  1. Following the original art work for Call of Duty: WWII appearing online last week, another image of what appears to be an uncropped-version of one of the images has been shared on Reddit by u/BullshitAnswer. This new image shows that Activision appears to be testing out different logo and artwork placements for a Call of Duty: WWII steelbook case, presumably for Collector’s Editions of this year’s game. This new angle of the artwork shows the text “Stronghold Steelbook” at the top. This wording links back to a leak from November 2015, which suggested that Call of Duty 2017’s codename was ‘Call of Duty Stronghold.’ Since last week’s news, IGN and EuroGamer have since confirmed with their own sources that Call of Duty: WWII will be this year’s title. Activision has not commented yet on the leaks. No information is available as of now for when to expect the reveal for this year’s game, although Call of Duty titles are usually revealed in April-May timeframe. UK Special Forces VO Pack — FREE — Head into Multiplayer combat with backup from the U.K. Special Forces VO Pack, featuring Craig Fairbrass, the voice of ‘Ghost’ from Call of Duty®: Modern Warfare 2. This tough-talking British Soldier narrates all the action, updating you on killstreaks, enemy activity and adding some extra flavor to every MP firefight. Method Man VO Pack — $3.99 — Listen up as Method Man, the legendary hip hop artist from the Wu-Tang Clan, guides you through Multiplayer combat. The American rapper, producer and actor dials up the intensity, updating you on killstreaks, enemy activity and adding some extra flavor to every MP firefight. 6. A YouTuber, “TheFamilyVideoGamers”, has posted a video of what appears to be leaked images of Call of Duty 2017 concept marketing artwork. The leaked images show that Call of Duty 2017, developed by Sledgehammer Games, will take place during the World War II era. The images above show artwork that Activision appears to be creating for promotional images and box arts. It also appears that Activision has decided to be straightforward with the naming scheme for the game and call it ‘Call of Duty: WWII’. This would be, probably, the simplest name for a Call of Duty game since before Call of Duty 4. Activision has not confirmed any of this as of now. Stay tuned. Thus far, Activision has only confirmed that this year’s title is developed by Sledgehammer and will take ‘Call of Duty back to its roots.’ SOURCE: TheFamilyVideoGamers and Reddit The post RUMOR: Art work suggest COD 2017 will be called ‘Call of Duty: WWII’ appeared first on Charlie INTEL. 10. The Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered Variety Map Pack is now available on PlayStation 4. The Variety Map Pack costs $14.99. It includes 4 multiplayer maps (Killhouse, Creek, Broadcast, and Chinatown) and 10 Rare Supply Drops for Operation Lion Strike. Multiplayer Maps: Broadcast: Based on the TV station from the campaign mission “Charlie Don’t Surf”, this map provides a unique blend of confined corridors and wide-open spaces. Outside the station, the parking lot contains long sightlines, but once inside, cramped hallways and a computer-cluttered broadcast room provide ample close-range combat opportunities. Chinatown: Set in a foggy downtown district, this nighttime map is lit up by flickering neon signs and a full moon. A re-imagining of the original Call of Duty multiplayer map “Carentan”, players will need to be careful on these streets, as almost every building in the map can be occupied, providing perfect cover for enemies waiting for a chance to line you up in their sights. Creek: Set in a wide-open village ravaged by combat where concealment is the difference between life and death, a gaping ravine divides this map into two. Open clearings with sheer cliff faces and ample forested cover make this map ideal for snipers and long-range firefights. Killhouse: A small training warehouse filled with various building mock ups that feature soft and hard cover points. Expect fast-paced and fierce firefights for maximum close-quarters chaos. Players can buy the Variety Map Pack for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered now on PS4. The Variety Map Pack will be available on Xbox One and PC at a later date.
