People on NeoGAF have found the official (preliminary) 2017 E3 Floor Plans, which confirms that Activision Publishing will have their own booth at E3 this year.

Activision did not have a booth at E3 2016 (first time they did skip the event in terms of a booth), instead opting to show Infinite Warfare with Sony PlayStation.

Activision’s 2017 title slate includes the new Call of Duty 2017 and Destiny 2, both of which are expected to be at E3 this year.

The floor plans were posted to E3’s website, and it is not clear if the plans were supposed to be posted at this time.

E3 2017 takes place June 14-16 in Los Angeles, CA.

“Activision did not have a booth at E3 2016 (first time they did skip the event in terms of a booth), instead opting to show Infinite Warfare with Sony PlayStation.”

    ^ Gee, I wonder why?

Hopefully SH is smart enough to do a beta like Trey, and not a demo like IW… <_<

    • Element115Will

What? Demo? How was it a “demo” if you played multiplayer? First time seeing someone call that a “demo.”

      • Elite Predator

Well I think we can all agree the “beta” version we played, was the final product of the game. It was not in the beta stage. It was finalized so with Ccrow calling it demo of the full product, as in, some accessible weapons and a few maps, it was a demo of the full product, not a beta

      • jordanxbrookes

Let’s be honest, what we played last year with IW was a Demo that was pretty much in it’s final stage. They called it a “Beta” as a marketing ploy.

        • BradyAlucard

The term “beta” is a marketing ploy really, these days. Betas don’t restrict the amount of content that’s in them, at least that’s how they were usually done. The ones now just let you play the games early, which is fine too, but they’re all “demos” in my book.

      • Gamerazor247

That “beta” really was a demo. Just can’t see you releasing a “beta” less than a month before release and expect to make substancial progress on fixing issues, like what¿ Shit look at all the multiplayer games Ubisoft has been releasing, all had “betas” a week or more before release! You could argue that they used a earlier build of the game, but, GTFO.

        • BradyAlucard

Didn’t Overwatch do the exact same thing? All betas are demos, really. They’re just letting us play the games early.

      • ccrows

Certain “COD Youtubers” were actually playing an “Alpha” version of BO3 before any of us got even play the beta.

In the alpha, they got to play Hunted and Evac. (IDRC if Combine was there)

BTW, fun fact – in the “Alpha” the map “Evac” was totally different with that middle room. The Youtuber Prestige confirmed that with pics in one of his vids. (basically 2 of the doors in that middle room were switched around, and they changed it to what it is now to add more flow)

However, make no mistake, IW was a demo. They called it a beta for marketing reasons. They basically needed to do it since Treyarch had one, but there was not enough time to make any significant changes before launch, which is why it was a demo…

        • jordanxbrookes

I miss the old tinny, nail sound of the KN-44 back in the Black Ops 3 Alpha & Beta.

          • BradyAlucard

Back when it was called ARK.

          • ccrows

ARK-7 I believe it was called.

Although I like (and prefer) the KN-44 name change…

          • BradyAlucard

Really? Hmm. I don’t know why they did it but I personally prefer ARK-7.

          • I don’t remember the exact lineup, but i.believe in the Alpha it was called the ARAK, than in the beta we all got to play it was called the ARK-7 and then they went with KN-44. I really wonder why they were so undesicive about it’s name.

          • jordanxbrookes

Or back when it was called the ARAK.

          • BradyAlucard

            Was it?

      • BradyAlucard

Really? That was a meme for months. The community mainly called it a demo only because of how close the game was to launch, but I’d consider BO3’s “beta” to be a “demo” too. They really limited what you could play and unlock in both. Real betas don’t, they’re just letting you play the games early and they slap the word “beta” because they can, and only for marketing reasons.

        • ccrows

BO3 in my mind was a true beta, because the Lag Comp (IMO) was awful in the beta and fixed at launch.

We also had the Razorback nerf, M8 nerf, Hellstorm Nerf, and most important the black hat nerf (that s*** would have been game breaking).

So by the time the game launched, most of the stuff that the community hated was already fixed and ready to go at launch…

          • BradyAlucard

I heard that lag comp was worse at launch. But anyway, the thing is is that real beta testers would test the full game, what we get is very restrictive. It’s all marketing fodder.

          • ccrows

LC was fixed at launch for me, but was broken AF during the beta.

Fortunately Treayrch was in charge, and I was pretty confident that Vahn would fix that, and he did… 🙂

          • jordanxbrookes

I miss the Black Ops 3 Beta Razorback and Hellstorms. They were just so fun to get kills with.

        • Yeah I like ARK-7 more than KN44 but they both sound pretty good.

    • jordanxbrookes

I hope so. After what happened with AW Multiplayer, this game needs a proper Beta. I still have trust issues with Sledgehammer.

      • I have faith in SHGames doing something great this year. I give them the benefit of the doubt because AW was literally the only Call of Duty they done on their own. AW is also easily the best looking Call of Duty game in terms of graphics. So SHGames definitely has loads of potential to create something great. You can just tell how excited they are Twitter. They really wanna say something

        • jordanxbrookes

Yeah best looking, but that’s it. I found the gameplay clunky due to their version of the engine. You can also feel the clunky gameplay in MWR too. It’s sad because AW and MWR look great, but play so wonky. I’m hoping they’ve updated their engine and improved on the gameplay side of things because graphically it looks fine at the moment.

          • BradyAlucard

AW has very smooth gameplay IMO, but little effects in comparison to BO3 and IW. Its art looks good but in terms of pure graphics I’d say AW doesn’t look quite as good as BO3/IW. But the thing is is that with this next game they can optimize their engine to look just as good if not better now. But yes, AW is still a beautiful game.

          • Duke of hazard

I actually thought the AW and MWR gameplay was smooth tbh. But you’re right. They need to update their engine or make a new one entirely. It’s amazing on how Cod still uses an engine from 1999.

          • jordanxbrookes

Perhaps it’s the way the movement is or how your character’s collisions are, but I find myself getting stuck on everything and the movement very off.

          • Duke of hazard

I can see what you’re saying in AW. I just dont see it in MWR.

          • Yeah I expect their game to be improved and actually smoothed out this time around.

        • BradyAlucard

I find that BO3’s and IW’s graphics are better. They have better lighting/PBR and materials from what I’ve seen. And I’m pretty sure that BO3 has global illumination in its MP and AW does not.

          • I dont see how BO3 or IW looks better. Maybe BO3 with how saturated it looks and whatnot

          • BradyAlucard

Nah, that’s cosmetic. From my perspective, BO3 has better physically-based materials, perhaps more polygons, added Global Illumination, and more anti-aliasing. IW has some crazy lighting going on, it’s beautiful.

          • I think AW overall looks better and easily beats both of them

          • jordanxbrookes

I disagree. I find Advanced Warfare to have better graphics than Black Ops 3 and Infinite Warfare. Black Ops 3’s lighting and shadowing I feel is the best so far and Infinite Warfare’s Sky Domes are just beautiful.

          • BradyAlucard

I don’t really know for a fact tbh, I just found that BO3 has better PBR materials and I’m pretty sure it has Global Illumination.

        • ccrows

As long as they don’t use that same SBMM BS that they used in AW, then I think it will be a solid game (especially with boots already confirmed)… 🙂

          • jordanxbrookes

If they amp up SBMM again, I might have another aneurysm lol.
