Similar to the January Update post, Infinity Ward has posted another Community Update post detailing upcoming updates they are currently working on for Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare. Since the last Community Update post, Infinity Ward released both the Leaderboards and Combat Records.

This post talks about Custom Emblems, including that they will be going live by Mid-March. Infinity Ward says they had to delay the launch of this feature by a few weeks because it requires additional QA testing before going live. They will be providing more details about the feature as it gets closer to going live.

Other upcoming Infinite Warfare updates:

  • 360 Degree Combat Rig view coming by end of this month, allowing to fully see the new customization on your Rig.
  • New content being added to Quartermaster on Regular Basis. Infinity Ward says to checkout the Quartermaster often for what’s new.
  • New Mission Team coming soon to Infinite Warfare. Previously rumors have suggested the new Mission Team is called Blood Anvil, but that is not confirmed yet.
  • New Prestige Levels coming to the game.
  • New “feature” coming soon for scorestreaks. Not specific on what the feature is.
  • Infinity Ward will be having polls to allow community to vote each week’s featured playlist.

The rig customization screen has had a rotate option that doesn’t work, so I figured that was coming.

  • New “features” for scorestreaks. VARIANTS!!!

    • ccrows

      *sigh* Yuuuuup…

  • MultiplayerCop

Why not mention how the emblem editor is being delayed for sometime in march. Stop playing buddy buddy with this company and speak the facts. Stop the sugar coating Charlie Intel.

    • darren

I didn’t realize the name of the game was Call of Duty: Features.

      • Unclecoon

        :Features coming soon

  • Lee

    Let’s hope it’s today 😐

  • Why don’t they just allow us to craft supply drop items with salvage like in MWR?

    • Money

      • *cough* you can only get salvage through supply drops *cough*

  • beamer

Hopefully they’ll have all the bugs and such worked out so we can have a “complete” game by Mid November of this year.

The new salvage doesn’t work as well as bops. After you hit level 50 in all missions teams, it’s 20,500 for each next level and you are granted a HUGE +75 salvage….yay!

  • Sup

“New “features” coming soon for scorestreaks. Not specific on what the features are.”

They have already been data mined. It’s scorestreak variants.

    • Aidan

If they release scorestreak variants, I will literally sell my xbox.

      • Sup

        Get ready to sell it.

      • Pete Growsun

You won’t we all know that.

        • Aidan

I’m a man of my word

      • Corey Lease

Da_xavier the stream Variants are nothing big. A uav that stays up like 25 secs longer. Gun ship with energy weapons that stuff

      • jordanxbrookes

Nah, just sell the shitty game.

        • Aidan

Eh. I haven’t even touched my xbox in weeks.

        • Aidan

I was already planning on selling my xbox long before IW even came out. I haven’t touched it in a month, It’s sitting in a box in my garage.

  • Former

Lmao. Custom emblems were promised by the end of February with the last community post. No surprise IW fails to live up to their word…Not to mention they can’t even form an ETA for prestiges and the mission team? Honestly how hard is it to add those simple things? Jesus.

    • Be a developer and see from their perspective. It’s easy to judge when you haven’t an idea of what they go through.

      • Mario Porfírio Souza

See from the perspective that this feature should be present when the game was launched, as well as combat record and leaderboards.

        • Pete Growsun

Dude it’s literally a video game might wanna go outside or something lmao

          • Former

A poorly made video game with incompetent support. Also, why are you keeping up to date using articles for the game if you’re one of those “lul just a game bro” kids?

          • rob andy

here you are inside in a site typing in the forums LOL

        • But we’re back to square one again. You haven’t seen from the developer’s side of things to fully understand the situation.

Imagine if you were a developer and had issues working out bugs or server issues, even putting overtime on these situations. Would you like it if some angry fans kept yelling in their ear the whole time, regardless of how hard you were working?

          • rob andy

they had 3 years to make this game, 3 years to make this crap, they had heaps amount of time to test everything, even in the end they could have took half a year to test shit and they did not, stop sucking there dicks on this shit game, and i didnt know angry fans are right next to them making a shit game yelling in there ears, thats news to me , funny how before it was 2 years and they got everything in the game, now 3 years and to stupid to compensate for issues.

        • Jon

          Quit crying kid

          • Mario Porfírio Souza

            Stop sucking Activision dick

          • Ryan Gorman

Defending developers is not sucking Activisions dick. Please kid gtfo

          • rob andy

its sucking dick son, stop hiding the fact you suck dick too, let it out, its okay, theres a bunch of you dick suckers out there.

          • alfredo

            Maybe he wanna suck yours

        • Mario Rivera

          LOL!!!

          #hereWEgoAGAIN

          lol

      • Former

Really? Then how were previous years so much better than this one? IW has delayed so many features and have screwed up so many fixes this year that it’s pathetic. The best part? It’s only February! They still have many more months to prove how shit they are.

        • Again, be a developer and realize how difficult things can be, not to mention people like you yelling at them to fix things like wild animals.

          • Former

Lol. I don’t yell at them to fix anything. I simply laugh at their incompetence when they try to fix things, and also laugh at blind fanboys such as yourself who can’t see just how shitty this year’s support has been.

          • Like I said to someone else, imagine yourself being a developer told to fix issues and even putting overtime into fixing said issues. Could you imagine that regardless of your hard work, you still get yelled at and not even thanked by the people you’re fixing issues for?

That’s what you, and many others, are doing. They are incapable of understanding because they’re too stubborn to do so just so they can feel better about themselves. Congrats–you are basically acting like a jerk.

          • Former

Why should I thank someone for shitty work? That’s like the cable guy coming over, butchering your internet speed, then you thanking him as he walks out the door…Lmao.

Like I said, if being a developer is so painfully difficult, how is it that Bo3 and 10x the competence last year? Infinity Ward just doesn’t give 2 shits because their game didn’t sell well; let’s be honest here.

          • So you wish to remain toxic and still not consider how the devs feel? I guess talking to you is going uphill to nowhere.

          • Former

So you wish to remain cock-hungry and cradle the devs balls even though they’re shit at their jobs? I guess talking to you is going nowhere as well.

          • jordanxbrookes

“cradle the devs balls” lmao 😂

          • Especially considering how immature you are, it’s a good thing I won’t reply after this.

          • Former

Immature is being too naive to see the truth.

          • rob andy

if i was blind id see the truth from this shit game lmao

          • Duke of hazard

Just stop it. No matter how hard you try, you will not succeed on making us excuse IW for being straight up lazy.

          • BradyAlucard

How is it laziness when they’re understaffed? That’s pretty extreme, and why no mention of Activision at all?

          • Duke of hazard

“How is it laziness when they’re understaffed?” Again with the excuses. They merged with Neversoft, how can they still be understaffed after that fiasco that happened at least 7 years ago?

“That’s pretty extreme, and why no mention of Activision at all?” 1) Because we all know how Shitty Activision is. 2) They publish the games, not make them.

          • BradyAlucard

I admit I didn’t have the facts about the staff situation so I retract that statement, but what do you mean? The Neversoft merge was for Zombies and Zombies only. And Activision makes all of the business decisions, so when Supply Drops are put into the game, it’s entirely their fault; Infinity Ward just puts those things into the game and only do so to keep their jobs. They’re the boss, and they’re the ones we should be [mostly] blaming.

          • rob andy

it is a good thing, and only good thing youve said in this post LOL

          • rob andy

there so great they had layoffs LOL

          • BradyAlucard

Treyarch also suffered very little to next to no lay-offs, and have mostly been the same studio for over 15 years.

          • Duke of hazard

Probably because they don’t consistently screw up their games. BO3 may have been their worst Cod, and yet it was still a damn good Cod.

          • BradyAlucard

Nothing can be worse than CoD 3. Heck, I’d consider it to be one of their best CoD’s but I like all their other creations too. I don’t blame Infinity Ward nearly as much as I blame Activision. They were competent enough, heck I considered them to be equal to the other two studios because it’s required for the job in the first place.

          • Duke of hazard

They’re not competent at all. In the last few years, IW Cods have been backwards compared to Treyarch Cods. We went from BO2 to a half assed Ghosts. After Sledgehammer drops AW, Treyarch adopts the idea and produces a better jet pack game (BO3). Then Infinity Ward literally copies and pastes BO3 multiplayer on to Infinite Warfare and somehow made it worse.

SHG may have dropped the ball on AW, but they put effort into it, Treyarch is still the best dev, and Infinity Ward once again produces another half assed game. At this point, you can’t tell me they’re not lazy.

          • BradyAlucard

I still don’t think we know the full story. What if the game only took them 8 months to develop and they were forced to “literally copy and paste BO3”, and how is it worse when it’s “literally copy and paste”? Would that not be literally the exact same? Because that’s not copy and pasting TBH so that’s one minor flaw I can find in your statement IMO. This is just me, but I didn’t see anything in IW that made its gameplay any worse than BO3 other than some maps having corridors that are too narrow, and that’s not a fault of the movement. If you ask me, it’s just as smooth if not smoother; you don’t jump any higher for example. I think we both can agree that its map design isn’t quite as good, but TBH, they’re not much worse than Treyarch at all IMO.

I mean… when did any CoD developer NOT make any lazy decisions?

          • Former

IW got layoffs way after the fact. That has no relation to their shitty support this year.

          • BradyAlucard

Yeah I didn’t know we had actual facts surrounding the matter. I just don’t think IW deserves all the crap they’re getting out of a scandal that’s mostly Activision’s fault.

          • rob andy

your stubborn as well tho , the guy is going to school for this yet you do not and assume over a guy whos going to SCHOOL for this lmao

          • jordanxbrookes

            Thank you rob andy.

          • BradyAlucard

The Supply Drops are the priority, and they’re only such because it’s required for Infinity Ward to fulfill Activision’s demands, so I don’t blame them. I haven’t seen any arguments as to why people prefer Treyarch so much, because being their equal is what’s required to work there. Despite what’s said otherwise it’s not like they have college interns working there.

          • MultiplayerCop

Omg how complex can this stuff be?? Toast time I checked treyarch has done this stuff since black ops. Activision owns the rights to everything. They all share coding to their games.

Face it infinity ward is comprised of a bunch of inferior hack (the ones that kept their jobs).

The player counts are extremely low across the board. The deds are even turned off on this game.

Black ops 3 is flourishing. Can always find a lobby. Deds are up and running.

          • “Omg how complex can this stuff be?? ”

I don’t know. Find out by going for video game design. Only then will you fully understand.

          • jordanxbrookes

It’s not that complex when they already have the base line of code from previous games. Unless the programmers are only just learning C# or C++ or the current engine isn’t cooperating with the said base code, they really have no excuse to not have it already in the game. I mean, we know it’s already completed since they “accidentally” pushed it out publicly for a short time so I don’t see why players are having to wait even longer for a feature that should’ve been in the game at launch.

          • How can you be sure the code from previous games is intact? There are a lot changes that can occur that you may not even know about. The only way to know for sure is to be a developer.

          • jordanxbrookes

You do realize I’ve been studying games development for 4 years? I practically have the mind set of a developer. Unless one of IW’s programmers muddled up a vast chunk of code to the point where the majority or all of it is being redone, I highly doubt that the code is not intact. And like I said in the above comment, only logical reason would be the current engine isn’t cooperating with the old code, and so the programmers are finding a way round it, but since the emblem editor is already completed, I don’t see why players are having to wait another month. To me, it sounds like they didn’t bother working on and integrating the emblem editor into the game until the game had already released, because 5 months of waiting for a feature, that has been in at launch of 4 different Call of Duty games I may add, is ridiculous personally, especially when Infinity Ward are renowned AAA developers.

          • You “studied” on game development? So are you an actual COD developer then? If so, you should understand what kind of system they have in place, right? No, you do not. Therefore, you still don’t know anything.

We can always assume, but never fully know what’s happening.

          • jordanxbrookes

Did I say I was a CoD developer? No, I said I have the mindset of “a developer”. “You still don’t know anything” I know more than you do. I have given a few reasons as to why such a simple feature has been delayed by 5 months after launch, but if you want to live in your little CoD bubble, then that’s up to you. Truth is, this isn’t a 3-man indie studio, this is a 200+ man AAA team, who have worked on this game for 3 years and have yet to implement a basic feature that has been in CoD since 2010.

          • darren

If you knew the ins and outs, you would 1) have a job, and 2) you would actually be defending the devs. Just cuz I watch professional skateboarding and know the names of the moves, does not make me a professional skateboarder. So, we can just stop talking about what we know, because obviously, we don’t.

          • jordanxbrookes

            1) I’m still in Uni, hoping to get a job at a local indie studio in my city afterwards 2) Why would I defend developers for poor decision making? I’m guessing you want me to defend the folks at Hello Games as well lmao.

          • >No, you do not. Therefore, you still don’t know anything.

So this can obviously be said to you with your blind fanboy defending if we’re going by your shitty logic.

          • jordanxbrookes

It’s funny, he moans when people don’t have civil discussions, then when I proceed with a civil discussion, he throws his toys out of the pram because I didn’t say “Infinity Ward are da best in da world” lmao.

          • We were having a civil discussion, but now that you replied with this, can we say it’s civil anymore?

          • jordanxbrookes

The convo stopped being civil when you went full defensive mode at me for suggesting logical reasons why I reckon it’s taken 5 months after launch for IW to implement a basic feature into their game.

          • Mario Rivera

i think the glue from your wig might be seeping into your brain. lol!!! J/K!!!!

          • darren

At school? Or just looking shit up on the internet? Big difference there.

          • jordanxbrookes

No, at University bud. 2 years in college, 2 years in Uni and I’m going to do my Honours Degree in October. Try again.

          • BradyAlucard

That’s probably the best explanation I’ve heard of so far. I still don’t think this makes them bad developers.

          • rob andy

thank you to shut that guys dick sucker up, on top of that if they had took the last 6 months of the game and added all the features already suppose to be there and tested it, we woukd of had it at launch and you know, i know, they didnt!!! its not hard, on top of that it took 3 years to make like its common sense to see they didnt finish all of the game at launch

          • rob andy

its not hard really , make a game that would take 2.5years to make , have 6 months in the end to fix issues and add what was suppose to be added. they didnt , always compensate for issues , always , they did not.

          • ccrows

“The player counts are extremely low across the board. The deds are even turned off on this game.

Black ops 3 is flourishing. Can always find a lobby. Deds are up and running.”

            +1

I have seen more host migrations in IW already, than BO3 since it launched.

It’s no secret why Activision is leaning on BO3 in year 2 for DLC just as much as IW in year one…

          • rob andy

Again its a company that made games for years, its not rocket science to know there going to have issues and be prepared for it and they were not prepared, its like there just winging it, 3 years to make it , what was so hard to take the last 6 months to test it at a hardcore level? , dick sucking is balls deep with you LOL

        • Jon

          Clearly you don’t understand

          • Former

I understand that a AAA company should be on the ball when it comes to fixing issues, but sadly, IW is still behind other companies and they really showed that this year.

      • ccrows

It’s no secret that they purposely delayed the leaderboards because of the low online numbers.

Although why even bother hiding it, when MS keeps publishing that BO3 is the more active game anyway?…

        • Evidence of low population numbers on console? Keep the conspiracy theory junk at bay until you can provide actual evidence instead of simple “claims”.

          • ccrows

It’s right in front of your face in the freakin MS store of which game is more active. Conspiracy theory? GTFOH

            CLAIM THIS!… lol

          • MS store? I didn’t know they kept track of currently active populations, including those on PS4 and PC. Would you like to provide a screenshot of that?

          • ccrows

Get off your lazy ass, turn on your XB1, and check it out for yourself.

I could care less about PS4 or PC, but I’ve heard enough talk elsewhere that people find matches faster in BO3 than IW with the PS4.

Finally (real talk for a sec) it is extremely sad that people got laid off at IW. Nobody did with Treyarch, and they aren’t even the active dev. Just sayin… 🙁

          • You should show me exactly how to see the player numbers from the MS Store on Xbox One. All I see is user reviews, screenshots, clips, and more. Guide me through it, please. 🙂

          • ccrows

You can’t figure something simple like this out, and yet you claim to be a gaming dev?

            I really hope you’re trolling…

          • jordanxbrookes

            Sadly he isn’t.

          • I’m not a gaming dev. If it’s so simple, then please–guide me through it. Step by step. I want to be sure you know what you’re talking about.

          • rob andy

on xbox one, in hardcore , ive seen the same ppl over and over and over , what does that tell you lmao

          • Bob

They do keep track of PC.
            http://store.steampowered.com/stats/
IW isn’t even on that list, but BO3 is.

          • jordanxbrookes

Even Black Ops 2 is on that list haha.

          • Bob

Haha ya. When a 4 year old game is played more than a 4 month old game, you know you did something wrong.

          • BradyAlucard

With suffering from layoffs to Activision breathing down their necks demanding frequent Supply Drop updates alongside having to work on DLC and having to work on patches for “balancing” purposes, it’s no wonder why we didn’t have these features at launch. Infinity Ward aren’t the bad guys in this situation.

Every CoD dev studio is incompetent in different ways. This franchise still can’t get latency right.

          • rob andy

layoffs, thats all i need to say …

      • PDX Guitar Freak

I think you can be empathetic to the developers and their challenges, and be critical of Activision and Infinity Ward as organizations at the same time. I actually enjoy this game but remain disappointed by the prioritization of these businesses. They have pumped out more microtransactions as opposed to fixing some basic components of the game. I realize it’s all about revenue and profit for them (as with any business) but people are rightfully upset

        • I can be disagreeable to specific changes, but I also understand if I want something done, I offer feedback on their website and remain polite about it.

Nothing is done by remaining toxic, regardless of how right people feel about it.

          • PDX Guitar Freak

Fair enough. I agree there is a productive way to influence change, and being toxic doesn’t always help… but it can be a bit cathartic for many LOL

          • ccrows

In the COD community, nothing gets changed unless you complain.

Check out the Twitter accounts. There’s more then enough people giving “feedback”, but it keeps falling on deaf ears. That’s why civil feedback turns to complaining so quickly.

When enough people complain, then the big Youtubers complain.

& When big Youtubers complain, “then” it finally gets Activision’s attention…

        • ccrows

“They have pumped out more microtransactions as opposed to fixing some basic components of the game.”

That giant supply drop of all those common cards was a joke when the basic launch features were still missing.

Fortunately the community called Activision out on that BS…

      • Rager6amer

I totally agree…or.. I would if it was something big like a map pack or massive game-changing new fatures. But when it comes to leaderboards and custom emblems, this is easy.

All jokes aside, if for some stupid reason custom emblems were difficult to implement they could have just copied them from BO3 (at least til they get theirs figured out if any different), no? While i SOMEWHAT like the game, it doesnt take a genius to work out that they clearly have taken a lot of ‘Inspiration’ (*cough* copy and paste *cough*) from BO3’s design, so why would they stop at custom emblems?

I’m 100% with you but…as for sticking up for them when they are able to churn out hundreds of Supply drop items (and for things like camos they have to code it/change the camo layout for EACH weapon-much more time consuming than putting some 2D shapes i might find in a 3 Year old’s maths test into the game) the logic seems broken IMO. It’s clear to me that they have taken the ‘supply drops before *Free* in-game content to a whole new level…

        • Qaotik

With leaderboards, they were obviously trying to hide the number of players. For custom emblems, it’s probably a different story. With developers being laid off and IW having poor management, it’s possible that they do not have many programmers to add in the features they want. So everything is probably being bottlenecked

          • Rager6amer

Sure I have no doubt they were being cowardly. But its seems as if Activision members sitting in a board room meeting for like 3 months twiddling their fingers before one person says “Oh I know-what about having leaderboards for the top 10,000 only” Could they not have thought of this BEFORE the game came out lol?

Also im sure the layoffs did have an effect but lets be clear, it was only a small portion of the staff that have gone (as far as im aware). I also think (given that their revenue ALMOST caught up to BO3 sales when u factor in digital add-ons) that it was ridiculous for them to fire anybody, but thats businesses for u.

In terms of the lack off staff im sure it has reduced their ability to produce content, but these features SHOULD have been added before the game relased (i.e when they had more staff).

Of course I understand that if bosses are telling devs to focus on supply drop content etc first then u cant just say “no” but their priorities are now getting a little bit ridiculous… xD

          • Qaotik

Then again, this is also the same team that brought us Ghosts, and we all know how well that game went

          • BradyAlucard

I prefer this game. They were a much better studio than the ones who made Ghosts before the layoffs happened.

          • Rager6amer

            lol very true xD

      • Gimpanese

the fans have a right to judge these developers with the paychecks they get. Not to mention they are working for one of the most successful gaming company.

      • BradyAlucard

This. Other than a few people like Jordan I’m annoyed by how many people in this community think they know what they’re talking about. Period. I have no idea how long ago the lay-offs were or what they did during their 3 years of development, but it’s clear that they didn’t have enough manpower to do a new Leaderboard/Combat Record/Custom Emblem feature at launch with a new UI a. They’re still AAA-qualified developers because they have to be (it’s required to work there).

There’s the reasons; they were understaffed and had to delay the standard features to fulfill Activision’s Supply Drop demands. They’re not to blame, so why attack them personally on their skills as a developer? They’re equal to Treyarch and Sledgehammer in my mind.

        • RdJokr

This is probably the most reasonable reply I’ve seen in this article so far. Let’s not forget the change in the management during IW’s development cycle. They re-hired one of their old guys (who joine Respawn previously) to be MP director, then 4 months later he jumped ship back to Respawn. IDK about you, but changing staff on a management level right at the middle of development isn’t a good thing. This smells like corporate espionage to me. There’s even talks about IW not having truly used up their 3 year cycle properly for whatever reasons.

Overall, I feel that we shouldn’t be pointing fingers at who to blame without a clear picture of what really happened. Except Activision, because we all know they exist solely to take our money.

      • Duke of hazard

” It’s easy to judge when you haven’t an idea of what they go through”

Apparently this is a good enough excuse to not have basic features already put in the game after 3 years.

        • rob andy

exactly 1 year more then before and this game dont have basic features lol

      • Shane Lee O’shea

People would be more likely to do that when they charge less for a game that is not completed. Release the game for £10 and every feature that should have been with the launch have it as DLC to where all the features tally up for around £60.

People are entitled to complain about a game and it’s developers when they are paying full price for a game that isn’t complete.

Would you pay full price for a meal at a restaurant if it came half cooked and with missing items?

    • The9tailedgamer

Sigh, im gone from charlie intel for 1-2 weeks, and i return to this, the reason i dont go too far down into the comments

      • Former

        Cry about it.

  • Oh fuck outta here with the new prestiges, I can’t even motivate myself to get to prestige 5 let alone prestige 10, only just prestiged to fucking prestige 3 an hour ago.

  • Along with that new prestige levels are un-necessary, I’ve literally only seen one person in my whole time playing this game who has reached max prestige.

  • Blood Anvil is that new mission team, I believe.

New Prestige Levels? Cool! I just hit max rank yesterday.

As for scorestreaks, there will be variants of 4 of the streaks i.e. the Scarab, UAV, Warden, and Scorchers.

As for the community featured playlist, I want Grind, but in the form of “Fracture” i.e. multiple tags dropping at once and a single deposit site (that changes location).

  • I’m mildly disappointed in the delay of emblems, but I’m sure it’s for the best. Regardless, I’ll be on point to report those toxic emblems when I see them. 🙂

    • “Regardless, I’ll be on point to report those toxic emblems when I see them. :)”

What a cuck. Like holy shit lol

      • jordanxbrookes

Bet he goes to bed before 7 too lol.

        • Like, there is no way this is a fully grown adult talking here.

          • jordanxbrookes

He’s a furry, what did you expect lmao.

          • I guess I shouldn’t expect much huh lol

        • rob andy

I bet hes playing IW right now with his IW chair , limited edition headset that came with a cod doll of the terminator robot they have in the game LOL, oh look its 7 !!, bedtime!! LOL

      • World wide web

This guy has to be self-aware, like there’s no way he doesn’t realize everything he spews is cringy. Like he has to go “that’s a good opinion or that’s normal? I’m doing the complete opposite and add a ton of cringe”

      • BradyAlucard

Lol I’m a legal adult yet I still don’t want to come on BO3 to see immature XXX emblems.

        • I mean i dont either, but im not going to go out of my way to report people. It’s not a big deal.

          • BradyAlucard

Only when little kids see it. Call that bad parenting, and CoD’s an M-rated game, but there’s some crazy stuff out there that would make even adults cringe. lol

      • Smith N Wesson

So because you disagree with someone’s views, whether they’re serious or not,you have to take the offensive, name calling approach? BTW I disagree with your views, not going to stoop to your level though.

        • Wait a second. This is funny. The guy originally said he is going to report people’s emblems that he disagrees with. And im low for name calling?

He is going to try to get people banned from their accounts or banned from accessing features in the game because he disagrees with it. You realize how much of a fucking nerd you have to be to do that?

Oh man, don’t put yourself on that high horse now. “Lol i dont do it therefore you shouldn’t see how better i am xD”

          • Smith N Wesson

The feature is built in the game, correct? It was made for a purpose. As for you talking about me putting myself on a high horse, you’re right, I’m not going to act like I’m a better person than you. But If I’m correct, based on your previous comments, you put someone down, while lifting yourself up, based on their views by saying nerd, and cuck. So maybe that message about “high horse” is a good lesson for you to learn too.

          • Mario Rivera

Its a Interesting debate that I’m torn on. I’m personally not fond of people putting vulgar things on full display but on the same note I do realize that this game is rated for mature audiences only.

          • >The feature is built in the game, correct? It was made for a purpose.

Never said it didn’t have a purpose. But going out of your way and acting like it’s something to brag about is so fucking stupid.

            >But If I’m correct, based on your previous comments, you put someone down, while lifting yourself up, based on their views by saying nerd, and cuck

Because he is a cuck and so are you.

            >So maybe that message about “high horse” is a good lesson for you to learn too.

I don’t need a high horse, cuck. Also me insulting someone isn’t me lifting myself up. I have no idea where you got that from. You must be straight retarded

          • Smith N Wesson

I want you to look up what an insult is, do your own research, because for some reason you don’t see how, calling someone a cuck ( Something considered low in today’s society) is putting someone down. Which in order to do that you have to say you’re a better person.

          • I’m technically miss using the word cuck. I’m using it because I think it’s funny, and the other hand, if you actually go around reporting people’s emblems you dont agree with it and you actually think youre saint for it, you’re a fucking idiot.

Me insulting a person doesn’t mean “oh hey im lifting myself up” i mean i can easily say the same about you. You sitting here criticizing me for using insults while you put yourself on a high horse because you dont is you lifting yourself up. So you’re no better and your argument is just shit.

Keep in mind, the guy youre defending actually insulted another user on this site for A SIMPLE TYPO.

Keep up with your high horse mate.

          • Smith N Wesson

I’ll break this down for you piece by piece

“I’m technically miss using the word cuck. I’m using it because I think it’s funny, and the other hand, if you actually go around reporting people’s emblems you dont agree with it and you actually think youre saint for it, you’re a fucking idiot.”

I don’t care what you supposedly (Since I can read your mind) used the word “Cuck” for. I’m telling you that its demeaning (Not opinionated but Fact). You don’t have to be a rocket science to understand that. The part about the emblem is opinionated, so stop stating it as facts, you should’ve ended that sentence with “I think you’re an idiot”

Me insulting a person doesn’t mean “oh hey im lifting myself up” i mean i can easily say the same about you. You sitting here criticizing me for using insults while you put yourself on a high horse because you dont is you lifting yourself up. So you’re no better and your argument is just shit.

Your argument here makes no sense. I’m not criticizing ( judging) you, my statement would have to be an opinion. Me stating a fact is different from you stating an offensive opinion (I said “So because you disagree with someone’s views, whether they’re serious or not,you have to take the offensive, name calling approach?”). That makes this argument invalid.

“Keep in mind, the guy youre defending actually insulted another user on this site for A SIMPLE TYPO.”

Hmmm, didn’t know that. So your argument is, He insulted someone , so I wanted to insult him back. I guess this makes it okay for you to be the very same thing you hate?

Keep up with your high horse mate.

Don’t understand this statement, as I’ve made it clear I’m not trying to say I’m better than you.

          • >I don’t care what you supposedly (Since I can read your mind) used the word “Cuck” for. I’m telling you that its demeaning (Not opinionated but Fact). You don’t have to be a rocket science to understand that. The part about the emblem is opinionated, so stop stating it as facts, you should’ve ended that sentence with “I think you’re an idiot”

And not once did I deny that it’s demeaning. I’m telling you why I use that word. Also, obviously it’s opinionated. I didn’t realize I was stating facts.

It’s obviously opinionated that I think if you or the other cuck report people’s emblems that I think youre an asshole. You’re actually willing to take time out of your day to get people banned over an image you don’t like? And you’re going to criticise me for insulting a person that I disagree with?

            Are you retarded?

            >Your argument here makes no sense. I’m not criticizing ( judging) you.

Wait a second, this right here

“BTW I disagree with your views, not going to stoop to your level though.”

Isn’t being judgemental? You’re not going to stoop to my level? Implying that I’m obviously low as a person to use insults. Neither the rest of the reply was criticism? Like do you even pay attention to the shit you write?

            >Me stating a fact is different from you stating an offensive opinion

You haven’t stated any facts. All you have done is put yourself on a high horse and said “don’t insult ppl for their opinon, i dont do it and neither should you i won’t stoop to your level”

Nothing of fact was presented in any of your comments.

            >Hmmm, didn’t know that. So your argument is, He insulted someone , so I wanted to insult him back. I guess this makes it okay for you to be the very same thing you hate?

My argument is that insulting or not insulting is irrelevant. You’re literally grasping at straws.

            >Don’t understand this statement, as I’ve made it clear I’m not trying to say I’m better than you.

“I wont stoop to your level”

            Lol, okay.

          • Smith N Wesson

You denied that it was demeaning as soon as you said “I don’t need a high horse, cuck. Also me insulting someone isn’t me lifting myself up.” Demean means degrade, to degrade someone is to lower an individual. I proved my point. Also You should be mad at the developers, obviously they feel the same way, as they added the feature into the game. Also they don’t ban someone unless they fit their bill.

          • we

i don’t think his point is that the feature is there, it’s that the cuck came in here all mighty with the “hahahha and im going to report them! xD i a furry and 12 btw xD” It’s cringy to most people (probably not you tho cuz you’re in an argument and trying to prove a “point”). The fact that you went to this same argument even though he explained his actual angle to you before means you don’t pay attention.

          • Smith N Wesson

You clearly missed the point, your response is so off topic, to what I was talking about I can’t help but think this is “sXeGreatness” using a anonymous account just to redirect the point. Not saying its the case though.

          • No, I denied that I am acting like I am a self righteous person. Which you are claiming. Me calling him a cuck does not equal me saying “im better than you”

And me being mad at the developers is irrelevant. Sure the feature is there. Fine, cool. But if you’re actively just looking to get people banned, for the sole purposes of getting them banned, you’re an asshole. That’s the point, you moron.

          • Smith N Wesson

Look up the definition of demeaning. To demean says “Im better than you” why are you so stubborn and unable to see it.

          • And again, nothing said was implied or even said I was being than said person. Calling someone a cuck doesn’t mean “hey im better than you”.

Again, youre stuck on this idea that I am self righteous. Yet, this entire time you have replied to me, and especially your first reply to me has been nothing short of you being self righteous. It’s extremely hypocritical you’re going to try to tell me that I have “im better than you” attitude when literally your first reply and your exact words are “i wont stoop to your level”

          • Smith N Wesson

Here is the part where I made it clear I’m not trying to say I’m better than you “As for you talking about me putting myself on a high horse, you’re right, I’m not going to act like I’m a better person than you.” So why are you still stuck on something I’ve already made clear. And for my last comment, you just said your argument was ” insulting or not insulting is irrelevant.” So basically you’re telling me you were arguing with me because you felt whether insulting or not, its unrelated? If you’re able to make a valid point to my response, I’ll maybe respond back. Good day.

          • >Here is the part where I made it clear I’m not trying to say I’m better than you

You definitely did. “I wont stoop to your level”. Saying that obviously means “oh i’m better than that” and there is no denying that. Which obviously implies you think I would be low to use insults. This single thing proves you’re trying so hard to be on the high horse.

            >So why are you still stuck on something I’ve already made clear.

This entire argument is you being self righteous.

            >So basically you’re telling me you were arguing with me because you felt whether insulting or not, its unrelated?

It is. Using insults in an argument or not is completely irrelevant. It doesn’t take away from the person’s argument, it doesn’t make it any less valid. There is no rule where it says “thou shall not use insults while in conversation”. You’re basically looking for something to bitch at instead you know actually arguing with what’s on hand.

          • Smith N Wesson

How about we leave it at this, we don’t see eye to eye, and we won’t. This dragged on longer than it should. All this talk and no progress. I apologize for condemning you for your actions.

          • Fair enough and no need to apologize for anything.

    • rob andy

ill make sure to add jizz on my emblame 🙂

    • rob andy

ill make sure to add jizz on my emblem 🙂

    • Altered Vista

I will never forget Rugged Savior. The man who made the thread during Ghosts telling IW to go into space on the official cod forums.

  • Mario Porfírio Souza

Infinity dont learn from past mistakes. One more time they add new prestiges, this sucks.

    • I like the new prestige ranks. Gives people who are max rank something to do.

      • Mario Porfírio Souza

You win nothing with that, its just aesthetical. And you lose a lot of time to get max prestige.

        • BradyAlucard

Then what would the point of seeing score after killing someone be?

      • MurkN101

I feel sorry for anyone that’s max prestige on such a shit game.

    • ccrows

I could honestly care less if they add new prestiges. I not even PM 200 in BO3, and I love that game.

Eventually I’ll keep leveling up, but I’m not gonna lose any sleep over it if I never hit 1000…

  • Your dad

Shut the fuck up all you guys do is complain……. nothing’s wrong with adding new prestige levels. And I bet most you who are complaining are ass at cod anyways. And if you think I’m trash play me FaTaL_X_DreamZ psn.

    • ccrows

      Thanks dad.

      &

      Cool guest account bruh…

    • rob andy

      here you are complaining LOL

  • ccrows

“New content” being added to Quartermaster on Regular Basis.”

^ FFS just give us the nuke variant on EVERY gun already, and call it a day. For the guns that already had the nuke, (AKA the Fallout) then it’s 1 kill less.

You literally have all these FREAKIN GUNS in the game, and only like 2% of them can go for a nuke. No wonder why this game is so dead at night outside of TDM… <_<

  • Slothigans

I set my person to have a female voice and it hasn’t worked ever. Anyone else have this issue?

    • You set the voice to transgender by mistake.

      • Slothigans

        Guess so lol.

  • They should add contracts like in BO3 where we can earn keys for daily and weekly challenges..

    • You mad huh?

remember how long that took though. :/

  • Nate Rutkowski

Anybody else think that infinite warfare had a late start? It almost seems that thyou were making another cod game and had to make infinite warfare in less than 2 years. I mean look at the game the armor is poorly designed and taunts are mainly stupid and simple nothing to the level of black ops 3. And not to mention it never had leader boards or and emblem editor and it’s easy to glitch in zombies. Idk it seems there may have been something else in the works

    • jordanxbrookes

More like less than a year, MP wise.

      • BradyAlucard

Even though there’s no evidence I believe that too. And truthfully I find it to be a decent excuse since it’d explain a lot. I’ll cave and hop on the “Infinity Ward sucks” bandwagon once I see someone prove to me they worked on MP for 3 years.

    • ccrows

The entire MP project does seem “Rushed”.

I wouldn’t be surprised if they originally tried making that rumored “Space Warfare” game (Google it if you never heard of that rumor) in year 1, and at the last second did a complete copy and paste of BO3 just to play it safe…

  • Adding more prestige levels is stupid. Like honestly I hate that so much. Now if they want to add bonus levels after max rank like Treyarch did, fine.

Also delaying custom emblems again lol. Taken them like 5 months at this point to put in BASIC FEATURES. LOL

And yeah yeah scorestreak variants. I guess this is what Activision means when we are in the early days of supply drops. Maybe those cliche supply drops jokes, aren’t jokes anymore.

So when is a daily/weekly contract system going to be added or….

    • jordanxbrookes

I bet you it’ll be a Golden Prestige 10 with Roman Numerals, just like with MW3.

      • I don’t doubt it for a second, i remember they did that back in MW3 when they added a shit ton of prestige levels. I just didn’t bother prestiging anymore

        • jordanxbrookes

I went to 11th back in the day and couldn’t be arsed to carry on lol.

      • ccrows

IDK if they’ll copy SH on that.

Although 10 more prestiges in this game (total) probably makes more sense than 10 more plus the road to 1000… 😉

    • Former

Daily/weekly contracts will never come. Their replacement for that is just handing us free rewards every day.

      • Well didn’t they say they were going to add more ways to get salvage like a month and a half ago? Surely that means a type of contract system. Because if their answer was literally add 50 more levels that give you 75 salvage every time is pretty weak

        • Former

That and the 5th mission team could be all they meant when they promised that. But yeah, the bonus salvage is tiny as fuck considering how long it takes to level up past 50.

      • ccrows

They’re gonna need something more to get this game to the finish line though.

It’s not even DLC1 for XB1, and this game blows for finding matches outside of TDM late at night. It’s not like I’m trying to play uplink either, all I want to do is play Dom… <_<

  • Customs emblems is a feature that should have been in the game at launch lmao.

    • jordanxbrookes

Tell that to Rugged Savior. He thinks delaying a basic launch feature by 5 months is acceptable.

      • People blindly bashing developers with added toxicity is unacceptable, especially when they’ve no idea of what COD developers have to go through.

        • jordanxbrookes

I’ve given reasons, ways to improve and general thoughts for poor decisions made in the past and I still got shit for it. As for “you have no idea what these poor CoD developers go through”, buddy I do. Some things aren’t nice for them to have to do, I acknowledge times can be tough when deadlines come around, but they are industry professionals with an extra year and added time. I may dislike AW, but I applaud Sledgehammer for at least implementing basic features on launch.

        • rob andy

and you do? lol you dont know shit either your assuming out of your ass

      • Qaotik

He never said it was acceptable, if anything, he and everyone is disappointed. However, at least it is coming late than never. Especially when this feature hasn’t appeared in every title and at least had some changes made to it.

I think it’s taking this long because of the poor management over there and the fact that some are being laid off. Thus, there could be a shortage of programmers. So they are probably being bottlenecked right now with adding content and bug fixes. But that’s just speculation

        • jordanxbrookes

He didn’t need to. Oh and thanks for a civil response. Those too could be logical reasons, however lay-offs usually affect people at the bottom of the studio hierarchy, so I doubt IW’s main programmers were included in those lay-offs.

          • Qaotik

            Who knows

      • BradyAlucard

It’s not. I just don’t see why I should be blaming Infinity Ward instead of mostly Activision. Before the layoffs happened I’d probably classify them as Treyarch’s equals, now they’re a broken team and taking the blame for literally everything.

        • jordanxbrookes

In this instance, I would blame both: Activision for telling Infinity Ward to prioritize MicroDLC over basic features and Infinity Ward not having the features ready at launch and instead make the players wait 5 months. Roughly 20 Infinity Ward employees out of 200+ were laid off and usually it’s minors that take the loss when it comes to layoffs. I’ll admit 20 is still a chunk laid off, but considering Custom Emblems should have been at launch and Infinity Ward had 4 months extra before the layoffs occurred, so personally, the layoffs reason doesn’t cut it.

          • BradyAlucard

I didn’t know we had evidence of the exact amount so that’s completely 100% my bad and that changes things quite a bit, actually. On one hand it still makes me consider them to be Treyarch’s equals but on the other even though I’m sure trying to change these basic mandatory features is difficult, it’s still not a good enough excuse I agree. I could use every excuse in the book but I don’t to be made out to be a fanboy, I just don’t agree with the notion that Infinity Ward is so much less skilled than Treyarch and that Infinite Warfare is worse than Ghosts. But that just comes down to subjectivity.

          • jordanxbrookes

You’re not a fanboy, you’re someone who can hear both sides (which I know sounds hypocritical since I tend to be negative towards IW, but I have said a few praises to the game before). If you check on my Twitter, I’ve even reiterated that I don’t necessarily hate the developers individually and that I acknowledge they have talent and skill, I just hate poor decisions.

          • BradyAlucard

I appreciate that, I’m just glad that not everyone who plays CoD are toxic degenerates.

          • ccrows

On one hand, I do think that Infinity Ward does get a lot of undeserved hate.

However when Infinite Warfare was supposed to be “the game” to put Infinity Ward back on the map, and you don’t have basic stuff like leaderboards, combat records, a beautiful ping meter that BO3 had at launch then it’s hard to defend them.

It sucks that people got fired (I honestly was sad about that), but make no mistake Current Infinity Ward is not equal to Treyarch…

          • BradyAlucard

With the staff loss? I can agree with you about Infinity Ward not being *currently* equal to Treyarch, but fundamentally before the layoffs, they were IMO. There are just so many things going on behind the scenes that we know nothing about.

        • ccrows

“I’d probably classify them as Treyarch’s equals”

          No… lol 😉

          • BradyAlucard

I guess they’re fighting words but I would, with such little time they’ve had to make this game, (just IMO, not saying I know how long the development cycle was this year) and how smooth the game plays. Sledgehammer, too.

            It’s required in the resumé.

  • Mick

New “feature” for scorestreaks? Either it’s that leak from earlier with certain streaks having different attributes or I’m thinking customizable streaks like AW did with the modules.

    • ccrows

I guarantee that it’s gonna be new weapon perks. There’s no way that they would change the base game to be more customizable like AW when they can just add that into the SD box instead.

Either way, this is gonna hurt the game even more, and with DLC1 not even out for XB1, I honestly wonder how IW is gonna make it to the finish line this year…

      • Mick

Oh they won’t. This game is pretty much forgotten at this point. It’s only a matter of time before we get leaks and trailers for the next upcoming cod game. But yeah, like you said they could add the scorestreak attributes to the supply drops.

  • Qaotik

At least the emblems are coming. Better late than never

    • ccrows

I’ll take never, since they’ll probably stuff the SD box with extra common “content” bloat…

  • snake56

It would be nice if they added a co-op mode like Ghosts’ Squad mode.
Also I don’t get why it takes them months to add custom emblem, can’t they share their features between the 3 studios who work on the IP?

    • Slothigans

I wouldn’t be surprised if they put custom emblems in the supply drops.

      • ccrows

I’m sure that’s the “New Content” bloat, and I’m also sure that most of that will be common… <_<

  • Joshwoocool

“New “feature” coming soon for scorestreaks. Not specific on what the feature is.”

    That is likely scorestreak variants.

    • ccrows

“but when is the dlc coming to xb1 and pc?”

No official date on that yet, but it has to be 30 days after PS4, and PS4’s date was on 1/31…

The more prestige thing makes me not want to prestige anymore

  • Don’t you think it’s a bit late into the cycle to release things like Emblems now?

    • ccrows

They’re only doing it for SD/bloat money, otherwise they would be ignoring it…

  • Jay Heimrich

The last part doesnt really matter since no one plays on pc bc of hackers so its pointless to put in the pc port
