Infinity Ward has posted a new tweet replay today clarifying the movement system in Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare. Retailers have listed multiple different things, ranging from “an evolution of Call of Duty’s movement system” to the return of the “popular chain based movement system.”

Here’s their tweet:

It looks like Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare’s movement will be similar to Call of Duty: Black Ops 3’s chain based movement system. Black Ops 3’s movement was tightly controlled and was not allowing players to go as high as compared to Advanced Warfare’s exos. Players are able to double jump, wall run, and more in Black Ops 3.

double bullshit jumps confirmed. never mind cod this year, just maybe next year.

    • It’s pretty much a guarantee that next year will be a boots on the ground classic Call of Duty.

      • Siftblade >ScOott is my King<

Isn’t that what people thought about IW?

        • Keshav Bhat

Nope? Who said that? People just assumed Ghosts 2 would be this year, and I never understood why. The amount the fans complained, Ghosts 2 would’ve never happened.

          • Jhonatan Orlando Ferro

Ghosts 2 with old school movement >>>> abyss >>>>> Infinite Warfare. that is a fact.

          • Ghosts 2 with old school movement >>>> abyss >>>>> Infinite Warfare>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>AW

          • Keshav Bhat

Then fans shouldn’t have complained about Ghosts three years ago.

          • Jhonatan Orlando Ferro

yes, cuz we did not know what the future would be much worse.

          • BradyAlucard

“A fact” lol, Infinite Warfare would always be better than a Ghosts 2… I’d rather have fun ways of traversal than boring campfests “that is a fact”. lol

          • Siftblade >ScOott is my King<

I just remember old articles where everyone was saying they were hyped for IW’s game and trusted IW, so they knew that after 2 years they MUST be making a boots on the ground COD. Idk, those comments were always voted to the top of CI. I’m just wondering why sXe thinks boots on the ground is guaranteed next year when we have no info yet, just hope.

          • I mean it’s not rocket science, SHGames is still in the early development cycle I’m sure and the amount of backlash Infinite Warfare is getting, I highly doubt, and I mean highly doubt that next year is a futuristic advanced movement shooter. I also doubt AW2 will be happening too.

Also, I have talked shit about Infinity Ward in loads of articles up until Infinite Wafare was announced. Now I have a skeptical mindset about them and their game, so.

          • Siftblade >ScOott is my King<

I mean, I would have said it was rocket science to Infity Ward too, but they clearly don’t care what the fams were saying and wanted to continue going to the future.

And yeah, I know someone is going to give me the whole “But they were already in development…”. COD has been made by IW for years now, and they’ve been using almost the same exact movement system up until now. AND THEY DID IT IN 2 YEARS. You think they couldn’t have just used an old movement system, tweaked it a bit, and then just build the game from there? Especially after AW’s reaction, they clearly had enough time to go back if they wanted to, They didn’t, because they don’t care. So sorry if I’m a little skeptical in believing SH won’t do the same, especially since their first and only COD so far is the one that introduced boost jumping.

          • Umm yeah they used to CoD in a 2 year time span, but they uh, like, switched over to a 3 year cycle? So that means more time and planning?

          • Siftblade >ScOott is my King<

Since they had more time, they could have done what they always have before (with the boots on the ground movement) and still have wiggle room.

          • I think they’re obviously listening to the fans and I think SHGames will give the fans what they want next year. They will fully win me over if it’s that Vietnam game. And then I think Treyarch will do a WW2 game.

I think Infinite Warfare is getting way too much negative PR for it to suck as well. I think this game is going to prove everyone wrong.

          • K0NF1G T

You also need to keep in mind that maps are designed for advanced movements. Going back and changing means redesigning maps as well. Not going to happen. Instead they said well… how about we give the fans a boots on ground remaster???

          • Siftblade >ScOott is my King<

Yeah, the thing is: the maps weren’t designed yet when IW started development. That was 3 years ago, right after Ghosts final DLC. They could have easily made it boots on the ground after seeing the reaction from fans about the advanced movement in AW. What I’m saying is that EVEN IF it took them a whole year to realize that people didn’t like advanced movement in AW, they still had a full 2 years to go and redesign maps and use the old movement system: something they have been doing successfully for YEARS. They probably could have even scrapped everything if they wanted to and still be done in time, because that’s how it was before the 3 year cycle.

          • K0NF1G T

Looking back though players reactions to AW for the first year or so was pretty positive and excepted the new movement system. People were mostly pissed off about the SBMM system SHG put into the game.

          • Siftblade >ScOott is my King<

Lol no it wasn’t. That’s why everyone was hoping BO3 would be set in WW2 when it was announced halfway through AW’s life cycle. People hated it for months before that: people mostly complained the movement made the game too chaotic. The movement hate started even before DLC1, it just got very big around DLC2 and steadily grew until BO3 released

          • K0NF1G T

Not the way I remembered it. People were glad that CoD was changing their formula for once. Started to get a bad rep toward the end when players were just constantly boost jumping around. As far as chaotic, thats pretty much what CoD has always been. It’s a twitch shooter.

          • Advanced Movement didn’t really get any hate until after Advanced Warfare was out.
Treyarch couldn’t back out of it either but they have their own idea for the movement system which works. Which with the fans, it looks like it’s half and half on the hate and liking it.

Whether you like it or not, it was too late for Infinity Ward to back out of Infinite Warfare. I want classic boots on the ground like everyone else this year but it’s clear it was too late to do anything this year.

Like I said, it’s pretty much a dead given next year is a classic boots on the ground CoD.. The proof is in the backlash of Infinite Warfare and I’m sure Actvision isn’t dumb enough to let next year be the same way.

          • MountainDewIt

The problem with that is that they would have already decided the setting of the game and most likely have designed layouts to campaign missions, meaning that they would have had to change alot to make it fit. AW also didn’t really get that much hate, atleast not for the movement and setting.

          • Siftblade >ScOott is my King<

Lol what?? AW got insane hate for Supply Drops, Boost Jumps, and most of all SBMM. It was pretty obvious from the get go that a lot of the fans didn’t like the movement. They could still do a space/future setting with boots on the ground gameplay. Just because it’s the future doesn’t mean players have to fly and bunny hop and wallrun everywhere. And campaign mission layouts are easy, add ladders. In early stages of development, this stuff would have been easy to change.

        • No?

      • SoS Cod Ghost

        how o u figure

    • Primey

Next year is the turn of SHG.

      No thank you!

      • K0NF1G T

Might be surprised. SHG is actually a very talented studio.

        • BradyAlucard

They just never listened… but yeah, they’re not bad… the designers were just way too inspired by competitive bullshit to listen to the community that matters. Hope they fix everything next year. If SBMM is in the next CoD, I’m not getting the shit.

      • DeadZombieGaming 12

Yeah, but Condrey said that he wanted to go back to the past aka WW2 and shit… So, don’t lose hope.

  • GinsuVictim

    Boo.

  • I have no reason to complain then. It might even be more watered down compared to Black Ops 3. Which will be good and more close to boots on the ground.

    • ThisGuy

I’m going to have a hell of a time trying to play bf1, this and mw all at once.

      • This fall is going to be great honestly with all three of these games to play. I’m going to have way too much fun lol

        • darren

Totally agree. Future (IW), present (MWR), and past (BF1) all covered. Titanfall. A new Forza. Tom Clancy’s Wildlands. Not to mention all the announcements coming at E3. I think this year is gonna be an awesome one.

          • Yeah it’s definitely looking better than 2015 so far.

          • Leguywhodrownedquiet

            *cough* MGSV CUNTAMI *cough*

          • even though I don’t care about MGSV.

            What?

          • What?

          • Leguywhodrownedquiet

            What do you mean?

          • What do you mean tho?

          • Leguywhodrownedquiet

Why do you not care about mgsv?

          • Doesn’t really interest me

          • BradyAlucard

Forza lol smh, you need to get out more.

      • Ak74u

        And Titanfall

        • Weed the People

Lol I remember when titanfall was the cod killer but instead it killed itself

          • K0NF1G T

Nah… TitanFall was sick. Cant wait for TitanFall 2.

          • Weed the People

            I never played it

          • I’m looking forward to Titanfall 2 as well. I enjoy the hell out of the first one. The only problem with the first one was lack of content honestly

          • K0NF1G T

Agreed. I think now that Respawn’s studio now has more dev’s we’ll see the much needed content (fingers crossed).

  • jooker-jr

Let’s hope for the best 🙂

  • Who Am I To Judge?

Not the worst news we could have heard. It could have been “If you’re used to AW movement, you will feel right at home.”

    • Bradley Mercado

      BO3 movement is worse.

      • Who Am I To Judge?

How so? BO3 movement is much more predictable, and more controllable, and not sporadic like AW

        • Bradley Mercado

Wall running, boosting over walls and killing people/scouting.

          • Who Am I To Judge?

AW had twice the boost jump, I can understand wall running, but what about the killing people/scouting?

          • Bradley Mercado

Boosting over walls while doing that is what I meant to say, sorry.

          • Bradley Mercado
          • Roberto Pasina

            hate this mode…

          • Mario Rivera

Great examples of why exo style movent sucks ass. How can u even expect or counter these angles of attack, seriously…

          • Ak74u

You think wallrunning is bad? I think it’s good because the noobs try wallrunning and it makes for easy kills

          • Weed the People

That moment when the noobs keep wall running from the exact same spot lol

          • Bradley Mercado

From competitive perspective its not good.

          • BradyAlucard

Who cares about competition? That’s not what gaming is about. It’s about fun.

          • Bradley Mercado

You should speak for yourself because I don’t think you understand that hundreds of thousands of people do care about cod esports.

          • DJSaviD

Aren’t you the guy who was complaining about how IW is “forcing us” to buy IW if we want MW:R?

          • Mario Rivera

I feel its clunky and makes the maps flow awkwardly. Not too crazy about the outside of the map shenanigans either, especially in obj modes like uplink. Also creates quite a few how the fuk did he get so high/how the fuk did he get there so fast moments for me. What was wrong with ground/catwalks?

    • AW Movement > BO3 Movement

      Just my opinion

      • Ak74u

        Haha nice joke

      • Trinityvitaliaty

I like both movement systems.AW’s drastically different system gives the game it’s own identity.I look forward to AW 2 and hope they don’t steer away from full on exo-suit no matter the tittle.

        • Brad.

They won’t make AW2, and if they do, it won’t have boost jump. And if it does, oh boy. You think the IW trailer hate is bad….

          • Trinityvitaliaty

I agree entirely.tho they will evetually introduce it’s sequel since on 1 side of the coin it’s a terrible marketing plan to release it next year for obvious reasons and on the other side there is a very large AW fan-base.

          • Shawn Gee

Who gives a shit what a bunch of stuck-in-the-past fanboys think. AW made a TON of money and was an awesome game. Don’t like it, don’t buy it. Simple.

      • ShadowReaperJr.

CS:go Movement>Mario 64 Movement> my bowel movement> any cod games movement. not an opinion, FACT

        • GinsuVictim

CS:GO Movement? You have to switch to knife if you want to move at a decent speed. I like the game, but it’s a totally different animal.
Mario 64? Well, we certainly are hopping around like him these days. “HA……HIYA…..YAHOOOOOO!”

        • HyruleKing88

So… Let me see if I got this… CS:go Movement > Actual movement?

          • ShadowReaperJr.

that’s about right, yeah. I can’t use a moue and keyboard in real life to move…so its already better in that regard. motion controls suck

          • Mr Doge

            Oh damn shadowreaper is back

          • ShadowReaperJr.

Please, ShadowReaper was my fathers name. You can can address me as ShadowJr, filthy peasant.

      • jordanxbrookes

      • frightener-boy

Actually agree just for the boost dodge
And the 2 movement systems are the same since you still have to expect a player to take a corner while in mid-air just that AW’s was higher

      • Element115Will

Nothing Wrong with DOuble Jumps but THESE DASH MOVES!!!
        Dash + jump + dash dash…I mean..CMON!

        • Shawn Gee

Only people that can’t keep up, or do the moves themselves would have issue with it. It was the most fluid, complex movement system in a COD. Ever.

      • Shawn Gee

Agreed. Once mastered, the movement in AW was phenomenal. You just had to learn it. Comparatively, BO3 feels like you’re running around with a backpack of bricks on (slow/stiff movement). AW >>> BO3 all day.

      • Same. I miss being able to move around so fast and just lock on to people with the BAL-27. I’m really disappointed that people didn’t like it.

    • Cheezburgerhaid

The only thing about AW’s movement that I miss is the boost ability.
Not the double jump, but when you press the stick in the direction you’re moving and get that extra propulsion.

I got used to it and still occasionally try to do it in Black Ops 3.

      • DirectingChaos

I liked the boost slam myself

        • Cheezburgerhaid

Oh yeah, that was awesome too!
I actually tried doing that the other day and just ended up crouching and getting shot. Lol.

          • DirectingChaos

my best ever kill (and there is several to choose from) was a double mid-air boost slam right on top of 2 enemies heads (on Solar)

          • DirectingChaos

Ok thought there was a shorter one, anyway I think this one is just a single kill but its still pretty class…

This my favorite boost slam moment:

            https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cWukJMxK558

          • Mario Rivera

I love how ppl are talking about AW like that game didn’t suck ass or something lol. When I think of AW I think of the game that showed Activision what a wonderful idea double jumps and supply drops were…

          • BradyAlucard

            And SBMM…

          • Mario Rivera

SBMM was a thing in COD prior to AW tho. The type of SBMM used in AW was actually very similar to what BO2 had early in its lifecycle. Unlike SHG, 3arch actually listened and calmed it down. Through rose colored glasses, people forget that BO2 was actually the birthplace of reverse boosting.

          • BradyAlucard

Yep. I know. But it has more severity because Sledgehammer didn’t care and kept it in for the morons in competitive.

          • Johtoboy

AW did suck ass, but there were a few things that I didn’t mind or even enjoyed. Still the worst COD by far

          • you can’t double tap a then crouch when you get high up?

          • Cheezburgerhaid

I meant that I tried to boost slam, but all I did was land on the ground and ended up crouching. ?
Holding the button in midair was pointless. Lol.

        • GinsuVictim

My first game on Hardcore Domination:
          1. Countdown ends…
          2. Jump forward, boost slam onto A flag…
          3. Kicked for team killing

    • Haha true. But tbh now that everyone is talking about AW, I think I’m going to go play a match or two on it…

      • HyruleKing88

I think I bought all the DLC in Ghosts. And then I bought the next-gen version. Too late to transfer all of it.

        Fuck buying all that again.

        • BradyAlucard

That’s what you get for supporting Activision, they’ll just say “fuck you” and make you buy everything again.

          Greed.

      • jordanxbrookes

Never bought anything in AW and will continue to never buy anything in that game.

        • If only I wasn’t as stupid at the time lol. When I got on I was like why the hell do I have all these camos??

          • BradyAlucard

Activision shouldn’t make you pay for camos. 🙁

          • Mario Rivera

I dont have a problem with them monetizing purely aesthetic stuff, I wish they would keep it to just that tho.

          • BradyAlucard

I do, microtransactions don’t belong in any AAA game, no matter what it is. How much was everything? $2.99? That is incredibly overpriced, and they want to call it “micro” transactions? Should just give us the option of unlocking them, but they obviously put more effort into the camos we pay for. Imagine that.

It wouldn’t be THAT big of a deal if the things that you purchased weren’t moot the next year.

          • Mario Rivera

It was like $1.99 for a camo and $2.99 for outfits. I get that we can totally find better ways to spend our money but we gotta be a little more understanding to the reality of buisiness. If passing up on it poses no problem to our abilty to compete then let the people that wouldn’t mind spending a few bucks on that stuff have that option. Its better than them not getting a option to obtain that stuff at all. I get that some of this stuff could have been just leftovers from the base game but dont assume all of it would have been created without the financial incentive of being sold as DLC. If there were no incentive of DLC revenue i doubt the effort, time and funds would have gone into to a hefty percentage of these items.

          • BradyAlucard

Just because the internet exists, doesn’t mean that AAA games are allowed to spam DLC. I understand the concept of expansion packs (real expansion packs that take more effort, not little content like Multiplayer maps), but then it becomes way too expensive. I’d rather the game be full of content at launch. It’s pathetic to see a $100 million game still need to nickel and dime its consumers with an overpriced Season Pass and items that you can’t unlock. That’s not business to me, that’s greed. I hope it ends, but yeah, it won’t end…

          • Mario Rivera

The problem with the gaming community is that we are too unrealistic with our demands when considering the business side of things. The people we need to appeal to arent fellow gamers, they are businessmen and we need to take up a business mindset if we are ever going to reach them. Just like any business both sides must understand each other and compromise until they can meet somewhere in the middle. Like it or not DLC is here to stay, going to activision headquarters with a no compromise screaming child mindset is only going to get you quickly removed by security lol. All we can realisticly advocate for is DLC that doesn’t grant any competitive advantages. When you bought COD or anything else for that matter you decided that the money you paid was worth the out of the box content you were getting and vice versa for the billions of things you passed up on. You are not entitled to anything else besides what was advertised to you at the time of purchase. The option to buy a pink camo or a cowboy hat isnt going degrade the out of the box $60 cod experience in any way. Matter of fact that option being there only enhances the experience of those interested and makes activision a couple of bucks so thats a win for both sides. However when u have weapon dlc granting competitive advantages to those lucky/rich enough to obtain them that does degrade the core $60 experience of COD and thats where the line needs to be drawn. The concept of DLC itself isnt evil, i dnt mind having the option of paying to enhance my experience as long choosing not to buy doesn’t screw with the out of box experience. Its just pay to win thats evil.

          • They didn’t make me, I just fell into their marketing trap. :-/

No but you bought the Pro edition which was like an extra £75 XD

    • Mick

      Agreed. It’s duable.

  • Sexy Mcgee

I liked AW’s movement system the most. Unfortunately, they just couldn’t make up their minds about what kind of game they wanted and didn’t design the game properly around it. So everyone associated boosting with frustration and now there’s no chance we’ll get a proper game with it. BO3’s movement is kind of “meh” but the game is better designed overall.

  • fr4gbob

I like everything about the movement in BLOPSIII except the wall running, I think if they reduced the boost jumping to around 75% of what it is in BLOPSIII and scrapped the wall running altogether, it would be perfect…. for me at least.

As long as that awful BLOPSII dolphin dive never returns, I will be pretty happy, I don’t care about the time period or the theme of the game, as long as the guns are balanced and the movement isn’t too crazy, I’m all set!

  • Stefan Lang

BO3’s movement > AW’s movement. Hopefully this shuts some people up now finally.

    • Siftblade >ScOott is my King<

Every COD up to Ghosts movement > BO3 movement > AW movement. Hence why people are upset.

      • Stefan Lang

But those were the exact changes they wanted in the series and AW gave them changes. Year after year people claimed how the game was getting stale and the moment the gameplay is shaken up everyone loses their mind.

        • Smayo

          Nobody wanted advanced movement…

          • Stefan Lang

But they wanted change… That change was advanced movement. What more could they do to “change” things outside of movement??

          • Smayo

I don’t know, but changing the movement just because a portion of the community screamed for change is the worst decision they have made. Only thing they have changed now is a once beloved franchise into the laughing stock of gaming at the moment

    • TalesOfPersona

Anything other than grounded combat is shit. This game is DOA.

      • DeadZombieGaming 12

Who knows, it could be one of the IW’s best games ever, who knows… This is gonna be BO3 all over again….

  • Underdog BO1 FTW!

    Fuck BO3 and AW movement.

    • Rorke File

      Bootsontheground that’s what we want!

      • K0NF1G T

        Then play the CoD4 Remaster.

        • Brad.

People don’t understand that a lot of the people asking for boots on the ground want a NEW call of duty title with boots on the ground, not just a remaster.

          • K0NF1G T

Still better than nothing at all.

  • Could’nt care about whenever it was AWs or BO3’s, I liked both.

  • Bonn Bo

That’s great, I really like BLOPS 3’s movement system. Better this than AW’s movement (which also wasn’t that bad).

  • Rorke File

I’m heading my way immediately to the COD4 remaster then.

    • GinsuVictim

      Try that again

    • DJSaviD

You can’t, they won’t let you. It’s a digital download so no one can sell it used and in order to own it you have to buy Infinite Warfare. Also the remaster is missing a lot of content. Not worth buying IW just to play half of CoD4 in HD

      • Sentinel

“missing a lot of content” boii you really one of those who wants the whole arm out of a hand. It is just like the COD that came out almost 10 years ago! Nothing but revamped graphics, texture, dynamic sound, and lighting! What else do you want!!

        • Jay Evan

16 maps like it was originally, and for the COD community to shut the fuck up and accept what they get.

          • Sentinel

Yeah just 6 maps! & for real, at least appreciate that an actual remastered is made. This community will never be pleased like wtf…

          • Jay Evan

Either Infinity Ward is gonna put out DLC for MWR, or Raven Software can’t develop all the maps in time.

          • Mario Rivera

I think its a little bit of both. They realized they couldn’t finish on time so activision said fuk it, might as well sell it to them as DLC lol

          • Sentinel

and you know this for a fact? That isn’t a sure thing.

          • BradyAlucard

            “Just 6 maps” lol?

          • Sentinel

Hmm let me see, appreciated that we getting a remastered COD4 (finally! our calls were answered!!) or staying looking for a reason to keep going at it because we only getting 10 maps, bohoo. Too bad that you feel some type of way dude, but you ain’t having it your way.

          • BradyAlucard

Consumers are entitled to more, so why damage control a lack of content like a fanboy? There are only 10 Multiplayer maps because Raven didn’t have the time, but that doesn’t mean you excuse it.

          • Sentinel

Consumers have the option to not invest currency if they aren’t satisfied. I simply accepted what they have to offer and locked in my pre-order. Any addition are always welcome, not expected. You see, I don’t waste my time on petty shit. & “Lack of content”…lmaoo…really. Good one. Yeah, they didn’t have the time because they invested almost 15,000 man hours remaking the game. Not just maps! Fanboy.

          • BradyAlucard

Did they invest 15,000 man hours? You say all this bullshit defending the shit, yet YOU call ME the fanboy? LOL! You’re so funny. Not. Nah, you don’t accept it, you want to believe that, when really you’re just dickriding Activision. Getting half the content is NOT okay, no matter how your dumbass spins it.

          • Sentinel

Like I was trying to be funny…sarcasm not synchronized. I can care less on how or what they do with their brand. I will continue to get COD, they haven’t given me a reason not to, yet. “defending” what? “accept” what? Wtf you talking about… Just being a realist buddy. Is okey you can’t see shit from my perspective. For now, you just a moron who’s butthurt for not getting “half the content”(blowing that shit out of proportion) when really, It’s just 6 fucken maps…most of us are happy that the most popular maps are making a return and probably the less popular aren’t! How about you accept it and move on cause guess what, you ain’t getting shit! Get your wallet ready to get the Remastered COD DLCs hahaha. I’m done here.

          • BradyAlucard

I can’t see shit from your perspective because it’s way too fanboyish. It’s not blowing it way out of proportion when the original CoD4 had double the maps (which is factual, including DLC, so it’s not “just 6 maps”, you buffoon). I won’t accept less like you, because I’m not a corporate slave, this shit is asinine.

          • Sentinel

            Suit yourself pendejo.

          • BradyAlucard

            Activision dickrider.

        • DJSaviD

It’s missing half the fucking maps……………

          • NYC PIZZA RAT

Zero electronic producers take influence from kanye west??? Out of all the hundreds of thousands of them??

Im going to screen shot your comment and ask them.. liar.

          • DJSaviD

My fans would loge that and I would too 🙂 free promo!

          • Sentinel

Get over it, you still getting a fucken COD 4 remastered. Then again, almost nobody in this community can ever be satisfied enough.

          • DJSaviD

Late reply, my apologies. Anyway, you’re right. I can’t be satisfied with 3/4 of a fucking remaster that’s being made by a SEPARATE STUDIO. You’re telling me that in 3 years they couldn’t revamp the graphics on 10 extra maps? Not to mention, I’m not getting shit. I refuse to order a game that serves as such a slap in the face from developers just to get access to a game I once held dear to me. They’re holding CoD4 hostage to get people to purchase their new shit title just so they can brag about how they still sold a lot of copies and make excuses to keep going down the same bullshit path.

  • hungryandrew

Copying Black Ops 3 movements, copying Treyarch’s zombies, what’s next for Insanity Ward?

    • Weed the People

Activison said all their devs will be doing zombies so they didn’t copy anything

      • hungryandrew

        When??

        • Weed the People

Can’t remember when but because everyone loves zombies that will be the 3rd game mode every year

          • hungryandrew

There’s no proof, and back when Ghosts was out I.W> stated that they would make a series for extinction, and well , it wasn’t liked. Infinity Ward, is doing zombies by their own discretion, out of desperation, to get sales and approval by the community.

          • Weed the People

Omg you’re retarded I just told you activison said all thier devs are doing zombies now since it’s loved by the fans

          • hungryandrew

            No they didn’t

          • Weed the People

i’m done arguing with someone ignorant

          • hungryandrew

According to YOU, go look it up where it states your comment. It’s a last ditch effort out of desperation on Infinity’s Ward’s part to get cheap sales by doing Zombies, nothing more, nothing less.

          • Weed the People

It’s whatever, but it doesn’t change the fact all 3 devs are doing zombies now. Nothing more, nothing less

    • Cookin’ by the book

In 2005, Treyarch copied Insanity Ward by making another Call of Duty.
      oooooooo

      • BradyAlucard

Treyarch doesn’t copy Infinity Ward, it was Activision that asked them to make a CoD game.

      • hungryandrew

They made their brand of Call of Duty.

    • Sentinel

Activision is the one running shit bruh

      • hungryandrew

        Insanity Ward operating in desperation.

    • jordanxbrookes

Expect Specialist characters, Scorestreaks and a whole lot of lag lol

  • Gamerazor247

Lol, it’s probably going to be more clunky and limited than BOIII…

  • CheEsEToUcH666

They shouldve made boost jumps as a killstreak. Im not even trying to joke

  • Slothigans

I wonder what more can they change to make it “their take”. Only other thing I can think of is zero gravity movement maybe in certain spots on the map?

  • Sentinel

Ehh nothing new. I’m getting all the trill and action playing Uncharted! Now that’s a game made by a studio who truly knows the best quality, action and cinematic moments for a A1 game. Hands down.

    • K0NF1G T

The good news is that some of Naughty Dogs best game designers joined Infinity Ward to develop Infinite Warfare.

      • BradyAlucard

        Was it really their best?

        • DeadZombieGaming 12

Probably. They have been working on Naughty Dog for years until 2014. Both of them are veterans

          • BradyAlucard

            Oh damn.

        • K0NF1G T

          They were both lead designers.

          • BradyAlucard

Why would they degrade themselves to Call of Duty? Oh… mo’ money.

  • ShadowReaperJr.

The only way movement will be any good in this game is with a mouse and keyboard. peasants need to learn their place and stick to controller based games like knack.

    • GinsuVictim

The stupid thing is the consoles totally allow the ability to integrate mouse/keyboard into the game if they wanted, but it wouldn’t be pretty for controller uses if that ever happened.

      • BradyAlucard

I hope it doesn’t have the terrible sprinting animations from MW3 and Ghosts where it’s all warped and shit…

    • BradyAlucard

      LMFAO

  • PvBrent

I will play some of Infinite Warfare’s MP. All of it’s campaign and Zombies… But my heart is in Modern Warfare. (I just gotta get that $80 worth)

    • GinsuVictim

Might as well get the $100 set. $20 extra for the season pass is a solid deal.

  • jordanxbrookes

Nah, boots on the ground feels natural to me. At least it ain’t like AW’s movement system.

    • AW’s movement system > Boots On Ground

      • NOVA_POLARIS

I consider them somewhat equal, but I still like them both more then bo3’s system. I would honestly love it if with every Sledgahammer game would have exos like in AW and then the other two games could be boots on the ground… But for some reason every company has to copy what the last one did.

        • BradyAlucard

AW’s movement was way too crazy.

      • BradyAlucard

        You troll lol.

  • Jay Evan

    SHIT.

  • I LOVE COD IW BF1

  • Mick

This is good to hear. BO3’s movement is very fluid and I enjoy it. I can’t wait until the MP reveal!

  • Qwerty

Well we can only hope for next year to be boots on the ground. And let’s all be honest atleast it’s not AW movement, that shit was just some retarded cluster fuck shit with no flow to the maps.

  • Diego Diniz

Not gonna Lie…I really like the movement on Black Ops 3! Feels like you put BUTTER in the ass and “fly” like a feather through the map!

    • Aidan

You need to work on your analogies.

      • Diego Diniz

AHAHAHAH I dont speak english very well so…i tried so HARD to make this Joke! Sorry…ahahahaha

        • Aidan

          it’s all good

  • guest

Lol look at cod so scared. Oh have how the mighty have fallen

    • GinsuVictim

Scared of what…all the free publicity?

      • guest

If you think cod is in need of publicity than you are just as pathetic as IW’s devs. They are desperate for their audiences approval so they can start making more unit sales for their investments to go up. Only the last remaining sheep will purchase this game.

        • GinsuVictim

We are part of the advertising machine now more than ever. You’re delusional if you think a company’s own marketing is enough these days.

          • guest

Everyone and their mother that would be cods target audience has heard of cod. Cod doesnt need more publicity it needs to earn back its previous audience. You people dont seem to realize that cods unit sales have been dropping in the millions since bo2.

          • GinsuVictim

            “CoD doesn’t need more publicity”
Proof that you have no clue how any of this works.

          • guest

ok fine lets put it this way, do you know any gamers that have never heard of cod? And if they have never heard of cod do you think they would be a consumer of its product? The simple truth is you can probably count the number on one hand or less.

As ive said before the cod franchise needs to prove themselves worthy to their old community because that is the demographic they are losing. Cod unit sales have gone down drastically and its not because they werent advertising enough. There is only so much of an audience of a certain demographic that can be obtained and cod has already become a household name among gamers, there is little if any target audience left to be attained except for their lost audience.

Simply stating I have no clue how this stuff works without evidence does not make the statement true. I too could point out useless insults without evidence but I feel like I am beyond those days of careless nature but to each their own.

          • GinsuVictim

This all started with me saying that they are loving the free publicity. If you think it doesn’t matter, YOU’RE A BIGGER FUCKING DUMBASS THAN YOU LET ON.

What do you think the shareholders prefer to hear, that no one is talking about their game or that EVERYONE IS?

          • guest

I believe that the share holders like to hear that the game reveal was a massive success not that it is the second most disliked video in the world.

Bad publicity being free publicity is just more short term thinking publicity, sure its publicity now but it definitely will not help the cod franchise down the road. The last thing that cod needs is more negative publicity which screams at old time players like myself, dont go back if this many people are this mad at this franchise.

          • GinsuVictim

There’s no such thing as bad publicity, especially in this case where everyone knows it’s all bullshit anyway.

          • guest

Oh of course, Im just so positive that out of the 2 million people that disliked it that not one person actually disliked how the trailier/game looked. Everyones in on it, its just a joke, just a prank, nobody really dislikes the game “it’s all bullshit anyway”

          • GinsuVictim

Obviously there are legit dislikes, but the majority are bandwagon jumpers.

        • BradyAlucard

Lmao, it was too late for them to change what they spent 2 and a half years on… They’re not desperate for anything.

          • guest

They are desperate for their audiences approval even if they cant change the game. This 3 year formula is obviously not working when they get all their ideas off of ten year olds. They dont realize that things are changing more than ever, they need to be actually inventive instead of playing it safe because the audience will see it coming and not be impressed.

        • Kobrah

You think CoD is scared? They will still out sell all their competition

          • guest

They clearly are scared because they have to bring in their previous successes to stay relevant. Things obviously are changing based off of these likes and not in a good way at least for you

  • Baldmanz_RAGE

Three fucking developers that make the same fucking game. Just pick one and run it for three years with add-ons and dlc. I don’t know who is worse Activision for doing this or the public for buying into it!!!!

    • DeadZombieGaming 12

People would hate that probably even more.

  • RdJokr

Good enough for me. Now all we need to see is the loadout system. It will be interesting if IW retains the same perk and loadout system from Ghosts.

    • HyruleKing88

      Fuck yes.

    • Kobrah

I hope they use pick 10

      • RdJokr

I hope so too, I’m so used to Pick 10 now, it would be weird to change. Not that change is bad, but if it’s not fluid enough, it could cause problems.

        • Mario Rivera

Ghosts did lots of things wrong but pick 12 wasnt one of them… Pick 12 filled all the gaps that pick 10 left. Stuff was individually priced based on usefulness so balance was better (I.E Stock/Quickdraw/Ghost being worth as much as a flash grenade, red dot, FMJ etc is dumb), perks were tethered to the soldier instead of the weapon so u didnt lose ur perks when u swapped guns. It was also free of perk greed wildcards and annoying tier restrictions so freedom was better too. Why cant we use whatever perks we want without being locked to just 2 per tier while still being within the balancing limits of a points system?. Another thing was they figured out how to balance primaries and secondaries both being worth a point without making the secondaries suck ass like AW or way too good like in BO2. Giving primaries 2 free attachments while only giving secondaries 1 free attachment was the secret sauce to fixing a problem that affected both balance and freedom by allowing us to have viable secondaries to choose from without them outclassing primaries. Pick 12 was a evolution that deserved way more respect than what i just read here lol, Just like scorestreaks, It should come back every year until something even better is made.

          • DEMOLITION12

“perks were tethered to the soldier instead of the weapon so u didnt lose ur perks when u swapped guns” no they weren’t

          • Mario Rivera

I swear, ppl just disagree for the sake of disagreeing sometimes… So u mean to tell me that your QuickDraw, stock, steady aim, etc were attached to your weapon in ghosts like they are in BO2/AW/BO3? Bruh…

          • DEMOLITION12

lol? you said they’re tethered to the soldier. if you switch guns (switch classes) you don’t “keep your perks”

          • Mario Rivera

Damn bruh u are really lost. I think the root of your confusion lies with you NOT understanding that when I said “swapped weapons” I really meant swapped WEAPONS as in picking up a new gun from the ground, switching to a secondary weapon, etc. Not swapping classes lol

          • Ridder

I agree with you all the way! The perk system in ghosts was the best as of yet! I really hate the tier restrictions and using points for wildcards to get a perk from the same tier. The player should be able to customize his class to his liking.

    • BradyAlucard

Please no, not a whole lot of people liked it.

      • RdJokr

Just putting that out there. I’m a fan of Pick 10 all the way.

        • BradyAlucard

I’m just saying, because the class system in Ghosts was too ambitious. They can start fresh if they wanted to. I’d rather them go that route.

    • DeadZombieGaming 12

      We see…

  • Mario Rivera

At the very least wallrunning needs to go, wat the fuk happened to catwalks?

  • lunator100hd .

Bo3 movement system in bo3 is the best for me, its not crazy like AW but gives you that extra freedom to move around the map or ascape undesired situations during gunfights. Advanced movement system means bigger skill gap if done right, of course AW’s movement system dosent fall in that category because it only added randomness and redused the flow of the game. I feel like IW this year took a lot of feedback from 3arch and SHG. They need to create a perfect formula (based on past titles) distinquising all the negatives from positives we have seen all these years.

    • j

in my opionion, the bo3 movement system was tempered (dumbed down) to aid those that lacked the ability to master the freedoms provided by aw’s exo. they might as well replicate bo3 in iw, seeing as the leisurely floating up AND DOWN seems perfect for emulating a zero g environment.

  • Poplur33

Bo3 is garbage. Terrible maps, ghosts like kill time, aw movement. Get rid of wall runs, lower the height of jumps, increase health

    • lunator100hd .

You must suck ass big time.

      • DEMOLITION12

lol no. go on bo3, can’t get a kill. go on ghosts, i keep my 5KD

        • lunator100hd .

Most ppl can keep high kd on ghosts cause of the good hit detection, bo3 as a 3arch game has a mediocre hit detection and most deaths/kills are effected by it.

          • DEMOLITION12

            too right

          • Logic Chief

So true the reason I think so many people hated ghosts the casuas hated it well the good players just steamrolled them. I loved ghost had a 12 w/l and a 3.7kd. I hate infinite warfare has as good of hit detection people who can’t play on that need to adapt

  • TP_SUPRA

This is AWESOME news i like the bo3 movement only thing that i hate a little bit is the wall running but trust is oke for me!!!

  • ŁŸRØ

The haters are worse then Ebola

    • DeadZombieGaming 12

This is most of the dislikes.

  • ŁŸRØ

    Lol he replied to himself

  • DeadZombieGaming 12

What i’m guessing by it, it means it is similar to it, not a carbon copy.

  • Student teenagers be like…

    • lunator100hd .

TBO that was a good one.

  • What’s the difference between Infinity Ward and a waitress? The waitress brings you what you asked for.

    • lunator100hd .

I read the same joke on yt only intead of waitress it was restaurant.

      • Eh, I tried right.

        • lunator100hd .

          Dude, be original pls.

          • Is this good enough for you sir.

          • lunator100hd .

Yep, you have an artist inside you, you dont need to copy any of that shit on yt.

  • Im waiting to repair my horse with a wrench.. That’s gonna be fun

    • Leguywhodrownedquiet

The bible is the scariest fairy tale I read in my life

  • Jay Evan

This was someone’s reaction to me defending IW. Un-fucking-real.

    • GinsuVictim

See, as pathetic as our comments section gets sometimes, we’ll never be YouTube.

      • lunator100hd .

        So true.

      • I saw a comment saying that Infinite Warfare was just a re skin of cod 4.
        BRUH

    • Leguywhodrownedquiet

Well the guy is right you know
He smokes so much crack , so he doesn’t get munchies which makes him jealous
I HATE IW COMPLETELY but this guy is a retard

  • This is so old but still cracks me up.

    • DeadZombieGaming 12

Tries to quickscope with a tommy gun

  • Sentinel

I want to see what they have for the perks and character loadout! As much as I enjoyed the specialist. I rather have my very own soldier to be fully customized!! Btw hopefully they bring back specialist! I like acquiring perks every time I go on a killing spree.

    • DeadZombieGaming 12

Which specialist? The one from MW3 or the one from BO3

      • Sentinel

        From MW3

  • I don’t care how the movement is. I liked both. Just as long as there’s no fucking specialists.

    • GinsuVictim

Not to be confused with specialist streaks, which I would very much like to see return.

      • Yeah, specialist streaks were fine. Specialist weapons ruined the balance. As long as the core game is there, I don’t care if we can shoot ourselves to the moon and jerk of some aliens.

        • Axel Noir

          There’s no aliens in IW.

So a weapon you earn that can be lost quickly is unbalanced ok.

i kind of wouldn’t mind going back to classic or having a playlist for it, recently got back to playing BO3 after about 2 months and it finally hit me how annoying people can be after i guess pretty much learning how to abuse that movement system

The problem in AW was that the maps were designed for exo suits, not for walking and running like CoD 4 (shit game btw)

    Should I be worried?

Now where are all the hate comments?

I actually miss AW’S movement system Competitive was so much more fun to watch from a spectacle point of view. BO3 just seems so boring to watch now

I liked AW’s system better. The wall running is cool and all, but Bo3 system is to slow. Whats the point in wall running if every map is designed for head glitching. Not a thing in AW. Just make a classic playlist for people who don’t know what fun is.
