Original Story:

In the latest PlayStation Blog’s PS Store Weekly Update, PlayStation is stating that Treyarch and Activision will be adding a new Call of Duty Points bundle. This bundle will include 10,000 Call of Duty Points (+ 3,000 bonus points) for $99.99.

Call Of Duty: Black Ops III

  • 10,000 (+3,000 Bonus) Call Of Duty Points ($99.99)

It’s not clear when this will actually go live in-game, and as of now, the PlayStation Store’s online site does not list the new bundle either.

Currently, there are four different Call of Duty Points bundles available — 200 for $1.99, 1,000 (+100 bonus) for $9.99, 2,000 (+400 bonus) for $19.99, 4,000 (+1,000 bonus) for $39.99.

We will update as we learn more on a possible release date for this new bundle.

Call of Duty Points are only available on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.

oh dear, ATVI really pushing it aren’t they, i really hope no-one is stupid enough to buy this.

    • ALL THE YOUTUBERS WILL SPEND THERE DONATIONS AND VIEW MONEY ON THESE 100%

    • Keshav Bhat

Well, to be honest here, this is basically a good deal for those who are spending a lot of money on CoD Points.

You get 50, 200 CP bundles..you pay $100 for 10,000 points. Here, you get 13,000 points for same price.

      • The Flash

no-one should be buying any COD points when the content you get you can get for free as well (even if it is at a slower rate) I’d rather buy a new game. I mean we pay for DLC, imagine though if you could get the individual maps free from supply drops or LD – no reason to buy the DLC then.

        • Its their money, they’re free to spend it how they like. If you’re against it, simply don’t buy it.

      • WhiskeyDick

Why didn’t you make an article stating Sledgehammer gave away a free legendary gun this weekend? I woulda got on to get it had I known ?

    • jordanxbrookes

You and I both know stupid people WILL buy this lol.

    • CoDforever

I spend 1000’s of hours of playing the game so I dont really mind dropping some more cash on it

    Meanwhile at Activision HQ…

ATVI: How can we make more money?

      P1: Micro-transactions!
      P2: More micro-transactions!!
P3: Please the fans and give them what they ask for a change.

P3 is chucked out the window.

ATVI: OK boys, we are finally done with BO3
Eric Hirshberg: WTF, it’s not finished
      Employee:What do you mean sir?
Eric Hirshberg:There are no micro transactions you fagit
Employee:But sir, the fans don’t like micro transactions
Eric Hirshberg:Fuck the fans, they are fagits too
      Employee:But sir-
Eric Hirshberg:Shut the fuck up faggot
      Employee:Ahem. Correction, fagit.
Eric Hirshberg: If you don’t shut your mouth I will take those micro transactions and shove them up your ass
      Employee:Fuck you
Eric Hirshberg: Alright, where did I put those micro transactions?

AngryJoe is pretty awesome. He’s honest and does well placed humor in his reviews

      • I love Joe too. Does great reviews. To bad he fucked up the AW review.

I love his reviews because most of the time what he says is true.

I’m sure they’re in their meetings debating whether to put weapon variants into the supply drops, just imagining how much more money they can get. ??

Just buy two of the 39.99
    And then buy a 9.99
The equivalent for a cheaper price.

    • Jay Evan

ooo, I save 10 whole bucks, I sure can use that money for something related to gaming nowadays.

    • RdJokr

      LOL, check your calculations mate.

      2 x 4000 (+ 1000 bonus per pack) + 1 x 1000 (+ 100 bonus per pack) = 10000 + 1100 = 11100

      1 x 10000 (+ 3000 bonus per pack) = 13000

If you intend to buy COD points, the 10000 pack contains the most amount of CPs for value.

Activi$$$ion you money-whore scumbags. How about you spend some money in allocating more dedicated servers in Australia since we can’t find games in parties during the day. It’s been like that for 3 months! This is unacceptable and your twitter customer support is a waste of fucking time as well!

    • Kobrah

It’s not too bad but when I play solo, but as soon as I join a party it takes about 10min to find a TDM. Even when we do find a lobby the chance of us getting kicked or lagging like shit is about 75%

      • Ghost

Yeah, Solo is fine. However if I have 3 or more players with me in a party; we can’t find dedicated server games so it puts us in a hosted lobby and since most Australian players don’t have NBN, you just lag really bad in BO3 and it disconnects. At least give me the option to only search for dedicated server lobbies!!!

        • Kobrah

That is my experience exactly! Two man parties aren’t too bad. I won’t get NBN till the first half of 1018! :,(

    • pharo

Same problem for the middle east. CI should make an article/video about this!

  • Jay Evan

Why buy more games when you can waste all of it on some new melee weapons?

  • ToonToons22

    A Typical Activision Meeting

Employee 1: I say we put more things in supply drops and make them buyable so that gullible saps will spend hundreds on them.

Boss: Great idea! You get a raise.

Employee 2: Why don’t we just give the fans what they want and make each new weapon free to all? It would only be fair.

(Employee 2 is called to the Human Resources office, only to never be seen ever again.)

  • imBATMAN

    ….Are they forreal?

  • RdJokr

Activision’s greed knows no end. But hey, as long as it’s cosmetic, I can’t find a reason to give a shit about this.

Also, to the kid that once said to me BO3 wouldn’t have ridiculous microtransactions: HAH.

  • MichiganerE

$100.00 for 10,000 meaningless points in a video game… Gotta love modern day gaming. But hey, I suppose it’s the consumer’s fault considering the fact that they’re the ones buying into this, which only leads to this getting worse by the day. And you know what? These people can buy this shit all they want. When the day comes when the game industry crashes because of cancer such as this, let’s just remember that we were the reason for it.

    • banerising

Gotta admit, they almost got me with that “sale” the other day. But I could use that money to buy different games.

      • MichiganerE

        Sale my ass.

        • lotterry

KGB operatives used brain washing back in the seventies over the mass media by promoting commercials that

          • MichiganerE

            Yep.

        • Kobrah

How can you be upset by a half price sale? Disagreeing with the concept of CoD points I can understand, but not a sale. No wonder CoD fans are never happy

          • MichiganerE

I’m happy with BO3 overall aren’t I? What are you talkin’ about?

          • Kobrah

“Sale my ass”, you didn’t sound too impressed, that’s all. I am having a good time on BOIII too, I must have just read your comment out of context

          • MichiganerE

I love the campaign, mp and zombies. It’s micro-transactions that I despise.

          • Siftblade

Even at half price they are still a rip off.

  • lotterry

KGB operatives used brain washing back in the cold war over the mass media by promoting commercials that talked about saving big and sales when in reality they were getting ripped off by a long shot. (They did this in order to demoralize the U.S., basically make us stupid through the television and take away our values) Activision is using similar strategies as the KGB by tricking people into thinking they are saving money when in reality any purchase of this DLC product is a rip off.

  • thunder 2.0

i dont understand how they can charge a 100 for items that have no resale value and will only be used for a year

    • GinsuVictim

Not that I would buy it, but only useful for a year? Are you one of those people who only play the latest title?

  • Little big Microtransaction

Wow, I can just shake my head over this. Microtransactions getting worse as time progresses. This isn’t “micro” anymore. I, I just don’t know what to say anymore about full price titles getting infested with this bullshit.

    • lunator100hd .

I dont care anynmore, if you want to spend $99.99 in cod points thats up to you. Im really happy that cod points dosent give you anything game-changing.

    • Kyle Soule

Some micro transactions are OK but they are going way to far with this.

  • LovekillerX

Activision is a company and companies try to maximize their income. There isn’t anything wrong when they do micro-transactions. Don’t tell me that “this isn’t morally right boohoo!” because if you would own a company you would probably do the same.

Fool isn’t the guy who asks but the guy who pays. *smh*

Let me add that this is only cosmetic so let people spend their own money for whatever they want. If you want to skip it, do it.

    • ScOott

It’s not as easy as that.. These people need to know what twats they are being by accepting it’s ok to add 100 pound micro transactions into a 50 pound game…

Who ever buys this shit is the reason gaming is in the state it’s in.. the same fools who are going to run out and buy an unfished hitman game when it’s released..

The bigger picture is their stupidness effects me and every other gamer, so I have every right to rant at anyone who wastes their money on it..

But it’s a business doh.. .. Doesn’t mean u have to get butt fucked by them and like it..

    • tuby

Thy want to extend there net profit for the stakeholders.

  • Michael:BulletClub

When it comes to guys like Ali A and Tmartn buying this crap it doesn’t even put a dent in their bank accounts.

    • FazalGaming

They make more money from the video opening supply drops than they spend on them.

      • lunator100hd .

Ha ha not even close, like x10.

  • Mario Porfírio Souza

The activision is not forcing anyone to buy it, make money and profit is the goal of any company, I do not know why so much complaint.

  • Gamerazor247

I love how they use “bonus points” as a ploy to buy it, like you’re getting a good deal, fucking Activision man…
