Fans wanting new information on Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered can look forward to E3, which takes place the week of June 13.

As Call of Duty is partnered with PlayStation again this year (PlayStation 4 players will get Infinite Warfare DLC Map Packs 30 days early), we can expect the official gameplay reveal for Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare during PlayStation’s E3 conference, which is set to take place on Monday, June 13 at 6PM PT / 9PM ET. The conference will be live on PlayStation’s Twitch and YouTube channels. As always, we will provide full coverage of the conference.

Call of Duty also confirmed on social media that there will be more info coming regarding Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered coming at E3 as well.

Thus far, Activision has only confirmed five (Bog, Overgrown, Crash, Crossfire, and Backlot) of the ten multiplayer maps that’s included in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered. We could get more info on the remaining maps during E3.

If you are on desktop, be sure to check our sidebar on the homepage for a countdown timer till PlayStation’s E3 conference.

so I’m assuming you don’t want MW Remastered hmm

        • Element115Will

No. To be honest, I do not. I have played it of course when my friends had it and it was phenomenal, but I wont be getting it. And to be honest, I only have 3ARC CoD. From CoD3 to [email protected] to Black Ops series. I do have CoD 1 and 2, Big Red One, Finest Hour as well. However, I am still gonna give it time as more info releases, rumors going around about new additions to the MWR so I will wait and see whats up.

And still no post on Atlas Gorge.

        I do

            I love you

    • RdJokr

I think that will only trigger more hate posts on here.

“OMG fuck you SHG, no one wants to play your shitty game anymore, stop trying to bait us with the map that you should’ve released for free, and the weapon balance you should’ve done before BO3 even came out!”

That’s gonna be the general opinion you’ll see from here. I applaud SHG for trying to support the community as long as possible, even though its playerbase is probably even worse than Ghosts right now, but these things should’ve been done while the game was in its peak moment. That said, I look forward to see what they do with their next game.

      • Trippy Leatherface

It is lower than ghosts I played both yesterday and could only get in TDM in advanced warfare

        • Joey

Yeah, not being able to find games is a pretty big issue (for those of us that think AW is a great game that takes way too much crap from those with zero perspective on the redundant complaints that pop into their heads…or takes just enough crap from those that don’t enjoy near incessant running n’ gunning).

      • BradyAlucard

For what they did to the CoD community by always keeping SBMM in the game, I hope they come to their senses and take it out for the next game. They should at least tell us beforehand.

        • jordanxbrookes

But how will Activision get their hands on your money? As if they would tell you if they’re game is broken.

          • BradyAlucard

If Supply Drops werent sketchy enough…

    • Keshav Bhat

We mentioned that it’s available for free on social media pages.

  • Tested

Unless they tell us they’re going to sell Modern Warfare Remastered on its own i don’t care.

    • Jay Evan

Well, it’s only a bonus item, and it’s not the focus of this year.

      • Tested

Well more people are excited about the “bonus item” then the main item.. just shows how bad call of duty is getting..

        • Epicsand

          Nice claim.

        • Logic Chief

For many of us hardcore fans we buy the $100 version every year and only got season pass and game and if we also get another remastered game for the same value i’m set.

          • Eddie Tupy

finally someone who knows whats good

        • Ryan H. Langaz

For someone that dislikes the franchise so much, you seem to do a whole lot of commenting on the posts regarding the game…

          • BradyAlucard

And he’s allowed to, because this site doesn’t exist for fanboyism.

          • jordanxbrookes

Not all of us are in a dream land of CoD always being flawless. People who criticize CoD (like myself) are usually the ones that love CoD and want CoD to be great again.

        • Stefan Lang

It’s their own fault. These changes we see in the game now are because these same people complained about how CoD was getting stale year after year and nothing new was added to the game to shake up the gameplay. AW took the risk and changed up the movement, then Bo3, and now IW. Things will go back to the simple boots on the ground gameplay but how long will the ww1/ww2 shit last before we hear “This is getting boring give us something Modern” and THEN “Oh enough of this bs already give us something futuristic!” Some of these people don’t have a clue what they really want.

          • BradyAlucard

Good, it’s a start, but non-gamers just compared AW to Crysis and Titanfall. It’s a rip off to just copy and paste the same game every year, IMO.

        • CoDforever

You realize that could be said for any cod game in the past 5 years, right?

If BO1 or MW3 wasnt released yet and came out with a cod4 remake then everyone would “seemingly” be more excited for that than the main game.

        • Austin Michael Titus

A lot of the people that plan on playing cod 4 only are going to be very disappointed. Nostalgia is great, but the current community is just going to exploit and ruin what we once knew.

    • Logic Chief

if you don’t want infinite warfare i bet 100% you can just sell it off for $40 easy

      • Activision Employee

Not if the rumors are true and you need the Infinite Warfare Blu-Ray to start and play the remaster. Activision isn’t dumb, they’ll do it that way as rumored.

        • BradyAlucard

No they won’t. That rumor is debunked via the Call of Duty website, unless anything changes in the future. It said that they are separate.

          • .Monkey

Could be that some textures and whatever are in disk.

          • BradyAlucard

It’s a separate digital download (although I think it should be in physical form instead of digital, personally, or both).

          • jjmoney

No it IS required to play modern warfare remastered. If you don’t have the digital download or disk in the console of infinite warfare, then you will not be able to use modern warfare remastered. It’s into insure that people are forced to buy infinite warfare if they want to play Modern Warfare Remastered.

          • BradyAlucard

Not true ATM, I’ll believe it when I see it. It’s illegal for Activision to lie about these things.

          • Drank Bleach

Did you just say that Activision can’t lie? Lol thanks for the giggles.

          • BradyAlucard

I said that they aren’t able to lie because it’s [perhaps] illegal. Believe me, I’m probably the most critical person when it comes to Activision and their sleaziness on this site, but I was just making the point that may be false advertising.

          • Kobrah

Do you have a link/screenshot of that? Not doubting or arguing, just out of interest and would like to see for myself

          • BradyAlucard

            Sure, one second.

          • BradyAlucard
          • Kobrah

So MWR will be a digital download, but you might still need the IW disc to play, like if you got the $10 digital upgrade from PS3 to PS4 in Ghosts, you had to have the PS3 disc in the PS4 to play. So I am still not sure, I could still be either way ATM IMO. Thanks for sharing your info though Brady

          • BradyAlucard

            No problem, friend!

    • GGKiddies1v1onDiablo

You’re gonna buy it either way, stop complaining and enjoy the games.

    • Tsaki

They won’t sell it separately. At least not in the first 3 months of the games cycle. Believe me, MW is the only thing that I am excited for CoD this year, but not excited enough to spend 80 dollars on it. ( Especially knowing that the game will ship with half the maps of the original. I guess they have to sell us DLC for MW too. ) I’ll just wait for about 4 months until they will inevitably release MW seperately.

    • Daniel

If they did it, IW would not sell at all lol

    • DeadZombieGaming 12

Not surprised if they do it… It just means more money for them…

  • Gamerazor247

Lol, no shit Activision, just give me Multiplayer trailers to ∞W and MWR, with a good generic Eminem track and a Open Beta announcement, than you’ll have my attention.

    • Activision Employee

Wow, using the infinity sign. You’re classy, I can tell.

Shit, you figured out how to solve the abbreviation problem with Infinite Warfare. Props.

      • .Monkey

Infinity ward and infinite warfare both can still be mixed up if that’s what you’re referring to as their both “infinite”

      • jjmoney

Actually that’s an “infinity” symbol not infinite but still a good way I guess

    • J4MES

I wanna see KEM Strikes, Field Orders, a dog, IED’s and Mark Rubin in Infinite Warfare too. Besht gaime evur!

Ghosts DLC maps are GREAT! is not that bad…
Just play some Advanced Warfare and you will see…Ghosts is NOT THAT BAD…

        • DLC maps in Ghosts was shit. Too gimmicky and cartoony. Yeah, literal fucking ghosts and snow monsters are great.

          • Austin Michael Titus

field orders made it a little wonky, but the maps were pretty good

          • Field orders being wonky is what ruined the maps.

    • ccrows

There’s enough evidence out there that there’s gonna be a beta. (AKA Target code article)

& who cares how a trailer looks, when there’s gonna be a beta…

    • Austin Michael Titus

which eminem track would you choose? too many good ones lol

      • BradyAlucard

        Not many new ones.

        • Austin Michael Titus

doesnt need to be new, wish he had some new ones though

          • BradyAlucard

Same… but they usually did brand new songs I’m pretty sure, besides MW2. I wonder what they would play?

          • Austin Michael Titus

I could see a few, but I don’t see the game fitting with them lol, unless they got him to make an unheard single.

      • jordanxbrookes

I wouldn’t choose any Eminem song for IW since they’re too great for this year’s CoD.

        • CoDforever

          bandwagoner

          • jordanxbrookes

Yes because someone having a different opinion to yours means I’m a bandwagoner lmao. If I’m a bandwagoner, then you’re a fucking blind sheep.

          • CoDforever

LOL. I never said the game is good nor bad and everyone that thinks the game is terrible based on a 2 minute cinematic CAMPAIGN trailer is just dumb, ignorant and stupid. Also I guarantee your opinion is formed around what other people thought of the game rather than what you really thought.

I also guarantee that if IW had 2 million likes instead of dislikes and everyone calling it the coolest looking game ever, your opinion would be more or less the exact same. Because you like to bandwagon.

          • jordanxbrookes

What I think is that Campaign will be ok and Multiplayer won’t be good. My thoughts, no one else’s. Once again, claiming I’m a bandwagoner because I said something bad about your precious Infinite Warfare lmao. And once again like I said, if I’m a bandwagoner then you’re a fucking blind sheep.

          • CoDforever

What I think is that the MP will either be good, bad, terrible or great. Why? Because I havent seen or played anything yet, lol.

Eminem doesnt deserve to be on that trash known as CoD ghosts either, but u never said anything about that.

And I have COD4, Titanfall 2, BF1 AND Infinite Warfare to play so you tell me whose got the last laugh?

          • tuby

Eminem is a desperate white negro

        • Austin Michael Titus

didnt quite like the picks they used for bo1 and ghosts, but it got pretty hyped when it played on five lol

      • alteredizzy1010

great idea to make the reveal shittier put a gay ass eminem song

        • Austin Michael Titus

can only wonder why the community is so bad when toxic people like you are in it. if you dont like him, keep it to yourself.

          • alteredizzy1010

lol almost every reveal has had it and its crappy songs. if you’re trying to appeal to fans to get the game dont have shitty Eminem music

          • Austin Michael Titus

Black ops and ghosts. That’s not every reveal. Eminem has one of the biggest fan bases in music, it’s just not your style. Anything but crappy dub step or trap.

          • jordanxbrookes

            And MW2.

          • Austin Michael Titus

Had no idea of that, I started playing in bo1, probably why lol. That’s kick ass they had till I collapse on it. By far better then survival and won’t back down.

CI gets ripped the other day for going an entire week without news.

Now CI is getting ripped for upcoming E3 articles about COD.

This site just cannot win… 🙁

      • Keshav Bhat

We got ripped for not posting for a full week? Sorry, been busy playing Overwatch and relaxing a little before the E3 hype kicks in 🙂

  • ccrows

    My E3 “MWR wishlist”:

    * The remaining 5 maps to be named.

    * Somebody to at least ask if the remaining 10 maps will come later in DLC. (even if they can’t comment at E3, I’m hoping that somebody at least asks about it)

    * & of course any map footage of the remastered MP maps would be great… 🙂

    • BradyAlucard

Hope they include the maps in Infinite Warfare’s Season Pass instead of doing it via microtransactions. Fingers crossed.

    • jordanxbrookes

      * and to add Winter Crash to PS4 and XB1 when Christmas comes. Us console peasants never got to play on that map.

      • Mick

Winter crash? Never heard of that.

        • Winter Crash was a PC exclusive map to Call of Duty 4. Same map, just covered in snow and Christmas lights

          • Mick

            That’s pretty fricken cool.

        • jordanxbrookes

Winter Crash was a free map to PC players when Christmas came around.

  • Sentinel

TBH, I think that most of ya’ll who claim that are a “true” fan of Call of Duty are full of shit. Most of ya’ll have no clue of the history of the brand. Don’t even give credit where is due. Infinity Ward is one of the studios who set the bar high in the gaming industry. The Best First Person Shooter On It’s Prime Times. But a lot of ya’ll forget that is NOT just the multiplayer that makes Call of Duty a whole game. Ya’ll forget that Infinite Warfare will be the first COD to a lot of gamers. I’m sure that they will feel the same way as us, true fans, felt when we got our hands on COD4. The story was the most captivating part of the gameplay. I’m sure that true fans would agree. Online mode is just there to provide the competive and/or entertainment gameplay. Most of ya’ll don’t play the campaign at all and is okey but I will say that you missing a lot of the experience! They know how to immerse true fans into the military world game. Along with Sledge Hammer games. “Call of Duty Ghosts sucks, fuck you infinity ward!” Ya’ll act like hitting rock bottom in life is the end of it all. Anyways, put some respect on Infinity Ward’s name. Most disliked game on youtube? Great, who gives a fuck. Haters gonna hate. What is interesting is that is reaching heights on the Internet. There is only one thing worse than being talked about and that is not being talked about. Meanwhile Call of Duty stays relevant. Get it? Got it? Good. & The supply drops, you hate it? okay. I understand where you coming but listen, until you can move a mountain with your bare hands, IOW if you can stop the supply drops. You got my attention. Otherwise just stay pedaling fiction buddy. Just are as much as irrelevant word itself. If you read this far, just remember that time is the most valuable asset of life, spend it wisely my friend.

    • J4MES

You missed the most critical part in regards to the history of the brand being that the current Infinity Ward studio’s personnel had nothing to do with Call of Duty 4. It may be the same name but it’s not the same team. The current team minus the additional influx of Neversoft Staff are only famous for the infamous Call of Duty Ghosts. Jason West and Vince Zampella would have never resorted to taking a military brand title which originally stemmed from their days producing Medal of Honor, into space.

      • RdJokr

And yet, MW2, the last title that West and Zampella were involved in, had a small campaign scene in space… Just saying…

        • J4MES

One scene from a satellite of a nuke is not comparable with a game thats entire premise is based around space in the very distant future. MW2 was a war branded title and not some far future sci-fi blockbuster. That’s just desperate clutching at straws.

          • RdJokr

So you’re saying that we can’t have military and war in space?

          • J4MES

No. Please learn to read and stop being ignorant and twisting my original post which highlighted the fact that the original IW team had nothing to do with COD4. I was merely responding to you where you somehow think one scene from MW2 constitutes to a game set in a space premise and is comparable with the upcoming title. Clutching at straws x2 it seems…

          • RdJokr

First off, my comment about the MW2 scene was purely a joke. Sorry if you didn’t get that.

Second, saying that West and Zampella wouldn’t never bring COD to space is ridiculous. It’s like saying they’ll never turn a WW2 military franchise into a modern action blockbuster one. Oh wait, they did. And let’s not forget that these guys built a fucking sci-fi MP game with COD-style gameplay, and they’re making a sequel for it as we speak. And the lore they built for it is as militaristic as it can get. As long as there is some credible source that could make a futuristic setting for COD believable, it will be used, regardless of whether it’s the old IW, the new IW, or Treyarch and SHG.

Third, not everyone at IW left, that’s a very wrongful statement to make. Only over half the original team left. The other half are still there, creating new games with new faces. I don’t understand the need to discredit the team just because the old prominent faces aren’t there. Now that we have new talents from Naughty Dog, Crystal Dynamic joining IW, their COD could turn out better than expected.

          • ccrows

“Second, saying that West and Zampella wouldn’t never bring COD to space is ridiculous.”

Meh, they still ended up doing space with Titanfall…

(inb4 someone says Zampella only. West was there for a few months before he left).

          • RdJokr

LOL, just realized I typed “wouldn’t never”. Should’ve been “would never”.

          • J4MES

Once again; I didn’t say that. I really don’t know why you are going so far off topic from my original statement. Also as it stands; the rest of the old IW team left after Ghosts with Mark Rubin. Plus; creating a guest account to agree with yourself is a really bad idea as we all know what happened to Lovekiller/Guywithbrains…

          • RdJokr

I didn’t, and have never created guest accounts. I’m not that desperate for Internet points.

          • BradyAlucard

Don’t forget the fact that they’re making a third-person Star Wars game.

          • CyberWolf

RdJokr’s right, you know. There can be and will be combat in space at one point in the future. We’ve only had 2 games in the distant future. Besides, the series has been going into the future gradually ever since MW1 and it does make sense. A lot, actually. I, for one, was actually pretty tired of WW2 because they showed us pretty much the same battles. World at War was the only CoD to explore the Pacific theater. If they made another modern game, the story would have every chance to end up too similar to the Modern Warfare series, and then you’d all be complaining that it’s “same shit, different day”. Ghosts’ storyline was pretty original and yet it still had many similarities with the Modern Warfare storyline.
Also, fun fact: Modern Warfare was released in 2007 and its story took place in 2011. Thus the game was already in the near future.

          • RdJokr

I edited what now? I made a joke, you guys took it too serious. It was in bad taste. That said, I am not going to edit anything, and won’t ever do it. Internet karma or not, I’m not going to retract my statement just to save face.

          • J4MES

You edited your OP. It can be seen the web cache log along with the log of you posting with a guest account from the same router. Looks like people haven’t learned their lesson after LLORT obliterated Lovekiller from this site for using two accounts to agree with himself.

          • RdJokr

Now you’re just talking bullshit. I did not edit my post, nor did I create clone accounts. I did make one minor edit to a comment, and that was for grammar correction. Even made another comment about it down below.

          • J4MES

The webcache shows your original message word for word and it was a re-write and not a ‘grammar correction’.

Let’s no get into another Lovekiller situation as his antics were exposed in humiliating fashion for everyone to see and there is no hiding from the trace log data which is available to view if you know how….

          • RdJokr

Talk is cheap. Prove it. I can’t wait to see what fake Photoshops you come up with.

          • J4MES

Photoshops? You don’t need pictures when hard data can be tracked:-
            @rdjokrnguyen//discus_acc/staticID_601_1_4_28**03.msk
            [entlog~stmp/BST//11.08_cache.bin]

            [entlog~stmp/BST//11.09_cache.bin]

Just like Lovekiller and Guywithbrains but at least he had the decency to admit to using both accounts eventually before departing the site in shame.

          • RdJokr

I’m sorry, but what does that even mean? Anyone can post some line of codes and make it look like they’re some kind of tech wiz. You still haven’t proven shit.

          • J4MES

Caught bang to rights. Anyone can view the cache logs and it those that exposed Lovekiller and Guywithbrains as being the same person which is why he departed the site with both his accounts. Anyone can verify this proof but at least Lovekiller admitted it in the end instead of playing dumb before he disappeared.

          • RdJokr

Don’t have to play dumb here, because unlike you, I don’t go around accusing people of shit they didn’t do. And that’s another thing: you still haven’t proven that I edited my original comment. I’d like to see you try.

          • J4MES

I’ve already conclusively proven it and like Lovekiller; it’s not something that can ever be talked out of. The webcache log data if you understand such a simple thing, proves it clearly.

Really don’t know why so many users (mostly COD fanboys) on this site have multiple accounts to upvote and/or agree with themselves and it’s funny after the Lovekiller scenario; only a small fraction now continue to post with multi’s in fear of being left red faced…

          • RdJokr

“Conclusively” my ass. The one point I’ve brought up and you still haven’t proven it. You’re full of shit.

And just to shut your shitty lies down even more, none of my recent comments have any upvotes. I don’t even upvote myself, let alone create clones to do that.

Now go jerk off somewhere else and stop trying to frame people on the Internet.

          • J4MES

LMAO! I published your masked router ID and the post entry logs for both your original post and the guest account you used one minute later to agree with yourself. Both accounts used the same router and if LLORT sees this; he’ll be able to publish the device ID’s too which will be the final nail in the coffin like he did with Lovekiller. No point in getting all potty-mouthed when you’ve been caught out.

          • RdJokr

You must be really desperate to shame me for something I didn’t do. Continue this charade all you want; I will continue to post here, and your petty attempts will not be able to sway me.

          • J4MES

I don’t want anyone to leave the site but if you’re continuing to use it; do it in a credible and honest fashion and you may get some respect from other users in the process.

        • #RIPCOD 2003-2012

You’re comparing one cutscene from a modern day CoD set on a credible backdrop with a game that is set predominately in space on a distant future setting?

You Infinite Warfare apologists are moronic to say the least.

        • jordanxbrookes

It is true that there is a cutscene in space. It is also true that there was going to be a mission set in space, which was cut and replaced with a cutscene instead. But the difference is, that is ONE cutscene and it was going to be ONE mission, whereas Infinite Warfare will have most of the game set in space.

          • RdJokr

            It was a joke, chill.

      • BradyAlucard

Some staff from the original studio are still working there and working on IW.

        • J4MES

I don’t think they count the office cleaners.

          • BradyAlucard

Is Volker still employed? They’re more than cleaners.

          • J4MES

I don’t think animators play a big part when all they are doing is coding an existing engine underlay which is the only reason why such staff have been retained. It’s personnel like that in today’s industry that is why COD is linear and overly-scripted. If there are any Ghosts left from Ghosts; they are purely fringe and not on the frontline where the greater impact is made on the product as a whole. The heart of IW is long gone and we’re left with an influx of Guitar Hero staff who inputted on Ghosts and only really have Tony Hawk to their name. IW is just quantity now but whether there’s any quality; we’ll just have to see.

      • Sentinel

War can have any settings, from past to present and future. Yeah I know about Jason and Vince were the studio head who introduced most of us to COD4 and MW2. Don’t forget that by that time, they were under creative restrictions by their parent company, Activision. They are the ones who steer the direction of their brand. After their termination with the studio and the follow up of other IW employees leaving. Went on to start their own studio, Respawn Entertainment. Now I will have to disagree with you, mainly since you don’t know them personally to state that they “would never resorted to taking military brand, into space.” Yet after their first release of Titanfall, created under NO creative restrictions. Is the first studio who Introduced spaceships, wall-running, boost jump, and 3D movement into a future military setting. This just makes your point invalid. Infinity Ward is now under new management and it takes some time for all the teams to be on the same page and work efficiently. Now this will be their first COD under a 3 year development cycle along with two of Naughty Dog developers who have a credible reputation. I’m not going to jump onto conclusion yet until I play the full game and have a better judgement.

        • J4MES

Creative restrictions? Activision DIDN’T even want a modern Call of Duty http://www.gamespot.com/articles/activision-did-not-want-modern-warfare-infinity-ward/1100-6232123/ and the developers could do what they wanted back then and it wasn’t down to Activision. Just because they produced Titanfall; doesn’t mean they would have made Call of Duty this way. Don’t try and pass speculation and guesswork as fact if you can’t get the basics right.

          • Sentinel

Wow, okey haha. “Activision DIDN”T even want a modern Call of Duty” Thus proves my point on creative restrictions. The whole article does. The developers could do what they wanted back then you say? Call of Duty project lead Jason West went on to note, “We had to fight
for everything. They wanted it to be World War II. Again.” That is that. & pass speculation? No buddy, you got me all wrong there. http://www.gamespot.com/articles/activision-acquires-infinity-ward/1100-6077624/ Note the date, October 30, 2003.

          • J4MES

But IW went against these phantom ‘creative restrictions’ that you’ve just made up to create Modern Warfare lol! The reason they left Activision was to link up with EA again who they worked with in the 90’s for many years. There is nothing to suggest that they would detract from the brand they created to go and produce some space nonsense. If Activision wanted them to do it because of ‘creative restrictions’ they would have walked today rather than obliterate the brand in this fashion.

          • Sentinel

This is so vague…lol! Anyways, suit yourself.

          • Sentinel

“doesn’t mean they would have made Call of Duty this way.” Again, stating as if was a sure thing. Was it? haha Don’t be naive. & Don’t get ahead of yourself buddy, jumping onto conclusion too soon would make you seem just plain stupid. I’m done here.

  • Fuck-Off

    I want MWR Multiplayer trailer

    • DeadZombieGaming 12

I bet it’s just grenades… and bugs… Cause CoD 4 was pretty much that and that’s the reason it was good.

  • Haddock>Cod

I feel sorry for Sony having to promote this garbage on their exclusive stage as Activision couldn’t even get a premium stage slot this year as they have nothing to offer. I hope they don’t waste too much time on this tiresome franchise and we get to see some proper mature games and some decent new IP’s. It’s already humiliating enough to see people more interested in a 2007 remaster and it’ll be painful to watch Infinity Ward trying to promote this space warfare trash like they did with Ghosts. Just remember people; try not too get too hyped on scripted ‘gameplay’ trailers as we all know how stupid people looked after being amazed by a dog on Ghosts, Kevin Spacey on Advanced Warfare and robots on a train in Black Ops 3. Don’t fall for it for the 4th year running and then come crying that the game sucks a day after release.

    • DEMOLITION12

      0.5 kd detected

      • BradyAlucard

KD is irrelevant (inb4 0.5 KD confirmed).

        • Kill Denied

In a game where killing and dying plays a big part, kill death ratio matters.

          • BradyAlucard

No it doesn’t. It’s just a statistic in a casual game that makes the players act like they’re good at the game when it really doesn’t matter. Anyone can camp and get a high KD. Where’s the fun in that?

          • Kill Denied

Kill Death is indicative of skill, whats the point of playing when you spend half the time dead.

          • To complete challenges and unlock kick-ass camos or calling cards that are usable in other game modes, like Campaign or Zombies? Especially zombies. So long as you’re having fun, it literally does not matter how good or bad you are at the game.

          • Kill Denied

You can do all of that and still go positive, some people at least.

          • BradyAlucard

Skill in a casual game? Who’s anyone to judge how they spend their $60? Gaming is about fun, not skill.

          • tuby

Or can have a great game with a nice kd without camping. Strange that you think you need to camp to get a nice kd. Maybe it is your way to play. But in a casual game will still be a difference between skill lvl otherwise everbody have the same stats

          • BradyAlucard

Skill shouldn’t matter and/or be the main concern in a casual game. I get good KD’s by holding an area and taking advantage of the spawn points, like any “pubstomper” would, but that is NOT how I want to play every game. I want to play in ordinance to my playstyle and have fun doing it, whether that being a negative KD or not. I’m just asking – why should those that *do* have a 0.50 KD matter? Who wants to play against 2-3 KD players?

          • tuby

Holding down a area and knowing the spawns is ok. I also take advantages from spawns and holding down a area sometimes. Holding down a area is my to go playstyle when I play free for all. But in general I like to rush and run and gun but not like a chicken without a head.
But I can still pubstomp without need to holding down a area the entire game. But fair enough anybody can have his own preference.
I never mind playing against 2-3 kd players because I never look at the enemy their stats. |For sure I have also sometimes a less good game for example 45 kills and 20 deaths. I never had a 0,50 KD so I dont know how it feels to play against better players with a large skill gap.
But I agree that you must have fun at the game. I only want to point out that you can get a good KD without camping.

          • BradyAlucard

I know that players can get a good KD without camping after watching “pubstomping” YouTubers, but I’m just sick and tired of the notion that you have to have good stats or else you’re “bad at the game”, because there are more factors that make KD irrelevant and that CoD has to have some sort of stupid competitive environment. I don’t think it matters. There are players worse than me, but have better KD’s because of the way they play.

          • Tuby

I agreed most important is that you have fun at a game. People who need to play a certain way to get a good kd is silly. Sometimes I like to play with only my knife andl lethals fuck my kd.

          • J4MES

K/D is all that matters to the COD community. It always has been and always will be. The games aren’t fun these days because the core mechanics are so simplified; as long as you can react and have a good connection; it’s impossible to have a bad game.

        • jordanxbrookes

It’s kind of relevant in all honesty. TDM and FFA are made to have people gain high K/Ds. (Btw this next bit excludes BO2, AW and BO3) Also in objective modes, by gaining a load of kills with minimal deaths and calling in killstreaks that will keep the enemy away from objectives (aka being a slayer), you are essentially helping out your team to victory, thus K/D is relevant.

          • BradyAlucard

I’m just mainly talking about the overall stat lol.

          • jordanxbrookes

Overall it just shows if you’re a slayer or not really. That’s about it lol

          • BradyAlucard

Yeah, but I’m just tired of people judging my experience off of an irrelevant stat. :/

      • Haddock>Cod

3.93 actually. I known I’ve deeply offended your beloved Cod but please stop with the k/d ‘insults’ you silly child. Seems the Cod community still hasn’t grown up or learned their lessons from previous years……

    • lunator100hd .

You probably have 10 days on bo3 and 99% sure you will buy IW , shut up already, if you really hate cod play something else(battleshit 1).

      • Haddock>Cod

Why the hell would I buy another IW game after Ghosts? You morons are so stupid – get hyped all year waiting for a game then hate it in the first week. At least Battlefield games last for years and have a far more mature and active community. The reason Cod kiddies don’t like Battlefield is because they are intimidated by a proper FPS where you need skill and teamwork to win and not just camping or a better connection. You also don’t see pink maps and gingerbread men in BF which is why it’s designed for people who are older than 13. I will buy BF1 and then pirate Modern Warfare Remastered on PC. Sorry if I have offended your precious Cool of Doody.

        • lunator100hd .

Hahahaha Go play your ”proper” FPS, no matter what you say Infinity Warfare will be a better game than battleshit 1.

”second Cod game”, ” zero recoil ”, ”supply drops”, ”before you were born” Do you have more jokes?

      • Siftblade >ScOott is my King<

I like how you make assumptions that everyone who makes fun of the game is 99% going to buy it. I come on this site because I like COD and want it to be good again. That being said, IW looks gay and I’m not going to buy it. Wanna call me a liar?

        • J4MES

I don’t know why COD fanboys still persist on the claim that ‘people will buy it anyway’ even if they ‘hate’ the franchise as the unit sales have declined by over 10m units per game each year. I’m desperate for COD to return to its heights like most departed and disgruntled fans but as you say; people wont hesitate not to buy it and how it looks now; I’m not even enticed to see any further details on it.

          • jordanxbrookes

CoD will never get to height it once was at again. It’s sad to think that, but it’s the truth.

        • Sentinel

Hey, are you going to borrow Modern Warfare Remastered from someone to play it?

          • Siftblade >ScOott is my King<

I probably won’t play it unless I go to a friends house to play. 4-player local splitscreen was the best part about COD4 anyways

          • Sentinel

Oh that’s cool and yeah, it was. I just didn’t like when they looked at my screen!

        • lunator100hd .

What do you mean ” IW looks gay” ? For me justin bieber looks gay, i dont see any similarity.

          • Siftblade >ScOott is my King<

To me, IW is to videogames as Bieber is to music. There’s your similarity

          • lolfuck

Bieber’s music is a whole lot better now tho

      • Mike_Scarn597

You think Infinite Warfare is going to be better than Battlefield 1? If that ain’t the funniest thing I’ve heard all day then I don’t what is. You truly are a moronic fanboy

        • Dickmissle

Show me real gameplay for Bf1 it’s just a reskin like most bf

    • DeadZombieGaming 12

      Another troll account? Fucking hell!

    • jordanxbrookes

I learned my lesson from AW. I’m being optimistic about IW, but I have so much doubt in Infinite Warfare’s multiplayer right now.

      • J4MES

AW did have one of the most convincing marketing and promotional campaigns I’ve seen and I think many can be forgiven for their high expectations as most of the negative aspects weren’t prominent enough until the game was actually released. SBMM and the exo’s didn’t seem a huge issue until release but the way the game was presented in the build up was actually very impressive compared to the end product. That’s why I’m taking everything now with a pinch of salt especially from IW. Also SHG have a lot of bridges to build and much convincing to be done. If it’s AW2; they can sod right off!

        • jordanxbrookes

AW’s Campaign was good except for the ending. Multiplayer was fun for the first week which then turned to trash. Exo Survival was a lame skin of MW3 Survival. Then Activision/Sledgehammer have us paying for the actual co-op mode “Exo Zombies” in which the only fun map in that mode was Outbreak. The rest were just not interesting to me.

          • J4MES

I think Exo zombies was concocted in a few weeks after people’s angry reaction to the exo survivial mode. There is no way the ‘secret’ zombies mode was planned and produced during production of the game and Sledgehammer panicked and then chucked it together in a short period of time to appease the widespread anger that it caused. That was another reason why AW failed miserably in the end as a product for me.

      • [PCMR] Grimlock

I remember you acting like the biggest AW fanboy and you became a hater once you realized how bad it was.

        • jordanxbrookes

          Good times lol

          • [PCMR] Grimlock

Sorry my bad english cause i dont speak english very well. But I go back and play A LOT of COD4 this weekend and this game WAS Awesome but his time is passed out. I mean, on the past, COD4 was THE BEST but there is a lot of things WRONG on this game. Frag x3 for example…you guys will see, some changes are GOOD and i think this is the strategy of infinity ward, you know? They are trying to show us that COD4 is not THAT GOOD…is a good game, but the changes they made was NECESSARY!!!

PS.: Sorry my bad english again…its hard for me explain what i think in another language.

    • Tsaki

I hope they make changes to CoD4. (As you said Frags x3 was bullshit). But I think they stated that the game will be exactly like CoD4. (Missing half the maps of course.)

      • The gamer

They are not going to make changes. What would be the point? MW2 is basically cod4 with changes. That is all any of these games are. Changing cod4 is is entirely counter to the point of the exercise, which is playing cod4 again. Is it perfect? no, but no cod game is. Enjoy it for what it was or dont.

    • Call of Duty 4 is that good. I dont know what point you’re trying to make, but it sure as hell beats any other IW game that has been made.

I’m fine with leaving CoD4 as it is. Its imperfections is what made it also great.

      • Diego Diniz

I can tell some things better on other COD games:
        – Slide movement
        – Keep your “momentum” when climb obstacles
        – Better streaks (like Predator Missle, AC-130…)
        – They remove Frag x3 (people spam frag EVERYWHERE on COD4)

        • Slide movement is nothing, it brings nothing new. The momentum or movement was fine back then. Sorry the game wasnt designed for futuristic wall running and exo boost. Which doesn’t make it better. They’re just gimmicks. Streaks were fine too. I liked 3 5 7

          • Diego Diniz

Dude, “3-5-7” was good…but Predator Missle, Harrier Strike, Pave Low, AC-130, Chopper Gunner, NUKE…that was AMAZING!

          • And that was good, but doesn’t fit CoD4 really

          • [PCMR] Grimlock

Just wait for Infinite Warfare 2 in 2019 and you’ll have MW2 Remastered bundled.

In other news, water is wet. How is it news that COD is going to give more details at E3, it has happened every year and will continue to happen every year until activision beats the horse to death. I know what the next article should read, Infinite warfare to have 4 separate DLC packs for $15 a piece or purchase a season pass and save $10

    • Keshav Bhat

You guys yell at us for not posting news for a week, then I decide to post an article about E3 to start the conversation about what to expect, and get ripped. No winning out here, huh.

      • GinsuVictim

Pay no attention to idiots such as these.

  • Mike_Scarn597

EA (as much as I dislike them) and the Coalition have won the holiday season as far as videogames go. CoD will hopefully tank this year and maybe they’ll realize they should listen to what the majority of its fanbase wants: boots on the ground. Not this gay thrusters and exos BS we keep getting.

    • GinsuVictim

Prepare to be disappointed if you think CoD won’t be in first again.

      • Mike_Scarn597

        They won’t be.

        • GinsuVictim

I expect you to edit or delete that comment later this year.

          • Mike_Scarn597

You do realize that I am talking about overall satisfaction and replay, right? Not sales. BF4 came out in 2013 and it’s still not boring. 6 months after the last 3 Call of Duties and people were bored with it.

          • GinsuVictim

I still play the hell out of BF4 as well, however Hardline…..
I also play BO, MW3, BO2, Ghosts, AW, and BO3 regularly, as do plenty of other people.

          • Mike_Scarn597

Yea, thank Visceral for Hardline. I’m stoked that BF1 is EA and DICE, as every BF should only be made by them. And I’ll be playing lots of MW3 when it gets added to the backwards compatible list.

          • GinsuVictim

I’ll be playing Threat Level Midnight, a new game starring Michael Scarn. 😉

    • djml9

Everytime the listen to what the “fans” “want”, they get shit on.

      • Mike_Scarn597

I remember fans asking for something to change up the flow of the game. I do not remember fans asking for Call of Duty to basically copy Titanfall’s movement system. The boosters and wall running worked great on that game, but not CoD, esp. AW. On top of that, CoD developers seem to think that going further into the future is going to make things better with fictional weapons.

        • djml9

They didnt copy titanfall. AW was in developement years before anybody even knew TF was a thing. And BO3 was started not long afte that. People demanded something new and different, and AW did just that. TF just so happened to do something similar. Regardless, Sledgehammer listened and Did something new, and they got shit on because it changed the way you play the game and people didnt like that. And IW listened to people screamming and crying that thy were tired of small-medium 3-lane maps and that they wanted big, adsymetrical maps. Then when they delivered, they got shot on because it changed how you had to play the maps and people didnt like that.

Long story short, people, no matter how much they claim to want something new and different, dont want anything new or different. They liked it for a reason so why would they want something else? Its just the cool thing right now to hate CoD and attack it for not changing, while simultaneously attacking it for everything they change or add.

          • Mike_Scarn597

At the end of the day, I believe CoD’s legacy will be ruined thanks to 3 bad CoDs in a row. The year that they decide to go back to their roots (WWII) will be the year I master prestige for the first time. In the process, they will save themselves. And so help me god, if we get Advanced Warfare 2, I will murder a semi trailer full of puppies.

          • djml9

AW got alot of praise early on, as did BO3. How were they bad? They werent bad by any means.

          • Mike_Scarn597

No they did not. And they were bad. in my opinion, and many others, they just don’t feel like call of duty. AW had i think 3 guns that actually do exist and BO3 doesn’t have any. A huge majority of the maps from both games suck. And the thing that seals the deal for me on why both games are bad is the exo/thruster suit things. It’s ridiculous.

          • djml9

They both did get alot of praise. People were saying AW was a breath of fresh air for a while before they started complaining that it was different. And most people were saying Bo3 was the best CoD since BO1 for a while before they stared complaining that it was different. The guns may not have been all real guns but there were alot of interesting guns and also alot of futuristic versions of real guns. And the most of the maps are ok, but theyre obviously gonna suck to you of you dont like the new movement. Theyre made for that new movement.

          • GinsuVictim

3 bad CoDs in a row?
Ghosts? My favorite. Fuck the haters.
AW? I played the hell out of it, even if flawed. I’ve been playing it this week again and it’s still fun.
BO3? It has its issues, but mostly damn good.

All three flawed, but all of the ones before them have their flaws as well. Some people love MW2, while plenty of others HATE it.
Take that previous sentence, insert any game title in the series, and it will apply (other than MW1, which is mostly loved…but still has the occasional idiot that hates it).

        • Fans wanted change, COD is a shooting game where you all you do is run around and shoot people. You can’t chance it much. Everytime COD listen to their fans they get hated on, they get hated on for having the same game every year (WW2) so they go to modern, then they get shit on for it still being the same so they go to future, and now everyone wants to go back to WW2. They can’t win.

    • Keshav Bhat

They did listen. Specially, Infinity Ward listened. You guys ripped into them for everything about Ghosts. Any article or tweet we make about Ghosts gets tons of jokes or hate, back then, and even now. So, Infinity Ward had to innovate and really do something new. There was zero way we got a Ghosts 2 after all of everyone’s hate, even though a Ghosts 2 would’ve been cool to see.

Development is not easy. They listened to what we said 3 years ago. They cannot change the entire game 1.5 years into development when hate started coming in against Exos. Thats just not possible. So, that’s probably why they decided to include MWR with it. So that fans get a new innovative title and a throwback game.

      • djml9

Precisely, but prepare for people to scoff at your use of “innovative”, as the definition has become so twisted by people who hate CoD that now it has become this deliberately unattainable standard in order to perpetuate a reason to hate CoD.

      • Dickmissle’s Son

Seems like this guy is the only guy in this comment section with a set of brains 🙂

      • ScOott

U must be high as a kite man, I don’t understand how u can keep saying this and actually belive it..

They listened to us? LOL.. I think u will find the two biggest complaints were ttk and big maps not the movment.. They didn’t listen to anything..

Complaints below that were IED’s and and the cheesy film gimmicks they used..

No where in them complaints can u reach the conclusion of we must want advanced movment in space..

I’m sorry, I’m willing to give this next game a chance but ur talking complete bulshit..

The only thing ur correct on is that they made this becuse ghosts was a laughing stock..

We can only pray at this point that the game isn’t a fecking total disaster like A.W and ghosts.

        • Keshav Bhat

I am not high as a kite. Where were you during Ghosts? Press sites, fans, and so many people demanded Call of Duty to become “innovative” and stop staying the “same every year.”

Innovative means a TON of things. Not just TTK and map sizes…if you actually think that, then you’re high as a kite. Complaints ranged from TTK to “Ghost was to similar, and not ambitious.” Ghosts was not “innovative.” No one specifically asked for space, but what’s wrong with trying something new? If Infinite Warfare came out before AW, I am sure tons of people would be hyped. You’re basing your feelings on this game based off of how much you enjoyed AW & BO3.

If you actually think Infinity Ward was just gonna edit TTK and make COD 2016 like that, no, LOL. They probably decided on new movement like in early 2014, and that locked in place when they saw the new abilities and things it could do to unlock map design.

I am more than happy to get IW. If it’s not good, fine, I still have MWR to play.

          • ScOott

All I have seen from hardcore cod fans is what I stated before, read ur own comments section from ghosts, u won’t find many people asking for innovation if any people at all.

Only press people want this so they have something to write about, they can’t keep giving the same game year after year a good score and they should just fuck off.. It pisses me off a bunch of people who don’t even play the game demanding change..

As for adding to map design, it doesn’t it takes away from Mao design.. Having to Base maps around the movement system is ridicules, and u really can tell they have had to alter map design to fit in the movment.. While I like bo3 where are the classic maps? Maps we will remember for a long time like raid? There is none becuse the movement fucked that up..

Dlc has not been on parr with older Cods becuse they don’t have the time to make great maps becuse they constintly have to be thinking about movment..

Like I said the next Cod could be good, I’m not writing it off, I’m just saying no one asked for this as u suggest..

          • jordanxbrookes

ScOott is right there when it comes to map design. When it came to Black Ops 3 and AW, the developers had to make the maps work with the advanced movement, which not only took away the pacing of the map but also made them less memorable. It’s also because of this that we got Banzai which wasn’t a fan favourite map, but it worked with the advanced movement so they used it. Also I doubt the developers chose to do double jumps because that would seem silly having the devs wanting innovation but all 3 had double jumps and BO3 and IW both use thrusters. I reckon that was an Activision doing to claim that the games were innovative and use that to their advantage to market the games to continue making money. Clearly after the response of Advanced Warfare, Activision knew IW wouldn’t sell as much so they bundled a COD4 Remaster with it to get more sales. I’m not gonna complain though about Infinite Warfare all that much tbh because if the Multiplayer sucks, then I have COD4 Remastered, Titanfall 2, Battlefield 1 and the older CoDs on 360 to play.

      • J4MES

I don’t recall people in 2014 ever saying they wanted Call of Duty Space Warfare. Infinite Warfare doesn’t seem innovative in the slightest – it’s just AW and BO3 reskinned with spaceships that have been seen in videogames since the 1980’s. IW are just following the trend set by the two previous titles and what the dopey Activision board want them to do in relation to the target audience people under 12.

        • Keshav Bhat

I don’t recall people ever saying Ghosts 2 back in 2014, either. So why would they not be innovating and try something new? All you’ve seen is just a reveal trailer, not gameplay or how space effects it all.

And, Activision and developers have clearly said many times that developers have a lot of freedom to what they want to make.

For example, for AW, SHGames has said numerous times that they were the ones trying so hard to pitch the Exos to ATVI board and had a lot of convincing to do to make them say yes.

          • J4MES

It’s nothing new – it’s just the same thing we’ve seen in the last couple of years dressed up differently. Same ‘chain’ movement and fluidity with boost jumping. Innovation doesn’t just mean doing something new – it can also mean doing something unique and Infinite Warfare doesn’t exactly ooze that. BO3 was not much different from AW aside of being better quality but just because a few perks have different names and the fantasy guns are ‘different’; doesn’t constitute to ‘innovation’. Also if you believe everything Activision say; you are susceptible of being easily fooled and it’s those that the publisher preys on whereas people who can see through their tiresome and predictable antics; edge more on the side of caution rather than getting carried away with typical PR.

      • jordanxbrookes

For the record, don’t include me into the “You Guys” bit because I enjoyed Ghosts and wished Ghosts 2 was happening this year.

        • ScOott

I’m pretty sure u hated ghosts at the time and made an apology video saying it’s not the worst CoD when A.W hit?

          • jordanxbrookes

I hated Ghosts in the last month or two of its life cycle because I was getting bored of it and that is normal to do so. But for over 9 months I thoroughly enjoyed it. The only reason I retracted that hate video was because I was stupid enough to go along with the Ghosts hate after getting bored of the game. I knew it wasn’t right and with AW being awful, I had to do the right thing and admit I was wrong.

        • Aidan

I’d take Ghosts over BO3 any day. Treyarch did not deliver this year, BO3 is garbage. Ghosts is better than AW and BO3 combined, and I actually enjoy AW more than BO3.

        • GinsuVictim

          And me (obviously).

      • Mike_Scarn597

How many years have we heard, “New and innovative Call of Duty experience?” The devs laid out a plan that said something along the lines that each CoD for the next 5 years (this was in 2011 I think) would be set in the future. You want to sit there and defend the idiots at Activision that honestly thought it would be a good idea to have 5 Halo rip offs in a row?

        • Aidan

They thought it was a good idea because of people like you who, back in 2011 was probably complaining about CoD being the same old recycled shit as always, wanting something new and innovative. Now, you get something new and innovative, and all you do is bitch and whine about how you want the old CoD back. If you want old CoD back, go play an old cod. You act like they stop existing after the cycle is over. Go play MW2 or BO if you’re so tired of the futuristic shit and stop ruining things for people who are actually excited for this year’s title.

        • Keshav Bhat

“The devs laid out a plan that said something along the lines that each CoD for the next 5 years (this was in 2011 I think) would be set in the future.”

Do you have a source for this? Never seen or heard anyone say that.

    • DeadZombieGaming 12

I want advanced movement… BOG is no longer fun for ME

  • Mike_Scarn597

BRING BACK THE MELEE WITH KNIFE! NO MORE WHACKING PEOPLE WITH YOUR GUNS!

    • djml9

I hope the bring back Ghosts melee. It was perfect.

      • I would say WaW was. I as much as I liked the knife, it pissed me off when I got panicked knifed. In WaW it was damn near impossible to do that from what I remember. So I would like that one

        • djml9

I never played WaW but i liked that in Ghosts the melee actually hit when it was supposed to instead of missing 90% of the time.

      • GinsuVictim

The animation took forever and it would spin around and kill someone out of nowhere. I love Ghosts, but not the melee.

        • Cookin’ by the book

I actually enjoyed knifing in Ghosts because of that… 😀

        • djml9

I never had it spin, but the animation wasnt that long, and it always hit if you were in range. Not like in BO/MW3/BO2/AW where it missed 90% of he time. Also, the fact that you grab them and stab them makes more sense then a light slash.

          • GinsuVictim

Heh, BO2 One in the Chamber….whiff….whiff…..whiff….

          • djml9

I hated it for that very reason. If i missed a shot, there was no chance of getting back in.

          • GinsuVictim

Usually dolphin diving to knife worked, but if they had a bullet, it made for an embarrassing way to die. I love One in the Chamber, but the knifing is rough.

          • djml9

I never tried that. Dolphin diving always just made you an open target. I would never do it straight an an oponent. And you couldnt knife or shoot during it (since all video game soldiers seem to lack basic motor function e.g. cant shoot/aim/reload while sprinting/sliding/diving). It didnt even save you from bouncing betties. Knee slide is better in every way imo. Which Ghosts also did better.

          • GinsuVictim

Not always a dolphin dive, but at least going prone usually helps you win a knife fight if you both have no bullets.
The knee slide is definitely better. I was playing Far Cry 3 before Ghosts and was glad to see the slide show up.

          • djml9

A still target is way easier to hit though. I doubt it wouldve ever helped me.

      • Johtoboy

No, the melee attack was too strong in Ghosts. It’s a CQC “press to win button”. BO3 has it right. And this is coming from someone who likes Ghosts more than BO3.

        • djml9

The lower ttk as well as the time it took to complete the melee made it more balanced. And i was saying that if they dont keep the 2 hit melee, then Ghosts melee would be best. Its by far the best of the one hit melees.

          • Johtoboy

I will admit that Ghosts melee is better than, say, BO2’s melee which seems to never freaking work. Consistency is better than inconsistency. But, since this is Infinity Ward, you know the hit detection will be spot-on.

          • djml9

Thats precisely why Ghosts is my favorite CoD. I actually took time to adjust tp the maps so allbi experienced was fantastic hit detection, awesome melee, a great CaC, and all the other stuff Ghosts did right. Unfortunately most everybody hopped straight on the hate bandwagon rather than take the time to get used to the changes they begged for and demanded.

      • jordanxbrookes

Keep the Ghosts knifing, but take off the auto-lock it has. Made it way too easy to knife someone in close quarters and took away the skill that the new knife animation had.

        • djml9

I dont remember it being a problem, honestly. The lock is probably what made it work so well. It didnt work like spectre’s ripper or anything. If it really was an issue, maybe they could just lower the range/angle that it registers.

        • BradyAlucard

1 hit knives are too easy.

          • jordanxbrookes

But it’s at the cost of being stuck in an animation for 3 seconds which could get you killed in that time. That was a fair balance personally, but the auto-lock needed reworking.

          • BradyAlucard

It was so broken lol. Just see TheShwantz27 and JDFromNY206’s videos lol.

      • BradyAlucard

Uh no, that shit was broken.

    • CoDforever

Fuck no, never bring back panic knifing

    • BradyAlucard

      BO3’s is perfect.

      • Aidan

Black ops 3 is the worst CoD I’ve ever played.

        • Kobrah

Thanks for your great and relevant comment that really added to the topic being discussed… Not…

          • Aidan

            Just sharing my opinion

        • BradyAlucard

Rage-wise for me? Yes, but man, I’m sorry you feel that way.

    • DeadZombieGaming 12

CONFIRMED: No Exo Suits in Infinite Warfare 😀

    • Mike_Scarn597

      need proof

      • vitaliy garasymovych
        • Mike_Scarn597

I seriously hope CoD is a critical and commercial flop. Reading that tweet literally made my good mood that I had go away.

          • GinsuVictim

I can’t wait to see just how many months in a row Infinite Warfare is number one. Even Ghosts was number one for like five or six months in a row. Same with AW.

          • Mike_Scarn597

You really think Infinite Warfare is going to be the number one game for 6 months straight?

          • [PCMR] Grimlock

It’s made by Infinity Ward, the weakest of COD devs, makers of Ghosts. It will be garbage just like their last game.

I would not be surprised if the TTK on IW will be similar to Ghosts.

          • J4MES

Advanced Warfare wasn’t number one for very long as GTA V held top spot for long periods. Ghosts was also released at a time when there were no good alternatives available on console and it still failed in Activision’s eyes in terms of quality and sales so kudos for them ridding Mark Rubin and co for that. If IW turns out to be trash and still holds top spot for long periods; this will be a console generation to forget – it’s bad enough there are only a few good games in nearly 3 years and two of the worst COD games ever have done reasonably well but they’ve been fortunate having few titles to compete with.

          • fr4gbob

2 of the worst COD games ever? do you mean AW and BLOPSIII?

I can’t say anything about AW, cause after the mess they made of Ghosts, I went right off COD…. I didn’t come back till BLOPSIII 3 had been out a while, after watching a ton of youtube vids I purchased it and it is now my second favourite COD ever, just behind BLOPSII and just ahead of MW….

To call such a great game one of the worst ever is ridiculous to me, we kept getting the same thing year after year, all the way from MW to Ghosts, there was very little change and it was boring as hell by that point, I wish I had tried AW, I feel I missed out there, but BLOPSIII is amazing.

          • J4MES

I was talking about Ghosts and AW.

          • GinsuVictim

AW did beat GTA V in November and December of that year.

          • J4MES

AW was top 2 weeks out of 4 in each November and December – release which was a given and christmas which is also a given. GTA V and FIFA 15 both shared top spots either side of that before AW slid down the charts becoming the lowest selling Call of Duty to date which prompted Activision to not disclose unit sales figures to shareholders for the first time on one of their products.

    • Siftblade >ScOott is my King<

Doesn’t matter exo suits or not, it’s still advanced movement. They just removed the visual exo suits, whoop de doo.

      • jordanxbrookes

Exactly. It’s like saying: “The good news is there’s no double jumps. The bad news is there are double jumps”. Exos, Thrust Jumps, it’s all the same advanced movement garbage that no one wants.

        • Siftblade >ScOott is my King<

Yeah, they’re just wording it to make it seem like a big deal. It means nothing. Advanced movement is still there, exo-suits or not.

          • Keshav Bhat

Actually, no. Lots of folks last year were okay with the fact that BO3 had no exos. There’s more hate directed at Exos than BO3’s movement.

          • Siftblade >ScOott is my King<

Exo suits are just cosmetic. You can slap exo suits on or off the BO3 characters and nothing would change except how the characters look. Point is, people didn’t want adcvanced movement of ANY kind. Sure people prefer BO3’s style, that doesn’t make it good though. It just means it’s the better of two shitty movement systems. IW worded this by “revealing” that there’s no exosuits to mislead people into thinking advanced movement isn’t in the game. It doesn’t change anything, advanced movement is still there. Exo suits or not.

          • DeadZombieGaming 12

Not even close. Exo is the fucking reason why you can punch people a mile away. Exo makes you faster and shit… Thruster is a jetpack… There is a difference. But i will get attacked by BOG guys

          • Siftblade >ScOott is my King<

You should teach a course on “How to miss the point entirely”

        • Keshav Bhat

Correction: “garbage that I do not want.”

Many, many people have happy with Black Os 3’s movement. There are also a bunch who enjoy Exos. Sadly, only the negative opinions get more attention.

          • GinsuVictim

I’ve enjoyed all the movement systems. My complaints about AW had more to do with the connection than anything.

          • So, by your logic we’re supposed to believe the majority of people want exo movement and wall running? It’s supposedly the minority is louder.

            MAKES TOTAL SENSE

Sorry, everywhere I’m seeing people wanting boots on the ground and WW2 or just something in the past. I don’t see a high demand for futuristic games and how they can gimmick up the next one.

          • J4MES

Sales are down each year by 10m compared to BO2 but Keshav is in full damage control mode all the time to protect the dwindling brand against any negativity even if the criticisms are justified. No wonder the franchise fails to improve these days.

          • [PCMR] Grimlock

Keshav needs to defend COD. If COD dies then so does this website.

          • Keshav Bhat

            Not true.

          • jordanxbrookes

Many, many people want boots on the ground. Don’t know what’s in your glass of water, but it certainly ain’t what people think.

        • DeadZombieGaming 12

I want advanced movement… Don’t talk for the community.

      • J4MES

Exactly! The advanced movement/exo suit/boost jumping/chain movement are just different terminologies dressed up the same.

      • [PCMR] Grimlock

It’s the same shit. Now imagine exo/advanced/chain based movements with Ghosts’ TTK. COD fanboys will eat that crap and pass it off as “innovation.”

  • Bobby Kotick

I hope that you’re all looking to the amazing innovations of Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare!

  • Aidan

People need to keep an open mind. No reason to hate on a game we know little about.

    • fr4gbob

lmao, asking people on here to have an open mind is like asking a dog to be a cat.

  • Sentinel

Would you believe me if I tell you than I have no preference on any of the previous COD’s? I believe that each COD released have their pros and cons. Each game was unique from one another and that is what sets them apart. I only bash the game when I get gamer’s rage haha

    • fr4gbob

I just judge them on the one I had the most fun on, and that happens to be Black Ops 2, followed by Black Ops 3 then Modern Warfare, those are my top 3 in that order…. I also liked WAW, MW2 & BLOPSI, couldn’t stand MW3 or Ghosts, never played AW so no preference on that one.

      • lunator100hd .

Thats an opinion i can respect………..all the haters be like ”IW is garbage , im gonna buy battlefield because the trailer was cool” c’mon dude.

        • fr4gbob

I think IW looks cool so far to be honest, not like we have had a lot to look yet lol, I will probably end up getting it, only thing that’s putting me off pre ordering is that its Infinity Ward…. the people behind MW3 and Ghosts, which I had no fun on.

But the things people are down on it for seem silly to me, space is just a theme, as long as the core gameplay is there, it really doesn’t make a difference to me what theme they use, as for the advanced movements, I really like them, I wouldn’t mind if they drop the boost jumps to about 75% of what they are in Black Ops III and scrapped wall running altogether, but I won’t be too bothered if its just the same.

    • GinsuVictim

      I enjoy them all.

      • Austin Michael Titus

I enjoy them all aswell, although aw and bo3 I’ve quit just months into the game. I guess I’m one of the weird ones that liked ghosts considering Its my second most days played and the only one I reached master on. Even then, I got my enjoyment for what I paid, I wish I hadn’t gotten the season pass for them however.

        • GinsuVictim

Ghosts is my favorite and most played.

  • uMugZ

Cannot believe how many people are defending Infinity Ward after Ghosts! People think just because a load of staff members have joined from Tony Hawk and Guitar Hero as those franchises are dead and Activision aren’t willing to pay them off; the studio is suddenly saved and the new CoD is going to be amazing. It’ll be the same story for the fourth year running whereby everyone gets over-hyped and when the game is finally released, everyone then hates it and then they turn to the next game rinse and repeat. I bet everyone will then be praising Sledgehammer despite hating Advanced Warfare LMAO!

    • Aidan

There’s no point in arguing with you people.

      • uMugZ

Because you know we’re (the vast majority) are right.

    • DeadZombieGaming 12

People have opinions… I think the reason why Ghosts was hated was ”fast TTK”… Even though it was amazing hit detection.

  • Mike_Scarn597

I am just dumbfounded by the fact that people seriously try to defend Infinity Ward and the direction they’re taking CoD. I appreciate that they gave us the MW series, but they suck now. They fail epically, along with the other 2 developers, in giving us something with replay value. Hopefully, when you read this, you understand what I mean by replay value. CoD fails whereas BF does not. For a very long, there was always something new to do. Fly jets and helis, drive tanks and BTRs, and so much more. There were so many different things to do and different people to fight. Not that it’s going to hurt them, but Infinity Ward will not be getting any money from until the release MWR as a separate item. Until then, I’ll be chillin with Battlefield

Your constant claim that CoD has no replay value is laughable. Look how many people still play the older games.

      • Mike_Scarn597

I wasn’t implying the older ones. This entire time I have been referring to the last 3 CoDs (BO3, AW, Ghosts). The vast majority of CoD players don’t get any satisfaction in them. The games fail to help us “escape reality” so to speak because they like satisfying the players. It’s so easy to spawn and get a few kills in this game, whereas back in CoD4 it wasn’t. This meme literally sums up what I am trying to say. Ever since Ghosts, CoD has just been dumb.

I have seen this picture used so many times to put BLOPSIII down, yet not once in all my time actually playing the game have I actually seen it.

          • GinsuVictim

            It’s from Advanced Warfare.

          • fr4gbob

well, that explains why I have never seen it then lol, so its out of date and pretty much irrelevant now then, good to know, will laugh it off as something to ignore from now on 🙂

IW has really only made one bad game, and I find it stupid that you’re judging it based of of 2 minuet campaign game-play. The reason why ghosts was such a flop is because Mark Rubin was in charge. Now the people in charge are the same 2 people who wrote and created the Uncharted series and The Last Of Us, one of the greatest games of this generation. You can’t say something is bad if you don’t even know anything about it, that’s just stupid.

You gotta admit… Infinity Ward nails the hit detection and some of their mechanics are much better… And they actually make more serious games than 3ARC and SHG

I feel like SHG is actually going to listen and make a WW2 game, but people are going to hate on it because SHG is developing it. It could be the best CoD game to date and people would still poop all over it based on a 3 minuet teaser trailer.

    • DeadZombieGaming 12

It could still be absolutely fucking shit… But i rather take Infinite Warfare over ANOTHER WW2 game that i totally haven’t seen before smh

  • xSilent-Commando

I’ve got a feeling that there will be 1 Level of Infinite Warfare (1 of the first 5 missions) and MW: Remastered’s ‘All Ghillied Up’ mission!!!

    • ”All Ghillied Up” would be perfect. I really hope they show at least a screenshot of that mission.

Reveal a new trailer for IW Multiplayer and it would easily tend to become an amazing game.
