The Race stream, featuring TmarTn, Jericho, VernNotice, Hutch, and GoldGlove, has raised over $450,000 for the Call of Duty Endowment, Activision’s non-profit organization that helps vets find jobs.

For the last five days, they have been streaming live from Treyarch’s offices and fans have been donating money. The donations from fans totaled over $200,000, but Activision is matching each donation 1:1, which means they have accumulated over $400,000. In addition, The Race gained over $50,000 more from sponsors, which totals the donation amount to over $450,000!

Congrats to all those involved!

He was eating french fries or something and ended up breaking part of his tooth off whilst exposing part of his tooth’s nerve on the livestream.

Is it true Treyarch boosted TheRace account to Master Prestige? I wasn’t watching but I’ve heard it was which makes me less impressed but good job on raising money for our Vets.

    • ccrows

With all due respect on this one JB, does it matter?…

      • jordanxbrookes

Well it does since they didn’t get there legitimately. That’s the whole point of The Race. Don’t get me wrong, I’m happy they raised a lot of money for our Vets to get jobs, but it’s not The Race if Treyarch just hands them the final rank. At least in Black Ops 2 they did it legitimately.

In bo2 tho you could power through the first 20 ranks within a couple of games .. Ranking up system is sooo slooow in this one, they probz not thought it through before it started, but Yh if I donate money I expect someone to do the challange set .. Never mind lol, all for a good cause ..

          • ColonelBazz

They did ask it in the survey from the beta though. So people could say if they were leveling to fast, to slow etc. Leveling is slower than on BO2. But Modern Warfare was even slower to prestige. We aren’t used to get +1.5million xp anymore since BO2, while MW2 was even above 2million. Going slow through the levels is ofcourse also because there are only 55 levels, compared to MW3 with 80 and MW2 with 70. So even though it’s not as much as back than it feels slow xD
(Also keeping in mind there hasn’t been a double xp weekend)

  • imBATMAN

What prestige did they manage to get?

    • KK5

They got to Prestige 4 level 20-something, and then they “got” it at the end to “achieve” the rank of Master Prestige

      • Prostidude

They got to prestige 4 lvl 36 last I saw 🙂 ran into a lobby with them.

      • imBATMAN

oh I ask because on Tfarts videos I see them at prestige 1 while my friends are prestige 2 so i was a little confused haha
