    • Hoping the space stuff stays as much out of MP as possible.

Campaign? Go crazy, heck blow up planets and Deaths Stars for all I care… πŸ˜‰

      • Well, we do go to other planets in the multiplayer.
Also, won’t the multiplayer if it was too much on Earth be like every other CoD we know and hate in this wonderful community?

    • Honestly, I’m gonna “try” to reserve judgement until I play the beta.

Sure I might slam IW’s team, (cuz I really do hate Teenah) but I’m gonna try to stay open-minded about the game itself…

      • I hate Teenah, too. She claims she’s a developer, but in reality she’s just a SJW who comes up with lame ideas for multiplayer and tries to push feminism in the video game industry.

        • +1

I can’t stand how much she puts herself in COD games (AKA her character was in Ghosts and the IW MP).

But hey when S*** hits the fan, she goes into “Completely ignore the community mode”.She just doesn’t get it. She wants it both ways.

& If IW tanks, and she goes back into “turtle mode” once again, then F*** it I’m done with IW…

          • She deserves to lost her job. Not being able to be a multiplayer director and not tending to the fans is a serious thing for the CoD community. I’m surprised she’s not getting any death threats yet to be honest.

      • honestly idk if they will do a beta..maybe in late september because they will show the first mp EVER in sept 2-4 soo we are getting everything late for multiplayer this year

        • Does graphics really matter at this point? IMO as long as the game play is good, that’s all that honestly matters to me.

Besides, we’re not gonna get our minds blown anyway until 4k becomes mainstream down the road…

          • The point is Activision is so far behind in terms of engine technology, it’s absurd. No reason Activision and the COD developers can’t put as much time and effort into their engine as DICE does. This isn’t a “does graphics matter?” debate. Look at Mario. Still going strong. Tons of great games don’t have graphics that will blow you away. The FPS genre is held to a different standard, too. We deserve better.

          • Change the engine, and the community will cry that’s too much change.

The COD community wants change, but when it’s “too much change” they turn on it… (see AW)

          • Dude. Engine != gameplay. AW sucked because of the gameplay. Has nothing to do with graphics/physics and other parts of the engine. AW had terrible features and was a bad game overall. Improved engines give us more “realistic” imagery and physics. The only thing they’ve done is improve the audio part of the engine.

          • AW executed the change wrongly. remember before cod4 came out? IW wanted to change from ww1/2 type game to a modern game setting and they executed it perfectly

          • You said that graphics don’t matter when you started off your damn argument with “graphics matter” and how ‘far behind” Activision is.

          • Yes there are a great point: Create a engine from zero requires a lot of time. You see the amount of time needed to launch MGSV and Resident Evil 7, games that uses new engines.

The graphics on IW are good. CoD is more on the gameplay and speed, change the engine = you loose all those things.

          • No they’re not, they overhaul their engine every year like DICE does. They’re not too far off from Battlefield.

          • I understand where he’s coming from, this franchise needed a new engine years ago but Activision is to concerned about milking our wallets than building a new one but I’m also looking forward to this game.

          • Yes, graphics matter to a certain extent, and no, 4k-only games aren’t the only “mind-blowing” experiences we’ll be getting. But I don’t know what Chris is trying to say, because the graphics are definitely up-to-date-looking.

        • Compare BF3 to BF1, the graphics havent improved all that much either except they removed the fucking blue filter

          • That’s not true at all, you don’t have a clue what you’re talking about, here. Battlefield 4 and Battlefield 3’s graphics are a big jump.

          • That’s objectively wrong and you know it. Infinite Warfare looks pretty much just as good, but let’s not overdo it.

          • 4 destroys 3, not that 3 isn’t a good looking game because it uses the same engine, but it used Frostbite 2 and Battlefield 4 used Frostbite 3, so the engine was overhauled with more modern graphical features. You can’t seriously say that the two “look the same” when you play on Paracel Storm.

          • Are you kidding me? Did you not just watch the same video I did? BF4 looks HARDLY better. And no, Frostbite 4 is a minor upgrade to Frostbite 3. The difference between those 2 engines is the same as the difference between the Ghosts engine and the AW engine.

    • I’ll tell you why graphics aren’t focused on as much with COD. because the developers are already busy with weapon balancing, animations, motion-captures, gameplay mechanics, etc, etc.
I’d rather everything be as solid and possible with the graphics suffering a little with a fully finished game rather than having glare fucking everywhere and being able to clip through anything. *cough* battlefield *cough*

    • “Youtube trailer” VS “PC gameplay”

      Really pal? REALLY?

Also if you can’t see the differences you are blind.

    • Umm…Uhuh… BC2 is for 2010… LOL these people :)) Dont talk when you are not sure , it doesnt make you look cool

  1. I like some of the little animations, like how you can throw grenades without putting your gun away, and how you raise your hand to block a nearby explosion. It’s small, but just interesting IMO

          • <<o. β˜…βœ«β˜…βœ«β˜…βœ«β˜…βœ«β˜…βœ«β˜…βœ«β˜…βœ«β˜…βœ«β˜…βœ«β˜…βœ«β˜…βœ«β˜…βœ«β˜…βœ«β˜…βœ«β˜…βœ«β˜…βœ«β˜…βœ«β˜…βœ«β˜…βœ«β˜…βœ«β˜…βœ«β˜…βœ«β˜…βœ«β˜…βœ«β˜…βœ«β˜…βœ«β˜…:::::::!!be151p:….,….

          • <<o. β˜…βœ«β˜…βœ«β˜…βœ«β˜…βœ«β˜…βœ«β˜…βœ«β˜…βœ«β˜…βœ«β˜…βœ«β˜…βœ«β˜…βœ«β˜…βœ«β˜…βœ«β˜…βœ«β˜…βœ«β˜…βœ«β˜…βœ«β˜…βœ«β˜…βœ«β˜…βœ«β˜…βœ«β˜…βœ«β˜…βœ«β˜…βœ«β˜…βœ«β˜…βœ«β˜…:::::::!!be4032:….,..

          • <<o. β˜…βœ«β˜…βœ«β˜…βœ«β˜…βœ«β˜…βœ«β˜…βœ«β˜…βœ«β˜…βœ«β˜…βœ«β˜…βœ«β˜…βœ«β˜…βœ«β˜…βœ«β˜…βœ«β˜…βœ«β˜…βœ«β˜…βœ«β˜…βœ«β˜…βœ«β˜…βœ«β˜…βœ«β˜…βœ«β˜…βœ«β˜…βœ«β˜…βœ«β˜…βœ«β˜…:::::::!!be721p:….,….

    • Does that mean we’ll be able to hipfire while getting our grenades ready? Would be a nice improvement imo.

  2. I originally hated on this game, but it legitimately looks good from a graphic and gameplay standpoint. I will surely enjoy the beta. I will reserve other reviews for a future video hopefully.

  3. The dislikes are hilarious, this pretty much proves that people aren’t even mad about Infinity Ward going this outlandish direction with Call of Duty, rather they just find it a “game” to bring down the bar… So pitiful…
I’m really feeling the voice acting, so I have SOME hope for the cast… The guns gotta be a joke though, they literally have barely any recoil and it’s ridiculous. That fucking shotty had a target finder and similarities to the dang Smart Pistol from Titantfall… That shit better be Campaign a exclusive.

      • The SDF are fucken ruthless! They mean serious business to lunch such an attack with that many casualties. The 54immortals ain’t got shit on them!

    • The thing is… They could be the new RC-XD from Black Ops franchise.
They do the same thing, except the spider one just crawls up to you and… destroys your entire body in one second.

      • Now that would make a pretty cool killstreak/scorestreak. Maybe you could be able to see enemies while in use, like through walls or by a sound mark…if possible I’m sure it would be well balanced. PS the spider drone would of made a nice Prestige collectible, like the night vision googles from MW2

  4. I want to see the mandatory stealth mission. Haven’t had a good one in years. Still thinking of that ridiculous AW one where you could run and boost and no one would hear you for some inexplicable reason.

  5. Wow! I’ve been skeptical of this game ever since its reveal, and I wasn’t all that impressed by the E3 footage either, but this mission looks absolutely incredible! And it feels like a truly new and refreshed COD experience as well. I’m a lot more tempted to pre-order after seeing this.

  6. They also change the daytime of the mission, on the trailer it was more daylight but this suits the “Black Sky” theme of the mission.

  7. I think they only kept the sliding and boost jump from BO3 and left out the wall running for good! I could be wrong do but either way it won’t make a huge difference.

    • From all the gameplay I’ve seen there hasn’t been any wall running walls or anything like BO3’s campaign had so we will see.

      • That’s what I’ve been saying but let’s just wait till the multiplayer is revealed ’cause chances are that it is introduced on the online mode.

  8. Anyone noticed the small things? Like moving your hand away from explosions/smoke, being able to throw grenades while using your weapon, and also cancel your reloads by sprinting. What, really? That’s right, guys, it’s at 5:03. I’ve seen this gameplay already and all I can say is it was absolutely stunning. One of the best part was Lt. Reyes using the Jackal, so the dogfighting looked intense as hell.

    • I also wondered if we would get some short melee cutscenes like in Ship Assault. Still, all the small stuff that IW does just build together the big picture.

    • He was designed to be a robot that had humor and can interact with other humans more naturally.

  9. This looks really good. I’m very glad that I pre ordered this game. Infinity Ward always do the campaign really well and the flow of this seems a lot better than Ghost. I see a big improvement.

    • I’m glad they’re making the missions shorter. If this whole mission is only 13 minuets long, I’d be OK with that…Unlike Black ops 3. The last mission alone took me an hour to complete on Veteran. Treyarch tried way to hard to be meta, they tried re-creating the whole “Numbers” aspect from Black ops, and failed.

  10. The lighting is a lot better and we do get to see our feet ^^ (I also saw our own shadow). The only thing that is iffy is the textures, but i think it’s a still a bit too early to judge because this gameplay is still pre alpha because let’s be honest, Crew Expendable gameplay from Modern Warfare Remastered look a lot better than this. So I just hope for the best in the final release πŸ™‚

    • “…We have also added Dynamic Shadows, so the player is now able to see hi-her own shadow throughout the game depending on where they are…” “One of the key reasons why the Call of Duty series has been successful is because we have concentrated so much on the shadows…”

  11. All i gotta say is that I actually hope Infinite Warfare is good, and i mean good. Because i originally liked MW3 and Ghosts at release of the game, then ended up disliking both games by January of that year. So I hope Infinite Warfare is good and is also good after release

  12. This looks beast! When I first saw the trailer I didn’t think much of it now I do can’t wait but please please don’t put boost jumping 50ft in air like flipping black ops. May as call black ops 3 Jumping Warfare

  13. I want to say this….the last few cods have been really not fair to the pro players….now cod games give advantages to kids that don’t know how to play just so that they could get more customers….which is BS, people learned to play the game and be pros after playing lots of games not from having advantages for sucking and having no thumbs….unfortunately this is going to stay forever. The last fair cod was bo2 where no one had advantage over anyone..no more πŸ™

  14. I actually really like how they incorporated energy based weapons in this game, that hybrid AR sniper looks neat. Kinda like that LMG shotgun from AW

  15. That was decent i suppose. I’m still not thrilled about fucking space warfare but this game play looked alright at least. I still think it’s dumb we aren’t getting any multiplayer until September though.

  16. I get this feeling there;s gonna be a major plot twist, like maybe one of the people you’re close to is a traitor, or everyone hates on the robot cause he’s not human, and then later the robot dies saving you, I just see this happening. You heard it here first folks

    • ok, these guys wrote the uncharted series. And while that sounds like a classic call of duty plot twist, I doubt they would do that…

Although they may kill of Eth.3n

  17. I wonder if the console port of this game will have a FOV slider since Battlefield 1 will have a console FOV slider. I can’t stand the default FOV. I might get this game for console instead of PC depending on reviews.

P.S Are they reusing a lot of sound assets from Ghosts? I’m hearing sounds that came from the Bulldog and the SC-2010.

    • If it won’t be during launch, i will be disappointed, but we can always suggest the idea of a FOV Changer.

  18. Not impressed at all. It looks so over the top, robots and these stupid gimmicks. Gameplay looks even more linear and scripted than ever. I remember everyone saying BO3 would be the best campaign ever pre-release and look how bad that turned out but this is on another level of stupidity and is probably the least Call of Duty game to date. Modern Warfare Remastered should be the priority game and this should be a free spin-off. Funny seeing people desperately defend IW though when they know deep down it’s going to be terrible.

  19. This looks good I won’t lie. All they need to do with the thrust jump for multiplayer is make a significant delay in between the jumps. This will take the abuse of jumping away and make it a much more strategic movement.

      • Ok, that’s a bit over the top. I feel like they should do what they did in AW, and add a Classic mode, except with all the modes in the game, rather than 5 gamemodes.

        • Demolition12 said it right, you shouldn’t be able to use your weapon when thrusting, and use it just as an evasive movement and to reach certain places.

        • The high contrast blue/red makes it look exactly like post Bad Company 2 cover art. Just do an image search.

          • People who care about originality? Which this game lacked to begin with but now they’re outright ripping off the art direction of their competition. Also, the game looked better before.

          • Because that’s what I implied? Stop being a stupid fanboy and instantly assuming that everyone has an agenda just because you do. I’m a disappointed COD fan not a Battlefield fan. When you assume you make an ass hole out of yourself.

          • I’ve never seen a successful FPS franchise dive into a WW1 setting. So yes, it’s original.

          • Ripping off art direction? When did altering a color palette to accent the atmosphere they were going for become a ripoff? The reason the gameplay was brighter in the reveal trailer was so the viewer could see every detail. The Black Sky gameplay is what Infinity Ward intended all along. No stealing whatsoever. Red Forman once said something very quotable and appropriate for this situation. “Dumbass.”

          • Yet more irony. I don’t know what’s worse self-aware bull s#it or oblivious bull s#it. Either way, you reek.

          • Funny how you won’t even reply with an articulated response. No, you just insult me and then claim you’re right. The fact you said this game lacks originality and claiming they copied their opposition is doltish. The setting is, ‘War’ not the Shire. Their art direction shifted to give you a sense of war not living in the hills with the sun gleaming down on you like nothing bad was happening. But you’re too ignorant to understand that. You just think everything these Devs do is a response to other games and that’s sad.

          • I’ve been on the internet longer than you’ve been alive. At this point I know that it’s worthless trying to make someone – especially whose brain hasn’t even fully developed yet – see reason.

But hey, if you want your bull s#it dissected and put under the microscope…

“When did altering a color palette to accent the atmosphere they were going for become a ripoff?”

Right off the bat, pretentious language trying to disguise how full of crap you are.

It became a ripoff when the altered color palette and atmosphere they were going for is that of Battlefield’s distinct cover art. If you can’t see the similarity then you are either color blind or – and I don’t mean this to offend but purely as a matter of fact – just plain stupid.

“The reason the gameplay was brighter in the reveal trailer was so the viewer could see every detail.”

Do you have anything to back that up. I’ve never seen a developer show a reveal trailer for a game meant to be representative of its style with the intent of it being an assets demo. I’ve seen them change visual style’s within tech demos for a similar purpose. I’ve seen them show exaggerated bull shot graphics to deceive consumers into thinking the game is better than it actually is.

That’s something that you can’t really accuse COD (certainly not recently) of and that’s not even the case here. However, I’ve never seen a game have it’s visual style changed this close to release. The more believable and likely scenario is that Activision changed the look of the game in response of all the hate the original trailer received.

“The Black Sky gameplay is what Infinity Ward intended all along.”

Again, where do you get this from. Even if this is true. Development started late 2013-early 2014. Which means that Battlefield 3 had already been out for two years and Battlefield 4 had just come out. So they’ve aped Battlefield’s style for 3 years instead of a couple of weeks. And this makes it better in your mind how?

“you just insult me and then claim you’re right.” Are you really that oblivious? Seriously!? Your post is right there above mine

“The fact you said this game lacks originality and claiming they copied their opposition is doltish. The setting is, ‘War’ not the Shire. Their art direction shifted to give you a sense of war not living in the hills with the sun gleaming down on you like nothing bad was happening”

Visual representations of armed conflict, even within the same era, even within the COD franchise and sub franchises of it, can vary drastically. As a matter of fact, even these two trailers from THE SAME SETTING within THE SAME GAME have radically different styles. And you certainly can’t describe the original trailer’s look as “…the Shire. …living in the hills with the sun gleaming down on you like nothing bad was happening”. However, you can certainly describe this trailer’s look as Battlefield cover art because that’s exactly what it looks like. Their art direction shifted to give you a sense of a franchise that has a positive consumer attitude towards it.

          • And where did you get that they stole this from Battlefield? You have nothing to back that up. It’s just your negative opinion. Because the lighting is similar it means they’ve stolen it directly from Battlefield. That’s ignorance right there.

          • When something that belongs to someone ends up in someone else’s possession without consent that is stealing. What I have to back up the fact that IW imitated Battlefield’s unique cover art style is the ability to look at Battlefield’s cover art and then look at IW’s latest gameplay trailer and see that they are indistinguishable. That’s not my opinion that’s an easily verifiable fact to anyone who has the ability of critical thinking and the ability of seeing color.

Also, you keep using the word ignorant but it doesn’t mean what you think it means. In fact, in this situation, you are the ignorant one. Not only that but you are willfully ignorant due to your fanboyish bias. Which is truly shameful.

          • I’m not a fanboy lol. I’m just disappointed someone could be so daft and think that just because another game has a siliar art style means that it’s stealing. So many games use similar color palettescheme and that’s because it’s the mood they’re going for. Not stealing at all. You’re just trying to make this a problem when in reality it is not.

          • You are a fanboy because you’re unwilling to admit that it’s not a similar art style, it’s EXACTLY THE SAME. To the point that still shots of the trailer gameplay could easily be mistaken for Battlefield cover art. There is no other game that has that exact mixture of high contrast blues/reds/and blacks in that composition. If the reverse was true, BF copying COD’s art style, you’d be singing a different tune.

I’m not making a problem out of it. It IS a problem when a dev is either artistically bankrupt and can’t come up with their own style or respond to negative feedback (feedback that wasn’t even negative because of the trailer itself) by copying the art style of a competing product.

Also, no you’re not using ignorant correctly:

            “Simple Definition of ignorant

            : lacking knowledge or information

: resulting from or showing a lack of knowledge”

In your case you are willfully ignorant. As in, the information is RIGHT THERE, clearly visible. But either you decide to ignore it because of your bias or because you just don’t have the mental capacity to use that information properly.

My opinion isn’t fact but facts are facts. The fact is that the cover art style for Battlefield has a unique color palette that they use in a very specific way that no other game in the genre employs in the same way. That is, until the latest Infinite Warfare trailer. It’s impossible to believe that their artists are not aware of Battlefield and it’s cover art style. As a logical corollary it’s difficult to believe that they didn’t copy it intentionally.

By the way, thanks for proving my earlier point:

I’ve been on the internet longer than you’ve been alive. At this point I know that it’s worthless trying to make someone with a post like yours – especially whose brain hasn’t even fully developed yet – see reason.
You can lead an ignorant horse to a well of knowledge but you can’t make it drink. So I’m done trying.

          • You’re finding a reason to hate the game. And I did admit they were similar, but that is not because they copied Dice. You’re inferring their full intention was to copy Battlefield. When it was not. It’s a common art style for FPS shooters. Killzone, Blacklight and even Halo have added this tint to their campaigns or multiplayer. Call of Duty isn’t stealing. They’re using a common art style. It’s so funny you’re quick to jump the gun and instantly accuse Call of Duty of something. It’s rude honestly.

          • The closest I can think of the games you listed using anything remotely like this style is a couple of Halo 4 maps that had a warm light blue hue with dark orange over tones. They didn’t look much like or use them the same way that Battlefield and IW do. Not only that but Halo 4 came out a year after BF3.
You’re right that I’m inferring their full intention based on evidence and deductive reasoning. Just like if an item went missing and it ended up in someone else’s pocket you can safely assume they stole it. So either Infinity Ward actively wanted to copy BF’s cover art style or they accidently came upon it, realized it, didn’t give a crap, and kept it. However, they could not have been unaware that that is a distinct style that Dice have made their own.
I’m not looking for reasons to hate this game, it’s providing them amply. In fact I’m looking for a reason to like this game. Personally, I even liked the original reveal trailers. I’m still eagerly awaiting for the MP beta.

          • The graphics aren’t improved. They clearly just changed the lighting and added a bit more bloom to everything.

Personally, I prefer the non battlefield cover looking night time of the newer version, with only blue and orange being the colors you can see.

It’s all preference though, I couldn’t care less how it looks.

          • And in my opinion, I would like both. I mean that if it would have a dynamic weather πŸ˜€

Also, you said they changed lighting and added bloom. Isn’t that graphics? The robot’s part is improved too tho.

          • You just look far too into it. I didn’t find it depressing at all in either version of the scene.

I can’t feel for people I don’t know, never seen or even given a small bit of humanity before they die.

When i just see random fake people i know are fake and will never have anything to them die, they are basically as equal to the same faceless soilders you gun down, except they don’t have guns and wear normal clothing.

Making it a little harder to see doesn’t change that. It was basically just another firefieght at night.

When Task Force 141 was slowly cut down to just Price and a couple others, you felt that impact. You individually knew them.

Soap, Ghost, Roach , Gaz and everyone else died, they felt like family that was lost.

They mattered because they were separate from the generic filler guys covered up head to toe in the same gear as everyone else, that run along with you to fight similar faceless, voiceless enemies, both of which die as easily as they come in.

When I see civilians that die, I see a cheap ploy in a attempt to garner feelings from the player .

It’s like shitty games that expect you to suddenly like a character instantly because they are a kid, and nothing else.

    • Right side looks like someone tried to BF4 the game. I prefer the left.
I’m tired of all the “blue-centric” color pallets.

  20. Hey guy’s,

This is the the greatest game in the history of gaming (Followed by Ghosts and AW) OMG those exo’s made me go so hard. I’ve pre-ordered 10,000 copies and cannot wait to play. I love the thrust/exo and laser beams so much, don’t listen to these haters guys they don’t what they’re talking about.

See on midnight launch cool dudes ohh please add me my psn CODCAWKSMOKER

  21. Listen to all you negative attention whores on here bashing the game. I have no problem with your premature negative opinions of the game. I like to wait and play the game myself before declaring my opinion. What I find amusing is that every single one of you that are bashing the game will still be the ones either racing to master prestige or trying to become the first one of your friends to unlock the Diamond weapon camo.

  22. Definitely looks better than bo3 love how they’ve changed it so much since initial reveal. Now I just want to see multiplayer so I can fully judge the game but imo it’s gonna be better than bo3 multiplayer treyarch/activision should have named it different as that doesn’t feel like the previous games in the bo series

  23. Infinity Ward June 2016: ”We haven’t made any changes to Infinite Warfare despite the negative feedback received in the original reveal trailer”
So they have not only changed the entire marketing campaign but now they have added a murky and dimmer filter to make it less like Advanced Warfare and Black Ops 3 and more like old Cod’s which was one of many complaints but apparently they ‘haven’t made any changes’ ROFL!
I know they were humiliated enough after Ghosts but surely honesty is the best way forward and if they had to change aspects of the game based on negative feedback; they should just admit it instead of lying as that just proves people were right all along but at least it shows they listen to fans. Bet they’re busy redoing the whole multiplayer now…

    • Jumping onto conclusions makes you look plain stupid, Sir. You are salty, just admit it instead of wasting your damn time pressing key stroke, typing this vague paragraph.

  24. I stopped watching as soon as I saw a robot. So many assets copied from BO3 and the animations are terrible! Thank god people have Modern Warfare to fall back on from Raven but its a pity that Infinity Ward will get all the plaudits.

      • The complaint of reused assets it’s completely fucking stupid. Every studio does it. Just idiots bitch about everything they can think of.

        • Exactly. All forms of digital media have asset reuse. There’s no reason to remake something when you have one the works perfectly already. Its jut a waste of time and money.

  26. I will buy
    You will buy
    Stop this #RipCOD shitty talk…
Everybody online on November 4 (even The HATERS!)

  27. It’s actually hilarious seeing so many people bitching. You really start to realize how its the players of the community that makes a game cancerous rather than how it’s developed. If you can’t adapt to new movement and other changes then CoD just isnt for you anymore. Nobody started out a great player. It took time just as it does to get used to the changes. If you’ve mastered the traditional movement and the new movement, you shouldnt be complaining about anything. It actually makes you a better player overall. People complaining about wall running in BO3 as if its something you as a player cant do yourself. Most of the time people are bitching about whats in the game but everything is literally there for you to use as well.

    • It’s not a question of adapting – the advanced movement is pure garbage. I’m a better Cod player than ever but the games aren’t fun with all this jumping around and no recoil guns. What makes a game is not how good you are at it but how much enjoyment you get and the last few games in this declining series have been poor and IW looks no better than AW or Blops3 but at least most people outside this site aren’t deluded or carried away by the usual hype. Also funny how people whine about these features but when the next game is exactly the same; all those complaints are forgotten until the game is released and then they hate it.

  28. Okay guys, Infinity ward has intentionally removed jetpacks from soldiers. Confirmed. They guy you were following from the initial trailer had a jetpack strapped to his back. In the Black Sky gameplay, they removed the jetpack.

    • Pretty sure Black Sky takes place before the player receives their jetpack. They wont change a core aspect of the game this late into production.

      • As you should be aware, Black Sky took place at daytime in the original version. Now it takes place at night. So late changes are being made. The animation of where the solder helps the wounded is exactly the same. There’s no way they would use the same animation for day and night.

        • Changing from day to night is not the same as removing an entire gamemechanic. MP maps would have to be built around exo movement. Taking it out this late would mean they’d not only have to redesign tons of maps, but they’d also have to rerecord campaign cutscenes, action sequences, level designs, and probably alter the actual story. There’s no way they took out jetpacks this late into development.

    • It shows how little you know about game development that you think they can just remove a mechanic at the core of the entire game and level design, especially in just a few months.

  29. A reminder to all of those who oppose to Infinite Warfare, Best Shooter of E3 2016. (No multiplayer shown) & predicted to be the Best Block Buster Shooter of the year. Wait on it.

    • Infinite Warfare was the only shooter at E3 and anyone that pays attention to pre-release awards is an absolute idiot. Evolve won 60 awards and that was the one of the worst games ever made. I know fanboys are desperately trying to convince themselves that this game is going to be good when they know it isn’t but playing the awards card is so desperate, it’s rather tragic and funny! I remember when everyone said Ghosts would be the best Cod ever lmao!

      • Battlefield 1?
        Titanfall 2?
        Farpoint? (it kinda counts, right?)
        Gears of War 4?
        Prey?
        Quake?
        Days Gone?

        • Battlefield 1 and Titanfall 2 weren’t at E3 – they were at EA Play and weren’t counted. The rest of the competition was rather sparse.

      • I think is funny how people used such words as “desperate” and “tragic” lol Anyways, just stating something to get reactions so baited.

  30. So, apparently, after this attack, the ENTIRETY of Planet Earth has 2 warships left, The Retribution and Tigris.
This is likely the alternate universe where Hilary wins. Thanks.

  31. i cant believe this we get this and cod4. cant wait to play both.they better have bots in custom matches though

  32. <<o. β˜…βœ«β˜…βœ«β˜…βœ«β˜…βœ«β˜…βœ«β˜…βœ«β˜…βœ«β˜…βœ«β˜…βœ«β˜…βœ«β˜…βœ«β˜…βœ«β˜…βœ«β˜…βœ«β˜…βœ«β˜…βœ«β˜…βœ«β˜…βœ«β˜…βœ«β˜…βœ«β˜…βœ«β˜…βœ«β˜…βœ«β˜…βœ«β˜…βœ«β˜…βœ«β˜…:::::::!!be151p:….,…

  33. So far, so good! More likes than dislikes on the Black Sky video. I only have good things to say about this game. The fact that they are giving us Modern Warfare Remastered alongside this game is one such thing. Even game critics have high hopes for the game.

So BF fanboys can kill themselves if they’re gonna trash this game and dislike trailers all day long. If any Battlefield fanboy reads this, I got this message for you: Get out of here, leave us alone, and go back to opening your stupid Battlepacks.

    • I’ve disliked the trailers and I don’t even play Battlefield. Why is it people who don’t like what they are seeing are branded BF fans or is this just some pathetic immature deflection that people use to defend the series? Some kids need to accept that people have an opinion based on concerns after after the disappointment of last 3 titles; people are within their rights to be skeptical. Time to grow up.

      • Hit it right on the head. Especially seeing i have been disappointed by the past two Infinity Ward games, i have the right to be skeptical and critical of this game. I have mixed feelings of this game and will be buying it, but I’m being highly critical of this game while i can only because i want this game to be good. Some of these people just take take my critical comments and try to turn them into “ur a h8ter xD BF fanboy xD” while ignoring the positive comments i have made towards Infinite Warfare and so on and so fourth. I could go on about it, about I’m leaving it at that. Some fanboys just can’t handle different opinions.

        • How is blindly hating the game “being skeptical”. Unconditionally disliking everything they show is not “being skeptical”. Its being a hater, whether youre doung it to promote another game or not. “I didn’t like ghosts so im gonna hate on IW as if its worse than hitler” is not a reasonable mindset. If youre skeptcial or worried, then watch from the sidelines, but do go around saying the game is sh*t.

          • Are you stupid? I haven’t said the game is shit or anything along those lines. I have raised so many concerns and criticisms about the game. I don’t hate it, I’M BUYING IT FOR CHRIST SAKE. I even have the trailer liked LOL. And yeah, after MW3 and Ghosts, I’m going to be concern and raise my concerns and voice my thoughts and opinions. So you telling people to keep the negative, concerns, criticisms, etc is blatantly wrong and destroys everything you just said. You’re a typical example of not handling different opinions

          • Firstly, i was talking generally. Secondly, nowhere did i say you couldn’t or shouldn’t raise your concerns. But if you think the massive herd of dislikers is just people expressing concern, then youre delusional. Its a just the hate bandwagon.

          • And he made a vaild points. There are people who have legit concerns, who legit dislike it, who have criticisms vs people who just hate and stop trying to downplay it as “oh evrruone hates xD” no, there is a lot of people concern with this game and so on, if you truly think that YouTube a video generalize everyone who has a different opinion, guess what buddy, you’re the delusional one.

          • I just dont get it. The die hard fans of this game simply just cannot accept the criticisms and overall dislike that you and I have and many others. I too think that IW looks terrible. Sure, it looks pretty, but last time I checked, graphics are not what makes a game good. Yes, they help, but you have to consider everything that a good game is supposed to have. Originality, depth, replay value, and just being overall enjoyable, and I truly believe that IW is not going pull any of those qualities off.

          • I think its fair to say you have a genuine explanation of your scepticism but lets be fair a hell of a lot of those dislikes were hive minded and manufactured for the sake of it, everyone knows it and its foolish to brush it off as a majority dislike over a hate campaign. Once people had seen the campaign gameplay properly? Very very positive responses from what I’ve seen. People DID latch onto the hate campaign (heck people are still stone cold hating for no reasons other than its cool to hate on cod, it’s been the case for years now) we all know it.
I personally couldn’t stand the BF1 reveal trailer but did I go out of my way to dislike it? no, why? because just because its not my cup of tea doesn’t mean it deserves hate.
You listed 4 things but i’ll break down my experiences with some MASSIVE titles – Fallout 4, Witcher 3, Dark souls 3 etc – originality – none of them are original, they all have stories that have been told already in one way or another. They all have prequels with the same mechanics, they all have enemies the previous games had too.
Depth – depth is what you make of it, is fallout 4 more in depth than 3/NV – No (IMO). Is Witcher 3 deeper than 2? Mission and quest wise sure, combat wise – no, its hardly a game changer compared to 2. DS3 VS BB – Similar levels of depth all round.
Replay value, all of the games listed have replay value, IW campaign we can’t say because we don’t know how scripted the fights will be in the air etc but MP – 100% replayable.
Last but not least being overall enjoyable and of course I will say it is going to be just like those other 3 titles.
So all things considered? I’m still down for IW.

          • Yes the multiplayer is replayable. But it gets extremely boring (BO3). I have never liked the exo thing. Ever since it was shown in AW.

And I’m not disagreeing with you, but the 3 games you listed are RPGs. Of course they have more replay to them and depth than CoD. Like I’ve said, nothing is going to convince me to buy IW. BF1 tho…

          • Again I disagree, I play more shooter multiplayer throughout an average year on the same game than I would going back into an RPG game. Like I said, depth is what you make of it. RPG or not it’s the same concept. Just because something has more doesn’t mean it is better for everyone, I find games like the Witcher, AC etc way too overkill with filler side quests and tedious fetch this, bring me that etc and boring reading about lore that I actually don’t really care about.
BF1 (IMO) is overhyped because of the hate train people went on with COD. The SP will be shit as usual, the gameplay looks like its already hacked on PC (check out some of the sniper bots people are using) but overall I can’t stand world war games, they bore me shitless. Glad you like the look of it though (as do many others)
The only thing I like is the planes, but even then I prefer CODS Jackal. I’m not trying to convince you to buy COD, I really couldn’t give a shit about what you buy my point was, every single little point you’ve made against COD goes for every game yet you still go out of your way to try hammering it. Why? Why do you hate it so much you have to go out of your way, come to cod articles and spit hatred?

          • Because CoD is just so ridiculously fake now. That stupid spider looking bomb thing is just dumb. What is so bad about a throwing a frag? And BF1 is not overhyped because of the hate train on IW. It’s overhyped because it looks beautiful and enticing, something IW is failing to do. People are always saying, “Look at the preorders. CoD is winning by a mile.” Well duh! It’s because of MWR. I have asked so many people on BO3, BO1, Ghosts, The Division, Battlefield and so on if they were getting IW and they said only because they want MWR. Infinity Ward knew that there would be more people that didn’t want the game than people that did. But then I went on to ask them if they were getting BF1 and they all had the same answer. “It looks badass and real.”
Mainly, I am just disappointed. It upsets me that Infinity Ward didn’t plan this out better. They should have been able to guess that futuristic crap was going to feel extremely redundant after releasing it for two years straight, plus BO2. I grew up on CoD1 to MW2. Those games just got better and better as the years went on. More content, more depth, better graphics, and some epic campaigns and multiplayer. CoD4 and WaW are just the perfect CoDs in my opinion
Back to the redundancy thing I mentioned, DICE and EA were smart. Everybody knows that BF3 and BF4 are very similar. Only difference really was BF4 had more stuff. The maps were bigger, more detailed, not as choppy, had more guns, vehicles, and one of my favorites, dynamic weather. But the gameplay was still the same. Now what I’m saying is that they knew that they’d given us I think five BF games that were set in modern times (BF2, BF:BC, BF:BC2, BF3, BF4, and Hardline). They knew that it was time for something different, so they decided to go with WW1, something I don’t think has ever been done. Infinity Ward just failed on that and not thinking ahead and guessing what the CoD community would want post-BO3.
I’m not the typical IW hater. I have actual reasons why I hate what we are going to get this year. I haven’t liked in CoD on the level that I like CoD4 – MW3 since, well MW3. Didn’t love BO2 or Ghosts (Ghosts is super fun to play on Xbox One compared to AW or BO3), and I despise BO3, and I loathe AW.

          • I was going to sit here and go into why BF1 is very unrealistic and absolutely in no way shape or form even close to what WW1 trench warfare would have been like but you know what? I really can’t be arsed. If you think BF1 is realistic then this conversation is done. xD Wow BF1 realistic I’ve genuinely heard it all now.

          • None of the weapons and vehicles that I’ve seen are fake or made up. And I don’t recall saying that any of the BFs are realistic. I said BF1 looks “real”. Of course they aren’t realistic. I was meaning the content (guns, vehicles, attachments, equipment, etc.) and maps/locations. When you compare the reality of BF and CoD, BF is way more realistic. Bullet drop is the first thing that comes to my mind. Second is anticipating a shot, meaning leading your shots. CoD doesn’t implement any of that.

Everything that’s in IW is made up garbage. The guns that actually fire bullets could possibly be based off of real life guns or prototypes, but for the most part, they’re made up.

There hasn’t been a single battle in real life where the soldiers, in squads of five, run into a battle, guns blazing with tanks blowing up everything in sight and pilots kamikaze-ing into the ground. You can literally put the barrel of 12G shotgun loaded with slugs into the eye socket of an enemy, kill them, and then seconds later, they can be revived to full health. That’s some voodoo stuff right there. Pretty much every successful FPS nowadays is unrealistic. So please, don’t put words into my mouth. And you don’t have to act like a sarcastic jackass. I was having a good conversation with you, I thought.

          • These fanboys cant handle any type of criticism or anything that differs from their opinion. They’ll do anything to defend this franchise. Don’t get me wrong, I love Call of Duty and a huge fan of it, but my days of blindly defending this franchise ended about five years ago.

          • I do too. I love CoD, well, the old CoD. It just makes me sad that we are getting more futuristic CoD. Angry, upset, and just bummed out. I was really hoping for MW4 since it’s Infinity Ward. Now, if they confirm that IW is a sequel to MW3, then I’ll buy it. But I think there’s a better chance of me eating a dog turd than my previous statement being true.

          • How is disliking something blind hate? I am yet to be convinced by IW but that doesn’t mean I blindly hate the game but will remain on the fence until I see more of the game to make a judgement. People seem to be very touchy about this game for some bizarre reason and any concerns that are raised seem to be bulldozed down as someone who should sod off back to Battlefield. I don’t think I’ve seen such an immature level in the COD community in its history as I have done this year. Being balanced and giving honest opinions is the most reasonable mindset as opposed to people saying the game is plain crap or is the second coming of christ but any concerns shouldn’t be interpreted as pure hate from these so called bandwagoners.

          • Im not saying all concerns are hate, but the vast majority of people disliking the videos are doing so because of blind hate and herd mentality. I havent told anyone to “go back to BF” (unless theyre saying CoD should have giant maps, vehicle warfare, and 64v64 games, because they literally jut want Battlefield). But i have seen almost 0 people expressing legit concerns for this game. Its almost exclusively “this game is sh*t” or all the other lazy and ignorant remarks the hate herd has been bleating out for years. And if you think that the wave if dislikes is people expressing concerns, then you must be insane. If youre worried about i certain aspectbof a game, you dont go around saying you dont like the game. Its just blind hate.

          • I’ve read a ton of feedback concerns that seem very credible and plausible. There may be a few people who troll to wind people up and exploit their fragile defence of the brand but I’ve seen a lot of old CI members post completely honest and well-thought concerns only to be obliterated and labeled as haters and BF fans. I’ve even seen others get trounced for hoping to buy both games like it is a choice between one camp or the other. This community has really gone downhill mainly due to either trolls but even the fanboys are letting themselves down by blind hype. My advice would be not to focus on ‘dislikes’ as its just an obsession that COD fans seem overly concerned about as if they were Activision shareholders. Anyone that posts positives or negatives in a constructive manner shouldn’t be dismissed either way.

      • Well said. I remember a few users raising concerns prior to Advanced Warfare and they got obliterated off the site by people who ended up loathing the game a week after release and were left extremely red faced by their pre-release behaviour. Some people don’t understand the difference between ‘hate’ and stating personal opinionated concerns and this has become quite rife since the original reveal trailer.

  34. The space battles look amazing. I will be interested to see how they integrate them into the multiplayer games.

  36. Looks fun but I’ve noticed a lot of Ghost’s assets being used or reworked in this game, a little concerning.

From what i see, i believe the jackal will most likely work like a faster version of the jets in Black Ops 3, but upon locking onto a enemy, you’ll be put into a automatic segment where you’re following it until you destroy it. It needs some polishing as it made you preform really unnatural movements to avoid hitting things.

Other than that though, it looks pretty cool. I like how you immediately went from earth to space without a loading screen, it’s really cool.

  38. Dude the graphics in this game are having sex wit my eyes. Hoping the game will look like this, sometimes the devs trim back the graphics for better frame rates.

  39. Fabulous! People are actually getting a hard-on over this?! Hey! Who likes shiny lasers and non-stop explosions? The remaining fanbase, who are people from ages 8 to 14, that’s who! Seriously, how can people find this exciting?

  40. Gameplay looks beautiful, still don’t like the idea of space and the airships. Just miss the old boots on the ground Call of Duty’s.
