  1. yeah R.I.P my internet hopefully there’s a pre-load atleast 4 or 5 days before release day like AW so i can take my time

    • If worse comes to worst, you could always just let your PC run overnight and preload the whole thing.

The worst part of this is when you unlock the preload files though. 60GB could take up nearly an hour. It did for me when I tried to unlock Final Fantasy XIII before.

  2. My computer can easily handle this game maxed out but I still decide to get it on PS4 for the simple reason that Cod on PC has horrible support and lobbies tend to die out quicker than console.

    • And despite the fact that it WAS PC game it has been a console game since Modern Warfare 2.

When it comes to my personal opinion… I prefer to play first person shooters on console.

      • I agree completely. FPS games are better with a controller (IMO). I do like playing Dirty Bomb, Counter Strike, TF2 and Combat Arms with a keyboard and mouse though.

Call of Duty just doesn’t feel good with a Keyboard/Mouse.

        • Sorry but in my opinion, playing an FPS with a controller is like playing with oven mitts. I understand that console is the way to go with COD, but I always buy it on PC because I’m way better with a mouse and the video quality is a lot better. If this game is like BO2 on PC, it will last long enough so we can all enjoy it for a while.

Nothing against consoles, but I freaking hate controllers for this type of game.

          • I agree but there is up and downs. For PC it’s easier to aim since since you can move around quicker and turn around quicker. But not good because some people don’t feel comfortable playing like that or not used to it. On controller it feels more comfortable in your hands. But you can’t manouver that fast which is why there is aim assist.

Not that they’re bad but I prefer console since it’s more natural and better customer support. Both good on playing though as the PC has better quality and less lag. But on console is almost the same but not as good quality and sometimes lag. But as a new game everything should be fine for now.

      • To me, it just feels like you’re clicking on enemies to kill them when you’re playing on PC. I prefer playing FPS on consoles because the controller just feels more natural in your hands. The triggers on Xbox and PS4 make the feeling of shooting more realistic. That’s just my opinion, though.

        • “We always wanted to be on consoles and Activision saw us as more of a PC developer.”

Wow. Hearing this from the guys that used to run IW… That is just hurtful. I guess this pretty much explains why IW’s games on PC are so shitty, even after West and Zampella + half of the original IW staff left.

    • That’s also because the PC community has more FPS games than console players. Fortunately, Treyarch isn’t Infinity Ward.

    • …All of the CoDs on PC get the same patches as consoles get on the same day mostly so I don’t know what you’re on about with “horrible support”

    • I’m going to get it on all three because I have a strong PC, PS4 and Xbox One……not really, those things are true but I am barely getting one copy because this might be my last go round with COD.

    • Still playing Black Ops 2 on PC. Servers are great, community is fantastic, game runs perfectly, and there are upwards of 10k people playing just the multiplayer at a time, which isn’t as much as consoles but if you can’t find games with 10k people online you’re doing something wrong.

    • Not really considering on a PC you can get maybe like a 4tb harddrive which can hold this same game 70 times, plus they can transfer to external hard drives.

    • Specs only tell you half the story. They could give you a fairly cheap specs as minspecs, but if the game is unoptimized, it will run like shit even on recommended specs. On the other hand, they could give you a high ass specs as minspecs, but then it turns out the game is so well optimized, it runs well even on low end hardware.

With Treyarch though? I’d go with the latter. But then again, this minspecs is pretty moderate. Not too demanding, not too low either.

  3. The difference in file size between consoles is amazing. I mean, there’s a whopping 15GB difference between Xbox and PC!

  4. The specs are quite minimal aside from the disk space. Didn’t have any issues on the beta so I’m expecting a solid launch.

  5. Man… Game sizes are getting out of control. I really can only keep a small handful of games on my SSD at a time these days.

  6. good, i have 6950 so i might be able to play this for a bit on low before i get my 980ti

I wish people would stop justifying there purchases for once…

Im getting PC version cuz its plain old better than on console!

      • PC support is excellent on Treyarch games. Only Advanced Warfare has disappointed in terms of Support but that was a terrible game so it didn’t matter. The PC beta of BO3 was astonishing especially at 120fps maxed out.

      • i beg to differ this time around, i guess we’ll see soon enough.

Only real downside to cod on pc is that people would rather play on console or they play csgo or BF or mobas or, dare i say it, minecraft.

  7. Woah, 55 GB on PS4 to 17 GB on PS3?

At that point they cut out gun models and animations and attachments are completely removed, along with maps consisting of 3 polygons with 0 textures.

  8. I’m starting a 4-man for “The Giant” on PC. We will be going for #1 rank in the world.
