  • Esports is a joke

    Lol esports

  • Ray

Am I the only one that doesn’t care for Esports? Call of duty isn’t what it used to be since its all catered to competitive.

    • Reussi

There was CoD eSports all the way back to CoD4 so, idk what you are talking about.

      • Big lord

There are earlier cod my friend

      • FazalGaming

What Ray meant was that Black Ops 2 onwards they catered towards E Sports which in turn sort of ruined the fun of the game.

        • Ray

yes thats exactly what I meant. You can even see that the game has become even more fast paced and has various gimmicks to make it more spectator friendly. I wouldn’t mind if it was just a simple change of rules like back in COD 4.

      • J4MES

Not really – there were things like Gamebattles and fringe competitive tournaments whereby the rules were heavily restricted to compensate the game design but since BO2; the core games have been designed around eSports which is why they are no fun and fought on tinpot sized maps with no recoil guns and overly simplistic gameplay.

        • Ray

Precisely. Almost every gun these days seems like a straight firing laser beam. When you compare that to COD 4 or WAW the difference is clear. Also I agree that all maps seem to range from small to medium, I miss maps like wasteland(MW2) and Seelow(WAW) just to name a few.
