This year’s Call of Duty title will be the first Call of Duty that extends beyond Earth. Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare takes players to space in its new story, and Infinity Ward talked about the inspiration for this in a new interview with GameSpot.

The story’s inspiration is not sci-fi, according to Design Director Jacob Minkoff, rather, its from other war stories.

“The approach that we’ve been taking with this game… the inspirations don’t come from sci-fi or space in any way,” Minkoff said. “The inspirations come from war stories. This is Call of Duty. We are talking about warfare and in this case Infinite Warfare… what we feel is that classically told narratives can take place in any setting.”

Minkoff stated that when human beings are placed under pressure “interesting things happen.” But he also clarified and re-stated that there are no aliens in Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare. It’s all man vs. man.

“It’s man vs. man. The truth is that war follows us everywhere,” he said. “We feel like this is going to give you the trademark Call of Duty feeling no matter what setting we’re in. And fundamentally there is never fatigue for a good story well told, no matter what the genre.”

Did It kinda of seem a little like Normandy to you

      • Dickmissle

Damn now that I saw the screen shots I was off ts more mw2 when the Rangers take back Washington

    • CoDforever

Really? It reminded me exactly of AW. Tbh, AW is all I saw in that trailer except that space scene. That was dope.

    • Element115Will

What CoD game did you get reminded of based on this trailer? To me, it reminded me of MW2 AFTER the mission Second Sun.

      • ScOott

I’m not sure it just had that vibe of the older MW games as in I can see us caring about these characters, plus I think theres going to be more character development compared to bo3 fo sho, I think that’s something bo3 did really poorly..

As for it being like a.w I think a.w made the mistake of putting in performances from known actors rather than character development, but it still better than how bo3..

Again all this is just from a trailer lol, I could be completely wrong lol..

        • Red.P90

I personally thought bo3 did a great job with the campaign. Unless you have the brain of a child, you could kinda get a sense of what’s going on. I had to watch a YouTube video to get the full breakdown of the campaign. AW just felt very repetitive and the training mission was way too long and pointless. It was very single laned even with the movement. Bo3 felt more open and intuitive. Only thing I have to complain about Bo3 was the mission where you had to fly the jet. Idk why treyarch are obsessed with jet missions since bo2.

          • ScOott

“you had to Watch a YouTube video” lol.. I don’t need to say no more..

What does character development have to do with having a brain?

Maybe u should engage urs before commenting.

          • Red.P90

I mean unless you completely analyzed the campaign there is no way in hell you’ll completely understand what’s going on. And there’s nothing wrong with watching YouTube videos for info lol. Have you never watched a YouTube video for zombie Easter eggs, Trophies, etc..? And I do admit that you comparing the character development of the two games completely went pass my head. And I agree with you on your statement.

    • Ak74u

Alein co-op would of fit well for them

    • RdJokr

I just hope that the Settlement Defense Front is the actual villain we’re up against. Ghosts tried to hype up the Federation, and the guy who was supposed to be their leader showed up for 2 seconds before getting shot (or stabbed, I don’t remember too well), and then we’re back to Rorke the Brainwasher.

  • Mr awesome

    Secund

  • Rorke File

I really want to see if they listened to the feedback of Ghosts in Multiplayer perspective.

    • J4MES

I don’t want to see a SATCOM or IED for sure! If any of that’s in; then I’m out!

      • Rorke File

I’m also interested in the map design for sure!

  • Axel Noir

So if that’s the case, why is it in space again ?

    • Activison demanded futuristic games with new movement, it was too late for any of the studios to take back what they’ve done when all the whiny kids started crying about the movement after crying for 8 years about the games being ” same-y “.

  • Definitely explains why this game gives a more ” war sucks ” rather than ” war is fucking cool as shit dude check this awesome plane crashing wall running explosionfare out man ” tone this game gives.

    • Dickmissle

Those are always the cods mws waw and well that’s about it

  • LovekillerX

Other planets are nice addition to story although it gives me Destiny vibes. But damn that last planet in the reveal trailer… and that scenery… so beautiful!

    • J4MES

Too bad we’ll probably only see it in one overly-scripted, linear mission!

      • LovekillerX

I prefer linear mission any day.

    • lunator100hd .

It was probably Mars , a multiplayer map in Mars would be so cool.

      • LovekillerX

I can’t wait to see MP maps with other planets in the sky forming a beautiful scenery. 🙂

    • DeadZombieGaming 12

Pretty sure that it’s one of the moons of Jupiter probs

  • Didn’t know we had wars in space. Is ‘Murrica going at it again?

  • zack

Sounds interesting…also bog and overgrown were confirmed for MWR

    • GinsuVictim

      Never cared much for Bog.

  • CoD LeGeNd

There is absolutely no point in the campaign whatsoever. After all the hype of BO3; I finished that in 4 hours 58 minutes on veteran and the story was a complete joke and the writing was appalling. They always come out with how the latest campaign has the longest, best and most ambitious but they get more stupid and worse every time. I’m just looking forward to All Ghillied Up Remastered and if I wanted to fly spaceships; I’d go play Star Citizen, Elite Dangerous or No Mans Sky instead of doing some scripted BS mission with boost jumping and robots. Embarrassing

    • BO3’s singleplayer even with the twist was definitely terrible IMO, but they really did do good on WAW, BO1 and BO2.

Strange the same guys who made those made BO3.

      • J4MES

Now developers have free reign with the futuristic setting; things just get barmy and it feels rather immature and nonsensical for a once-serious brand.

    • Michael Romo

BO3’s campaign was pretty good. It was more psychological than anything else, but the story was good, and the synopsis was better

    • DeadZombieGaming 12

As if CoD 4 didn’t have scripted missions m8

  • lunator100hd .

Infinity warfare’s campaign is based on the war for the control of resources in our solar system, this is something that actually may happen in some point in future when our planet runs out of resourses, so its not exactly sci-fi.

    • Guywithbrains

You are right. And now that you said it I think theme of Inifinite Warfare’s story sounds awesome.

Haters gonna hate I guess. “But muh already-done-to-death ww2!!!11”

      • LovekillerX

WW2 makes things so limited. With future setting you can use your imagination and create something new.

        • So true

        • Smayo

Like exo movements…. turned out pretty well I must say….

        • BradyAlucard[sillibk]

Yeah, but not very many players like the futuristic setting. They could easily do many things with WW2; like alternate history.

      • Kinda like how the future setting is being done to death now?

      • Ed

When was the last epic CoD game fully set in WW2? World at War, and that’s only a year younger than CoD 4. We have YET to see a game like MoH: AA or CoD 2 in the modern day graphics. Yes, WW2 has been overdone, but again, name the last WW2 game where we have THESE kind of graphical improvements.

There are ALOT of possibilities for WW2 games. The only reason people think it’s redundant is because they overuse the same moments (D-Day). Not a lot of games tackle the Italian campaign, North Africa, the American territories, or even the Pacific theather is not as nearly as common as you think. In fact, CoD 5 was the only CoD game set in the Pacific.

There isn’t a whole lot of limitations to customization either. Sure, it’s not nearly as close to the modern day, but things like foregrips, improved bolts, and extended magazines existed.

I could go on and on about the possibilities developers can do with WW2 games, but there is a reason why people, like me, want them.
We’re fucking sick of modern day and futuristic bullcrap. For the last couple of years, Destiny, Titanfall, Battlefield, CoD, Medal of Honor, Halo… The amount of futuristic/modern settings has been overdone even more than WW2. The reason why we don’t want CoD to go further in the future is because of it’s original roots. If you want space sci-fi stuff, play Halo, Destiny, Titanfall, Battlefront, etc.

      • Ed

Monte Cassino, Kasserine Pass, Attu Island, New Guenia, the Philippines, there are ALOT of fronts and battles developers still have yet to tackle.

Personally, I’m waiting for another game with a narrative similar to that of Spec Ops: The Line, and WW2 is a perfect time period for that.

    • RIPCOD

Stop trying to desperately defend a stupid story from an even stupider developer and bad writers. This game is pure sci-fi and they cannot justify it otherwise. It wont hold a candle to Modern Warfare Remastered’s campaign in terms of quality, story and how Call of Duty should be. And I thought fighting robots on a train was stupid enough but as usual; CoD has to sink to new lows to the extent; even Gingerbread men in Advanced Warfare seemed more realistic.

      • lunator100hd .

Im not trying to defend anything, i just point out the obvious that many haters like you blindly refuse to see. Infinity warfare is futuristic but not sci-fi. Its not on the same category with star wars, destiny and halo. This is what i always liked about cod, the fact that the story may not be real but is believable and plausible.

      • Michael Romo

“Stupider”. But yeah, Sledgehammer had the bad writers ?

      • Michael Romo

Of course you’re going to like MW Remastered better. It’s the game that everyone loved at first. Then the devs try to change it up and everyone complains

        • Smayo

I’m making strawberry buns, everybody loves my strawberry buns

of course I have to change it up a little bit from time to time by adding something to it (sugar, mint leaves etc) but it always stay strawberry buns

Now I decided to make forest fruit buns instead of strawberry buns, and although some people like it, most still prefer my strawberry buns.

I’m selling less and less buns every year now….

But I keep my forest fruit buns…

          • ScOott

Lmao I gotta try one of ur strawberry buns :p

      • DeadZombieGaming 12

We do have 2 naughty dog devs bruh
One as a Narrative Director and another one as a Lead Game Designer

  • Sounds interesting so far. I’m excited, but cautious.

  • dust&cheese

feels like IW is desperately trying to create an early fan base for a game that’s already deemed a miss. think about it… you’re so unsure of infinite warfare that you need to bundle a prior success to keep people interested? noone even cares about COD 16 everyone just wants the remaster.

    • Keshav Bhat

I’m so confused about this. Why is the game a miss? Why does it suck? We haven’t played it yet. We haven’t seen gameplay, just a reveal trailer. How can it suck?

      • LovekillerX

It isn’ their almighty Treyarch. It would be great if IW wouldn’t have developed it.

IW deserves a chance. People didn’t want Ghosts 2 and now they don’t want IW. IW just can’t win.

        • Keshav Bhat

I’m super excited to play IW and COD4.

          • LovekillerX

I’m more excited to play IW. Especially campaign.

          • CoDforever

If you can actually seamlessly transition to space from earth on your space ship, then holy shit

          • CoDforever

Michael Condrey has a 4 letter unamed cod in his bio, only game that could be is WaW2?

          • Kermit the Drug Addict

What bio are you referring to? His Twitter bio?

          • CoDforever

            yeah

        • CoDforever

People were pretty skeptical of bo3 at reveal too though.

        • Bullshit. People were shitting on the future setting last year too when BO3 got announced

      • Wizga

Community has been demanding for a WW/Vietnam COD since the reveal of AW! Yet they got futuristic ones instead.

        • Keshav Bhat

Community has been demanding a game after AdvancedWarfare came out, which means Infinity Ward had this game in development for over a year and a half. They cannot scrap an idea and redo a whole game in 1.5 years…

      • ScOott

People are just worried about multilplayer, worry is turning into frustration.. That whole face book thing man, “boots on ground” then the next day people are talking about boost jumping and chain movments..

Soon as people know more about the multiplayer the better, it could be better than bo3 but at the same time Cod isn’t what it used to be, u can’t just go into the next game being hopefull.. Soon as the movment gets confirmed people might calm down abit..

        • CoDforever

i dont really care if its boots on the ground or not, i actually like bo3 movement idk why people hate it so much its actually pretty good

only thing that needs to go is specialists imo

          • ScOott

I could live with bo3 movment, 100 percent prefer boots on ground tho..

          • CoDforever

idk why people automatically assume any boots on the ground game = automatically good. If its as bad as ghosts then why bother. Plus IW might make greater use of Treyarchs movement for all we know.

We also have the cod4 remake as well if anyone wants boots on the ground

          • ScOott

Ghosts would of been a good game if it wasnt for ttk.. I’d still go back and play it if they had manage to sort that out..

          • CoDforever

Not really. The maps, killstreaks, spawns etc really sucked. That game was just bland as hell overall.

But I agree that this should be the last year for any advanced movement. Maybe a return to boots on the ground next year and advanced movement the year after that.

        • Michael Romo

CoD will never be the same, and people need to accept that. I’m looking forward to IW more than CoD 4 because we have all played CoD 4, and IW is something new. I’m open minded to the idea of CoD going into space

    • Michael Romo

They are doing the remaster because, although people are loving the new games, they want the option to go back and play their favorites which have been filled with hackers.

      • “Although people are loving the new games”

I don’t even think you believe that statement.

  • CoDforever

The trailer has over 105,000 dislikes. Sheesh.

    • LovekillerX

But the community has millions of players. We are having vocal minority. They end up buying the game anyways.

      • CoDforever

This is by far the most disliked COD trailer.

Seriously, the like-dislike ratio is almost 50%.

        • LovekillerX

It still doesn’t correlate with the actual number of players that buy and play the game at least a month.

          • CoDforever

In comparison, the second most disliked cod trailer is Bo2. And that only has 58,000 dislikes in 4 years while IW has 112,000 in less than 24 hours.

          • LovekillerX

BO2 must be crap then if it has second most dislikes?

          • CoDforever

yeah but bo2 has 3x more likes to make up for it .. unlike AW which has a little more likes then dislikes ..

          • Guywithbrains

Look at Ghosts reveal trailer… 143 000 likes and only 20 000 dislikes. So we should not guess incoming Call of Duty game’s success based on like/dislike ratio of videos on Youtube.

^ If we used this logic Ghosts should be a much bigger success than it really is.

Also take into account that nowadays people dislike only because of blind hate or for nostalgia (no ww2 or Vietnam = dislike).

    • J4MES

      Likes 126,255 Dislikes 112,456

Ouch! It may only be a minor thing but it does speak volumes on how the community perceive the game so far and Activision may feel a bit worried..

      • Drank Bleach

That’s why I still believe infinite warfare sales would be very low, hence why they remastered cod4.

        • J4MES

Yep, MW:R is is just bait to buy Infinite Warfare. If it was just IW on its own or if MW:R was sold separately; IW would not stand a chance.

    • QuickzZ-_-GhosT

The hate is real on this one.

  • Wizga

Damn…Community is showing their true face.
Feel sorry for Infinity Ward. Their getting that “Ghosts experience” all over again but worse.

    • CoDforever

Just look at the dislike ratio on the trailer holy shit

    • YoungMurf

Nearly the same amount of dislikes as there is likes 😮 people are pissed already!

      • Dickmissle

I’m actually excited about this one

        • YoungMurf

I’m honestly more excited for the MW remaster but definitely gonna give this a try.. there are already people saying they are gonna throw away IW as soon as they get it but I think it’s worth trying out.

          • Dickmissle

It seems like a ww2 situation at least at one point in the trailer seemed like it

          • Dickmissle

Ww2 in the future not really ww2 but futuristic

    • Wherever IW has gone, hate followed.

      • Michael Romo

        I feel bad for IW

    • GinsuVictim

It has been posted on sites that hate CoD, so that’s where a lot of the hate is coming from. I think most actual fans are pretty psyched.

  • Kermit the Drug Addict

I’m gonna pity Infinity Ward, Treyarch and Sledgehammer for a moment because of how bad for I feel for all three developers, especially now. To everyone pissed off about Infinite Warfare’s existence, just remember that it’s your fault that the game exists. It’s pretty hard for the Call of Duty developers to make a game that pleases you when you yourselves literally never even know what the fuck you want. I mean, three years back, you all hated and were sick of WWII and modern CoD games and were grasping at straws for something “different and innovative”. So the trio of CoD devs decided to all try out the future setting, and now you loathe it because of your own requests. I see some comments saying that “this isn’t what we mean’t when we wanted something different”. If so, then what do you want? It’s not like IW decided to make Infinite Warfare purposely to piss you all off, this game started development when you weren’t sick of the future setting. They can’t just scrap 2+ years of development. Honestly, I wouldn’t blame the devs for hating all of you. But anyways, that’s all I wanted to say., just had to get that off my chest. Sorry if I came off like a dick, but this needed to said.

    • Smayo

Sick of the modern setting ? We had 3 whole games over the time span 2007 to 2011 who’s timeline was modern, from then on till 2014 we had slight futuristic settings (Bo2 and Ghosts) and between those all we had a WW2 setting in 2008 and a cold war setting in 2010.

Nobody was sick of the modern timeline, even the slight futuristic settings where accepted, the problems began when SHG decided that it was a good idea to chance the way you’d play CoD by adding in exo movements, was it different ? For sure. But was it want the (majority of the) community wanted ? Absolutely not. And that is why people are now sick of futuristic CoD’s not because of the space timeline but because of the movement system, IW in space but with BotG would’ve been much better received then it is now, and after the shit storm AW started they had enough time to change their movement system, it’s not like they had to trow out their complete game by then, but they decided not to do so… and that is most likely the reason we get MW remaster now…

      • Michael Romo

Ghosts may have taken place in the future, but it was still modern-like

        • Smayo

That’s why I called it slightly futuristic, which was mostly shown by its gun attachments and killstreaks, those didn’t cause any out cry from the community.

Advanced movements are, and it’s IW who is going to catch a lot of shit for what SHG started when they made that idiotic decision to change CoD’s gameplay.

    • Ak74u

I don’t mind the futuristic setting at all I actually kinda like it, I just dislike the “advanced movement” because it ruins the flow of the game. I’m fine with sliding but that’s about it

    • Michael✓ᴺᵃᵗᶦᵒᶰᵃˡᶦˢᵗ

I’m pretty sure the people complaining about COD “being the same every year” was by people who didn’t even enjoy the franchise to begin with…

      • GinsuVictim

I prefer it to stay pretty much the same, just change slightly. Make improvements, sure, but keep the core of the gameplay where we’ve loved it.

        • Michael✓ᴺᵃᵗᶦᵒᶰᵃˡᶦˢᵗ

imo, MW3 to BO2 was a slight change that I actually liked. Bo2 to ghost was fine but Ghost was horrible because of the maps.

          • GinsuVictim

Well, I love Ghosts, but I hear ya.

          • Mizhe5

Just remember that right now you’re pretty much saying that all fans and CoD players are unhappy, pissed off, bored but ultimately don’t know what they want.

A lot of players, actually, more than half the community love where the franchise is heading. Otherwise, these futuristic setups wouldn’t have been introduced either by Sledgehammer Games or Treyarch and now, Infinity Ward for 2016.

As for the developers, they are the ones who wanted to go future and explore that avenue with Call of Duty. They are artists and designers which makes them seek new challenges by creating something new and innovative every year. The audience got younger that’s for sure, which would explain the new genre the franchise adopted, but it’s also a shot that studios make based on their vision of what the game should and could be and where they want to take us with it.

      • Kermit the Drug Addict

Hence the reason that I typed, “the trio of CoD devs decided to all try out the future setting,”

      • Markdg23

Your pulling this half of the community shit out of your ass or you believe this bc you play with children bc no one I know likes where CoD is heading and if you do its bc your ignorant to the fact it’s on life support. Why would they release a new cod and also include the most iconic CoD remaster, it’s a community backlash mitigation attempt.

        • DeadZombieGaming 12

It could be possible tho! Considering CoD has a +40m playerbase

    • GFY

Perfectly said. This community itself needs a reboot, not the game.

    • Rorke File

I never asked for change, the old COD formula was fun and didn’t need change. People from IGN etc. asked for change and now are saying ‘should we return to the past of COD?’ They upload this vid today surprisingly.

    • Markdg23

I’ve been coming to this website since Black Ops 1/ pre MW3 days and I don’t recall anyone ever asking for futuristic/jet packs/ Exo-suits. I also play with a lot of ppl that never wanted cod to go in the direction it did. Most ppl were actually asking to simplify cod, quit bringing all kinds of extra shit. What happened or was wrong with having 3 perks/ a few different types of tactical and lethals. Kill streaks that are rewarding, point streaks suck sure they had a good concept to help OBJ players get rewarded for trying to win but in reality all it did was create a exploitable system ( Hardpoint: run in and out of capture point allowing other team to cap then kill them and cap again, then you had a swarm in beginning of the match in Blops2 and the same tactics can be used in all OBJ games to stack up quick and easy points towards your streaks without even getting kills at all, and if you do get some kills then you have full streaks within a minute of the start of a match.) CoD is on life support and in their last ditch effort they give us CoD4 remastered to make everyone buy infinite warfare, personally I will not buy infinite warfare to get CoD4 I’m boycotting ATVI’s shitty practices. I hate the fact that CoD has come to this bc I enjoy playing them even when their shit like the last 4. I’ll be waiting until CoD4 can be purchased seperately.

It pisses me off that the same people that complained at how dull and boring Ghosts was, saying it was the same shit and that nothing changed, so they make an entirely new game with a new setting and those same people are complaining. I would’ve loved a Ghosts 2, but nope, the ignorants took the chance of that happening away.

      • Michael✓ᴺᵃᵗᶦᵒᶰᵃˡᶦˢᵗ

Man Ghost MP was horrible. The launch maps were horrible but the DLC maps were good. Killstreaks were garbage too.

      • Ricardo

Me too, the story was promising, it could have dethroned modern warfare very easily, let`s put our hopes on 2019 🙁

    • Bonn Bo

I’ve been playing COD since WaW, and been using this site for news since BLOPS 1, which is why these new complaints confuse me a little. I actually really like black ops 3’s movement, from WaW to Ghost, i was seriously getting bored with the basic mechanics of the game, so i thought AWs brought something new to the table, just didn’t deliver really well. Then Blops 3 came out and really polished it, which also shows with the sales of the game too. But now, it’s back to the massive hate, bummer really.

    • Martin

      You’re the real mvp!

    • hey, do u want some kermit kush?? it comes with FROG LEGZZZZZ

      • Kermit the Drug Addict

        OH YEAH!

  • Wizga

I have this weird theory that Sledgehammer games might give us a WW/Vietnam or Modern COD next year since they haven’t touch these timelines but IW and Treyarch have. And all 3 developers have given us a futuristic game.

    • J4MES

I honestly expected the 3 year cycle to be:- Infinity Ward – Modern COD, Treyarch – Classic COD and Sledgehammer – Futuristic COD. I think that would have kept things fresh and varied year on year. Now we are faced with even the futuristic side becoming stale just like the complaints prior to Black Ops 2. I hope this will be the final futuristic one for a while though and the franchise has more stability in its timelines.

      • Wizga

Well it seems Sledgehammer games was making a Vietnam game.

Call of Duty: Vietnam (internally titled Fog of War) is a cancelled installment of the Call of Duty series that was under development by Sledgehammer Games. It was stated to be taking place in not only the 1960s and 1970s but also in Cambodia and Laos as well.

The game was planned to be in the action/adventure genre and would’ve been the first third-person only Call of Duty game. After eight months of development, the game had up to 15 minutes playable, at which point Activision offered Sledgehammer the opportunity to help Infinity Ward in the development of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3.

In January 2011, it was confirmed the action-adventure game would be cancelled, or simply put on hold. Glen Schofield referred to the game as “most likely cancelled” when interviewed in October 2011.

Sledgehammer went on to develop Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, confirming the game’s cancellation. During an interview with Glen Schofield in May 2014, he revealed more information on the cancelled project and what the studio had been working on.

In an interview with gameinformer, Glen Schofield stated that if the studio was ever asked to make a third-person Call of Duty game again, they would continue development on Call of Duty: Vietnam.

        • DJ Cholewinski

They had plans to make that game but Activision had them scrap it to make a futuristic game

  • Element115Will

    War stories that involved space….what???

    Anyway, the remaster looks beautiful!

    • CoDforever

Once we are able to migrate to other planets, something like this could definitely happen.

      • Element115Will

That is true, considering scientists or whoever (i forgot) say we can sometime in the future, live on mars!

    • fires

They mean that the story was inspired by war stories. And that these actions or heroism or whatever ideas that took don’t necessary have to be in that moment in time. They’re moving the medium while keeping the inspiration.

An act of heroism is an act of heroism — like it doesn’t have to be WWII or Afghan, since its the act –they’re trying to push that war story into a new medium.

    • DeadZombieGaming 12

It will happen.. Considering we are gonna run out of resources on Earth at some point.

  • Element115Will

    Bruh!

    • Rorke File

This really reminds me of Battlefield 3 if I need to be honest.

  • LLORT

Infinite Warfare reveal trailer has more dislikes than Fine Bros Entertainment! I don’t think people should be too hard on it though as this game is free with Modern Warfare Remastered. Think of it as Infant Warfare whereas MWR is a mans game.

  • VenomSnake421

    Even though there’s space warfare

    • DeadZombieGaming 12

You kinda don’t understand… The inspiration comes from war stories and they are incorporating that into the future warfare… Setting doesn’t matter.

      • VenomSnake421

You can’t say it’s not in space, you can have WW1/2 inspired stories in space, it’s still in space no matter what.

  • Anyone else sad about Afeni Shakur passing away?

    • YoungMurf

Kinda am bud.. he sorta lived on through her but then again is he really dead?

      • Aidan

        Yeah. She died Monday night.

        • YoungMurf

          I’m on about Tupac?

          • hungryandrew

Tupac is dead stop with the conspiracy theories. Elvis, Tupac, etc. DEAD!!

          • YoungMurf

Okay darling, keep your knickers on.

          • Dickmissle

What about the m&m mcflurries bastard McDonald’s

          • Aidan

ah. I see. Sorry bout that.

      • Illuminati killed him bro

        • Dickmissle

          Jewminati and Bernie sanders

  • Ak74u

Activision would be proud of their sales they’re gonna think the game was such a success “oh they must like futuristic stuff, thrusts suits and supply drops, lets give them more”. When in reality the game will sell well remember me when I say that because it will only because of COD 4 MW and yet their still going to fail to realize we only want it for the remaster and not the new movement and supply drop crap. Cod has become a lets milk the cow game before it used to be about quality

    • Aidan

How many times does it have to be explained? This game was in development since 2013, which means that this game was being made before they even knew that people hated the futuristic setting and the thrust jumping. By the time they found out, about a year into development, do you really think they would scrap everything they were doing and start over? I don’t think so.

      • Ak74u

Futuristic setting is fine just not new movement

      • Smayo

Why they have to scrap anything ? They can keep the entire idea of IW intact, they just should’ve said; “hey guys it seems the CoD community doesn’t really like these new movement mechanics, I think it’s smart to tone down on them”

I don’t mind the space theme of IW, but I do mind the fact I already see soldiers jumping over tanks with thrust packs on their back in the first trailer.

    • Michael Romo

It’s naive people like you that ruin the CoD community

      • Ak74u

Nah bro, all they care about is money now. Cod used to be fun now to get yet full experience you have to pay up more than $500 it’s rediculous. Thank god for cod4 I won’t have to deal with advanced movement and supply drops. To bad I have to waste money on infinity warfare to get cod4 remastered. Another evil attempt to take your money and make you spend more

        • Smayo

I most likely end up selling IW and keep MWR as my main gig next year.

although I have a slight feeling the second hand game market will be a bit more saturated that year with the availability of a certain FPS shooter

      • It’s naive to think they’re not milking the ever living shit out of the series. It’s become more clear than it ever was in AW and BO3.

  • Michael Romo

Those must’ve been some lit war veterans

  • Michael Romo

I am honestly looking forward to IW more than CoD 4. I mean, it’s a game we have already played for years! In a matter of a few months, everyone will be bored of CoD 4 because we have all played it before. I can’t wait to play IW because it looks interesting and I’m open minded, unlike most of the cancerous CoD community

    • Smayo

Good for you (no dis) but I think you underestimate the popularity of CoD4.

especially considering the fact we get a complete redone of the game to todays standards and most importantly, hacker free lobbies.

I already know what I first fire up on November 4th 2016, and so are my friends…

    • J4MES

People will be bored of COD 4 eh? I bet more people still play that today than most of the old COD games 8 years on…

Do not underestimate how popular and powerful Modern Warfare is and has been for nearly a decade and now we’ll be getting a fully remastered experience after years of futuristic BS which has alienated large parts of the community and has resulted in sales of the franchise nosediving. People were drooling at Advanced Warfare and they were bored one week later and dare I mention what happened to Ghosts. Don’t be fooled by PR and scripted trailers as we all know that doesn’t tell the full story.

      • I’d still be playing CoD 2 if I wouldn’t have lost my CD

    • GinsuVictim

I still play CoD 4 now. Not getting bored any time soon.

    • Bengal Tigger

The “I fucked your mom” kids will play it though, eventually. Pleas buy me bleach when that happens xoxoxo.

  • Polys
  • Eazymhd1402

If this is true and this game will not gives a shit cod, than I’m probably getting better than the legacy edition.

  • Bengal Tigger

I’m going to laugh, if they do the whole last stand thing again, but replacing last stand with campaign.

    • YoungMurf

But like, what the fuck did you just say?

  • Ak74u

Nothing new on bo3? It’s been kinda silent from them.

I was at least expecting an update to the glitches on zetsabou

    • I wont expect anything new in terms of dlc shit for another few months. The only thing i expect to get announced is when Xbox One gets DLC2 for BO3 which I’m waiting on.

      • Ak74u

I’m also on Xbox one and also waiting for the next DLC. I was hoping we all get a new free weapon for everyone or something new. On AW at this time we got the M1 irons for free to all

  • I wish Call of Duty would go back to designing multiplayer maps off of the campaign. I miss those days

    • GinsuVictim

I rarely play the campaign, so it doesn’t matter much to me, but it is nice to finally get around to it and be like, “Oh, I know this place!”

  • Guywithbrains

People are telling that you get a code from pre-ordering Infinite Warfare and then get a pre-order bonus that comes out later… could it be a beta for Infinite Warfare?

    • GinsuVictim

I saw something about getting CoD points for pre-ordering. I didn’t pay attention because, ya know, it doesn’t apply to me.

      • You get a PS4 theme and 1000 CODpoints for preordering

    • LovekillerX

Beta is really welcome. People could actually love it when they get a chance to try it out.

  • Scott

With Todd Alderman returning for a few months to oversee the MP , I feel very confident that Infinite Warfare MP will be very good. Todd Alderman and the rest of respawn were the first to introduce ” Advance Movement ” , IMO Titanfall felt more like Call of Duty than AW & BO3. So if I had to take a guess on how the Movement system would best compare to , my guess would be Titanfall.

    • YoungMurf

Titanfall feels nowhere near more like a CoD than BO3.. Yes AW didn’t really feel or play like a CoD but BO3 actually does.

  • Thank god because i actually was thinking soothing when the earth scene poped up

  • When you buy IW be careful for campaign because there is this one mission where your on a asteroid near the sun and the light is 2,000 degrees celsius and the shade is 200 degrees celsius so dont get fried

  • Ricardo

We are getting a good campaign folks!! I`m so exited about this game, I can`t deny it.

  • Semir Palic

    Lame af

  • DeadZombieGaming 12

I think YouTubers are ruining this community… And the ones that don’t have brain cells. But people like TmarTn, Ali-A and some other jazz kinda ruin the community imo.. People listen to them, they don’t try to form their OWN opinion, they go by what the YouTubers got to say.

  • Markushio

im not even kidding. why dont we just start a kickstarter and make our own fps like cod? if anyone is interested, im up for anything.
