These guys are trying so hard to make up for their mistakes in the past so that they can finally step it up when they’re called on duty. I just hope their efforts are worth it and we finally get a great game that actually deserves it’s amounts of sales. Their task will not be easy as Activision loves to ruin everything with their greedy schemes but I’m sure Sledgehammer will get it right this time or atleast I hope.

    • Tested

It will be good for the first month but then they will add supply drops pay to win crap, and start adding animated camos, and snoop dogg voice overs

      • SSR

No pay to win stuff in IW, you can complete challanges to unlock new guns (not the axe tho)

      • Anthony Flores

Advanced Warfare supply drops weren’t horrible. Black Ops III’s were atrocious. Modern Warfare Remastered were okay. Infinite Warfare started out terribly, but they did remedy it, from my understanding. Don’t quote me, but I believe Drift0r said the game started with pay-to-win weapons in supply drops, but now, any new weapon is free, and you have to pull its variants. That’s not too bad, and I’d be fine with that in WWII. I’d prefer supply drops weren’t in the game, but if they have to be, the MWR/IW route is the way to go.

        • The loot in AW wasn’t bad, there was less filler in supply drops compare to BO3 and IW. But the supply drop system in AW is pretty bad

IW making camos for weapon classes instead of individual weapons was commendable, I hope SH puts that system in WWII.

          • Anthony Flores

It was full of shin guards and knee pads, but weapon-wise, it wasn’t as bad in its life cycle as Black Ops III.

          • Where as BO3 has calling cards, emblems, camos, recticles, attachment variants, specialists armor, etc. There is x10 more filler in BO3 and IW drops. The loot in AW was very good, that I can agree with. But the system itself, was shit.

          • Anthony Flores

I’d agree with that. The system was very simple in AW, though, which I liked. You got a random supply drop, and you opened it. That was it. Now it’s grinding for keys, and doing missions, and it’s just too much. I like that they’re not random, but I also wish it worked differently. I personally love the attachment variants from BO3 and the accessories from IW, though, and I want them to come back, with a WWII-appropriate theme.

        • ccrows

Just give me salvage and no variants (exactly like MWR is doing it) and I’m good with the SD system in this game…

    • jt3z

Mistakes? People asked for a different COD and they changed it now ppl ask for it back and they go back.

      • QuickzZ-_-GhosT

Yes mistakes because their first game was horrible.

        • jt3z

Hardly horrible, they just made changes people didnt like.

  • Mick

Don’t know if anyone else caught this but minimum beta duration will be 3 days. That seems a bit short in my opinion. https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/57589c21fde98402a09007db08ce2223b117e7566b8fd91df8d312c0bbb9b6ad.jpg

    • It should be five days like Black Ops 3. But i guess if not, it just needs to be in August or something and not two weeks before release. That’s my only problem.

      • Mick

Yeah I agree. Black Ops 3 did it best. Plus if I remember correctly, the beta got extended an extra week due to people having connectivity problems. Don’t know if the “subject to change” part means the beta duration could change or be extended? Hope so.

      • Elite Predator

We’re getting multiplayer reveal in June, so I’m firm about it being during the summer

      • ccrows

COD WWII is gonna be at E3 this year, so (IMO) that’s a good sign that we’ll get an actual beta and not a demo… 🙂

        • Mick

Right, and I’m not trying to come across saying this a bad idea, but I think the duration could be longer.

    • dfryrt

Went from no beta to beta, that’s all I care about. They don’t need weeks of testing, just a few days when the rush is at a high.

    • Mitch Barnett

I guarantee it will be extended to at least 5 days probably 7 though.

  • Beast Mode

    SnD is gona be lit

  • SPAWNST4R

You hope it’s not going to be this bad but you know it will be….. https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/b653a245ff5071a3e23df6c54c06908c4e0af9c0e0ccf62c1adcfaf3e71dcf32.jpg

    • Jester

Hahahahahahahahahahaha, sadly, this is so true. Hope ATVI doesn’t uses an SD system like BO3 and maybe like MWR, which I think would be the best option.

    • jt3z

Honestly who cares? This type of shit is in most games these days and its about time you fools get used to it.

    • Anthony Flores

I don’t think this will happen. I think the camos and clothes will all be WWII-appropriate. Maybe gold or diamond camo, but that’s fine by me, especially the gold.

Notice how it says, Season pass content is not final, is subject to change, and may not include all downloadable content available for the game.

AKA supply drops confirmed … FUCKIN BULLSHIT, they better keep weapons out of it

    • Well that’s how it’s always been. It’s never included all downloadable content.

And supply drops being in CoD is just common sense now that it’s going to be in the game

  • Roscoe

    Maaan,

the hype is definitely real right now.

  • BradyAlucard

I wish they’d get rid of the wiggly stupid-looking MW3 sprint animations. lol

    But that’s quite trivial.

    • GinsuVictim

I hear this complaint all the time, but I have never noticed it.

      • BradyAlucard

Wha? Look at the way you sprint in the non-Treyarch games… I vastly prefer Treyarch’s and Respawn’s way of sprinting. The wiggly animations are dumb to me. Destiny and Halo have it too.

        • GinsuVictim

          Like I said, I haven’t noticed.

  • Subrojit Freiheit

too many ww2 ww1 story we need something on modern war based story !!

    • The Rabid One

Dude it’s 2017, not 2008. Wake up Rip Van Winkle

  • Correct me if I’m wrong, but I’m pretty sure that Call of Duty: WWII has the most liked reveal trailer on YouTube out of any CoD game.

  • Khaled Hassan

If this game has weapon variants & we still buy it then they will continue this abuse in every other title. I won’t buy it if it has variants.

    • GinsuVictim

I don’t get what the big deal is. I have no problem with variants as long as they aren’t too OP (I never had an issue outgunning the Obsidian Steed or NV4). I don’t pay a dime for supply drops and we know those are here to stay.

      • Tuhny Montana #SusGang

Make them cosmetic only. Every other big shooter does cosmetic only and people still play them. Counterstrike and Battlefield have cosmetic only supply drops. Monetizing a games weapons are how you ruin the game.

        • GinsuVictim

You can’t buy them outright, and I’ve earned all of the ones I want for free in IW. Anyone spending money on this shit is an idiot.

          • The Rabid One

There are 3 billion dollars worth of idiots online my friend.

          • GinsuVictim

And most of us here aren’t among them.

          • The Rabid One

I certainly hope they are not. But you know Activision; money, money, money.

      • Anthony Flores

I don’t have a problem with variants. My problem was RNG weapons, which was remedied in IW. I’d prefer they weren’t in WWII, but I’d be okay with variants as long as the game isn’t as complex and confusing as IW.

        • GinsuVictim

          IW is “complex and confusing?”

          • Anthony Flores

Yes. The menus are terrible, there’s the stupid robot guy, the different factions or whatever they are, the missions that go with those factions… There’s too much going on, and it sucks. It’s like Black Ops II and Black Ops III Zombies—a massive turn off for the old school players who enjoyed the simplicity. Hell, I’d prefer if they’d go back to the classic Create-a-Class system, too, as opposed to this pick 10/pick 13 system and whatever Ghosts had.

          • GinsuVictim

Mission Teams are one of the best things to happen to CoD.

          • Anthony Flores

            Debatable.

          • GinsuVictim

You’re the only person I’ve seen who doesn’t like mission teams.

  • Dre Lane

If everyone could take the time to take a look at my donation I’d appreciate it & no I’m not a bot, thanks

    • Seriously go away.

      • Dre Lane

        • There is something wrong with you.
