  • I don’t think it’s that bad to be honest, it’s two map packs in one basically, and a lot of bonus content, I feel like it’s worth it personally.

For those who expected it to be free for season pass owners, you know what the season pass covered, get over it.

    • DJSaviD

Yeah everyone else here is just hopping on the anti-CoD bandwagon. That’s all the community of this site ever does is criticize CoD and then go and play it.

    • Therockbrothers

two map packs in one, yes. The thing is that these maps are OLD, they’re not new maps or anything They’re just remasterd. So charching 30 dollars is insane, even more for me because it’s 30 euro’s which is 32,77 dollars. Back in black ops 1 they charged 15 dollars for 4 remasterd zombie maps plus a brand new zombies map.

Also it’s not ”a lot” of bonus content. A camo, 2 new bubble gums en some liquad divinium. It’s not bad but it’s not really a lot.

In my opinion they could have asked 25 dollars at max for this.

      • Rick

Yes 15$ for 4 maps thats the price for all map packs this is 8 maps if you guys no basic math i do not understand where the problem is 30$ is fair

      • Michael Romo

        $5 more isn’t much

        • BradyAlucard

For digital content it kind of is a bit much. “It’s just $5! It’s just $10!” I heard the same crap coming from people who defended the PS Plus price hike.

      • Qaotik

You’re assuming that everyone has paid for those map packs in the past, which is false. Not everyone buys the map packs because people know it fragments the playerbase and is usually not worthwhile. Look at me, I haven’t even played most of those maps. If I were to buy it, I wouldn’t be paying for something I already had when in reality I never did. It might be refreshed content for you, but not for the majority.

    • BradyAlucard

Price is the worst part about it, really. If that’s all we’re complaining about, then that’s nothing. But telling people to get over it? Come on, man, that doesn’t mean we should defend it. Let’s just pay the price of being a CoD fan and just enjoy the DLC. I hope that’s not too hard to ask.

      • Yes, you should get over it, no matter what you or anyone does it won’t change Activison’s decision.
Majority of people will still buy it regardless.

  • Skirmantas Aleknavicius

29.99 holy fuck. That price is fucking insane

    • Skirmantas Aleknavicius

Also. For uk people, seeying how they managed to charge cod ww2 for 60£ same as euro. I bet dlc is gonna be 30£ which is almost a price of a new triple A game. Lmao rip

      • It’s £25

      • ConorGamingzHD

        No RIP at all lmao.

    • Yankeephil

That’s literally $3.75 a map you cheap f*ck. A lot of actual zombies fans would have been willing to pay $60 for it.

      • PhD Monty

Yeah it’s a great price! I’d have paid $60 for sure.

      • ben wills

*a map that everyone already paid money for once

True story, and you are more than welcome to pop the BO1/BO2 disc into your XBoxs or PS3 and play them. Or you can pay the company for the work they’ve done on the map pack and play a fully updated/remastered version of it

          • myniqqamy

            bruh…
its not like treyarch is doing us a favor. Activision is DESPERATE for money because infinite warfare dlc sales are in an all time low. why would you pay $30 when you can play these maps on your old gen consoles where you know… you already paid the content ages ago.

          • Yankeephil

Because the matchmaking is dead on the old consoles, I even rebought a PS3 with the old games and maps to try to play the but everything is dead

          • Caleb Rose

I don’t own a PS3 or Xbox 360 so I got it so I can play old maps that I’ve seen pearls play Xbox is trash anyway

          • MayonaiseDragon YT

Treyarch didnt make infinite warfare dumbass

          • Reilly DuHaime

he said activision. the company above treyarch infinity ward and sledgehammer

          • Gaming Raptor

Haha ,he said activision not treyarch dumbass
            8=========>

          • Reilly DuHaime

            ah ehm. supply drops?

          • ben wills

The company is paid you moron. It’s called a salary.

The only people getting paid are ATVI.

Man, how do expect to be taken seriously when you don’t understand what a salary is? Jesus dude. Pathetic.

          • Cubly

Do you know how companies get money to pay said salaries? Just curious.

          • ben wills

Disqus goofed. Just typed out a whole thing, not doing it again. But here’s the basics

            – Company paid for project they worked on. Means you’re paying back Activision or lining their pockets further. Nothing to do with the workers. They had to get paid, they got paid.

            – So, at this point you’d only be worried about downscaling. Well, you don’t. Either these workers were contracted, in which case they got paid and are fine and lost nothing. Or, they work for 3arc full time, and were given a filler project before things get hectic on CoD2018. Jobs are safe as long as they did good, because BO3 was a huge success in all three areas (sales, DLC, MTs).

            – Finally, if ATVI wants to get money, then they can provide fair value for the package provided. You know, exactly how business works? Transactions, not handouts. Logic goes a long way.

Do you know how business works? Stupid has no cure.

          • Cubly

If you knew how businesses worked then you’d understand that it is important to have a product like this, especially when their other Call of Duty game at the time isn’t doing so well. These triple A games cost hundreds of millions to make and market. I am not defending their prices, but it’s not as simple as salaries.

          • ben wills

It was the highest selling game of last year. Not achieving previous CoD heights doesn’t mean that it isn’t not doing well.

IW has to do ONLY with Infinity Ward and Activision. Nothing to do with Treyarch employees getting paid, which was the topic.

No, it isn’t as simple as salaries (at least when discussing future work). But I already dissected why that isn’t a problem in this instance. Either its contract work and they got something extra they weren’t supposed to, or BO3 was uber successful and they’ll be kept on for BO4. They can’t be affected negatively at this point. Only ATVI could be, and they have more than enough backlog cash (and that’s assuming you even want to support them, which most around here say they don’t want to but its a necessary evil to support Treyarch, but I just went through the flaws in that point).

          • Jack Morris

or they could be reasonable and nice and give it to those who payed for dlc.

          • Neil Welling

            Yup

        • Berd

*with all the new added content and ak-74u and m1911 you bitch

          • GCN Intensifies

            free. who said that?
but i am sure not paying 30 for this.

          • Yankeephil

Thats amazing, do you want to know what I love about capitalism and the free market, if you don’t like the price then don’t buy it. Then everyone is happy

            I’m with you Yankeephil!!!!!

        • MrEclectic68

Can anyone help it that you have to choose between buying your next crack fix or buy the map pack or that you might actually have to get off your ass and get a job to be able to buy it face it you’re just jealous !!!!!!!!

        • KaRiZMa

Your stupid as fuck why are you getting mad a people for supporting content from a game they love your pathetic bruh grow up don’t pay if you don’t want to and play the maps on crummy graphics and old system they could care less but Treyarc didn’t need to release these remastered maps Infinite warfare is the cod this year meaning content should be brought by activision but treyarc cares about all the support that they’ve been given they decided to give us these maps the fact your mad about that means you don’t really care about the company that made the game and the zombies that you played so take your unsupportive, broke ass out of here if your gunna be toxic af to people who give a shit

          • Sir Strikes A Lot

I don’t think you understand what he really meant. You see, he is outraged only because he thinks the price is BS, not because people want to buy the dlc.

      • I Don’t Read Replies

& was cheaper when it 1st launched.

      • DoubleT

you mean their parents paying the $60 right? only a fucking child would defend activision at this point.

        • Yankeephil

While you may still live in your parents cellar begging them to buy you things. I’m a grown ass man with my own money that buys things I like. If you don’t like the price, don’t buy it, your bitching and moaning and trolling is not going to lower the price, so why bother?

          • DoubleT

lol nice projection there buddy, nobody is bitching about anything but you.

      • Peewy 978

        I doubt it

      • Daniel Laverick

I preordered it it was worth the 30 euro i payed

      • Dalton LaMore

It would b less if u think about it cuz 20 liquid divinium is worth about 10 dollars so if u were to add that as well each map is probably under a dollar. But I would pay $60 I agree with that part

      • Sir Strikes A Lot

I wish you people can remember that not everyone can pay $30 for an expansion. Some are barely keeping their heads above the water, and you go and shame them for it.

        • Yankeephil

If they can not afford it, they should be focusing on more important things than worrying about buy pixels for a video game

    • Frosty Shark

Yes, that price is insanely GOOD.

To those who complain about the price, don’t buy it. This expansion wasn’t intended for you. Any true Treyarch fan would easily pay double for it.

      • BradyAlucard

You make absolutely no sense whatsoever. $30 isn’t the end of the world but people’s complaints aren’t any less valid than the ones who are defending the price.

        • MrEclectic68

          Thank you Dr Phil

          • BradyAlucard

Batmetal is cool… your trolling isn’t.

          • Jeremy

I’ve been a zombies fan since the world at war days. I have bought every dlc and map pack. Why the fuck is it 30 dollars! This is more of a slap to the face then anything. Like Seriously! I spent hundreds on call of duty but This is more of a slap to the face. If this was truly for the fans it would be free. Especially if you own the season pass.

          • Michael Hassert

Dude. It’s thirty dollars for eight map packs!
            Eight!
When you get the season pass you’re paying fifty dollars for four! If you’re complaining about paying thirty dollars for eight maps. Then you are also complaining for paying fifty dollars for four.

          • Michael Hassert

And if you have been playing zombies since world at war, then you should know that thirty dollars is a win. We should be paying one hundred dollars. Take it or leave it.

          • Neil Welling

4 map packs of 4 multi player maps and 1 zombie maps 5×4=20 maps for 50 dollars but I’m still gonna buy zombie chronicles u know how many times I turn on 360 to play those maps lol

          • rabbo420

Its just there way of keeping you on there servers.

      • I Don’t Read Replies

No it wasn’t intended for intelligent people. It was intended to make little Frosty Shark and the other sheeple out there to use mommy & daddys debit card to repurchase old content.

        • asdsaasd

It’s a whole remaster, you’re acting like they lazily ported it from it’s respective games.

        • MrEclectic68

Wow bitter are we? Or should I say jealous! Besides you made a completely false staement! Yes they are previously released maps but with new and remastered content and while you’re bitching about it and feeling sorry for yourself I’ll be having a great time playing Zombies Chronicles!!!

      • Peewy 978

        Treyarch Dick Rider Alert!!

      • Fuckyou101

Suck a sack of baby dicks bitch

      • Jack Morris

You’re an idiot. I’ve bought the zombies maps in bo1 and the seasons pass for both bo2 and bo3. I shouldnt have to pay in order to play with the god damn kn-44 and dingo. The old guns are WAY better anyways. Treyarch is shoving its hand up its ass, throwing the shit down, and sprinkling some nice pink glitter all over it to get more of the community’s money. Not mad. You’re just an idiot.

        • Reilly DuHaime

Alright, think of it this way. add the costs of each map together. 105 bucks. then think about the liquid divinium you get. then think about the maps all being remastered. then think about the camo. then think about over 100 bucks worth of content for thirty bucks. then stop being a little bitch.

          • Sir Strikes A Lot

Really? This is why you think it should be $30? Lemme put it to YOU this way: both nacht and kino were FREE maps, yes, FREE. So, youre already paying a fourth of the price on free stuff. Plus, if we actually do some math, every zombies map from blops 1 and 2 will be three dollars, and WAW will be two dollars. So, that equals to $16. However, adding interest only bumps it up to $20. ALSO, I may be wrong on this, but weren’t waw maps free on pc? If thats the case, then lower the price even further for pc owners to around $15 with interest. So, what were you saying about the price being justified?

          • Troika Trolling

As someone who have [email protected] on the pc, I can say that yes, the maps are free.

          • Sir Strikes A Lot

            Thanks, wasn’t sure, lol.

        • Neil Welling

They told you 4 map packs they gave you what they promised

    • kia0525

It really quite is, newcomers will justify the price which is perfectly fine but the ones who had played on the older systems will complain lol.

      • MrEclectic68

Speak for yourself I have bought all of the COD games (paid for by me) and all season passes since available and have no problem at all paying for this one! Any true zombies fan would and would be proud to do so!!!!

        • kia0525

I guess true zombies fans like getting finessed.

        • mynigamynigga

paid with your wellfare check i bet cus you sound autistic asf.

      • KaRiZMa

im not complaining ive already preordered it for ps4 its pretty simple why would I play on old consoles when all the defining maps that were on old consoles, for me at least, are getting remastered

    • Aj Webb

Considering people pay $15 for DLC for just one zombies map sometimes when they don’t have a season with $30 you’re getting eight maps new gum liquid divinium and new PAP camo the PS4 thing well I don’t know how it’ll translate to the Xbox

      • IdiotsEverywhere

people dont pay $15 for the zombie map… DLC’s come with 4 multiplayer maps too. I mean im all for the $30 map pack but jesus when my side looks like morons i can see why they’re getting attacked by the money krabs

    • Hitoshi Oshiro

Why not include the new DLC with the season pass, so the Game’s Season Pass is obsolete now after my countless hours of playing. That’s why i haven’t bought a Call of Duty since this game supposedly ended, because the content is the same and i’ll regret buying a season pass for a game every year to end up with a DLC that isn’t added into the mix. I’d only play the DLC maps once or twice each since i’ve already played them in the past if i decided to buy the extra maps. I see no point in doing that though.

    • Rorke File

+ I see no swastika’s that’s sad to be honest.

    • Scott

you think thats alot, i’ve gotta pay $45 for this…I am still gonna buy it though

    • Peewy 978

Tell me about it Damn!! SMH

    • Bob Ross

Hey douchebag that is an amazing price for these maps bc if you went back to the old games they would cost 12.99 each but these are remastered and look freaking amazing

      • Vikrant Singh

“if you went back to the old games they would cost $12.99 each” lmao where

      • Herbz 4 Breakfast

Old games didn’t have DLC. DLC is a scam, unless it’s free. Period, no matter which company makes it

    • ghg

      45$ in Australia dont bitch

    • Allen Bainez

Why does it say expansion pack requires

      • Allen Bainez

        I just bought it

        • Allen Bainez

          Can. U help me out

    • Cristhiam cabrera

i paid full price game that came with the consule i bought the season pass i just thought it would come in with the season pass i might sound like a bitch but idk i was hoping i wouldn’t have to buy i just bought it i just hope the online match making doesn’t drop quickly otherwise i will regret the purchase.

  • matt

Blundell calls it a “love letter to the community”. First time I’ve ever had to pay $30 for a love letter. I wasn’t expecting it for free but a maximum of $20.

    • Skirmantas Aleknavicius

Same. 20$ should have been the price. Nacth der untoten, verruckt are barely a maps.

      • Michael Romo

$15 for the og 4 WAW maps + Moon was the original price.

I’m sure it’s inflated over time and because it’s Remastered. You’re stupid.

        • What you looking at?

Stop defending it like you suck activisions cocks…

          • Michael Romo

I’m defending the price, not Activision

          • BradyAlucard

You’re defending a business decision made by Activision. If that’s not your intent, then it’s not evident.

          • Michael Romo

Ok, then sure. I’m defending Activision. BUT I’m only defending this decision, not Activision as a whole

          • BradyAlucard

What is the point of defending that position?

          • Michael Romo

I argue this point because of all the ignorant (not stupid, just ignorant) people like you who truly don’t understand that this is certainly not overpriced. If you’re saying that this is overpriced relative to the amount of money you make, then I don’t know what to tell you. You can’t afford it I guess. But you’re trying to argue that this isn’t worth $30 because it’s old? Because they’re “only” remastered? No. I’m just trying to logically explain the reasoning behind this price so everyone can understand

          • BradyAlucard

It’s your opinion, and it’s mine too, not the fact of the matter. To me, it’s overpriced and to me you’re ignorant if you think it isn’t. It’s not about income, it’s about principle and this isn’t the first time Activision has asked too much out of DLC and it’s not going to be the last. I mean… it’s rather low to stoop to talking about another man’s income in such a manner, and I know it’s priced the way it is for a reason. $30 is very expensive for DLC, especially a remastered DLC, where they’ve already asked $120 (out of me, I don’t buy the Season Pass). I’ll even predict that Modern Warfare Remastered is going to be $30 too and these are the price tags of the DLC, so it is what it is.

          • Michael Romo

I’m ignorant if I think this isn’t overpriced? First of all, I have shown no ignorance in my logic; from math to facts, I have considered everything that I need to consider, and it is logically conclusive that this may only be SLIGHTLY overpriced. Like I said, $24 dollars is the expected price, but because these were built from the ground up and multiple weapons and such were added in, it would cost a little more.

Second of all, I did not speak ill of anyone’s income; only to the extent of suggesting not getting this if you can’t afford $30, which is a reasonable price.

Third of all, let’s talk “principle” since you’re hell-bent on using that as an argument as to why this seems “overpriced”. I understand the hate behind Activision’s obscure pricing, especially with the Variety map pack, and I agree that they are greedy at times. But that’s just business; they gotta make a profit. This map pack, which was made out of love FOR THE FANS, was completely redone so that we could enjoy it as much as possible, NOT because it’s a cashgrab. This DLC was not made with ill intentions, and that much is true. Just like Crash Bandicoot N-Sanity Collection, this was made FOR the fans. If you don’t understand that, then I guess I can’t convince you any further. But honestly: $30 is seriously not too overpriced. And I haven’t seen one argument that makes me consider that it is.

          • BradyAlucard

How is it ignorant to criticize the price if it’s not ignorant to defend it? I presented logic too, however, you never stated a single fact and neither have I. Facts would require knowledge of the budget for example, which contradicts your “math”. Then again, the price isn’t a make or break for me, since I want to support this (knowing Activision gets most of the revenue) and everyone should too if they want something like this to happen again, and as I stated before we’ve paid for some of these maps for a third time now.

…which is speaking ill of one’s income. Then again, I never said I can’t afford it, and if you want an example of ignorance, well, there you go (excuses). $30 is not exactly a fair price to me since it’s $10 more than what I consider fair but again as I stated it’s not a make or break and I expected that price.

To be honest, I never even said it’s “seriously overpriced”, just that it’s moderately overpriced to the point where I’d support it anyway. I’ve told you before that I’m aware of the fact that it’s a business, however; I fully support the mere concept of this DLC and I want it to happen again, even for this price. You know what I call “the business excuse” has been used for Activision’s decisions on this site? That’s the definition of preaching to the choir, but I’ll tell you what I’ve told everyone else who has defended Activision’s obscure business decisions (they don’t even HAVE to make a profit, they’re probably the wealthiest 3rd party publisher); it’s not a good excuse. Defend it all you want and I can’t and won’t try to change your mind, but calling it a “fact” is mostly what I take issue with when it’s our mere opinion.

        • BradyAlucard

You’re seriously stooping as low as insulting one’s intelligence, especially from what you’ve been doing defending Activision? Hey, overpay for digital content, that’s your choice. Just don’t say it’s factual.

    • Remember that the studios do not set the pricing, that’s Activision’s move.

      • matt

Yes I know that, but Treyarch wouldn’t have made this without activision’s go ahead, so for Blundell to claim its because they love the community so much is bulls excrement of the smelliest kind…

        • I’m pretty sure Blundell and Vondy (infact probably the whole of Treyarch) actually do love the community, Blundell has always loved his job and has been extremely passionate about zombies as a whole, so y es, his claims to have done it because he loves the community is not just “bull”.

Of course they most likely needed Activision’s go ahead, but regardless they do not set the price and neither could they have potentially changed the pricing themselves, it’s Activision’s choice and will never be the studios choice or place to price the games they develop.

        • ConorGamingzHD

Not everything is free in life.

          • What you looking at?

we arent expecting ANYTHING free,we was just expecting 20 dollars… now thats a very fair price.

          • Michael Romo

BO1 DLC 4 cost $15 for 5 zombies maps. That means $3 per map. $3*8 is $24, but we have to account for the fact that these are remastered maps with stuff that took months to remake. So $6 more is fair.

            Quit being a penny pincher

          • BradyAlucard

            “Penny pincher”

I guess if you want to defend overpricing content, then yeah. Business or not Season Pass is a rip-off in comparison to what Battlefield has done with Premium. At least you get weapons in that game. Look, I’m not arguing about what’s in the maps, but the amount that we’re paying for. Let people complain.

          • What you looking at?

            Agreed man..

Now again, i will still buy its couse its cod but atleast im not defending it..

          • Michael Romo

If we were to overestimate the original price, each map would be worth $5, which means that $40 is overpriced for this map pack.

Simple math. Not hard to understand.

          • BradyAlucard

So you’re actually, genuinely saying they’re doing us a favor charging for maps we paid for nearly 10 years ago? I understand charging $60 for NEW maps but half that for old maps with a new coat of paint? Not damage control worthy.

          • Michael Romo

This isn’t a port. They had to remake EVERYTHING

          • BradyAlucard

You sure it’s literally EVERYTHING? I’m pretty sure some of the work they’ve done is up-res the textures (pretty high quality, mind you, just not quite equal to BO3, at least as far as a couple of the maps go in terms of rendering), maybe up the polycount a little bit, and add some Black Ops 3 PBR/etc. materials. It’s not lazy work, but it’s not like they’re remaking every texture from the ground up, unless I’m wrong on that once it’s detailed in the livestream (I’d edit my comment then).

          • Michael Romo

Even so, that’s months of work that they have put in since last year. If it were truly as simple as you’re describing it, they could’ve made this in a month

          • BradyAlucard

Not what I’m trying to say, actually. AAA game development is a lengthy process whether it’s a new game or a remaster/remake. Maybe I’m oversimplifying the BO3 engine because I don’t know everything about game engines, but remastered content takes half the work of new content. I may be wrong, and professionals can correct me, but it’s rather simple to increase the resolution of a texture, what takes time is the artwork of the texture itself.

Then again, you have to factor in shaders and such, but it’s not as hard as you’re describing it, either.

  • rw

AHAHAHAH 29$ to play backward retrocompatible maps in Xbox one

    • What you looking at?

true for xbox its not worth it.. for ps4 players like me hmmm idk tbh

    • xboxisdead

They not remasted on xbox backwards compatible and play like complete shit

      • What you looking at?

So im paying 30 bucks for more graphics wich i dont give a fuck about?

        Lol

Mate.. atleast they should have remade the OLD weapons man…anyways i will still buy it couse its cod lmao

        • Frosty Shark

          “Don’t care about graphics…”

          LMFAO!!!! Sure buddy,

I still play BO1/2 zombies on my ps3, yes the graphics are still pretty good. The mechanics and gameplay aren’t the smoothest but still impressive. However when I play BO3 on my PS4 the difference is astonishing. Colors and field of depth. The audio is crisp and enveloping. But hey, you don’t care about that stuff right?

    • ay

But to get those maps on xbox one you have to pay 15 dollars for one dlc and in one dlc you only get one map

      • Ezjay

Moon came with the waw maps so yeah…

    • Frosty Shark

Enjoy the old gen graphics and features. lmfaoooooo!

      • Tarantula

Just saying the maps are remastered meaning that the graphics are all new and improved with the features being redesigned. This is basically a new game fore people who haven’t played them in the past

        TL;DR

Everything is redone and new, Not old

    • Ult1mateCarnage

no not really xbox sucks dick anyways

      • PS4 smells like shit

        • Michael Romo

          #GameSphereMasterRace

        • MrEclectic68

Xbox eats it and asks for more lmfao!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    • W1LL1AM04

      Dat Remastered doe

  • Masked monkey

Well priced honestly I was expecting it to cost 40 lol

  • Ps

its 29.99 for fuck sake, its not even that much. CoD fans will never be happy.

    • BradyAlucard

It’s rather pricey, actually, but that’s all I have to complain about, really. Nothing else other than some things here and there.

  • I still kinda feel that they should release the maps for individual purchase, now that would be sick, being able to purchase only the maps you want to have individually.

  • Total money grab…How about a free expansion pack for the millions who bought all your games and dlcs…That’s how you take care of your base…Hope all the ps4 guys are buying this..cause im sure most xbox one people wont or shouldnt

    • darren

If you buy a car, does that car company buy your gas for you? Get the fuck over it.

    • Michael Romo

      Idiots. Idiots everywhere.

And yes I’m talking about you

      • BradyAlucard

How does that make him an idiot? He’s got a point.

  • If only they’d put in this much effort with the non-zombies season pass DLC

  • Tested

$30 is way overpriced, $30 should get you a full game remastered. Also gobblegum is in new maps so not buying it. Money whores, Not buying cod ww2 either now.

  • Pau Serra

    WTF…. 30€ so fucking expensive….. why activision ?

    • ConorGamingzHD

      It’s not.

      • What you looking at?

it is for just Remastered maps.. i dont give a single fuck how much remastered maps im getting most of these maps are meh anyways.

even tho im gona buy it anyway couse im a cod fan..but its still expensive!

      • BradyAlucard

        It is.

        • ConorGamingzHD

One Zombie map was £11.99. This is for 8 MAPS!

          • BradyAlucard

8 OLD MAPS! I don’t think it’s so overpriced that it shouldn’t be supported, though.

  • Batman

    The price is okay

  • tarheels_forever

im not a huge zombies fan but i thought about getting this anyway if didnt cost too much. but $30.00, no thanks.

  • disqus_GcE6T2rVAg

Pay 60.00 for the game and 49.99 season pass so this should go with it for the price

  • Joseph Mirabal

60 for the game 50 for the season pass and now 30 more for dlcs that were already back in another games? smh

    • Siftblade

Half the season pass DLC maps are remasters and people love them

      • BradyAlucard

Not all of them, I hear complaints from time to time, especially of the maps that are remastered.

        • Siftblade

Well usually people complain because MP features ruin old maps

  • Epicsand

    Gobblegums ruined zombies.

    • BradyAlucard

In what way? They’re not too overpowered.

      • Epicsand

They feel like a cash grab.

        • BradyAlucard

Oh. I personally don’t let it bother me, but I do wish they could have updated it to the Extinction formula, as in transfer Multiplayer Supply Drops to Dr. Monty’s Factory and Newton’s Cookbook, for example.

      • Jon Jackson

Well perkaholic is overpowered, but the rest of them are fine.

  • Siftblade

Fine by me. If I wanted to play these maps right now, I would either have to buy a PS3 (which is still $100+) because my old one broke. Or, since I own the games on PC but no DLCs there, I would have to buy all the old DLCs seperately, which are $15 each and it would be around $100 again. Or I could buy this remastered collection that has all my favorites but with better graphics. Sounds good to me personally.

  • Luis Gomes

    Nazi Flag Censored in Kino???
    GET THAT SH%% OUTTA HERE!

  • tarheels_forever

being that the variety map pack costs 30 dollars for 4 remastered maps, i should have seen this coming. i think activision has overtaken ea as the most greedy gaming company.

    • tarheels_forever

      i meant 15 dollars.

    • Dickmissle

      you know who 2k is?

      • kia0525

Them OP my team cards lmao.

    • MrEclectic68

Wow you’re so lazy you couldn’t even take the time to get your facts straight cause it’s $30.00 for 8 remastered maps and yes all of them are remastered !!! I’ve been playing zombies since world at war

      • MrEclectic68

First came out and after seeing game play in Nacht they did a lot of work! They are not going to be the same maps as with ps3 versions!

  • Joshwoocool
    • Michael Romo

      Probably MX Garand or something

  • Michael Romo

For everyone commenting that the price is not fair:

DLC 4 for BO1 cost $15 for 5 zombies maps, therefore each map was worth $3 APPROXIMATELY. Let’s just give it an interval of $3-$5 since we can only overestimate by so much (never underestimate when predicting price unless you have percentages and statistics). $3*8=$24 and $5*8=$40, so we can assume that FOR 8 REMASTERED ZOMBIES MAPS, the price would be between $24 and $40 ($40 being an overestimate, or “overpriced”). And because complex maps like Origins, Moon, Shangri-La, and Ascension were remastered, I’d say that 6 more dollars than the expected price is fair.

As for the season pass, here’s what is guranteed by Activision: “Call of Duty(R): Black Ops 3 Season Pass is your access to four exciting DLC packs. Game sold separately.” And that came straight from the Call of Duty website. They never guranteed that ALL DLC would be a part of the season pass, only 4 map packs (and a few SMALL extras that they added in later as a further reward for having the season pass). So swallow your pride and just cough up the $30. Be grateful that they even did this for us.

    Fuckin’ penny pinchers bother me…

    • BradyAlucard

So you’re going to defend it… why?

      • Michael Romo

Because of all the idiots complaining about the $30. It’s a fair price. Honestly, I overestimated and predicted $40, but $30 is certainly fair. Everyone always wants to complain about quantity and never consider quality.

        • What you looking at?

I would consider 30 fair if we got 7 remastered maps with 1 new map not 8 remastered maps…

Imo 20 or THE MAX 25 is fair. and dont just say 5 isnt alot…

          • BradyAlucard

This. How anybody can defend this is beyond me. I never thought I’d see the day where consumers defended the businessmen.

          • Michael Romo

It’s basic math. Or did you fail algebra?

          • BradyAlucard

What an ignorant way to defend Activision. That doesn’t excuse anything, if you’re just going to resort to insults then I’m done here, go ahead and defend them all you want.

          • Michael Romo

I’m not defending Activision; I’m defending the price

          • just chill`

The price beats the variety map pack any day.

          • BradyAlucard

By the logic that’s been used here the Variety map pack is “more than fair”. /s

          • Qaotik

When you have people that attack others for their decisions, what do you think is going to happen?

          • BradyAlucard

            Explain.

          • Qaotik

It should be obvious considering that you are saying that defending certain business decisions/men is bad. News flash: if you criticize someone’s idea, then of couse they’re going to defend them. It doesn’t matter if you agree with them or not, what you said doesn’t advance the conversation because it doesn’t challenge his argument.

You’re attacking the character, not the argument and the premise will remain true unless you make a legitimate counter-argument.

          • BradyAlucard

Who are you to say my counter-arguments are illegitimate? There’s nothing factual about what has been said here on both sides. News flash; sheep arguments aren’t arguments.

          • Qaotik

Did you not read? It isn’t legitimate because what you’re doing does nothing to the argument. His argument is that it’s a fair price because each map would cost about as much as a regular DLC map. Shitting on him with labels and other nonsense doesn’t make his point less true and I don’t see where you’re going with it.

It goes to show that you’re not listening, and if you’re not going to listen, then why on earth should we value what you have to say? And if these aren’t arguments, then why are you here in the first place?

          • BradyAlucard

Yes I can read, and obviously it wasn’t a fact, unless you weren’t intending to imply that? Sure, it’s “fair” in your opinion and that’s perfectly fine but I don’t know how your points make mine any less “true” either; and what was so “truthful” about his points? Maybe you just simply disagree with me and agree with him and that’s that, and there’s no problem with it whatsoever? In my opinion, you got to be more specific on what “weak” points I made because I made them very clear, and I even stated that the pricing isn’t the worst thing in the world.

You’re implying that comments sections are ONLY for arguing – however, I’m not implying that they’re not for arguments; I was referring to “arguments” as in the heated and insulting part of its definition – as in, I wanted a respectful discussion. That wasn’t my intentions and if you that’s not what your intentions were then I apologize. Anyway, I don’t get your point here either; why should I value what YOU have to say over myself if you’re not going to listen to MY point of view? That logic doesn’t make any sense to me.

Again I apologize if I repeat myself but what you’re forgetting to point out is the fact that they’re remasters, which cost far less than the standard run-of-the-mill AAA budget, and the fact that a lot of us paid for 3 of the maps more than 2 times; so – logically speaking – your point about it costing “about as much” as a regular map pack is flawed because of the notion that they’re handling it in a different manner as well as on a different budget (whatever that may be). What you’re trying to tell me is that 8 remastered map packs are worth the same as 2 map packs, which makes absolutely no sense to me, but I want to make my point very clear – if supporting this means that the developers will continue doing this from here on out, then I’m perfectly okay with it; what I’m not okay with is the price because I’ve paid for them before and in my mere irrelevant opinion I’m entitled to at least a discount. Is that not reasonable?

          • Qaotik

Thank you for answering some of your own questions. You acknowledge that the maps would be worth 2 regular map packs, which was the main point of the other guy. It’s a legitimate point that you responded poorly to. It’s not that your argument wasn’t valued because you acted disrespectfully, it’s that your disrespectfulness WAS the argument.

When you say “How anybody can defend this is beyond me. I never thought I’d see the day where consumers defended businessmen” as a point, it’s not doing anything to the discussion other than turning people away. It’s making a point about the person, not the argument itself and it makes even less sense considering that you said this is no big deal. In other words, it’s uncalled for.

And now that you did mention why you personally think the map pack should cost less, it’s good to point out that it too isn’t very good. Just because what you feel doesn’t mean what they’re doing is fair. It’s not like a resurrection-esqe remaster or simple MP maps. It involves updating the zombies such as their textures, behaviors, and then the maps and their easter eggs have to be updated and the list goes on. That’s all there is to it

          • BradyAlucard

That’s your opinion. Are you implying that his point was more legitimate than mine was and that I was being disrespectful? In my opinion your comments are pretty disrespectful too, not in ways that are too insulting but saying that I didn’t make a good point by ironically poorly elaborating on why said point was “poor”. And your point on it costing as much as two regular map packs… it’d be different if they weren’t remastered or, well, it should be at least, but what do we know? As I’ve stated before, we have no idea how much this costed Activision or even if it was as costly as a regular individual map pack, let alone two of them.

Isn’t that what you’re doing by saying my arguments are “poor”? You’re attacking the person, not the argument itself because you haven’t explained it in detail. The main point – in case you have been paying attention to the full context – WAS me attacking the argument and I didn’t mean it in an uncalled for manner. In fact, the vast majority of the points that were made back and forth were actually respectful, if not all of them. To me, defending billion dollar businesses is a big deal – especially when it has been done on this site as many times as it has – the comment you’re referring to was actually quite tame and it was really the only comment I made while being annoyed because I thought I was the one being insulted (but found that that wasn’t really the case).

It’s merely what I feel, and I’ve never said otherwise (especially on the implication that I’m saying the DLC itself isn’t fair when that’s not the case, I’m saying it’s only the price that isn’t fair and I’d support it no matter what so that it’d happen again). And in terms of the Rezurrection point… it’s actually rather similar, but you’re correct when you said that it took more work; but the fact that they’re simply touching up on graphics – since the current features of the engine already exist and it’s like flipping a switch, really – since even though they are also creating new assets and textures for some things, it still doesn’t really seem fair enough to charge the price of one pack for the price of two, especially when I’ve already paid $150 for them on top of another $20 for Rezurrection. Surely you can at least see where I’m coming from; I’m not saying it doesn’t make sense, I’m saying it’s not as difficult so that price isn’t as logical as what’s been said.

          • Qaotik

Man, all I can say right now is that just because you bought previous content doesn’t entitle you to get a discount on future content

          • BradyAlucard

We’re entitled to do whatever we want as consumers. Why are we not? *It’s literally the same map prettied up*.

          • Qaotik

Not exactly. You’re just that: a consumer. All you’re doing is buying the product of a company that wants to make a profit. Just because you feel like the maps are just prettied up doesn’t take away from the fact that some people had to go in and update the maps for this game, whether it may be textures or zombie physics.

          • BradyAlucard

I know it’s 21 days later, but if you can’t grasp what I’m saying, then it’s best to say: to each their own. Seriously, this all was coming from someone who’s spent literally in the HUNDREDS for these maps in the past; all I was saying was that you should at least try to see it in my perspective and what the best option for the consumer is. Consumerism is NOT meaningless.

        • BradyAlucard

Fair price? Quality? What? LOL oh come on now.

          • Hawkzy

The team made this possible. The least we can do is pay them.

          • BradyAlucard

Activision gets the most money but you’re right.

          • Banjo Bill

You make it seem like the devolopers are doing this out of the kindness of these hearts. In reality they arent they need money so they resort to something they know is going to sell. If they really were doing this out of the kindness of there hearts they would give it for free. I don’t care myself about paying for it but the fact that people make Activision and treyarch seem like saints for doing this is my problem, cmon people say it like it is

          • Michael Romo

You have to consider what you are getting and how much work was done to make it. Like I said, $24 is the predicted price, $40 is overpriced, and $30 lies closer to $24

          • Sean Watts

There was no work put into them, you could have had one guy sitting there doing the side project just making the maps “HD” for the last 2 or 3 months. THERE IS NO NEW CONCEPTS

      • Frosty Shark

I’ll defend it because this is what we asked for.

Treyarch team did this one for the fans first and foremost. They didn’t have to put this out but they did because we, the community, begged for it. Anyone complaining about the price is just hearing about it now and weren’t part of the movement to begin with.

$30 for 8 fully remastered maps, THIRTY DOLLARS. That’s about half a tank of gas which would last me a few hours of driving. This expansion is going to give me hours upon hours of fun-filled game time.

No one complains about $5 per map dlc and this is $3.75 per map. Seriously stay away if you complain about the price. I’d hate to run into you cheapskates in a public lobby since you probably are too cheap to even open doors. lol

        • Michael Romo

Lol I bet these people would pay $3.75 for a milkshake, but not a freaking Zombies map

          • Jon Jackson

If you could buy each map separately, I would probably do that. Moon and Origins are the only two maps worth paying for imo since the rest were basically remastered in Revelations.

          • Michael Romo

Lol Origins was part of Revelations. And Ascension, Kino, and Moon weren’t in Revelations. And a BUNCH of added guns from these maps weren’t in Revelations either

          • Dickmissle

            kino was jackass

          • Michael Romo

Ok. No need for the “jackass” tho…

          • Jon Jackson

You know what I meant. Some of the maps were in Revelations. My point is why basically pay $30 for something that’s already in the game?(Besides the addition of a FEW weapons.) You know most people are gonna play Origins and Moon most of the time anyway because they are arguably the best two maps in the DLC.

          • John Doe

            1. It’s on a whole new engine so it will look amazing

            2. Not every map was remastered on revelations

            3. They didn’t promise this

So you can stop acting so bitchy, if you really want this DLC, man up and get it

            God damn dude

          • John Doe

Lmao you can do SO MUCH with this new DLC! I have no idea why people complain over this shit. Like honestly! If your not planning to buy it, then why argue? You can re- live almost every Easter egg (Other than the WaW maps, MOTD, and CATD). A milkshake only last you for a couple of hours anyways…

          • doubleT

lmao nigga instead of spending 30 on dlc maps you should spend that money in trying to get your ugly ass laid, just sayin.

        • BradyAlucard

Ugh… Another person defending Activision and throwing childish insults for no reason. We’re still playing the maps and we’re not affecting you in any way.

Yes, it is what we asked for, and I’m happy to support Treyarch and they really didn’t have to do this, but defending the price is absurd. Maybe it’s out of love for the maps I don’t know, but $30 is steep, just like how $1.99 is steep for Supply Drops. I’m not trying to belittle the developers, I just think Activision asks too much money out of us, that’s all. I expected the $30 price point and I still feel it’s a bit much, especially since I’ve never seen CoD non-Supply Drop DLC for sale on console.

You forgot to add in that there’s people out there who has paid for every Zombies content available, like me, and if you were one of those people you’d know that in this DLC you’d be buying the World at War maps for a THIRD. TIME. It’s not about being a cheapskate, it’s about principle, and your math doesn’t add up because you don’t factor in budget and it’s just a silly argument anyway. Heck, it doesn’t even make me a cheapskate, come on, you’d have to damage control real hard in order to defend such an overpriced DLC. Let people complain any way they want.

          • Michael Romo

The last time they gave us the WaW maps, they weren’t really changed at all. That was pretty much a copy and paste. ALL of these maps had to be built from the ground up. Blundell said this in the Treyarch Livestream.

          • BradyAlucard

Yes, which you were right about so thank you for correcting me; but the WaW maps were not copy and paste. The animations were, but the maps were transferred to the Black Ops 1 engine so they have its lighting effects and so on and so forth (i.e. M1911’s reflections and so on). They just didn’t have as much work done as Black Ops 3, (just me furthering your point).

        • Sean Watts

Its like you people defending it forgot that these maps arent new content, its all old. Do you pay full price for a used car? No. If there was any new content (Dont say gobblegum is new content) id pay the price. I didnt even mention the fact that Activision Remasters are the only Remasters charging for DLC. I play both PC and Console, when Activision took over Blizzard (you prob didnt even know that) WoW and all subsequent games turned to shit over time. Added pay to reach max level almost instantly, content was being pushed out for deadlines, etc. They just want money and thats it.

          • Michael Romo

Remastering these took time and money and effort. Your basically saying that, if they put out the same content, it should be free. False. This took work to do.

          • Sean Watts

You could have had these done with a team of 3 people in less than 2 months. How many times do i need to explain old concepts and new concepts to you? The maps are worth the money when they first release because its new concepts (some team had to sit there and imagine the whole map, layout, look, easter egg, etc) The remake maps are ALREADY thought up, so where is the money going for the time of the thought process? or the time to think of these ideas? They are just making up for Infinite Warfare DLC sales, anyway they can. (Notice how everyone is talking about old content dlc more than the next new map pack for IW)

          • Chocobooo!

Why are you complaining? Oh, you already owned them on old-gen consoles? Then don’t buy it. Plug-in your old PS3/Xbox 360 and insert your WAW/BO1/BO2 discs and play. There you go. Have fun!

          • Sean Watts

Not worth the price tag is what im getting at. 30 Bucks is almost 2 current content (AND HOLY JESUS NEW CONCEPTS!!!!!!!!!) DLCs. For old content? New DLCs have a HELL of alot more time put into them, why arent they more money by your logic? They are just trying to make up for tanking DLC sales. If you ask me this side project was prob started after the first DLC for IW sales was seen. Seems about the same timeframe to to do it with a small ass team too lol. 2 or 3 months after the dlc it was announced right? Too convenient?

    • Killian

Michael Romo, the thing you have to understand is that people are going to argue the price regardless especially when the majority of the argument comes from kids with no money and consumers with a low amount of spending money. Price makes sense but picky consumers will fight tirelessly for lower prices anyways and CoD has been noted to have (by FAR) the pickiest consumer nasr in the entire video game industry. 30$ is fair but let the consumers complain so we can get more sales and discounts 🙂

      • Michael Romo

Yeah. 🙂 Plus, Blundell and Vonderhaar have done so many things for the community as a whole. I don’t see anyone from DICE going out and talking to their BF fans just because

        • Ray’

          Someone’s on that blundell D

          • Michael Romo

It’s a fact. He’s one of the only game developers who actually talk to the community and constantly gives to them. I favor him as a game designer, yes.

          • Ray’

There are many. Its because you only seek out their interviews. The developer loves you so much that they copy pasted old maps and are charging you a ridiculous amount. They love you so much in fact that your favourite weapons are locked behind supply drops. Cuck

          • Michael Romo

Vonderhaar never agreed with the supply drops. And Blundell only made this DLC for the intent of giving something to the fans. That said, why does it matter to you? If I favor these developers, how does it affect you?

        • Jon Jackson

Yet I don’t see Treyarch/Activision making all DLC free(weapons included) for their season pass holders. Unlike DICE and Battlefield. “Blundell and Vonderhaar have done so many things for the community as a whole.” Except the fact that Vonderhaar lied over and over again about supply drops.

          • Michael Romo

Vonderhaar never agreed with supply drops

          • Jon Jackson

Lol I believe he’s the one that said supply drops would be cosmetic only.

          • Ray’

Yeah totally. A random leaked source makes total sense. Vondehaar definitely loves you and prefers to work unpaid

          • Ray’

Were you in the boardroom when vondehaar said he disagreed with all the money he would get from supply drops.it’s not just Activision making money from supply drops.

Don’t claim to know things which you can’t prove. None of the developers a grieving over the money they make from supply drops.

And yes it bothers me when fools defend anti-consumer practices. Because little babies like you cant earn the best camos etc in game everything is pay to win now

          • Michael Romo

No, I wasn’t. But a while back, a source leaked that Vonderhaar intended on keeping SDs cosmetic and the weapons were an Activision decision

          • Ray’

A random “leaked source” gg kid. Great job, that’s all the evidence you need.

In other leaked news, blundell is santa and cures cancer in young children.

          • Michael Romo

And where’s your proof that these are anti-consumer practices? Good God you’re ignorant

          • Ray’

Having a fully price game, a full priced season pass, loot items that people have been unable to obtain after spending hundreds of dollars.
And then releasing additional dlc not included with the season pass.

If that doesnt fit your definition of anti-consumer, then you sir are truly bent over for Activision and 3arc.

You should probably make a half decent defense of your case, or are you just going to resort to name calling me ignorant?

          • Michael Romo

            “Additional DLC”

Exactly. They never promised you this DLC. How is this anti-consumeristic?

        • Ian

yeah like sell em a ps3 BO3 that had a total budget of $50 that they sold for $50 a copy and then refused to offer an kind of upgrade option for so if you were stupid enough to buy the ps3 version you had to buy the game twice to play on ps4 (btw which I did not do but thought about to play with some of my ps3 only friends, thank GOD I didn’t) fyi it’s not because there saints they are attention whores duh!

        • anon13457

he is sucking that big cod cock for free, let the retard be.

    • Wizga

In euros it’s 27.44. Pretty sure it’s going to be higher. Maybe 30€. And for me that is a lot of money. SO I find this DLC expensive. Since these are remastered maps, this DLC should be cheaper. And that bonus stuff should be free anyway.

      • Michael Romo

If you can’t afford it, don’t buy it. $3.75 USD per map ain’t that much in general. You’d pay that much for a milkshake. And yeah, the bonus stuff is bonus because they’re kind and actually enjoy making this stuff

        • Wizga

Of course I’m not going to buy it. Only hardcore zombie fans are going to. As a PC user I can easily just play old maps. But I won’t because I have played enough Treyarch zombies. Gotten sick of it.
I just stated that the price is too high considering these are remastered maps. And for some that amount of money is a lot.

    • Sean Watts

Its not penny pinching, Remastered games are ment to include all previous DLC’s, why its a REMASTER. Look up any remaster before cod’s. Hell Bioshock released a collection of ALL 3 of thier games remastered for xbox one. EVERY single one of those bioshock games came with every dlc imaginable for it. So yes, spending $30 for dlc that all they had to do was spruce up a bit (Not new map concepts) is a bit rediculous. They are testing the waters with remastered dlc to see if they can charge for that too, dont play into it, or cod will end up being micro transactions for guns next or some shit lmao

      • Michael Romo

Ok, your argument is seriously flawed.

1.) Remastering something takes time and money so of course they’ll charge you for it

        2.) BO3 isn’t a remaster, and this is extra

3.) They didn’t just spruce it up. They had to build it from the ground up (said by Blundell himself on the Treyarch Livestream) and that takes a lot of effort.

4.) COD is not going the “pay-to-win” route LMFAO. AW, BO3, and IW (especially IW) were meant to push COD to the absolute limits in order to see where they could take the series. It was getting boring, so they experimented. If you truly feel that way, I suggest you stop playing COD in general. Otherwise, swallow your pride and cough up the $30

        • Jon Jackson

“COD is not going the pay to win route.” Lmao. Where the hell have you been? Ever since AW, CoD has been nothing but pay to win. Lol I bet you’re one of the ppl that think CoD WW2 won’t have supply drops.

          • Michael Romo

I agree, AW and I can be considered pay-to-win, but the BO3 weapons were balanced. That’s the problem with AW and IW: the weapon variants made everything unbalanced. But IW had been taking key steps towards giving the weapons through challenges and such. WW2 MIGHT have supply drops, but I doubt that they’ll add in unbalanced weapons into them

          • Jon Jackson

WW2 WILL have supply drops whether we like it or not. As long as people keep buying them, Activision will keep putting them in their games.

          • Michael Romo

I’m ok with having supply drops if it’s cosmetics only

          • Jon Jackson

Im sure there will be weapons in the supply drops also.

          • Sean Watts

Lmao youre one really hopeful dude huh. Either that or a really big troll

        • Ian

listen I had every weapon in AW and most of them in BO3 and the BO3 weapons were way more unbalanced (nail gun, lmg with printable ammo com on, assult rifle with a crazy fire rate) plus unlike aw there was no way to just earn them without drops Im waiting for scorestreaks that can only be purchased in supply drops lmao but Idc anyway the breaker for me is the lack of dedicated servers or server rental program, ass netcode, super low connection requirements to join lobbies (Ie people playing with there phone hot spot), all guns basically shooting lasers ie no bullet drop or variable bullet speed, and clunky movement ( I mean all a guy wants to do is peak around a corner in 2017 nope gotta walk around the whole corner gimma break)

          • The L0ST Gamer

BO3 supply drop weapons are not unbalanced when we have the brecci

        • Sean Watts

          How is it flawed?
          1) It takes like a month of 3 peoples pay to make this, 30 bucks a pop sold, they are making a KILLING off this considering.
          2) Even if its an extra, its remastered content, all old to HD
          3) And its not built from the ground up (Refer to the definition of Old Content)
          4) Cod is going pay to win, making multiple variations for guns with diff perks, in hopes of you getting frustrated with not getting that strongest of guns from your supply to keep up with everyone else, and buying a few drops to try and get it. With how many people in the CoD community, how many people do you think did this? How much money do you think theyve made off drops? Its activison, if they are making money off it they are going to push it, make it more needed. And they did an experiment indeed, to see what people will and wont pay for. The only content experiment they did in all those series, was the jetpacklike boosts. Dont say drops were content experiments (they were money grabbing experiments) cause i know EVERYONE could have done without them and unlocked the gear+camos the old way.

      • MrEclectic68

Did mommy and daddy cut your trust fund lmfao face it you’re just one of those lazy crybabies that want everything handed to you for free! God forbid you have to pay for someone elses hard work!

    • ben wills

      “complex maps”

that were built and paid for 4-9 years ago.

      morons bother me.

    • MrEclectic68

They’re not penny pinchers they want everything for free cause then they wouldn’t have to get a job to pay for it! Lmfao

      • DoubleT

You should get your ass back to work before the walmart manager catches you fuckin around on the job, just sayin’.

  • xboxisdead

Amazing how broke people are omg 30 bucks wah wah wah like shut up if you dont have it dont buy it. If you got 30 bucks to spend buy it and stop crying

    • Ult1mateCarnage

yes mostly little kids whining about the price

      • Thanasishim

Sure, sure. It’s not like you buy every single dlc and every cod game. The only people that are “loyal” to cod are the little kids buddy.

    • BradyAlucard

All I’m hearing from you is ignorant. By your logic, just don’t listen to the complainers.

  • ToonToons22

I think it’s pretty nice that it’s a standalone game and that you don’t need actual BO3 to play it. But I think that $30 is just too much if you already own BO3 and all of its DLCs. I’m not saying that it has to be free, but there should be at least a discount for Season Pass owners.

    • Dante

It’s not a standalone though. It says at the bottom that you need Black Ops 3 to play it.

      • ToonToons22

I misread that. I thought it said “you do not need to own.” My mistake.

  • Dirty Dan

Why did they get rid of the nazi symbols

    • ToonToons22

      Maybe it’s alternate timeline Kino.

    • BradyAlucard

Might be saving that for CoD WWII. Nah, in all seriousness, I know there’s evidence that they will censor swastikas in WWII but I’m hoping that that’s just for early marketing purposes.

  • BradyAlucard

Makes sense business-wise but it’s completely overpriced consumer-wise, it wouldn’t be a problem if they had their DLC on sale. Remastered maps are definitely not worth half of an entire game but I expected this price. On a positive note, I really appreciate this gesture, as pricey as it is, I’m a Zombies fan and I was going to get it no matter what. Let’s just enjoy it.

  • Golden Cheeseburger!

id get it if I had the muns

  • That’s a fucking M14 on the wall in Shang. Oh my god, their brining the old guns back.

    • BradyAlucard

Yup. A playtester also confirmed the Mauser in Origins. Exciting day, considering.

      • ToonToons22

Are the sounds and animations still the same or are they different?

        • BradyAlucard

They should be different, as in they’ve probably made the full switch to the BO3 engine. Correct me if I’m wrong once the stream goes live.

      • Man this is gonna be greatest shit ever.

        • BradyAlucard

Yeah… I didn’t think they could do it! But the vast majority of everything is there!

  • Dr. Salim

    Moon made me hard 🙂

  • Ratchet

Why would you need bo3 to play it though?

    • Michael Romo

Because it’s on the BO3 engine

      • BradyAlucard

And Uncharted: The Lost Legacy is on the Uncharted 4 engine so I don’t understand your logic.

        • Michael Romo

It’s on the BO3 engine and it’s a lot easier to just make it a part of BO3

          • Ratchet

file size must put over a 100GB *sigh*

          • Michael Romo

Nah, cause the game itself is only 60 GB. I’d estimate around 20-40

          • BradyAlucard

Or they’re restrictive, for that reason I don’t know.

          • What you looking at?

Does anyone know when we can preload?

          • Michael Romo

Sunday/Monday. Usually a day or two before the content release

          • What you looking at?

Hmm i would prefare if we can preload like 5 days before release tbh,not that my Download speed is bad but the PS4 download speed is VERY bad. some ppl will take them 2 days to download… for me if its around 35 GB it would take me like 7 hours tho.

          • Michael Romo

Yeah. For BO3 map packs and IW map packs, you can usually pre-download the files 3-4 days or the Friday/Saturday before the Tuesday release. But you’ll have to download the update Monday night/Tuesday morning

          • What you looking at?

            oh okay thanks

          • Michael Romo

Maybe. But zombies IS a part of the game, not a game itself. And since it’s only 8 remastered maps, and doesn’t have the original movement and such, it’s not worth it to still it separately

          • BradyAlucard

They just shouldn’t call it an expansion. Expansions are completely separate from the main content itself.

  • Rafael

25 would have been a better price but whatever im still gonna buy it

  • RdJokr

Honestly… this map pack looks amazing. I only expected the texture quality to be upped, with some newfangle BO3 graphics effects added. But they went and redid so much textures it’s insane.

That said, $30 = nope. I’ll have to grab this bad boy on sale or something.

    • Michael Romo

      $30÷8 maps=$3.75 per map

That’s not that much. And The Giant was $5

      • RdJokr

Treyarch deserves money for this, I get that, but it doesn’t have any actual new map, so that’s kinda a turn off for me. $20 or $25 would be nice. But $30 is really pushing it.

        • Michael Romo

To put this in perspective, DLC 4 for BO1 had 5 zombies maps, 4 ports and one new. Let’s say that the newer one costs more to make. That means that, for a new map, the price is over $4. They had to remake a lot of textures, guns, and adjust a bunch of things for these maps, so $3.75 ain’t too much

          • BradyAlucard

Sure it is. I highly doubt this DLC costed them that much at all, your math doesn’t take budget into account, because we don’t have a clue of what the budget is. If it’s the same budget as a normal DLC (which it may be because they’re not new maps), then your math is invalid.

          • RdJokr

If we put things into perspective, Treyarch started working on this after DLC4. And it was supposedly in the works since July/August since they were done with DLC4 by the time DLC3 came out. Took them nearly a whole year to redo all the stuff in the maps here, and they look phenomenal to me. Just from looking at Moon, it’s amazing how much life it’s been given compared to the original.

That said, I think the pack could’ve been cheaper. The only reason Activision made it $30 is so that they could squeeze in 20 LD vials. Like, yeah, that’s totally what I need.

          • Michael Romo

Nah, I’d say that $30 is a fair price for 8 maps total, not including all the extras

          • BradyAlucard

Yeah… initially, I thought they were just using old assets but it’s evident that at least the graphics were completely remade from the ground up/from scratch. Now, I don’t know if that means that the entire maps were redone from scratch but it’s still impressive nonetheless. Some gameplay code is reused here and there, but that’s only to stay true to the originals. I’m very impressed and would be happy to pay $30 just to support the developers for doing such a kind gesture, and it’s not their fault that the price is so steep.

          • Michael Romo

It’s a slight overestimate. I don’t know their budget, correct, but $3.75 for a map? Does that seriously seem like much?

          • BradyAlucard

Not when you make it look small, but in the grandeur of things, yes, it’s quite a lot. I’m not going to exaggerate it though.

          • Michael Romo

Tbh, The Giant was extremely overpriced for what it was. But still: if each Remaster was $5-$6, this map pack would be $40-$48

          • BradyAlucard

We’re not even saving any money though, heck, we’ve even paid for some of these maps three times now. $20 is the fairest price, $30 isn’t awful but it’s still a huge investment. As I was saying before, it’s not about affordability of individual content, it’s also about the overall investment. It’s crazy how much money they ask of you, and what little you get for the Season Pass.

        • BradyAlucard

It really is. Not that it’s a breaker for me and I expected it, but oh man.

      • BradyAlucard

$6.00 USD. I don’t think that that’s how games and digital content are priced, by the way. Are Supply Drops fair to you? Because, in terms of math…

        • Michael Romo

Supply drops are different. They are basically like lottery tickets, where you might get something, but it’s not guranteed. I don’t support that in terms of weapons, but supply drops are fine if it’s cosmetics only.

          • BradyAlucard

I was saying that $1.99 for something so worthless is a scam.

          • Michael Romo

$1.99 for a supply drop is a scam. But a zombies map isn’t. Those two are completely different

          • BradyAlucard

I’d say it is for 3 maps that I’ve paid for three times, but the others aren’t. And, no, the two aren’t “completely” different and I made the comparison because one’s a remaster and digital content is overall worthless. I hope they sell Zombies Chronicles physically because that could be the saving grace of the price point for me.

    • BradyAlucard

I still see some last gen-like textures but at least they’re using Black Ops 3’s materials/shaders. They did a great job and I wouldn’t mind supporting them for whatever hard work they did, no matter what.

  • guestbecauseidontgiveadamn

Anyone else notice in Kino they removed all the Swastikas? I guess there’s a chance WW2 won’t have any

    • Michael Romo

Hitler is turning over in his grave right now

    • BradyAlucard

People have been saying that, and there’s evidence, but I wouldn’t rule out uncensorship for WWII yet until it’s confirmed.

  • happypants

why do they make this so complicated? why dont they just re issue the first map without all of this pack a punch and other crap?
much more fun that way,, simply survive with no objective…..

  • PoonjabMcDaddy

As if they don’t make enough millions off $upply Drop$… $30 is insane. Activion’s greed has no limits.

    • Michael Romo

$3.75 per map is a lot? Good Lord you’re cheap

  • BradyAlucard

NoahJ456 Gameplay (MP-40 not HG-40 confirmed, Sickle in Ascension, etc.):

        https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cs8z4kXRnpQ

        • PPSH-41 is supposedly in all WaW maps. Hopefully the M1927 is back in some maps

          • BradyAlucard

Yep. M1927 I’m not sure of, the M14 is in the Shangri-La image but it was also in front of the Sheiva and all of the BO3 wall guns were in their spots so yeah I don’t know. Let’s hope.

          • Hopefully the M1927 makes it to Origins because it was in the original map.

I saw that screenshot too, it looked confusing but I guess the BO1 maps are just gonna have the Galil and M16

          • Michael Romo

It will be in Origins. It’s already in the BO3 engine, so I don’t see why they wouldn’t include it

          • BradyAlucard

            And FFAR.

      • Michael Romo

        19:20 for accidental Origins gameplay

        • BradyAlucard

Yep, but I don’t think it was “accidental”.

  • Chapped

I don’t really care about the price, I’m more angry at the fact that they censored Kino. Iron cross instead of swastikas. Not that I’m a Nazi nut or anything but it adds a certain type of authenticity to the map and it shows that the developers aren’t afraid to hurt people’s feelings.

  • Wizga

There has been a lot of talk about Swastikas being censored in the next COD game WWII even though they said that game will be “historically accurate”.
It seems Swastikas has been censored in Kino map. https://twitter.com/NinjaFysh/status/861606205650857985
Is it now forbidden to use Swastikas in video games?

    • Well Black Ops 3 and Kino Der Toten aren’t historically accurate in anyway, so I see why swastikas aren’t there. Call of Duty: WWII is a different story and we’ll have to wait and see

    • Jon

      keep stirring up drama

      • Wizga

I didn’t stir up any drama. I just shared something I found on WWII reddit since some people were mad that swastikas are being censored. I ain’t complaining at all.

  • MultiplayerCop

All of you bitching about the price. Holy shit, they didn’t have to do this. Time and resources went into doing this. $30.00 is perfect. Fuck

  • Rogelio Hughes

Is every map going to have a EASTER EGG!

    • Michael Romo

Not every map. But yes, they have added in a few little things

  • Should definitely BE FREE FOR SEASON PASS HOLDERS,
Otherwise CALL OF DUTY KMA YOU RIPOFF TRASH COMPANY

    • Michael Romo

Season pass only guranteed 4 map packs

      • Its cool because #CALLOFDUTY Has become TRASH anyway
The WWII WILL be the END Of COD
        LMMFWAO

        • Michael Romo

Ok, then why are you even playing COD?

        • Jon

This kid has never played COD…..keep trolling kid.

  • Aidan

    Not worth it

  • Xoaa Icecold

People here complaining about price, that probably bought season pass for 60$.

    • Aidan

My friend gave me his. I’m allowed to complain. $30 is bullshit and you know it.

      • Xoaa Icecold

Great than dont buy it, just your opinion. Its gonna sell like crazy though.

    • GinsuVictim

Anyone paying $60 for a season pass is stupid to begin with because that’s ten dollars higher than MSRP.

  • Tayler Hammond

Considering I’ve already paid for these maps in the past, 30 bucks is WAY too steep.

  • hungryandrew

Could of picked better maps. Also, I’m not interested, I’m literally burned out from all this zombie stuff.

  • helo

the price is reasonable and fair to me and I’m definitely getting it.

  • hungryandrew

To all the morons that are saying you would pay double or more for it, you’re the reason for all this. Sheep. Lil bitches. Go suck a zombie off in the corner of the cemetery.

  • imBATMAN

“Activision also says that you do need to own Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 base game in order to play Zombies Chronicles.” OH REALLY HUH WHO WOULD’VE THOUGHT

    • GinsuVictim

Because some early rumors suggested this was a stand-alone, which quickly turned out to be false.

      • John Doe

I mean why would it even be stand alone. It’s a BO3 DLC

        • GinsuVictim

It would’ve been easy to release just a zombies collection using the BO3 engine.

  • Emre

Hahahahahahaha 35 euro’s never never i will buy this, i will insert old cods i wanna play old maps.

  • Gamerazor247

Why do I get this feeling that Liquid crap and camo is why it’s $30… nah, the price is obviously justified.

  • fankitz

    OMG!I LOVE THE NEW MAPS!

  • getsuga embrace

Anyone getting or not getting the pre-order bonuses?!

  • Fr4Y3d_3nDz

Is ‘Activision also says that you do need to own Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 base game in order to play Zombies Chronicles’ confirmed? Psn store says otherwise

    • Ratchet

Nah it says ” Call of Duty Black ops III game required to use this content, sold separately”

  • Elliot Dunn

The question I would like to know is do we need to have the other DLC installed for it too?

    • Michael Romo

No you don’t. You can play this as a separate DLC, so if you don’t have the other 4, it doesn’t matter. But there is an in-game update

  • reaperdeslayer20

Wow, this costs more than BO3 itself, for a pre owned version on PS4 it’s 24.99$ at GameStop, so now I gotta fork that out, and then this additional 30. Got dammit Treyarch, why do you have to be so good

  • Filthy Prank’d

Honestly the best part about the DLC is that you don’t need the base game to play the maps. Basically, if you don’t own BO3 or don’t feel like downloading and installing it again, you can buy 8 maps worth of DLC for $30 and enjoy your feast on zombie ass-kicking. I can’t ask anything better than that.

    • Ratchet

You need to own black ops 3

      • Filthy Prank’d

Damn, my eyes have deceived me.

  • CA

can you just download it using a season pass

    • Matthew Watts

Read the article you lazy fuck!! It says as plain as day on the third line of text.

  • Joeynshadow

I care bout the camos lmfaoooooo

  • Name

i wonder why they left out the other maps

  • Danesh Nedaie

OK, I know I’m gonna get hate for this. I don’t think this DLC should be free (obviously), but I also don’t think it should be $30, especially for season pass holders. Honestly I thing it should be $25 for non season pass holders, and $12.50 for season pass holders (or free, although I understand where they’re coming from, but still $30 is too much). Like I purchased the season pass for all the DLC maps, still probably gonna hop on board, but not a fan of what Activision/Treyarch did here.

  • Reaper

Pissed that season holders wont get it thats the whole point of being a season pass holder is to get all expansions for free also it says you dont need the base game how are you going to play a black ops 3 expansion without owning black ops 3

  • Cheesesteakwit

If it came with 4 multiplayer maps and the 8 reimagined zombie maps then it mite be worth it!! But $30 for 8 maps that I played thousands of times is ridiculous!! At least give season pass holders a discount! Maybe $20 or half price!!

  • Cheesesteakwit

All the idiots that say $30 ain’t bad for old maps are reason why we’re all in the same boat getting nickeled and dimed from Activision for every little dlc and supply drop! Cause these idiots spend the money so Activision has so many suckers why would they stop!!

    • Thanasishim

Yeah. They say that they will never ever pay for another cod game/dlc/supply drops. BUT once they come out “OMG NEW GAME ITS GONNA BE AWESOME” “DLC 5 YES! LETS ALL ACT THAT THEY ARE NEW MAPS AND PAY MONEY AGAIN!” “NEW WEAPONS? LETS BUY SUPPLY DROPS!” The cod fans are so brainwashed lmao

  • MurkN101

$30 for remastered old zombie maps? Fuck outta here. Maybe if it was $15.

  • GinsuVictim

Glad I’m not a zombies fan.

  • Jenniferwrice

  • Eddie Tupy

5 maps for 18.99 or 8 for 29.99 but they are all zombie maps? im down for that!

  • W1LL1AM04

For that price they should of remastered all the maps from WaW, Blops 1, and Blops 2

  • Aw, I thought it would be included. At least I don’t have to buy a certain edition of the game to get it though.

  • Keon Phang

Why can’t i pre order in Singapore can someone check for me

  • Louie

Is anyone else upset that they left out Call of the Dead?

  • James Cook

People complaining about the price completely disgust me, they have 0 respect for the devs and have no idea how much time and effort went into making it

    • Aidan

Not true. I, like many others, respect every developer on each team in one way or another. Each of them works extremely hard to please the fans, and while I don’t particularly enjoy Black Ops 3, I can tell that there was lots of time and effort that went into the making of the game. That being said, how much the DLC costs isn’t decided by the developers. More than likely, it’s decided by Activision, and last year, Activison made over 1 BILLION dollars from supply drops alone. They don’t NEED money. They WANT money. $30 is bullshit.

  • liam cowdell

I preordered but didn’t get the dynamic theme or the pack a punch camo wtf man i was hoping to get it

  • Savanna Robinson

With a single map at 14.99 and 49.99 for 4 on the season pack 30 is a steal for 8 MAPS

    • Therockbrothers

Yeah, let’s just forget about the 16 multiplayer maps that we got for that 50 dollars. Come on, 30 dollars. This is just a cheap cash grab, don’t try to defend these overpriced remastered maps.

  • Ezjay

To those of u complaining about price. The liquid divinium and camos already cost more then or equal to what they are asking for the dlc. Therefore you are getting a deal with this bundle. And those who say it’s a ripoff cause we already paid for them once, it’s not. These have been reimagined and designed to match the new engine with better graphics, crisp colour scheme and fixes to a lot of bugs. Not many people still have their old consoles and games, so this was the way to say thanks for picking us.

    • GinsuVictim

“To those of u complaining about price. The liquid divinium and camos
already cost more then or equal to what they are asking for the dlc”

Most people don’t buy that shit, yet they are forced to now.

  • The9tailedgamer

Ive never played any of these maps except kino, nacht, and shi no, so i might consider this, cause the same maps constantly is pretty boring

  • Cheesesteakwit

$30 for 8 old zombie maps? No PH Flopper on Ascension? WTF!! Are these maps Remastered or Reimagined? Why not put the original perks plus the new one’s!! No flopping off the steps where pH Flopper was? That’s what I remember from playing Ascension!! I will not pay $30 for 8 Reimagined maps!! Activision is always fucking something up when it comes to COD! Very disappointed in Treyarch!! I thought Treyarch was the best COD developers but know there just as bad as the rest!!

  • Cheesesteakwit

Did it for the fans, my ass!! If u did it for the fans u would put the original perks like pH Flopper in the maps that had it!! Not asking for much just keep the perks on the maps that had them!! You didn’t do it for the fans u did it for the money!!! Stop the lies and BS!! We know you did it for the 💰!!!!!! And for all the people that say ur cheap and it’s only $30!! I have the money that’s not a problem it’s the principle of charging $30 for 8 old maps that don’t even have the original perks in the maps and no discount for season pass holders plus where are the multiplayer maps that usually come with COD DLC? I’m sure more people play multiplayer over zombies!! Where is love for the multiplayer people!! And I have been a hardcore zombie player way before I got into multiplayer so don’t question my zombie credentials!!

  • Ige

To me I think chronicles should be $20 not $30. at least have an option to buy $20 that doesn’t come with the extra micro transactions stuff. I didn’t need perkaholic to destroy these maps then, I don’t need them now. Also, it’s not part of dlc season pass so it should come out on all consoles not just PS4. I know Sony has that deal but this dlc shouldn’t even exist. Treyarch should have remastered all the zombies maps from WAW-Bo2, or make a version of cod that comes with zombies and campaign only(I don’t play multiplayer at all). Possibly make it to where I can buy the zombies map only for $5 instead of spending $15 just for the zombies and never playing multiplayer. I’m getting chronicles but don’t agree with the price.

  • LoveAnime93

Its technically 2 maps packs anyway a standard 4 map dlc is around 14.99. So I’m not complaining about the price for this dlc

  • Peewy 978

They have to charge that much to make up for the losses they had on Infinite Warfare

  • Ethan Bradberry

I’ve just preordered it and none of my pre order bonus has showed up what has happened?

  • noah

do we get the liquid divinium when we pre order it or on may 16 when it releases because i didnt get anything when i pre orde
    red

  • Eddie Tupy

    cant wait to play

  • Lenz

Just a thought maybe they should of allowed a small discount of the map pack if you already hold a season pass for BO3?

  • Jdog

I tried buying it on xbox 360 and there is no option, can you not get it on 360???

  • hola

    its cheapo

  • Bryan Homeyer

I already payed for a season pass, this should be included or at a reduced price. What a bunch of bullshit.

  • Bob Mc Lovin

its actually 39.99 on psn store #bullshit

  • Connor Marren

These greedy dykes are charging 30 extra dollars for season pass players? The DLC is more expensive than the game, and the season pass covers only 1/3 of the maps. Last Call of Duty I’m getting.

  • Aidan Stevens

For 8 maps one dlc cost 15 usually with 4 map now it’s 8 the price will be ×2

  • Billy Bobbyson

Im really pissed that the Mud in these maps are insanely game ruining. You move three times slower/almost to a stop. and get this….

YOU CANT JUMP. This ruins the pack for me, they better update or esle i wasted 30

  • MayonaiseDragon YT

Hey dumbasses the content was ment for those who dont have a ps3 or xbox and didnt play those maps, and 30 for 8 maps? Thats the price of two dlcs how fucking cheap are you, you cant afford to pay 30$ for 8 maps with 20 liquid divinum and a camo thats like, over 120$ of content so shut your little fuckin fairie mouth and cough up 30$

  • Bryan Vega

I have a question. I got a Ps4 and I bought a while back Bo3 with the season pass do I have to pay in order to play the new zombie maps?

  • Will-0

The only thing that bothers is why are the other map packs free for season pass holders but the zombie chronicles are $30 for season pass holders? I’m not complaining, I’m just curious.

  • Musayyab

I have a problem I got the 20 liquid division but didn’t get the 2 gobblegum and pack a punch camo.

  • Octiediamond

I wan chronicles I seen vids

  • Octiediamond

    *want

  • Matthew Almeda

You are lieing out of your asses. I just bought the zombie chronicles without owning bo3. Well i cant play the zombie chronicles unless i fucking buy bo3

  • Bobby G

Or I could just use the backwards compatibility on my Xbox One to play all these maps and more without shelling out $30. Plus I was never really a fan of the new custom guns and gobble gun you get with the new zombies games.

  • Jason Ortiz Ricotta

when it is coming for xbox one

  • Michael

Everyone shut the f*ck up! Buy it or don’t buy it! That’s your opinion! Some people are just huge treyarch zombies fans! Some are willing to pay hundreds of dollars to play your favorite maps remastered! A lot of people payed for the giant! Modern Warfare remastered! I don’t see people arguing about them! These maps are ONLY thirty dollars! What are you guys? Poor? It’s just thirty dollars! Take it or leave it! Nobody gives a shit!

  • SmurfGuns 04

Yo In Australia it’s like 37 bucks which isn’t to bad considering your getting 8 classic zombie maps, I am proud to be getting this, plus the liquid and the gobble gums are an added bonus which make me REALLY want to get this and I suggest it to anyone else.

  • Evan Zarbo

They should let Xbox people have it with season pass because they released it early on ps4 then XBOX 1

  • Payton Hammond

Why wouldnt they in cluld it in the season pass to there loyal fans who played lots of moneyfor those maps its fu@# insane that you have to pay extra money for 8 old maps faverotes that are so dam expense why treyarch. Just WHY?

  • Roger Moore

IF the zombie chronicles isn’t part of the season pass, then you are about to get sued by yours truly. The season pass as you state on the steam page declares that all future DLC will be free. Not to mention you don’t even make DLC available for the first 5-6 months after release. I am quite sick of paying an extra 50 fucking dollars for a season pass when 90% of the time you release terrible DLC and not much either. So basically what your company has done is false advertised. • SenneF

i’m getting this pack and the game as a present for my exams :DDD im so excited i already played on pc but its too hard for me and they keep bitching about my K/D ratio when i say “gg” but anyways I’M HYPED :DDDDD

  • SenneF

what would you do 15$ for 1 zombies map and 4 trash multiplayer maps or 30$ for 8 fantastic zombie maps wich is basically more than 5 and a wayyy better price
yeah what would you do? i would buy this pack for sure
