

    And the xbox360 digital version?

  • Already pre loaded on X1. Seriously the best thing about next gen! On both sides 🙂

    • Willekeurig persoon

I think it’s really odd no-one has found a way to look into the pre loaded files already.
      It just sounds so vulnerable

      • fires

Steam has had pre-loading for much longer, and I havent heard of a way to unlock pre-loaded files on PC, a much easier platform to do it on compared to the consoles

        • Oh wow really? I always assumed PC would only allow pre loading a day or two earlier to stop this. I’m really surprised

          • fires

depends. i remember my friends complaining how South Park: Stick of truth had a game update to install AFTER pre-loading, despite the game not coming out. but usually the prestall is maybe 2 weeks most ive seen?

  • meow

    £55.. ouch :/

    • Aymanizic

You’d think they’d want people to start buying the digital version, yet the prices are just ridiculous lol

      • Joel Bantick

i know its ridiculous you can get it for £40 from amazon

  • Guywithbrains

I had to pay 70 euros in Gamestop for normal edition. They hadn’t a clue about day zero edition. Then I said there is info about it on Call of Duty’s own website. They just checked from their computer that release date is 4th November.

We’ll now we just have to wait. It seems like impossible…

    • Siftblade of Rivia

If you preorder, day zero addition replaces the standard edition pretty much. Or at least it should.

      • Guywithbrains

I pre-ordered from Gamestop. They said I can get the game on November 4th. But they will contact me if I can get it earlier but they had no clue about day zero edition.

        • Siftblade of Rivia

          Weird..

          • damoenjohn

they are dumb then. if you preorder it from gamestop, xbox store, target, wherever, you will guarantee to get it november 3rd. day zero edition replaces standard like siftblade said.

  • Joel Bantick

        • Ascending Legend

Jordan is the guy with the black and yellow picture who has 10 opinions for everything…

          • Joel Bantick

Haha oh yeah I found him

          • jordanxbrookes

What’s the matter? Don’t like my opinions? Well tough.

          • Ascending Legend

Where did i say i didn’t like your opinions?

      • jordanxbrookes

        K.

    • Ryumoau

i like your video, so i’ll subscribe. 🙂

  • Christopher Ricci

yea man they left PC in the dark 100% this time

    • Brady the Defiled (sillibk)

Good, CoD is a console game.

      • Guywithbrains

Agreed. I think nowadays 1/8 plays Call of Duty on PC. Battlefield is the game you play on PC (although I disagree with this one too).

      • jordanxbrookes

It’s amazing how it used to be PC only, now not that many people play CoD on PC compared to the number of people who play CoD on console.

        • Brady the Defiled (sillibk)

          Especially us Americans.

        • Xecho

Oh man I remember CoD use to be big with PC back in the day.

          • jordanxbrookes

            Indeed.

        • Mike

What the hell are you talking about? COD has always been on console as well as being born on the PC. Clearly you only started playing the series from MW2 onwards. PC is the biggest gaming market out there and players have a massive choice of games available and with COD being exceptionally mediocre and dumbed down for kids these days; many PC gamers look to play better games from the vast catalogue elsewhere. The only reason COD is still popular on console is that there is practically no other decent games to play especially on next gen.

          • Nick

What the hell are you talking about? IF he started playing at MW2 it would have been pretty clear there were console versions. The first COD was PC only and wasn’t until much later that it was ported as call of duty classic..

  • CrazyGuy207

I wonder why the size varies, it’s the same game. I’d assume that PS4 would be bigger since the whole 1080p thing but that doesn’t seem to be the case.

    • Vivek patodia

      yeah.For XB1 it is 45+ GB.

  • Ryumoau

I decided to go with the disk version, even though i was tempted to go digital. There have been some psn users who have gotten banned lately for gamesharing, so i don’t wanna bother with digital right now. 🙁

  • EuroXMan

    Ouch….

  • ShankSquadIII

I tweeted you guys with this info last week!
    I included proof also!

  • Best thing about console we do not need to know specs. We know the game will run.

  • AVJ

    Can’t wait!

  • JimmyAliens

Pretty sure this size is for ps3 + ps4 download as you get both. So more likely 60 or 70% of that is actually the size of the ps4 download.
