In the Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 campaign, your soldier can access cybernetic modifications on the battlefield. The Chaos Cybercore abilities focus on throwing the enemy into a state of confusion.

    Furst!

  • Guywithbrains

Pretty cool but I think some of those areas were too open.

    • LovekillerX

I thought the same. I get the idea of making areas more open to have more options to complete the objective. However, those areas indeed seemed to be a little bit too open.

      • Stealthninja808

I still don’t undrstand, why is more content, larger levels, and more freedom within the usual “linear COD series a bad thing. Please explain.

        • Guywithbrains

It usually takes something away from story. Destiny is a good example.

          • Stealthninja808

Ummmm, no. Destiny suffered because of the content Activision cut out of the game. Plus Destiny is in a completely different genre, more of a grindy MMO.
Put it this way, COd developers have always been making COD campaigns, just because we add on a cooperative element does not mean the story will lack, Also, consider that the development time has increased to a 3 year cvyle, roughly 2 and a half years of development time.

      • BradyAlucard[sillibk]

Past games were far too linear. This is vastly superior.

    • Stealthninja808

Isnt that the idea of co-op campaign? We need a bigger “playing space” if there are 4 player. I dont’t undrstand the complaint.

    • RdJokr

Are you kidding? Open area battlefields like this is perfect for co-op. There’s no restriction as to what path you should take, or what guns you can use. You can go CQC on your enemy with shotguns, or you can sit back and provide sniper cover for your teammates. There’s an ideal spot for everything.

Treyarch’s level design is on point with this. I’m so glad we got co-op campaign this year. This is a game-changing design.

      • Stealthninja808

Yeah, I agree what’s the issue?

      • Guywithbrains

I am not trying to say more open space because of co-op is a bad thing. But it is too open for story driven campaign mode. In other words I want it to be more linear because story > gameplay.

        • RdJokr

LOL, no aspect of a game should outweigh the other. For me, it should always be story = gameplay.

Though I do expect the missions to be long, otherwise we won’t get a chance to try out all these cool abilities. This campaign had better be at least 10-11 hours long.

          • LovekillerX

CoD campaign… 10 hours… sounds pretty much just a dream.

          • RdJokr

I can dream, can’t I? They put in that many gameplay feature, the game’s length has gotta be at least that long, so we can try out at least 90% of the shit they put in.

          • MichiganerE

If CoD 1 and 2’s campaigns could both last 8-10, then so can BO3’s. Besides, Treyarch knows how to make long missions considering Big Red One and CoD 3.

        • Stealthninja808

Too open huh, Fallout 4 and Skyrim, Massive open world, and great story building. Size has no connection to story content. You make the assumption that the developers are sacrificing time spent on the story for level design. There is no way to prove your statment, you simply assume its true, but your concern is understanable, considering how tight the development cylce for COD has been in the past.

          • BradyAlucard[sillibk]

How the hell can anyone prefer linearity? Gameplay is always the most important thing in a GAME. It’s not a movie. Past games had boring on-rails segments. They were terrible.

          • Stealthninja808

            I agree

        • BradyAlucard[sillibk]

Lol no. I disagree with that logic completely.

      • BradyAlucard[sillibk]

How can anyone be disappointed with nonlinearity? Past CoD Campaign design is pretty terrible.

      • concerned lonewolf

Can I still play campaign solo if I wish to play so? I mean, is it required to have buddies to play campaign? I’m a lone wolf where ever I go so I just want to solo my Realistic playthrough on campaign. No buddies. Not like Destiny.

        • MichiganerE

Yes, you can play it solo.

        • RdJokr

          I’m sure you can.

      • Corey Hayes

Dont forget…they had 4 player co-op in World at War.

        • RdJokr

Yeah, but it was still developed mainly with 1 player in mind.

          • CoDforever

it was only two players as well if i recall corecctly

    • BradyAlucard[sillibk]

“Too open” is better than being too linear. That’s the best thing for CoD.

  • Stealthninja808

    Second!

  • LEL

wow this game looks ok but not as good as advansed warefar. its like titanfall and halo wich is cool.

  • GTA V

Okay guys Co op campaign. Everyone use their superhero powers and never fire a single bullet.

  • GTA V

Achievement unlocked: no bullets used to complete the 2 minute campaign.

    • RdJokr

Do you ever shut up? So much bitching from a guy who’s “done with COD”.

    • Stealthninja808

Go away, your comments are worthless and illustrate your hate for the game. Great, you hate the game, don’t ruin it for those who enjoy it. Your demeanor is contagious.

      • GTA V

I will reckon anyone in this website in black ops 2.

        • Stealthninja808

You lost me, everyone who likes B02 wants to read hateful spam? Ummm no, A large portion of the B02 community, even the “boots on the ground mvmt” supports this Game. 404Thunder, etc, the community has warmed up to this game, did you read the recent CI article about how BO3 is most anticipated?

          • GTA V

Trash. All paid to brain wash you retardo. Good luck

          • ToonToons22

And you deleted your own comment because you were taking too much heat from people who are tired of trolls like you coming on CI to bash Call of Duty ’cause you’ve got nothing else better to do. Who’s the real “retardo?”

          • GTA V

            Wut

  • Diego Diniz

    Campaign…who Cares?
    Hands up…1…2…3….25…ok

    Multiplayer…who cares???
    1.000.000.000 and counting…

    • RdJokr

      Dude. Don’t be a dick.

      • Diego Diniz

        Just Kidding…

    • Aidan

      I love campaign…
      Also, 1,000,000,000…Unlikely.

      • Diego Diniz

So you are the number 24 Guy…

        • Aidan

          Hell yeah.

      • Corey Hayes

If you look at the counter at the bottom of the screen you’ll see about 2.2 million worldwide the 1st few months or so. A counter that for some reason was missing from Advanced Crapfare.

        • Aidan

          That’s cool?
But that number is 1 Billion. That’s why I said unlikely.

          • Corey Hayes

            Wasn’t paying attention!!!

          • Aidan

            ok

    • Slash (SJS)

We care about campaign. It is pretty rude not to play campaign because the developers probably spent most of their developing time it. And for you just not to play it for the heck of it? Pretty rude.

      • Diego Diniz

Imagine a Call of Duty with 100% developing time is spent on Multiplayer…

        • Aidan

          Nope.

        • There would still be just as many people who complain about every little thing lol

  • a_required_field

1:30 cargo from black ops 2

    • Lewis D. Conner

      Its from the campaign.

  • Jay Evan

This is only ONE set out of 5 sets of cybercore abilities. Either there are way too many enemies to fight in the campaign or it’ll be too easy where your gun isn’t even required.

  • Dangelo95

I’m liking what treyarch is doin with the campaign I like the open arena style theyre doing while keeping a story.. If the campaign wasn’t built like this co op would be cluttered especially 4 players this not only allows you to have different ways to play each mission but campaign actually might have replay ability which I really would like to see

  • BradyAlucard[sillibk]

Graphics are on point with Advanced Warfare. They might even be better.
