      Too early to tell TBH since Activision’s servers have been hit from the outside. TTK will definitely be changing over time, and I can only hope that’s it’s not as melty as Ghosts… πŸ™

      It’s a beta, not a full game. IW will probably fix it. That’s why the launched beta so close to full launch. To make sure full launch won’t have current mistakes.

          Dude. That’s not how it works. Hit detection is a server-side problem. They can fix the servers whenever, completely independent of the games’ patch progress.

            Listen, I prefer boots on ground myself, but Ghosts was awful… (BO3 IMHO is waaaaaay better than Ghosts)

          The only people that enjoyed Ghosts the most were the LMG thermal campers with IEDs and Riley next to their camping campfire.

          The only thing that Ghosts fans have is hit detection.

            lol, my most used gun in Ghosts is the Vector. Which was reborn as the Karma-45 and is now my used gun in IW….

            Key words being “the most”. Sure there’s people that used other guns, but LMG thermal ruined so many large map lobbies.

            BTW Ghosts was my highest KD in the series, and I got a bunch of KEMs using mainly Honey Badger. AK12, and MTAR but the game rewarded campers too much with the stuff that I wrote in my post above plus a melty TTK…

    • I hate the snipers. Literally quickscoping needs to die, or work like in Black Ops 3 where it had no aim assist. But other than that this game seems like Blacks Ops 3.5 with elements of Advanced Warfare.

        Did they bring back aim assist for snipers? It’s been gone since Ghosts. And i encountered very little quickscoping. And the 3 second ads delay for snipers makes me feel like it wouldnt be too common.

        • Fuck people have been getting triple kills and quads on me and my teammates because the sniping is so broken in the beta. Not only is there aim assist (feels like homing bullets to be honest) but the hit detection sucks so it looks like they’re killing you by shooting you in the knee caps. Almost got an aneurysm playing this beta. Fucking frustrating beyond belief right now.

            Maybe people just hadnt started using snipers when i was playing but i encounter very few snipers, let alon siccessful ones.

        Actually, BO3 has snap to target as well. Which is the real problem, not aim assist (ie. slowdown/tracking assist). Personally, I find it way harder to snipe in IW because of the TTK. I think the way to go with sniping is to get rid of all assists but make ADS as fast as an assault rifle.

            With its horrible hit detection, horrendous character customization themes, specialist weapons easy for everyone to use, and lag? Yeah, I don’t know. It’s a good game, and it’s still enjoyable, but that was what killed the game. Oh, and maps. Trash. Supply drops as well.

            I don’t get the hate man, u move slower than bo3, the ttk isnt melty like ghosts.. No one is wall running all over the place, the only thing that is bad are the small maps being so small, If we had some bigger maps I reckon it would be pretty decent..

            That’s what I was hoping. But it’s not like that once you play the game. It’s generic and chaotic, you die instantly, quickscoping is back, the maps are boring and play bad, weapon varients are making a comeback (which isn’t a big deal yet but it won’t take long to reach AW status). There’s nothing unique or interesting about the game at all, it’s just rehashed mechanics and features in a more boring environment with worse design and flow

            The big problem is the hit detection, thats where IW games always shine but in this beta the hit detection reminds me the bo2 era, if this is the case for the game im not gonna buy IW.

            I’ve noticed it too. You can tell because the bullets go through enemies only to have them kill you in what feels like 2 shots. Sometimes it sucks as well as all of the chaos that’s in the game, but you can definitely play it to your advantage.

          That’s odd the game is very colorful for me. However, they have overdone it on the blues and blown out the whites. Two things that will strain your eyes very fast. Only throwback is fine.

    Am I the only one who doesn’t see a problem with hit detection lol.. Either way proves my point that ghosts clearly didn’t have good hit detection it was just the ttk was that quick u couldn’t notice it.. The maps we got are chaotic and small other than that I can’t understand the hate..

    • I can understand the hate in terms of map design. I wish these developers would do something else than a 3 lane small medium map design. It’s like all three developers are scared to do large maps or something different in terms of map design

        3 lane isn’t what makes them chaotic, the movement and building the map around the movement does. Look at BO2 for an example of a nonchaotic game where most maps were 3 lane

        • Not talking about if it’s chaotic or not. I just want different styles of maps and bigger maps. Every map is honestly similar. With that being said, I do think IW is very chaotic both because of the movement and the overpowered stuff in the game. I like overpowered stuff but if it’s gonna be chaotic because of them, i think maps need to be a bit bigger. I look at MW2 as the most chaotic Call of Duty game ever and I remember maps being medium and large in that game

        • Haven’t determined whether if the maps are complicated or not as I haven’t played the beta yet. Either way, I’d like to have larger maps. Have some variety in there

          • It would also helped out with how chaotic the game is too. Think back to MW2 with how chaotic that game is and most of the maps are medium-large. If you have a game like IW which is almost as chaotic as MW2 with three lane maps that are small-medium that just causes a cluster fuck of things going on the screen. I have seen gameplay of the beta, and it’s just too much on the screen

          The issue is the maps are too chaotic and feel small which makes them not fun to play on. Precinct is decent, but that map looks, feels and plays like Swarm from AW. It doesn’t feel new or fresh at all.

          Larger map isn’t the issue, the issue is the larger map and still the same damn 6v6 formula. Stonehaven could be a good map if you fill it up with the Ground War 9v9 setup.

            I know we all want different things, and for the most part, our criticisms of the game are purely subjective. For example, I loved Ghosts and the map design. Also, I feel UAVs are for people that suck and they need to go. But really, other than boost jumping and wallrunning having to go… i just adapt and overcome.

Everyone even before ghosts came out loved the feck out of IW “perfect net code” n the “IW hit detection is spot on” lol . Now it’s their turn, look at u all now! everyone screaming it’s shit lol..           They most likely are using netcode more similar to Treyarchs because, a. they want to distance themseves from Ghosts, and b. while ghosts’s netcode was wayyyyy better, people still complained about it alot. Many didnt like that it lowered ttk (since 70% of your shots werent just phasing through enemies) and alot of people crtisized it just because they hated ghosts and refused to admit that anything about ot was good even though there was alot done very well in ghosts.

          And the low TTK doesnt mask bad netcode, bad netcode masks low ttk. Do one shot at a time in BO3 and its 3-5 chest shots with an ar, but when youre actually running around and moving your position, it takes like 8-15 because so many shots just dont register. In ghosts, its like 3-5 chest shots with an ar, but its actually consistently that because of the better netcode.

  • Is the Accessory the paintshop in the game? I really hope it is.             1) Its the reason we no longer have factions in CoD, remember spetsnaz? Mercs? GIGN? Yeah they are all gone because of character customization

            2) Limited factions means we get less announcers, the last 3 cods only had 2 announcers

            3) Harder to differentiate enemies from teammates since they can have the exact same outfit on

            4) Brings more childish and immature shit to a realistic war game

            I thought it was OK in Ghosts, up until they started releasing the gimmicky shit like the weed camo w/ matching outfit. AW had some pretty good character customization up until the first round of micro DLC, hell even those weren’t that bad. Barong was pretty cool, so was steampunk. Then they released the second set, put em in supply drops and the rest of the year was basically a big “fuck you”. BO3 character customization was shit right off the bat, especially since you could only get in SD. I’m just hoping IW pulls their head out of their ass and actually has a serious CoD game…

            Probably a little too late for that…

            At least we have CoD 4. That’s gritty. That’s realistic.

    If MWR was able to be purchased separately, I strongly believe that this game would tank so hard. I have watched several gameplay videos and I cannot explain how disappointed I am. These people gave us MW and MW2 and now this? I’m flabbergasted. I really am.

    • This is not the REAL, original IW Team that gave us good games. The original team left after MW2 and since then, their games have been shit. This new, shitty team created MW3, Ghosts, and IW.

          Because I knew the game was going to be crap. Even after I played the game at EGX people still called me a hater. At the end of the day, I said the Multiplayer was going to be trash and it’s funny how all the defenders chose to ignore my concerns and are now calling the game trash.

            The news about weapon variants was my red flag. That ruined AW (along with SBMM) and I see the same mistake happening again.

            Sure BO3 wasn’t perfect with SDs, but outside of maybe the Marshals, there’s not a SD weapon that IMHO stock is either equal to or better. I give Vahn credit for trying to keep Activision and the community happy with SD weapons… (especially compared to AW)

      With that said, I’ve been saying a lot recently for everyone to hold onto their BO3 copies, because I have a feeling that the community will be playing BO3 and MWR a lot over the next year…
