  1. Great prologue for really promising Zombies. It should always been more story based rather than endless shooting with no purpose at all. But that is only my unpopular opinion.

This week we seem to get more information about Zombies so next up leaks and live streams.

      • When you think about it, the Zombies community is really similar to the Multiplayer community.

The TDM crowd = the “I just wanna kill zombies and get high rounds” crowd.

The OBJ crowd = the “I wanna do story stuff” crowd.

        • I’m mainly a zombies guy and I like getting to high rounds but I love doing the Easter eggs. I’ve done every single one starting black ops 2. That’s when I got really into the Easter eggs. I went back to black ops 1 to complete previous Easter eggs because I found a lot of interest in doing them and it gave more information about the story. I have to say these Easter eggs most of them have been really challenging but it felt very rewarding to experience the buried Easter egg on bo2 especially because you had to complete every other Easter egg to unlock this ultimate one. I saved it on my theater mode I did rictohfens side of the Easter eggs. It was an amazing story like experience. I hope bo3 does something like this that rewards players who do all Easter eggs to unlock a secret story or maybe even a secret rank!

    • Well they kinda started doing that like in the mob and origin easter egg. But the endlessness kind of fits in most parts of the zombies storyline like in bo2’s die rise the intro shows them all fie and then “respawn” plus its more fun if its endless then you can play as long as possible were as in extinction ( which i loved) you had to move at its pace and beat it by a certin round

    • That’s not how it works. Opening doors in Zombies games is merely a gameplay mechanic. Story-wise, you don’t spend points to open doors or barricades, that’s ridiculous.

  2. Is it just me or is this map’s story weaker than others. It’s like as if they are just throwing in all kinds of crap, and trying to mimic a B grade movie that we’ve all already seen. It was slightly painful to watch.

  3. I’m a Treyarch fan. But they haven’t made a great Zombie map and game play since Der Riese and not a decent map since Ascension. Many got close but they just blew it with gimmicks and forced pacing. Nothing has come close to the classic maps. They lost that strategic feel and traded it for the chicken with it’s head cut off pace. I’d settle for even just one new map, setting and characters that played like the classics maps. I remember when you could tell somebody was a pretty good zombie player if they got to 20 rounds on Nacht Der Untoten and 30 on Der Riese. Those days are. Everybody runs around like they’re having a seizure with zero strategy now. That said, I respect a difference of opinions.

  4. why do people hate the new things in games. All they keep asking for is something Treyarch already did and even old. I dont want to keep seeing the old things over and over I want something fresh and original and new. What’s wrong with it? Even WAW or BO1 and 2 had problems and so does any other game! I dont really believe in a “perfect game.”
