A new rumor has arisen claiming that the 10th specialist that’s coming to Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 will be in Supply Drops. The rumor’s source is a reported phone call that took place between a user and an Activision Support rep.

[Note: We are unable to confirm the legitimacy of the call as of right now, and we think it’s most likely fake, but let’s talk about the possibility of it happening.]

Now, before we go any further, the current rumors claim that the 10th specialist that could come to Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 is reportedly called ‘Black Jack’ and is based off of the Black Market person. Leaks also claim that the ability will be to ‘hack’ enemy specialists and use it for themselves. Activision and Treyarch have yet to announce any details about a possible new specialist as of now; current rumors have come about via game files that leaked.

If this rumor is true, Activision should really rethink their strategy here. Supply Drops have already gotten a lot of backlash from the community, and this would make it even worse. All comestic stuff are absolutely fine. Look at Halo 5’s REQ packs: tons of cosmetic stuff and no issues. Halo 5 is even giving all post launch DLC maps content for free for everyone. In Call of Duty, we have to get the Season Pass (which isn’t cheap for what it’s offering anymore…think about it. We are paying $49.99 for 16 maps and 4 zombies maps this year. Halo 5 is giving almost 20 maps, new modes, and more for free) or for $14.99 separately each.

How can they justify putting a specialist character, which does change the balance of the game, behind a “pay wall”? Activision can say that you can get it with Cryptokeys, but we all know the earn rate for keys are way too slow. Double Cryptokey weekend only has happened twice, and that earn rate is not that much better.

Guns were already problematic in Supply Drops. Activision has exclusively locked all post launch weapons in Black Ops 3 behind the supply drops. Advanced Warfare, at least, had some new guns in DLC Packs. Thus far, we have got no new weapons in DLC Packs in Black Ops 3. So many players do not have any of the new guns. What’s the point of the new guns when so many people are complaining that they don’t have it? Even people that have spent money on CoD Points have come out claiming they have yet to get some of the new weapons.

The only way Activision should ever release this new specialist is by providing the specialist for free for Season Pass owners or separate purchase for a price. Not exclusively in supply drops.

I’m glad CharlieIntel is taking a stand against supply drops, instead of some wishy-washy bullshit just because you get to go to press events first.

      My thoughts exactly.

*cough* prestige is key for example
I was his subscriber but he is way too deep in Activision’s dick
No matter what activision does, he always defend them, and then tell the guys pissed about SP that they are the problem and that they should accept it
And then blocks everyone who disagrees
      cry babies everywhere

      • tuby

Moreover he is pretty casual at cod look at his stats

        • BradyAlucard[sillibk]

          CoD is a casual game.

      • BradyAlucard[sillibk]

He was far up Advanced Warfare’s ass, he was the only person who liked that game on YouTube, I swear. But I doubt he blocks people who don’t like Supply Drops, because he said that he doesn’t like them, however… Tmartn might have lied in his video talking about his Activision bias, so Prestige could be lying, too.

That’s because I’ve been studying those sheep for years. I’m here till Thursday.

  • Woah I’m honestly surprised that Actvision would do this. No way. How on Earth. No way theyre greedy and want to milk everything with a gambling rng wall. Wow

  • KernosT

This would be the very first thing that I do not wanna see in the next CoD. Like go easy on the supply drops with all this fucking ridiculous dance moves and guns and shit. WTF has this franchise come to.

    • Neymliss

If Activision is at the helms, and if it’s seen to be more profitable, you can count on some form of supply drops.

  • Daniel Sims

You know things have gotten really bad when even CharlieIntel writers are criticizing Call of Duty / Activision.

Not something I thought I’d ever see.

    • BradyAlucard[sillibk]

      Right? And I HOPE YOU’RE HAPPY SCO0TT

      • ScOott

I’m very happy lol.. if all these big people that matter actually write stuff like this and make videos like this, we might eventually see change..

Also when they say “hack” i hope it just means u can hack a certain specialist then it turns Into ur specialist ability and not that u hack them and then they actually lose that ability because that is just ridiculously OP especially when it may be locked behind a never ending pay wall..

        • Thomas the Tankswag

Apparently its when you kill them while they are using theres, you get it.

          • ScOott

If that’s the case it’s kind of weak specialist, u have to wait for the timer to use it, then when u use it u have to make sure u get a kill on who ever u need to at the correct time, and then u have to make the ability work for u..

It’s alot to go through if that’s how it works.. As long as he doesn’t come with a weapon, the ability sounds usless..

Not that I’m condoning it being in a supply drop the idea of that is still a fecking disaster.. But by the sounds of it I’d rather get a new weapon, I’ve heard they have found some more in the game in game files..

          • Thomas the Tankswag

I dont think you’d have to activate it, it’d just be get a kill while your charged and they have a weapon out.

          • ScOott

Still doesn’t sound like something I’d be interested in using..

          • BradyAlucard[sillibk]

Yeah, seems like a waste, unless you’re one of those SUPER EXCITED GAMMA LABS KONTROL FREEK 10% OFF YouTubers that are SUPER DUPER EXCITED for Hero armor. (Black Ops 3) (Space Warfare) (BO3)

        • BradyAlucard[sillibk]

I spelled your name wrong, I didn’t have a reference

The Black Jack just seems pointless. He probably won’t even have a weapon, just some lame ability that will never be used because it’s hard to predict who has their abilities… I definitely don’t think that it’ll get rid of the stored ability due to balancing purposes, but if it’s only available in Supply Drops, then anything could happen…

Its so sad how Activision is ruining this more and more with their bullshit. Pretty sure 3ARC wasnt wanting this. Microtransactions wasnt bad.

    • BradyAlucard[sillibk]

      Microtransactions were pretty bad.

      • TheDemonOfHate

        Not really…
It wasn’t Pay to win with microtransactions.

        • BradyAlucard[sillibk]

It’s still a practice that should only be integrated into F2P games. Normal DLC isn’t enough nowadays. Gaming business has gotten more and more ruthless since last gen.

          • Batman

If there wasnt microtransactions all that shit would be free, like old school gaming
And no colorful bs armor and dance moves

          • BradyAlucard[sillibk]

If CoD consumers were slightly less oblivious, then the weapons would be included in the Season Pass, because it is constantly being purchased during a CoD game’s life cycle, so microtransactions are essentially just easy money.

        • BradyAlucard[sillibk]

And if Supply Drop weapons are pay to win, then so were the ones that were included in microtransactions. The Maverick and Ripper were purchasable separately.

Vonderhaar hates supply drops, but Activision are forcing Treyarch to use the system because they are the “boss” on COD games. Treyarch listens to the community, but fucking Activision are screwing everything up for them,,,

      • Jackson

And you really believe what you are writin’? Treyarch is as Guilty as Activison. Or do you think they are working just for fun?
And why should they give the 10th Specialist for free??? Especially as long as there are enough people that will pay for the Product.

I bet Mr. TmarTn will be one of the first guys, who will open 200 rare Supplydrops to bring us gameplay with the new Stuff. Can’t remember when he even brought one.

        • Greg Sieracki

Tmartn already said he spent $1,700 on supply drops then he complains when he is the cause!!!!

          • Aymen Skiken

he didn’t have a choice , every cod youtuber has to spend their money on supply drops to showcase the new guns ,taunts and clothes to their viewers , so i don’t think they are to blame.

          • Guest

Well I mean he had a choice more than Activision did. Tmartn is one of the most popular folks on YT not just COD. So HE doesn’t have to do anything. Smaller YT that are trying to grow and keep up maybe but Tmartin doesn’t have to do it. Not saying I fault him for doing so but he wasn’t losing many viewers for not doing supply drop. Unless of course Activision forced him to promote supply drops?

          • No they don’t. If your YouTube job has made you think that you have to dump $1700 for a weapon for a 5 minute video trailer then maybe you should consider playing another game or come up with a different idea for the video as a content creator.

They are just as much as to blame and they “oh, they have to get this new content ” is BS.

          • Aymen Skiken

i wouldn’t risk losing my audience just cause supply drops were implemented

          • There is no risk involved.

        • Xanivert

Treyarch really has no choice. I mean, sure, Treyarch could say no to Activision, but would you say no to your boss the next time he/she asks you to do something?

And Treyarch literally sees 0% of the money from CoD pts

          • Nerve Damage

Yep… when/if bosses ask/asked me to something unethical I would tell them to fuck off. Money will only get you so far in life… if you can’t sleep at night it’s not worth it… and if you can sleep at night (after doing underhanded shit) then you are a piece of garbage. So yeah, 3arch (and all of their employees) have the choice of leaving… whether right now or when their contract is up and if they stay, they are no better. They are essentially the getaway drivers who take thieves to rob banks.

          • Xanivert

I get where you’re coming from, but do you really think Treyarch is in a position to do that? There was no plan of having the supply drops until around July of last year when the game was pretty much done, and at that time Treyarch agreed if it was only for cosmetic purposes, but look how that turned out. They can’t just abandon ship in the middle of the game’s life.

          • Nerve Damage

That’s following the assumption that Hacktivision’s contract with it’s devs allows them to do whatever they want with game content… and whenever they want. I doubt any devs would sign up for a deal like that. So the more likely scenario (from a legal standpoint) is that 3arch’s ceo’s approved of Hacktivision’s request to allow the supply drops to be in the game… and most likely all of this “oh, we um… we didn’t know it was going to be like this” talk is just banter meant to make the fans feel sorry for “poor little 3arch…” and be mad at “big old mean Hacktivision”… was probably their plan from the beginning, and it seems to be working beautifully, lol. Whether or not they are “in the position” to deny a request is beyond me… I’d have to see the contract, but again I would assume that negotiations are contractually permitted and that breaches could void such a contract. Essentially, if 3arch (or any other dev) wanted an “out”… they could find one with a good lawyer.

          • Xanivert

Also, correct me if I’m wrong, but I’m pretty sure CoD pts didn’t exist until like a month or so after the game’s release

        • Bengal Tigger

Ok newbie, I guess you didn’t read the post on reddit on how vondy is pissed off about SP but still has to do it since ATVI is his boss and also Mark Lamia.

        • Neymliss

You realize treyarch doesn’t get the profits from this, Activision does. It doesn’t benefit treyarch in any way.

      • Tommy Ledge

Lol. ATVI and Treyarch have a contract.. There is no contract in the world that allows one side to ‘force the other side to do something’ that is hilarious. Treyarch either knew about SD’s when they signed the contract OR they mutually agreed to add them to increase revenue. Treyarch cares most about making money, just like SHG does, they are just playing ‘good cop/bad cop’ with your feeble minds and your eating it up.. Good show mate.

        • Guest

As Treyarch do you fight against this but realize you could be out of a job or just do it and knows people will rightfully blame Activision and sort of give you a pass.

I get taking a stand but we’re not going to pay Vahn and others bills.

    • ccrows

Please stop blaming Treyarch for this!

There is enough proof out there that this is Activsion’s fault, and not the devs.

Remember when Robert Bowling took a stand against Activision with bringing back maps for free in MW3? Yeah now we are stuck with Teenah who COMPLETELY SUCKS AS A CM!

Please stop attacking Vahn before we lose him too. :'(

^ BTW Vahn gave the community a 2nd chance after all the DSR death threats from BO2, he doesn’t deserve this!

If you must use a face, then please use Bobby Kotick’s face instead!…

      • Liam Luz

Vahn is awesome, but he’s already quitting from making CoD games after Black Ops 3 ;(

        • ccrows

*sigh* I hope you’re wrong, because IMHO Vahn looked burnt out towards the end of BO2, and the death threats (which were complete BS) took a toll on him when BO2 was ending. I mean you could see it in his final videos that he needed a break.

IDK if the SD are going to be the last straw, and I hope that they aren’t because Vahn is a gamer at heart.

But sadly Activision is F***ing all of this up, and who knows where Vahn’s head will be 3 years from now.

All I can do is hope for one more game from him, because all 3 BO games have kept me in the series, and while I am pissed off at today’s (hypothetical) news, BO3 is in my all time top 3 COD games, and that list goes all the way back to COD2 for me.

ONE MORE COD GAME VAHN!… :'(

          • ReignofTerror

Unless he was beheaded during the French Revolution, it’ll probably still be sitting on his shoulders 3 years from now

          • ccrows

IDK man, I hope you’re right, but IDK if he really wants to deal with Activision’s and the community’s BS anymore.

I think his passion as a dev is still there and will be there in 3, but I worry if he wants to deal with the rest of the BS TBH.

^ & I hope I’m wrong, cuz IMO he’s really the last good dev that we have left… 🙁

        • Tommy Ledge

He is retiring, not sure how you know (maybe the same way i do lol.) But, as you might also know he is not the main guy when it comes to MP, he is just the only ‘public’ figure. There is nothing suggesting that Dan Bunting is leaving or any other major changes to the Treyarch Design team, so i’d wouldn’t expect any dramatic changes to future titles.

      • Keshav Bhat

Hi. Teanah is not Infinity Ward’s CM.

        • Batman

huh? She literally does nothing then

          • Keshav Bhat

She changed positions. She is now the Multiplayer Production Coordinator. Former Naughty Dog Community person is the new Director of Comms at IW. Happened a several months ago.

          • ccrows

(being 100% sincere) Thanks for the update Kashav. 🙂

But with that said, there’s a ton of people that’s gonna pound the crap out of her Twitter, and most likely she will end up “still”being the punching bag for the next game… (especially if it is indeed space warfare)

          • Keshav Bhat

She probably will, but I feel like she might also announce she is not CM once game is announced. But don’t know yet.

          • Duke of hazard

“She is now the Multiplayer Production Coordinator”

            Oh no

          • ccrows

If the next game ends up being Space Warfare, does it even matter?

I like BO3 and all, but I’m at the point (going forward) of “Are we gonna get MW/MW2 in some form on this gen or no?”

^ Unfortunately for me, that decision whenever it’s officially made is all that I’m looking forward to.

Other than that, my interest in the next COD game is sadly at an all time low (if it is indeed SW)… 🙁

          • Duke of hazard

Who knows? I believe it since it’s from shinobi and he has been right many times. Since Teanah is in charge, expect somewhat decent ideas to be executed in the laziest way possible.

          • ccrows

I have no reason to doubt Shinobi, and I look at SW as a receipe for disaster coming down the road.

^ The majority of the community has been pretty vocal of bringing back “Boots on Ground” and I just don’t see that happening in the next game.

My gut feeling is that there will probably be some floating type of warfare going on somewhere in MP, and of course supply drops. Best of luck to Activision trying to sell SDs if the community ends up hating the game…

          • BradyAlucard[sillibk]

Her only experience is Community Manager of Ghosts, and probably being some lazy writer on IGN or wherever she was from. It’s going to flop hard conceptually speaking.

          • BradyAlucard[sillibk]

And so it begins. I’ll buy you a copy of the PS4 version of Titanfall 2 if you w-

Buy the Season Pass and 300 CoD Points to see the rest of this comment.

          • Duke of hazard

            Titanfall 2, here I come.

          • Keshav Bhat

Do you know what a Production Coordinator even does?

          • BradyAlucard[sillibk]

Do they coordinate the production? I’m such a douche.

        • ccrows

& that’s a good thing, cuz she truly sucked at being a CM.

Bowling, Vahn, Condrey actually worked with the community during the good times and bad. Teenah made sure to be out there during the good times, and completely “turtled” into her social life during the bad…

(& yes I get that Vahn and Condrey are devs, but those guys wearing multiple hats do/did a much better than what Teenah did as a CM that’s for sure)

          • Guest

Damn you guys are intense. You’re into Call of Duty community manager drama too? No sports or even Soap Operas where you live?

          • ccrows

I’m honestly a much bigger sports fan than COD, if you can believe that.

But COD (up to the point since COD2) has been important to me as well, but sadly IDK how much more that’s going to last…

  • Sal

    Nicely said.

  • BradyAlucard[sillibk]

It’s definitely the Black Jack. How do you sell yourself in Supply Drops? It’s simple, YouTubers do it on a daily basis.

    • BradyAlucard[sillibk]

And BE CAREFUL KESHAV, DON’T LET THE MAN HOLD YOU DOWN. Seriously, how is this legal on their part?

      • Guest

How is it illegal? It’s immoral of course and shitty as hell. Just not illegal since they provide a way without earning and worst case they can just say it’s “opitional” add on content smh.

What I don’t get is them hiding downloadable paintjobs not being implemented due to legal issues when they advertised doing it including in trailers. Like they came up without the idea without legal clearance lol. other games allow it too so I really don’t get it.

        • BradyAlucard[sillibk]

I agree. If price gouging wasn’t about necessities, then it’d be under that, but I’m sure under age gambling is a problem. This is all because of the invention of digital gaming and digital transactions. I can’t say I’m surprised, but I want it to end. Just microtransactions in general. I’d like some sort of law to be passed to make it illegal to overdo it and just offer the $60 price tag and maybe a $50 Season Pass, but I doubt it’d happen. It’s crazy how much money they’ve made from this whole thing.

  • MultiplayerCop

    Eat a dick Activisoo.

    • TheDemonOfHate

They’re still making the mullah at the end of the day.

  • dust&cheese

treyarch doesnt want this; activision just has them on a short leash.

    • Greg Sieracki

      Stop defending Treyarch!!!

  • ccrows

I’m typing this on my phone, so bear with me since I normally go keyboard.

F&F I want to THANK CI for being honest about this, no seriously you guys deserve props. (And for the regulars you know that I get very critical around here at times)

Second, here’s how I would handle the specialist situaltion:

Yes, I would put it in SDs

    BUT

I would also make it free for those that bought the season pass.

    PLUS

I would make it free for those that have EARNED & UNLOCKED the “Hero gear”.

^ IMHO That would make EVERYONE happy, and THX in advance for putting up with my poor typing in this post… 😉

    • Ak74u

Bullshit I wouldn’t even put him in supply drops or just for season pass owners I would make him free to everyone because a specialist? That’s more of a game changer than a DLC weapon

      • ccrows

You make a great point, but I still disagree. (hear me out first though)

IMHO nobody should get the new specialist unless they earn the Hero gear first. (you get to steal other specialists weapons.abilities, you should master them first)

^ BUT it’s common practice to have accelerator packs in other games, and season pass holders (IMO) have gotten shafted compared to the prev 3 COD games.

If people want to disagree with me, so be it, but I really do think that Blackjack should be “Earned” first, and no I don’t have the hero gear yet since I keep avoiding the Glitch, and rejack challenges, but that’s me…

    • Guywithbrains

I paid 100 euros for the base game with season pass. I thought I would get all in-game content but I guess I won’t (considering the fact that these supply drop weapons were supposed to be DLC weapons it makes me feel dissapointed).

      • ccrows

There HAS TO BE another way of getting this guy without SDs.

Whether it’s free to SP holders, or earned like the example that I used above, there just has to be another way.

As greedy and stupid as Activation can be, they have to have an idea of the insane damage that this would cause…

    • Keshav Bhat

Critical, yes, but not critical enough that your props mean anything significant in the grand scheme of CharlieIntel.

You deserve props for trying though.

      • ccrows

        Cool guest account Brah…

        • Keshav Bhat

  • jordanxbrookes

CharlieINTEL standing up against this Supply Drop bullshit? Is this a fake article? But seriously about time you guys said enough is enough about Activision’s disgusting business practices. Kudos ??

    • Its honestly common sense to stand up against Activision. The only reason anyone would ever support this disgusting system they call Supply Drops would be if they’re stroking Activision’s greedy cock

  • I wouldn’t be surprised if the new maps were only unlocked via supply drops in the near future.

    • TheDemonOfHate

      I highly doubt it.

      • I doubt it too, but if it does happen, it’ll come as no surprise.

Yeah that would totally screw player counts. For the few who would get the maps, couldn’t imagine how long they’d be waiting in lobbies.

    • Guest

Stop with this stupid joke especially if you’re being serious. Like I saw a few folks mention mention what good would supply drop maps be seeing as how most people in the community wouldn’t have access to play them. I’m sure Activision is planning more micro dlc but it’s not like map packs aren’t finished at launch them tweaked up until release

  • EA

As if Activision cares. Hundreds of thousands people will still buy Call of Duty Points and gamble away, especially when they put in another character.

This kind of microtransaction should be regulated as gambling (and should therefore be prohibited). So many people complain about Call of Duty and yet it’s always #1 seller. So many people complain about supply drops and yet they sell like them like hot cakes. People never change so no reason for Activision to do so.

    • BradyAlucard[sillibk]

Not defending Activision, but s it really gambling, though? It’s not price gouging, because that’s for necessities.

  • Classic Activision

    • FacialGaming

  • Ak74u

Ok so first they encourage gambling via supply drops, and now they are encouraging prostitution? And to make it all worse it’s a male selling his ass for money smh activision

    • Activision taking L’s left and right

    • Siftblade

      Lol!

    • ccrows

      Prostitution? LOL what?… 😉

    • BradyAlucard[sillibk]

      Wait what

  • LOL
    Source: TmarTn

    Can we trust that clown?

  • Ak74u

Being serious now, all I want to know is if it’s even legal what activision is doing. I mean $60 to $80 for one DLC weapon and its not even guaranteed the DLC weapon you want and that also counts melee weapons as DLC weapons. What happened to the old days when weapons came with DLC season pass? Like the peacekeeper, ripper or mavarick AR. Not to mention we already pay $60 for the game and another $50 for the season pass. This years season pass really came barebones

    • Aidan

Pretty sure at this point the chances of earning a lousy pair of Brass Knuckles is the equivalent to winning the lottery & getting the girl of your dreams in one day.

    • Vikerii

The only legal thing I wonder about is these supply drops are essentially a form of gambling. And since many of the gamers are below the legal age for gambling, could these companies be held responsibe for contributing?

      • TheLawMen

No. They are only accountable if the pay out was cash.

In this case, it is still seen as a simple transaction. An item for money.

It may not be the item you want, but you get something.

Gambling is when the probability to lose all exists. When ATVI starts making supply drops having a chance to drop empty, call a lawyer.

        • Vikerii

Ah, good explanation. Thanks. Although, losing all of one’s sanity is a probability in this case.

      • Kobrah

If they are under legal gambling age they shouldn’t be playing an R18+ game to start with. (In Australia at least)

    • Guest

Big businesses are smarter than us my man. You don’t think they checked the legalities of this? I mean look at what they did in AW. That was technically closer to pay to win than this is. For those who say minors play this well by law the game has an M rating so they can just hide behind that.

I mean it’s just shitty and worthy of all the outrage we give it. It’s not illegal. Besides I have so many movies and music downloaded so I’m the last one trying to get in legal disputes lol.

  • Dempsey935

Feel bad for Treyarch for being forced to use the blackmarket bullshit, dont be surprised if this shit is on COD 2016. Dont buy codpoints, they probably see the difference on the income after we started with #BlackMarketBlackout

    • Tommy Ledge

Treyarch isn’t being forced to do anything. They work under contract that they willingly signed. All you idiots think Treyarch has nothing to do with SD’s because someone said that ‘DV doesn’t like the idea of SD’s’.. Even IF DV doesn’t ‘like the idea’, that doesn’t mean Treyarch doesn’t like the idea.. He is just one person. And he’s not even the boss of MP, Dan Bunting is. People are just so gullible nowadays, they believe everything they ‘want’ to be believe, even if it is idiotically wrong.

  • Sentinel

    Blahh, The DOOM Beta is already out. Can’t wait till the download is finished so that I can play the shit out it! Ya’ll should too, it’s a awesome and gory distraction! (;

    • Aidan

I’ve played a bit of it. Not sure whether or not there are more than 2 maps, but that’s all I’ve been able to play, the two same maps. feels kinda unbalanced. I can empty 6 or 8 shells into someone with the shotgun, and nothing will happen, but it seems like I’m always getting killed after one shot.

Not only that, But I got really bored after the first 3 games :/

      • Sentinel

I just got to play it and to be honest, I found it very entertaining! I got to melee a lot of my opponents and it’s brutal! Plus I got to use the demon and devastated anyone on my path! & yes, it takes more than more shells to kill an enemy at a distance but two when they are close. I guess you got to check your connection of something…overall it is fun, mind you it’s a BETA.

    • Greg Sieracki

      It suck ass!!!

      • Sentinel

        To each it’s own.

        • 90sAIDS

          Cheer up friend!

  • YoungMurf

Haven’t played in two weeks and don’t intend to come back.. nice going Activi$ion you’ve lost a player that has been loyal since CoD3 but this shit has went too far!

  • ToonToons22

Specialist in supply drops? How the hell do you pack somebody in a supply drop?

But seriously, folks. Activision has taken pay to win and pay walls and bent them into a new, unprecedented display of selfishness and disrespect towards the Call of Duty community. I’ve been a loyal fan of this series since CoD3! I would have never thought back when I first started playing that a corporation’s dirty business tactics would be responsible for the death of Call of Duty!

Every CoD game has a campaign, and we are going to make our own. Boycott the Black Market and do everything needed to get Activision to wake up. There’s only one way to do this, and that’s to starve them of their money supply. Who’s with me?

  • Thug Turf

So I unlock the abilty to be the black market salesman by buying a supply drop from the black market salesman. GG Activision.

  • ShadowMaster862

Activision is seriously pushing it too far at this point. The breaking point feels closer then ever…

  • CJ

    I seen that coming.

  • Chris

I’m literally going to sell my game if they do this, I’ve always hated supply drops/money-milking dlc. Just release BO1 or MW2 on Backwards Compatibility, they’re just playing a game with us to milk every last cent before everyone quits this scam and plays a better quality/experience COD. Glad to see charlieintel taking a stand on this. This is BS.

Also, inb4 BO1/MW2 ends up being shitty for the xbox one than the 360, just to add insult to injury. Kind of like Halo Reach’s BC problems.

  • Heyyyy, that’s pretty good

    Heyyy, that’s pretty fucking retarded!

    • ScOott

          • Heyyyy, that’s pretty good

            Oh, shit…

  • Laddie

Ayy lmao wow, TOTALLY didn’t see this one coming. If this honestly happens, it looks like zombies will be the only thing I see myself playing for this game. This is beyond ridiculous. There are better games out now, and soon, to be playing anyways

  • beamer

And this newest 60key drop where you are guaranteed some crap taunt? I’d pay for a 100 cryptokey drop IF it guaranteed I’d have a rare or better with NO duplicates. Doesnt do a lot of good to burn duplicates when 28 of 30 items are dupes.

    • BradyAlucard[sillibk]

Or, why not have a guaranteed weapon, because the fucking Maverick and Ripper were, what, $3-4.99 each? Or, better yet, include them in the Season Pass? I think we all know the answer, tbh. Doesn’t matter if it’s overpriced, they’re probably making more money than Advanced Warfare Supply Drops, now.

      • darren

Doubtful. The whole reason why they “forced” weapons into Supply Drops, was because they weren’t selling. In AW, chances were decent that you would get SOMETHING you didn’t have, unless you had almost everything. BO3 only has 4 weapons that aren’t melee weapons. Advanced Warfare had 300+ weapons, not counting the 1,000+ cosmetic items, which were head, chest, pants, shoes, exo. BO3 only has head and body items. I’m not saying they don’t sell, but I doubt it’s even close. A lot of people had a bad taste in their mouth after AW. (I know I did.)
I wouldn’t pay to try to get these weapons, because I wouldn’t get the HG-40 or the MX-Garand. If I did get a weapon, I would get the Brass Knuckles or Iron Jim or some such stupid shit.

  • sam

    Titanfall 2 anybody xD?

    • ccrows

      *Pfffffft* No thanks.

I’ll wait for that to fall into the $10 bin like OG TF, which was only a few months after TF failed.

I will be looking for a legit WWII shooterinstead like either “Days of War” or “Battalion 1944” instead…

      • darren

        Battalion 1944 looks awesome!

  • Gamerazor247

Active Vizion and Treyarch are pretty retarded, but they’re not THAT retarded..
Edit: Oh wait, it’s from Tmartn, well than…

    • ccrows

      No…

  • LovekillerX

If this rumor is true they shouldn’t just put it in supply drops. You should be able to either buy it straight using real money or get it for free if you own a season pass.

Of course free update is always better option… but I don’t think they would just give it away for free.

  • DEMOLITION12

new rumour: the next cod is called black ops 3 2
are you gonna write an article about that now?

  • Guywithbrains

This makes supply drops even more pay to win. I am already losing my gunfights to HG-40 with rapid fire. Now they are adding even more things that make another player almost invincible.

Also this same leak was leaked by same Reddit user who knew weapons are coming to supply drops before they actually did. He also knew the names of these weapons.

    • LovekillerX

HG40 is a beast! Everyone just kept dying when I picked that beast weapon from the ground. Just use rapid fire to make it shoot faster and use grip to make it lose recoil.

  • ccrows

    Plot twist,

TmarTn was the 11th specialist all along… 😉

    • jooker-jr

I would immediately stop playing cod… FOREVER !

  • joey

seeing as i’m basically a one game-gamer, i’m hoping a non-activision release will steal me away from cod. haven’t tried halo yet; ditto with doom. in fact, i’ve really only played cod.

any reccomendations would be highly appreciated. my only precondition: if we’re equating the new game with a fast food restaurant, i don’t want to have to pay exorbitant prices for the mere chance of acquiring their specialty sauces n’ condiments. no what i mean?

    • YoungMurf

Halo 5 is awesome, new updates every month like playlists, maps etc. If looking to get a game with a bang for your buck and full of content I definitely would recommend Halo 5.

    • darren

Try The Division. It’s pretty much all I’ve been playing.

  • darren

    If true:
#1.) I could “believe” a specialist based on the Blark Market guy, but the ability to steal other specialist weapons/abilities, would be stupid, imo. Would his “ability” would also then be tricky to get, right, if his ability requires whoever’s weapon/ability to be active in the first place? Or would he just be able to pick and choose whenever he wants, without the other’s being active first? That’s why I think his “ability” to be true.
#2.) It would almost NOT surprise me if it wasn’t in the Supply Drop.

What I DONT get about all of this Supply Drop bullshit, is Treyarch originally came up with dlc weapons and camos. Now, Treyarch was “forced” to put weapons in Supply Drops. If Treyarch really didn’t want weapons in Supply Drops, then right alongside the Supply Drop weapons, they should be releasing other, different free guns for evryone, and call it a “game update.”. For each dlc pack, there should be another free gun with it. So season pass holders don’t feel like they are getting the shaft. Comply with Activisions bullshit, but make it right for the fans. Who said weapons could ONLY be released thru Supply Drops?

Three developers, and it is going to come down to which one has the balls to make things right again with the fans. And I hope that dev is Treyarch.

That’s my take, and if they were able to do that, I think fans would be open to that. At least I would be. As it is now, it is a complete and utter rip off. It sucks, but those odds for Supply Drops, worked for AW, because there was 300+ weapons. When there are, what, 4 weapons that actually launch a projectile, (looking at you, ShadowClaw,) those odds no longer work.

  • Donovan McMinn

Everybody saying that charlieintel said these things are wrong look at the source it was from tmartn who said this. hello guys

  • christopher woodhead

If this turns out to be true, which I think it will be, then it’s utter bullshit.
Any new specialist should be included in the next Map Pack, not put in the scam that are the supply drops.
I think this year’s COD will be a failure; people are mad about Supply Drops, sick of futuristic themes and have no faith in Infinity Ward. I won’t be getting COD this year. Or if I do it will be second hand.

  • What did the indian boy say to his mother when she left ?

    Mumbai.

    • lunator100hd .

      Aaaaaaaa what?

      • Mumbai is a place in india and it sounds like “mum bye”.

        • FacialGaming

    • Vikerii

Meh. I wouldn’t open your comedy club act with that.

  • Brayden LaFromboise

Why doesn’t Treyarch make the specialist available , but instead of putting him in supply drops he can be bought with Cryptokeys like each of his abilities are 60 Cryptokeys so you just save up Cryptokeys making it available for everybody

  • Daniel

I have to say though this is slightly misinformed, the leaked sound files reveal that the 10th specialist doesnt have anything unique and is just a “wild card”, basically he’s only as good as the specialist you choose him to emulate pre game, it’s purely cosmetic, and it’s just for people that ,say, like the annihilator but dislike Seraphs quotes

  • Buruck Obuma

you know what i actually think that…

(Rest of joke available in supply drops)

  • Fly Mann13

This info is old, Ali-a already talked about this a few weeks ago, also saying about how the black jack was in the files.

  • BradyAlucard[sillibk]

    Activision, go f-

Buy a Supply Drop to see the rest of this comment
    *fade to black*
*won’t find out what happens until CoD 2016*

Wow, a supply drop comment joke? I’ll give you some new and original material…Pull my finger /s

      • BradyAlucard[sillibk]

You’re still bitching, even though I attempted to add a little to it? Tough crowd. Tough, tough butthurt crowd.

        Aidan is Negan

  • Jomeli

If this is true I think I am ready to move on from CoD

  • Mango Country

I think this is fine, yall are just salty because you dont want to grind the game. I like supply drops and i hope this rumor is true.

    • Mikey9835

      Lol good joke

      • Mango Country

Im completely serious, im glad we have weapons in supply drops because it keeps them from being overused, same thing with the new specialist, i dont want everyone to use it.

        • Mikey9835

It’s your opinion and your entitled to it, but there are level 1000’s without any of the new weapons, and then all of a sudden XxXFazeXx comes along and nabs most of the weapons by paying through the nose, does that sound fair to you?

          • Mango Country

I dont care about fair, i have like 7 wepaons and i’ve gotten them all through cryptos, tbh cryptos has kept me playing this game everyday since launch, tbh if wasnt for cryptos i wouldn’t play bo3 as much as i do, it adds a fun factor knwing theres still things i can unlock. Plus it makes having one of these weapons cooler because they’re rare. Tbh all of yall are just cry babys. You dont need the weapons, you want them.

          • Dickmissle

You are really just a no life or a very special kid I mean do you want to look back and say oh what’s a sun or who I should have lived my life when I was young but I’m not salty just criticizeing something stupid I have spent 170 $ on this game not one weapon prestige five played both 2x cryptokey weekends so don’t be dick because you have dumb luck you ingrate

        • Dickmissle

Cunt You worthless welfare bastard get a damn job or Another one because you have to much free time I can tell how much of a dick you are because of the doge picture but just go fuck yourself and your shitty opinion I bet if mustard gas started going off and you saw a dying kid and there was a gas mask you would go I don’t want everybody to have one

  • Mikey9835

The future is black indeed. If this rumour is true, I will literally stop playing MP and move over to Zombies, at least activision can’t fuck that up. (hopefully) As much as I despise the supply drop system however, a simple hash tag won’t be enough to make an impact, if the community wants change, we will all have to show it.

Besides, Zombies is really fun. Even if you had trouble getting into the old zombie maps, you should definately try these ones out, Jason blundell and the team did a great job, and I would even say that its worth getting the season pass just for more zombies.

We could even dust off the classic cod games and start playing them again, to show activision we’re serious.

Also no one can defend activision for this. BO3 alone sold way more copies than advanced warfare during launch, it was the best selling game of 2015, they’re getting promoted by playstation at events and such, and they make millions daily through microtransactions in games such as candy crush, so clearly they have the money to keep their servers going, they are just getting greedy at this point.

Sorry if this seemed like im butthurt, but I’m very passionate about this franchise, and I atleast want to see it die with some integrity.

  • Iggy

I hope they do it for the ****ery

  • SilentNova

Fellas, remember when people were saying “Titanfall will kill Call of Duty”?, or when people said “Destiny will kill Call of Duty”? Nah son, Supply Drops will kill Cod

    • jooker-jr

I think someone said something similar to : TF won’t kill cod, destiny won’t cod, cod will kill cod.

I starting to feel he’s right.

  • Tommy Ledge

I rather have a game that isn’t designed for little kids, and that doesn’t compress the skill gap to almost nothing so that every halfway average kid can dominate any given game. BO3 is the fisher-price version of first person shooters, and that is far more discouraging than items in SD’s.

  • ccrows

TBH I’m kinda blown away ATM with how many YTers that are jumping on board against this, and I hope Activision realizes this before going forward.

At this point, they might as well just give him away for free.

They’re gonna lose more money long-term if they don’t let the community win this one…

    • BradyAlucard[sillibk]

Technically, they’re losing money long-term by not nickle and diming us more and more. No matter what the scenario is, we’re going to lose.

      • ccrows

        Not necessarily.

There’s a threshold where people get to a point of saying enough is enough, and then leave. If people leave, then they aren’t buying MTs, or perhaps even the next COD game. Possibly even leave for good.

Personally I want to see the series live, but there needs to be a line drawn to where enough is enough, and not go over that.

With that said, I’m sure that Activision is crunching the numbers to get the most money. However (IMO) they are playing with fire with the community ATM, and it’s a shame because IMHO they really do have a good thing going with this game…

  • Marcell Evans

Am level 240 I earned a ton of crypto keys haven’t got anything but a butterfly knife since day1.. they ripping us off .and to make a balance some where

    • BradyAlucard[sillibk]

It’s funny because all we needed to get weapons in older Call of Duty games were to either buy the Season Pass or buy them individually, even if they were way overpriced. This is more than overboard. Do these YouTubers seriously think that an HG-40 or NX Shadowclaw were worth the hundreds of dollars of attempts? They say so in their videos. Battlefield offers so much more via its Premium service. About as much as the weapons in the Supply Drops, so Activision is really getting bad; so bad that this is arguably the worst business decision in gaming I’ve ever seen.

      • Still not as bad as EA

        • BradyAlucard[sillibk]

EA doesn’t put microtransactions this bad to their AAA games.

        • jooker-jr

Tbh, I’m starting to think that EA is way better than Activision

    • Aidan

The only new Item I’ve ever received was Dip Low for battery.

      • Marcell Evans

        Damn

  • Diego Diniz

    FAKE! Next…

    • Aidan

Would you be surprised if it was true?

      • Diego Diniz

New Specialist via Supply Drop??? Cmon…people complaining about WEAPONS…now imagine a new Specialist…

  • sam

Lets face it you will have loads of time to unlock this stuff xD who in the right mind would buy space warfare or whatever shit they’ll call it this November. I’ll call it now bf5 and titanfall 2 will destroy the fake infinity wards next game.

  • A pretty good video talking about supply drops.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kaNbJCBnlPE

  • Michael✓ᴺᵃᵗᶦᵒᶰᵃˡᶦˢᵗ

What did you expect was going to happen when you saw huge Youtubers spending thousands on Advanced Warfare and now BO3? Thanks to them, supply drops are here to stay. Clowns like Tmartn spent how much money on supply drops in AW/Bo3 and now he wants to complain? Hahahahahahaha

  • TfarTn

    This is so hawt.

      You’re a wanker.

        lol ye$ that’$ right, I totally forgot….

  • Bengal Tigger

Finally Keshav. Lets backlash at ATVI

  • lunator100hd .

And what if other publishers like EA see that shit and put supply drops in their games too. Imagine Titanfall 2 with supply drops, hahahaha the disaster has no end.

    • EA already have supply drops, in their games like Fifa and 2k it’s called Packs where you can get players. Thats where Activision got the idea from. EA fans have been dealing with this BS for years.

      • lunator100hd .

Really? i didint know, i dont play sports games. Finger crossed for tf2, this game has potential to be something.

            Titanfall 2.

    • GinsuVictim

      Battlefield has ’em.

  • Riskninja

You know it’s bad when CI says that AW had done something better than BO3

  • Mr_ysi42t96

Anyone seen the fight between driftor and whiteboy?

  • Surprised Activision haven’t told CI to take this down.
It would make more sense for Activision to give this free to Season Pass holders to further maximise the £34.99 SP sales, which would encourage people who don’t buy Supply Drops to bite the bullet and spend another £35. Then to just continue adding weapons in Supply Drops for the rest of the year.
The right thing to do right now is to put it in the game free for all.

  • I <3 Activision

Oh get over it people. If you don’t like it; don’t play the game. People just persistently moan about Supply Drops and then buy them anyway so it’s no wonder Activision continue with this revenue stream. The Call of Duty community these days are hypocrites and mugs that will never learn.

    • lunator100hd .

      I dig it.

  • TRINI REAPER

Outrageous, season pass holders such as myself are getting bullshit, you might as well put in the DLCs in the supply drops too eh, Activision? You might as well call the algorithm “supply drop” system a scheme drop, when it gives us unwanted useless taunts, gestures, guns (with no effect), armors/helmets and with TOOLS now? The double crypto-key weekend is more like a regular rate of CKs when the game first came out. And now, they want to use the black market dude as the 10th specialist which can be EARNED through supply drops? You want us to waste our money getting absolutely NOTHING through the supply drops but yet ADD the DLC specialist in the supply drops? I’m out, done with COD, there’s no more COD anymore, after Advanced Warfare things changed plenty. COD 2016/ Ghosts 2 won’t be so different, guaranteed.

  • I agree that particular Youtubers are the cause for all of this Supply Drop nonsense. They spend hundreds and thousands of dollars on supply drop bundles just so they could make a profit by posting “Case Opening” videos! However, I’ve followed charlieINTEL for years and they’ve never once sucked Activision’s dick, they simply report the latest news & leaks to the community. They’re on our side people..

  • jooker-jr

TBH, if the next cod has a similar supply drop system, then I’m getting Titanfall 2 and ONLY Titanfall 2.

    • Justus Maximus

I agree. Im still hoping Battlefield will return to its WW2 roots. Cos than i’ll be getting BF5 for sure. And combine it with Titsnfall 2

      • jooker-jr

        I’ll also get BF5.

Same bro black ops 3 is doing me good right now but I’m getting sick of not getting the weapons I want from supply drops and I refuse to spend tons of money on supply drops so if the next cod doesn’t cut it and still has supply drops I’m picking up Titanfall besides the first one wasn’t bad and they are the original infinity ward. Tired of grinding for supply drops and not getting shit

    • I’m gonna get BF5 and maybe that years Assassins creed depending on what fuckery Ubisoft tries to pull.

      • lunator100hd .

Ubisoft has stated that the next Assassins creed title will skip this year so devs have enought time to make a really immersive and innovative game next year. im not 100% sure tho.

        • LovekillerX

This is correct. They are doing next Watch Dogs.

          • lunator100hd .

I hope its not garbage like the first one.

          • LovekillerX

Well it wasn’t THAT bad but sure it needs changes.

          • lunator100hd .

It was a poor GTA wannabe.

        • Let’s see what Ubisoft can do with 2 years, hopefully it’s not a glitchfest.

      • jooker-jr

        I also getting BF5.

Eclipse DLC now available! Download it on PSN… 6,9GB

    • I can’t find it, where do you get it from?

EDIT: I went onto add-ons too, it ain’t there either bruh

      • LovekillerX

People who own season pass can’t download it yet. Also it depends on where you live. I heard European people who don’t have season pass can download it.

        • I live in UK and have season pass and can’t even find out.

  • fr4gbob

I hope it is in supply drops, I like free stuff

  • OpinionsAreFrownedUpon

If you still support Activision if this rumor is true. Thank you for being a cancerous gamer. Now drink bleach.

  • Xx_ZOMBIE_xX

Or maybe just put it into he game for everyone. Thats a good idea

  • Sanincorp123

You’re right bo3 is supposed to be the best game since mw3 but even halo is getting more likes

  • TheMichaelMoran

I’ve definitely seen a new Specialist – or a REALLY weird supply-dropped look for an existing one – in-game. Someone in a lobby I was in had a kind of 1940s-looking guy in a brown leather coat. I guess I should have screencapped it but I was too busy trying to work out why that game lobby was lagging so severely!
