UPDATE: The same user who sent us the info below followed up with images showing that different attachment variants in Black Ops 3 (users are able to have different variants of the same attachment) are also acquirable from a Supply Drop in the Black Market. The image we saw showed the Weevil weapon’s Quickdraw Attachment. The image showed there was one base attachment unlocked, and a second variant to the quickdraw attachment had to be unlocked from a Supply Drop.

This Attachment Variant can be acquired from a Supply Drop in the Black Market.

Original Story:

We’ve received images from a fan who was lucky enough to get Black Ops 3 early and it reveals some new details about the Taunts and Gestures in Call of Duty: Black Ops 3. According to the images we’ve seen, the way to acquire one of the taunts in the game is to receive them in a “Supply Drop” from the “Black Market.”

Classified
This Taunt can be aquired from a Supply Drop in the Black Market.

We are unable to confirm exactly what the Black Market in-game is and how the Supply Drop works in Black Ops 3. According to the fan, the Black Market has not gone live yet. Treyarch has not mentioned anything about a Supply Drop system in this title at all.

Lmao ELITE Mad Clown Taunts Unlocked

    • ccrows

I’m curious why do you love Advanced Supply drops?

Why would you prefer that over the older system which allowed you to buy the item outright?…

      • Washing Machine

        Its sarcasm…

        • ccrows

          OK then… 🙂

  • KruptPanda

    Black ops 3 baby can’t wait 😀

    micro-transactions here we come

    • Jhonatan Orlando Ferro

Call of Duty never change… 🙁

      • ccrows

Not saying I’m a fan, but when CSGO does this, they get a pass from the community…

        • Jhonatan Orlando Ferro

cuz the version of CS GO microtransactions, is for support creators and championships. And u can earn money with the boxes and skins( yes only skins)

          • CoDforever

Bullshit Valve makes millions off cases you seriously think they dont pocket any of it?

          • Jhonatan Orlando Ferro

Of course the valve gets part, however looks the championship that is going on now …. In a stadium in Europe, with support from Valve and with millions of dollars in prizes … U make maps and Valve choose u earn money, u make skins for boxes u earn money … they are micro-transactions that do not cause damage to the player.

          • CoDforever

CSGo makes millions off skins yet has lower prize pools than cod

          • Jhonatan Orlando Ferro

You are wrong, as I told her the money to creators. And COD have only one championship per year, CS GO have many … now Dreamhack 2015 is the third. CS GO is the third game that pays more for championships, just loose for League of Legends and Dota 2

          • ccrows

So Valve can’t have any championships whatsoever without Microtransactions?

BTW, Activision had their yearly championship before using loot crates.

Spin it any way you want my man, it’s still a revenue generator, and the CSGO community will blindly defend it, yet when COD does it OH Activision is greedy.

^ & belive me Activision doesn’t need any more money, but CSGO is really to blame for all of this BS…

          • Jhonatan Orlando Ferro

But is true my friend, the way that Activision does with micro-transactions is harmful to the consumer, what Valve does is quite different and does not cause damage. Can you earn money and buy games with micro-transactions from Activision? Your answer is there.

          • ccrows

“Can you earn money and buy games with micro-transactions from Activision?”

^ Sure you can. Open a few crates, get an item in demand, and sell your account on eBay. If people can make a buck off of reverse boosted account (never thought I’d see that day) they can make a buck off of this too.

Yeah I know what you OG meant, but still…

          • CoDforever

Lol I gurantee you 80% of ppl that buy loot cases in CSGO do not sell their items or make an extremely low income which is much less than how much they bought it for .. keep sucking their dicks will you

          • CoDforever

COD only has 1 official championship from activision .. if mgl/umg/gfinity do not count that why should DreamHack? Its not officially from valve

          • BradyAlucard[sillibk]

            Who cares?

          • One Russian’s Revenge

“People do comrade, just like people care about Zombies, do not hate, appreciate.”

          • BradyAlucard[sillibk]

I don’t really care about CoD championships tbh. They do nothing for me.

          • One Russian’s Revenge

“That may be true, but people do like it, I’m sure if some people went up to you and started hating on Zombies, you’d feel a bit upset, correct?”
            “That’s what I’m getting at.”

          • BradyAlucard[sillibk]

I’ve seen some that said that they didn’t like it. Not a big deal.

          • ccrows

So when Valve get’s their part, it’s OK.

When Activision does it, it’s greed.

I read what you wrote and all, but when your really break things down it’s still pretty much the same.

^ I mean really the only main difference is the community…

          • BradyAlucard[sillibk]

            They’re all greedy.

        • Drei

because CSGO just changes the cosmetics of the weapon, it doesn’t make the weapon better.

          • ccrows

That’s how it is for now.

Let’s say that BO3 keeps this stuff to taunts, people are still gonna be pissed that you can’t buy it outright.

^ Yet when CSGO does it, there’s the excuse train coming around the corner… (and no that last comment wasn’t at you)

          • Kobrah

They will only contain cosmetic stuff

        • Michael Staunton

That’s because csgo can give you profit, Let’s say I go on a site called csgolounge, I trade with someone willing to downgrade, I get profit they get loss because it was a willing deal.

          • Kobrah

Maybe that’s what the black market is

  • bird

this is exactly the sort of content that makes sense to be in a random loot system. Not entire new guns and OP variants of weapons.

    • Timothy Brown

I agree completely they don’t change anything that actually matters

    • CraziBoi94

Yup. People in AW were all accepting to the idea of cosmetic items only in drops. As long as they limit it to that, its not a big deal at all. People just overreacting.

    • forrest1985

Exactly, taunts and the appearance customisation items are fine but guns and equipment etc.. should be unlocked through normal progression. This way if they throw in micro-trans it makes no difference to gameplay

      • BradyAlucard[sillibk]

I still think they should all be unlockable, regardless. Random loot is the perfect solution.

    • ccrows

*sigh* Welp, if any DLC guns come down the road (and if we need to unlock them via this) we’re gonna find out if SH or Activision was more to blame in AW for that stuff… 🙁

      • Sammy Jones Ekulu Mathy

I think there will be 4 new specialists in the DLC. Treyarch am in your mind right now XD

        • forrest1985

I think any DLC guns/ specialists should b unlocked from the go…after all were paying for DLC content… Comestic items are fine in supply drops

          • Sammy Jones Ekulu Mathy

Yup what say can be true but we will see That after lunch

      • christopher woodhead

Activision is to blame. It’s always Activision. They own all of the COD devs so any money making scheme will be put into a game by order of the Activision Overlords.

    • D3ADWANTED 25

I hope we get skins, camos and armor out of it

    • ccrows

I just hope that we don’t have to buy loot crates to get the MP7. 🙁

But the MP7 was placeholder… it’s probably now called Pharah

        • forrest1985

Mp7 and M27 were placeholders and replaced by Pharo and ICR (?)

          • DeadZombieGaming 12

            Most likely yes

          • Bradley Eldred

No the pharo is a 3 round burst it’s like the chicom

          • Tuby

            4 round burst

          • mocthemerc

The MP7 was still the placeholder for that. In the files it labeled the MP7 as being burst.

    • 100% agree. I don’t anyone can complain about a taunt being OP lol.

      • GL

So few weeks ago u said there’s no supply drop, so what now?

the black market sounds like you can sell stuff there too

  • O: Peeping Tom!

    THIS IS BULL

  • I reckon Supply Drops will drop a random taunt or gesture and maybe a head or armor design piece. You can either use and equip them or sell it on the market for a kind of currency used to buy different taunts. I also think you may be able to sell paintshop designs on the market too. I just hope you cant buy supply drops or get weapon variants from them.

    • O: Peeping Tom!

Yea I secund that, it`s bullshit.

    • Scott

Maybe similar to how Halo 5 does their Req packs

This system could also be used to unlock attachment variation for the gunsmith.

  • Andrew G

    Lucky enough?

Anyone who gets it early should be perma-banned. As for having Supply Drops with simply cosmetic features in them, I am all for it. Never should have game-impacting random prizes. AW was a joke because of it, among other reasons.

    • Washing Machine

Y should they be perma banned? Its their retailers fault in most cases when they get the game early, so the customer shouldn’t suffer. As long as they dont ruin the game by posting spoilers there is nothing wrong with it.

      • Andrew G

Because they shouldn’t have it. And even if they do somehow get it, they shouldn’t be playing it. We see this year after year with Leaderboards being tanked because of early copies, not to mention the hackers/modders getting their hands on it early and impacting the game.

        It shouldn’t keep happening.

        • Washing Machine

But the customer has nothing to do with the fact that the retailer sent it early, I’ve had games sent early quite a few times so its actually relatively common.

You’re probably butthurt that some people have got the game and is playing it happily, most of them not doing any leaks, but you’re stuck on AW and cant play it.

          • Andrew G

No, not in the least. In fact I am going to be out of town on release day riding my horse.

But I’ve played CoD for a long time now… and I’ve seen the damage early release can do to the community. Aside from the Spoilers… Leaderboard impact, Mods/Hacks/Glitches. Those who have it and aren’t flashing it around, good for them. But know right from wrong and wait like a normal human being.

    • DeadZombieGaming 12

THIS IS FUCKING TAUNTS AND GESTURES! NOT THE SAME THING AS FUCKING AW!

      • w

you dont know whats gonna happen in the future, they might add guns. I dont know either, but we have to think this way and let Treyarch know we dislike it so that the same mistakes from AW dont happen again

        • cocosrevenge

Correct! Thank you, you couldn’t have been more accurate with your statement.

      • cocosrevenge

Tone it the fuck down, I don’t give a flying fuck what you think!! Besides BO3 hasn’t released yet so there’s no telling what may happen with the supply drop system unless you can foretell the future. Get a life….

      • ccrows

Was all that yelling really necessary?

Especially when you don’t have any proof on what type of MT are going to happen down the road…

        • DeadZombieGaming 12

I am just sick of the Supply Drop thing… I mean, this is the reaction when people hear the word Supply Drop: ”OMG THIS GAME IS FUCKING RUINED ALREADY, NOT GONNA GIVE U GUYS MONEY! 0/10 WORST GAME EVER!”… That’s literally the reaction of the cod community lol

  • I remember at the Black Ops 3 Reveal they specifically said there won’t be a Supply Drop system in the game. Im happy that it’s their but I see no reason to keep it a secret.

    • Will WilFredo Mendoza

Probably some dumb troll or making it look like he got BO3? Idk.

      • Keshav Bhat

the person who sent images is not a troll. we saw more images of other parts of the game.

  • Sky

If there is guns or a way to buy them. i’m done with this shit.

    • Choppabro2psn

I think treyarc saw what happened with AW, and have enough sense to no take that route

      • w

but does activision have enough sense? All they saw is money from AW supply drops, and they are the boss

        • Choppabro2psn

          You’re right.

      • ccrows

        You’re assuming that it’s Treyarch’s call.

Time will tell, but I think it’s more Activision’s…

        • Choppabro2psn

Well, replace treyarc with Activision. They did make a lot of money, but AW died out a lot faster than it should’ve, which ultimately means less money than they could’ve made, had it lasted until the end, or beyond.

  • Bolbi Stroganovsky

As long as these “Supply Drops” only give out cosmetics ONLY, I really don’t care.

    • ccrows

We’ll see down the road, but there’s no way that they are going to put guns in at launch…

  • Allen

I think that if they put in different variations of the guns that only looked different and had no stat changes made to them would be pretty cool

  • Think Positive! Activision took the Supply Drop system in AW way too far, please do not ruin Black Ops 3 with this shit.

    • Jordan Lucas

didn’t Sledgehammer Games actually make AW whilst Activision was working on something else, probably BO3? Like how Visceral made Hardline whilst Dice is/was making Star Wars Battlefont.

      • One Russian’s Revenge

“You see Activision is a publishing company not a developer, but I assume they have says in certain monetizing features.”

    • ccrows

Activision is too proud of their launch sales numbers to do that now.

^ & BTW I’m a HUGE fan of COD, but when Activation does shit like this they’re evil, and when it happens in CSGO that community will defend it…

  • TheHorror

If they add anything other than Taunts/Gestures or cosmetic shit, I’ll drink my own piss

    • ccrows

Nah I’m pretty sure gear will end up in there too, which IMO is fine just as long as it doesn’t lead to guns…

      • Stefan Lang

It might not. But the less available gives the better chance of unlocked specific items.

  • Peewee78368

I am 100% fine with this… I played AW for months and never pulled the one gun i wanted the speakeasy….. I stop playing it 3months ago

  • matt murdock

how can you be so fucking retarded, its not a bad a idea a all you guys are just complaining because the comment before you is complaining. Everything you earn is obviously going to be aesthetic. The only bad thing about AW is people get things that make you better at the game by chance, this is not the case. get over it its a good move

    • LLORT

Activision said Supply Drops would never be monetized. If you honestly believe BO3 wont be milked the same way with P2W gear; you are deluded.

      • matt murdock

why would it ever be a problem, unless you believe they will add in gun variants and divert from solely cosmetic items. Since when are skins game breaking.

  • Buruck Obuma

Off topic but keshav where are you from?

  • Excellent, now I can hire a specialist to assassinate Vondy.

  • O.G.Bobby Johnson

Shouldn’t be an issue if weapons aren’t involved, if it’s just taunts and gear fine, if you have a problem with that then go grab a barbie and play dress up all you want.

  • Vahn

    Dark Ops Theory

David Vonderhaar recently teased on twitter that Black Ops 3 has a category of Challenges called “Dark Ops.”

Theory: It makes sense that this links to the Black Market (Dark Ops). Our theory is that Supply Drops are earned from Dark Ops challenges and not just simply playing the game more like in Advanced Warfare. From what David Vonderhaar has tweeted it seems like we will not know these challenges until they are completed, making them harder to complete.

  • jordanxbrookes

    Oh dear…

    • ScOott

Don’t worry man, it won’t be like A.W they mentioned this a long time ago ..

      • jordanxbrookes

Michael Conman said that it wouldn’t be monetized, but look how that turned out. Activision will probably make Vahn do the same thing or near enough it.

      • ccrows

        I hope you’re right Scottie. *exhales* I hope you’re right… 🙁

  • ScOott

People are loosing the plot for nothing, Treyarch allready said a long time ago they will not put gun stats in supply drops, it will be all cosmetic #KeepCalmAndTrusTreyarch

    • RdJokr

Actually, what they said was “there will be no supply drops in BO3”.

Now, granted, this is better than the supply drops in AW (since there is no stat-changing gun variants yet), but people are quick to forget how Activision fucked up the supply drop system by adding all the cool loot gear in Advanced supply drops. That could totally happen with BO3. So until we’ve seen otherwise, it’s a cause for concern.

      • ScOott

No when the game got announced he said there would be something similar to supply Drops and it would all be cosmetic stuff, I remember it clear as bell, he made sure everyone knew weapon stats wouldn’t change ..

        • RdJokr
          • ScOott

That’s just an old c.i story .. I bet u, no weapon veriants in bo3 *extends hand*

          • RdJokr

Well that’s what we’re all counting on. But the point of the post was, this is basically going back against what Treyarch said earlier this year about having no supply drops in BO3. People are only defending this now because:

            A. It’s Treyarch, and people are fanboying

and B. There is no stat-changing variants. Cosmetic variants? Yes. Stat-changing? Not at the moment.

I mean, look back on the post I linked to. People were hating on supply drops like crazy. And now suddenly it’s OK, as if people forgot how Activision tried to nickle and dime us all with Advanced Supply Drops, using Sledgehammer as their meat shield to absorb all the hate.

          • LovekillerX

Dude it is Treyarch. They can sh*t on us without people caring. If SHG/IW does this people would cry a river. Everything that Treyarch does is “justified”.

Sometimes fanboyism goes a little bit too far…

          • RdJokr

I know. I mean, I’m a Treyarch fanboy myself, but I know when shit goes too far. This is slowly going over the edge right now, so I’m just gonna wait until the game comes out and see just how much of a problem it is, or isn’t.

          • ScOott

Your so butt hurt, at how many people like treyarch, but don’t like the games u like ?…

          • QuickzZ-_-GhosT

Yeah that s why when Treyarch nerfed the DSR nobody complained right ? That s why Vondy didn t received death threats right ? All 3 studios can be hated, it s just IW and SHG suck at making CoD .

          • ScOott

They said ages ago, u will be able to change the way your gun looks, Ur guy and now the taunts your over reacting man, cosmetic gear is kewl, stat changing/game breaking shit isn’t ..

Random loot systems like supply drops are a good tactic to take money from moms credit card for their kids. GG Treyarch.

  • ccrows

Honestly I wonder if game companies will ever get investigated for doing this stuff like “Draft Kings/Fanduel”.

On one hand, it’s gambling with kids under 18.

On the other hand, it’s supposed to be an 18 and on up game.

Fortunately there’s more states that are banning the “Draft Kings/Fanduel” BS
(Iowa, Louisiana, Nevada, & Montana) so maybe there is hope for us that this too will get banned down the road…

            It is basically gambling.

Trust me if enough parents get on board, you never know what could happen…

          • One Russian’s Revenge

“Anything is possible with enough parents, or a PTA.”

          • ccrows

            Yup…

          • One Russian’s Revenge

“That’s a good thing though, I think it’d be legal if there was no real world currency involved, right?”

EDIT: “Maybe in game points you earn by playing matches?”

          • ccrows

Exactly, you get enough kids that use their parents credit card, and who knows.

If you keep it to in game currency and grinding for rewards it’s not an issue then…

          • One Russian’s Revenge

“Then they should do it like that instead, that means more play time for us, and we use their product more, take and give.”

          • Aidan

Fuck the PTA. It’s our choice if we want to buy them or not. We aren’t forced to. Besides, why does it fucking matter how we spend our money? And even if you don’t get what you want, it’s no big deal. You could just EARN more.

          • One Russian’s Revenge

“That’s all fun and good, it’s just I’m mentioning this because under-age kids and what-not, as the other person was saying that stuff is illegal, but yeah, I do like the supply drops, but to each their own, right?”

          • Aidan

You are the dumbest person I have met.

          • ccrows

Wow, well after reading all of your reasons why, I guess I need to agree then… <_<

          • ccrows

*sigh* whatever, I wasn’t sure if you were gonna reply or not, but I’m heading out the door with my friends, so I’m not gonna wait any longer.

Hopefully you don’t get too butthurt upset over this, it’s just a convo bro… 😉

    • Dante

So does that mean they should also ban CSGO cases?

      • ccrows

That’s a start, especially since they started all of this stuff right?…

        • Dante

Well if that happens then apparently they wouldn’t be able to have any championships *read comments below*

          • ccrows

Right, cuz all that money goes into the championships and not in their pocket at all.

COD managed to have a yearly championship without any of that…

  • One Russian’s Revenge

“So Zombies campaign mode, wow I wasn’t expecting that.”

    • BradyAlucard[sillibk]

      Link?

      • One Russian’s Revenge

        “It’s down there.”
        “Keep scrolling.”

EDIT: “Washing Machine posted it, there is a 2 min video and a screenshot to the menu, confirming ‘resume mission’, etc.”

        • BradyAlucard[sillibk]

Oh crap… I’ll go watch it. Wow.

  • RipperStripper

    Fuuuuuck that

  • RdJokr

I love how everyone just seem to forgot about this article:
    http://charlieintel.com/2015/04/26/supply-drop-system-not-returning-in-black-ops-3/

Not hating or anything, but we can’t be sure how Activision will fuck up the supply drop system now. As long as the contents of a supply drop is fully cosmetic, I guess there’s not much to worry about. But then again, they said nothing about earning these, and it seems like you can only buy them from the in-game store (or the Black Market as it’s called). So unless you can earn some type of in-game currency, this is gonna suck mad balls.

    • Gamerazor247

      Rekt?

    • Keshav Bhat

Yeah, same. Im guessing a lot changed but this is only cosmetic items.

      • RdJokr

And hopefully it stays that way. And as long as there’s an in-game currency to let me buy these, I’m all for it.

  • Juses

Oh noe!!! Teh fagitz es ruinen blek ups 3.
    RIP Blek Ups 3 2015 – 2015

    • Imventing

      LMFAOOOOO

  • Walter

As long as they don’t put variants or guns you can only get in supply drops we are good

    • DeadZombieGaming 12

There is no variants like AW… You can make your own Variant in Gunsmith, but with attachments only

  • jahladagaming

    And so it begins.

  • melchor2679

Just don’t put weapon variants in supply drops please! :/

  • Greasy Neckbeard

    FUUUUUUUUCKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK

  • xboxisdead

So where is all the hate ? I thought everybody hated them now just because it has to do with bo3 everybody loves them hahahaha give it a little everybody will turn on this game…..

  • Michael Romo

    Pls no gun cairns Treyarch

  • zack

Hahahaa I told y’all supply drops would be back.

  • CoDforever

anyone know how the taunts and gestures work?

    • Dante

There for when your team wins and your one of the top 3. When they show the top 3 on the wining team you’ll do the taunt/gesture

  • Mr_ysi42t96

Didn’t earlier this year someone said that there is going to be a market in bo3 where you can trade weapon camos and stuff?

    • DeadZombieGaming 12

      I think so

  • D3ADWANTED 25

Hope Activison can learn one thing right from CSGO

  • Fiend

    Hell no fucking supply drops!

  • Ak74u

Bullshit I don’t want anything to do with supply drops. Remember how at first they said supply drops were going to be free? Then they available to purchase after a month…

    • LovekillerX

But they never said anything about advanced supply drops so technically they didn’t lie.

    • Devin Wolfe

It was three quarters into the games life cycle before Advanced Supply drops where able to be purchased so be quite as you obviously know nothing.

      • Ak74u

I don’t know but the fact that they did this with advances warfare makes it most likely that they will do this for BO3. I am 100% sure they will make us pay for customization and other micro transactions through those supply drops. Just remember this. I know it’s not treyarch but activision

  • I like how everyone immediately starts hating on this feature just because It has ”Supply Drop” In it. I really doubt you can get anything besides the Taunts from them (maybe weapon camos, too) so calm your tits.

  • Piotr Piter

I hope supply drops have only customizables.

  • Choco Da Great

I hated supply drops in AW 🙁

  • jesus, chill out, will you ? the main problem in AW was weapon drops gave you actually good weapons (instanity, speakeasy, pwner)… I don’t see any problem with receiving cosmetics through drops..

    • Devin Wolfe

All of those weapons could be countered of you where good enough people bitching it was pay to win have never actually tried to combat these guns.

      • No. Post launch speakeasy was godly. I used it, I am a tryhard. I was invincible. Getting score 999999 (char table was not able to show more lol) in domination on daily basis.. But you probably missed my point, I don’t care about drops in AW either.. Was just explaining to this crying crowd that if they hated it in AW, it won’t be that horrible in BO3.

  • Devin Wolfe

    Glad to hear.

  • Brad of Duty

Supply Drops were actually the best thing about AW so I wouldn’t mind if they came back to an extent

    • NumbCorns

people like you is why cod is dying…

      • Brad of Duty

How? The only reason to play AW was to go for supply drops lol game is garbage

        • NumbCorns

see. you answer your own question. You support the supply drops

        • se7enX89X

I’m going to have to agree with Numb, supply drops are fucking dumb.

      • infidel

People like you are the reason why nobody takes COD community seriously anymore. All the haters can just GTFO, COD will still survive with a few thousand less retards riding on the bus

  • Nikkhil M

I hate how people keep thinking that these will have weapons and variants in them like Advanced Warfare.

  • NumbCorns

wtf is this?! omg fuck attachments variants

    • Keshav Bhat

What’s wrong with cosmetic differences in attachments that do not even touch the stat of the gun?

      • PuddingAuxRais1ns

Nothing is wrong with that at all.

      • Mr_ysi42t96

he thought it’s like advance warfare (the attachment is on the gun)

  • TheGamerBeast

i don’t get the supply drop thing.. will it be free dropped in GAME like AW? or u hav to buy them?? … cz that would be BS

    • PuddingAuxRais1ns

It’ll most likely be both, similar to AW.

  • Maximiliano Martinez

I actually don’t mind this since there won’t be any weapons variants.

  • Voltage
    • Keshav Bhat

things changed. that’s was in April too.

  • Myth

All these people saying this makes sense…

How does adding visual things for random crap make sense? Why not make these rewards for playing the game and achieving something? Yano, rewarding those that play the game… not those that get lucky.

These systems that are nothing by playing Russian roulette with RNGesus has no place in these types of games. And they’re only happening because these people are losing ways to make the game more appealing to people to play for a year.

  • Your being robbed

There is supply drops in this because Activison made and ass load of money from Advanced Warfare and why not continue it while there are still plenty of idiots to spend their money on it. 10% is done to make this whiny community happy and 90% for profit. Activison nor Treyarch actually care about anyone’s “feelings”. Not hard to figure this out, strictly there for money and that’s it.

    • Jeremy Fernandez

I think it’s fine if there are ONLY taunts and gestures and cosmetic things in the drops not weapon variants.

      • Imventing

tartan said it also contains some attachments for guns

        • Rawr & LittleSpoon

yeh cosmetic attatchments…everything is cosmetic.. like cs go skins, like destiny with the way your gun look’s or character but the base stats are the same as other weapons, its called personalization.

        • Jeremy Fernandez

No just variant attachments which are cosmetic.

          • Imventing

            hmm I prob heard incorrectly.

  • xCiiiRe

    ….

  • HORSE SIX ZERO

Wow, a total rip off from the Titanfall Black Market. This game is just one huge rip off from Titanfall. Craps Ops 3, the ultimate example of Digital Plagiarism I’ve ever seen.
I called this months ago with my Piratecast Co-Host, Archnemesis06 and all we have to say is this….WE TOLD YOU SO! WE…TOLD…YOU…SO!

    • CoDforever

The only thing they both share is the name “Black Market” retard

      • One Russian’s Revenge

“Wasn’t this in development before Titanfall?”

        • CoDforever

it was in dev late 2012

  • nuk4towniz42069

Oh no. It sayssupply drop. It must be bad. ?

  • One Russian’s Revenge
  • ghghgfh

Or.. We can all play a free game, with free taunts and gestures (since 1999), where they are taking all their ideas from. = UT (4)

  • Jay Evan

I just hope they keep all the weapons in DLC. Though I wouldn’t mind specialist DLC now that I think of it. Imagine giving Reaper the Ability to disguise himself as an enemy player, or giving Spectre the Storm PSR from blops2.

  • Mr_ysi42t96

hopefully we don’t get limited time costumes, i actually prefer if you had some extra tokens for example and you could buy these packs to get some loot from challenges

  • RubberPenguin

I hope I don’t have to buy supply drops to get the new guns like in AW. Spending money for the MP40 and such was such garbage.

    • DEMOLITION12

      you don’t

  • jt3z

If this is only cosmetics then its all good. Figured money whore activision would find some way to get these in the game lmao

  • Igo

I agree completely they don’t change anything that actually matters.

  • Igo

    supply drops noob things

  • Tommy Ledge

Why is everyone assuming the attachment variants are merely for show and do not have modified stats different from the stock attachment??? Modified attachment variants would drive 100x the income as players would feel the need to be able to compete just like in AW.. seems like a poor business decision to make them purely aesthetic.

  • Jay Evan

because the combat knife now takes up class space, I wonder if new melee weapon varients will be introduced, like boxing gloves, or a katana, or a baseball bat.

  • Heartique

I think the way to purchase items in the black market will be by using one of your tokens! 😉

  • The Adapted Warrior

    Actually happy about supply drops

  • Frag Wall

    “Haters gonna hate” Firebreak.

  • EliteSniper

A purple laser sight would be good. And a fast mag that’s quicker as well as extended mags with 5 more bullets.

  • Dannoo

Great so everyone runnning round with ManOWar’s with +1 firerate e.c. MEEERH 😐

  • TaktixRook

variants are good but i don’t think they should affect the guns performance. I think they should physically make the gun look different. That would be awesome!

  • Cyborg-jones

    Black market main menu

  • Jackb carter

I got a legendary gesture in the black market any idea how to find it?

  • javar

I loved the loot system in aw because it gave me a reason to keep playing wanting to unlock new weapons an stuff, I hope they add more guns in bo3

  • HC_Eat Me

people want to see images of the camos not the stupid names
common people get ur crap together

  • Neil Kwiatkowski

Must be an easier way to obtain certain taunts, eg. Ha, and make it rain.
