  6. In today’s new playlist update for Infinite Warfare, Infinity Ward has changed how Hardcore mode’s Ricochet will activate. With this update, the ricochet only activates after a player has killed 2 teammates, meaning you have a 2 time grace period before it will start to reflect. Hardcore friendly fire will only turn on reflect damage if you've killed two teammates. Two 'mulligans' then it's on you. — David Mickner (@DavidMickner) January 13, 2017 The post Hardcore mode updated to only activate ricochet after 2 friendly kills in Infinite Warfare appeared first on Charlie INTEL. 11. One of the major community feedback surrounding the latest Quartermaster update was the quality of some of the camos that were added to the game. There was over 100 new camos added, and many of the camos were just calling cards or emblems stretched out to fit the gun. Following the feedback, Infinity Ward’s Director of Communications, Eric Monacelli, has posted on Reddit that they will be updating the quality of the camos in an upcoming update on January 31. We’ll be updating the camo quality in our January 31 update alongside when the DLC drops. 12. Following the latest Quartermaster update for Infinite Warfare on January 11, many fans are upset over how much new content was added in terms of chances of earning items in-game now. With so many new customization items, chances are earning some prototype weapons may decrease in drops. Infinity Ward has posted on Reddit that, even with all of the new customization items, “Players have the same chance to get a weapon out of a supply drop as they did before.” They also stated that the chance to get “a rare, legendary, or epic out of a supply drop” is also the same as it was before this update. However, another concern raised with all of these new items is that it decreases the chances of getting duplicates, which in turn decreases the amount of Salvage players can earn in Supply Drops. Infinity Ward says that are working to introduce new ways to earn Salvage in the game, although they did not elaborate on that plans. The addition of all this new content means fewer duplicates from supply drops. We understand that some players are concerned about how this affects their ability to earn salvage. Rest assured, we have plans, and are working on additional plans, to introduce new ways to earn salvage in the future. 14. According to posts by /u/MrEarthboundFan on Reddit, there is more hidden content that has now been discovered in the Modern Warfare Remastered files on PC. Previously, these individuals leaked originally the codes for a supply drop system and possible new melee and ranged weapons. In today’s leak, they have revealed that the previously rumored KAM 12 and XMLAR weapons now have Weapon Kits associated with them, meaning development of these weapons have progressed. Alongside this, they posted images of the two new weapons in a certain Kit. In addition to the weapons, they have also found references to possible new attachments that could be coming to Modern Warfare Remastered. Some of these attachments appear to be from Modern Warfare 2, including “akimbo” and “heart beat” sensor. akimbomwr heartbeatmwr holosightmwr longbarrelmwr reflexvarmwr tacknifemwr thermalmwr varzoommwr xmagmwr Lastly, they also found new references to dual wielding pistols in the files, including left and right hand separate animations for Deagle, M9, and USP. As always, these are all unconfirmed, and some of these items can be in the files just for testing with no release. Raven Software’s Amos Hodge has stated that a “big update” is planned to come soon to Modern Warfare Remastered with bug fixes, which could possibly include new content, but there’s no confirmation as of now. We will update as we learn more. SOURCE: Reddit The post RUMOR: More hidden content (new attachments, dual-wield pistols) found in MWR files appeared first on Charlie INTEL. View the full article
  15. UPDATE: Infinity Ward has stated players will have their keys and salvage reset in Infinite Warfare for exploiting the key glitch. Players who received the 48 hour ban had their keys and salvage reset to zero. Please refer to the in-game message if you were affected. — Infinity Ward (@InfinityWard) January 11, 2017 Original Story Infinity Ward has started issuing bans for players that exploited the Key Glitch in Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare. The Key Glitch was during the 12 Days of Winter event, where Day 2’s Gift of 20 Keys could be exploited to open an infinite number of times. Players are receiving a 48 hour ban, and it is unclear if the stats will be reset. — David Mickner (@DavidMickner) January 9, 2017 Activision Support site states that first offense bans will result in players being “temporarily suspended from playing the game online, will have their stats, emblems, and paintjobs reset, will have online split-screen privileges revoked, and will have their leaderboard entries deleted.” That last part probably does not apply to Infinite Warfare, since there are no leaderboards in the game still.
