JGOD explains whether or not Warzone Kilo got secret buff

Warzone expert JGOD has crunched the numbers and explains if the Kilo received a secret buff in the popular Call of Duty battle royale.

The chatter in the Call of Duty: Warzone community regarding a possible secret buff to the Kilo 141 led statistics master JGOD to test and see if the assault rifle did indeed receive some unannounced improvements

There was a lengthy period of time where the Kilo 141 assault rifle was seen as the deadliest weapon for Warzone players when they were battling on Verdansk. However, following the integration of content from Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, the Kilo took a backseat to the best weapons from Treyarch’s latest entry in the franchise.

The Kilo still finds itself used in loadouts by players who prefer its low-recoil and damage output, and recent discussion in the Warzone community has focused on the weapon possibly getting a secret buff to its stats.

This talk of a possible improvement for the Kilo was the focus of an April 19, 2021 video from YouTuber JGOD, the master of Call of Duty: Warzone statistics.

In the video, JGOD explains that he did not see any increase in the damage output of the Kilo when it came to Warzone, as it still took 14 shots to take down an enemy through his testing.

Moving on to the damage output at various ranges for the assault rifle, JGOD describes how the damage output for the Kilo in Warzone is the same as it was when it was a top meta choice for players over the past year, with it taking 11 or fewer shots to kill an enemy.

However, the damage output past 86 meters is currently at 14 shots to kill, which was implemented for the assault rifle following the integration of Black Ops Cold War into the battle royale title.

JGOD explains that some players may feel that the Kilo is killing faster than usual due to team shooting where a player’s teammates are also dishing out damage towards an enemy player.

Looking into detailed numbers for kill to death ratios and time to kill for the Kilo over the past few months of Warzone, JGOD found that the data did not support the idea of there having been a secret buff to the weapon, as it is currently ranking behind multiple other weapons for these important areas.

There is no doubt that fans of the Kilo will be hoping for a major buff to the weapon when Season 3 of Warzone kicks off this week. If not, there will still be a variety of new weapons for players to try out.

Apex Legends is one of the top battle royale games globally, with players across multiple platforms able to enjoy all of the title’s action. Now, it has been confirmed that mobile players will soon be able to join in on the fun with upcoming beta tests.

The adrenaline-fueled action of Respawn’s first-person shooter has been available for players on consoles and PC but has been missing from the popular world of mobile gaming.

With such a large untapped community waiting for their chance to step into Respawn Entertainment’s popular title, it was not surprising to see the developer announce that a mobile version of Apex Legends would arrive at some point.

Apex Legends Mobile Beta

April 19, 2021, saw major announcements be made for the game, such as the reveal of a new character and a huge development in the timeline for the game’s release on its newest platform with the official announcement of upcoming beta tests for Apex Legends Mobile.

These tests will begin to roll out during Spring 2021, with a series of smaller closed tests in India and the Philippines, and will only be available on Android devices. Over time the tests will expand in size, cover more regions, and have iOS support.

Respawn also confirmed in the announcement that this upcoming version of the battle royale game will be free-to-play and specially designed for touchscreens.

Due to this version being designed specifically for touchscreens, there will be no cross-play with other platforms during the tests or following its official release.

A whole new community of players will now have the chance to experience everything that the high-profile battle royale game has to offer.

In contrast, veteran players will be able to continue their adventures on the go wherever they may find themselves in the future.

These beta tests will also undoubtedly be a great opportunity for the community to help Respawn Entertainment weed out any major bugs like the hip-fire glitch that is currently causing headaches for players on console and PC.

Dr Disrespect explains why Treyarch are the only way to save Warzone

Dr Disrespect has explained why he thinks Raven Software should stop managing Warzone, and hand the reigns to Treyarch instead.

Dr Disrespect has not been shy voicing his frustrations on Call of Duty: Warzone and recently explained why he believes Treyarch should take over.

Call of Duty: Warzone has been one of the most popular games in the world following its release in 2020 and is one of the heavyweights when it comes to battle royale games. Plenty of popular streamers have jumped into Verdansk over the past year including Dr Disrespect who has never hidden his true feelings towards the game.

A variety of bugs like the latest invisibility glitch and overpowered weapons such as the Akimbo Sykov pistols have caused major headaches for the community. Issues like these have been one of the major problems in the eyes of the Call of Duty community following the integration of Black Ops Cold War into Warzone.

During an April 18, 2021 stream, Dr Disrespect ran into a variety of issues that left the streamer less than satisfied with the first-person shooter and how developer Raven Software was handling the management of the game.

This led the streamer to state that Black Ops Cold War developer Treyarch should take over the management and development of the battle royale game.

“Raven at this point — They’ve always been sorta a support studio within Activision. But, I think they are just supporting on this transition between Warzone and what the Cold War version is gonna be,” said the Two-Time. “I’m hoping that once we get on Cold War we get Raven the hell off of this game. Please, get off of it, and let’s let Treyarch maybe sorta manage it for the next year. That’ll be fun.”

Clip starts at 23:00 for mobile users.

Infinity Ward had been the lead development studio for Warzone following its release in the life cycle of its latest game, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. Raven Software took over the main development and managing duties of the battle royale during the release and integration of Black Ops Cold War.

Members of the community have been very critical of Raven’s handling of the game so far and there are likely plenty of other players who would agree with Dr Disrespect when it comes to having Treyarch take over Warzone for the foreseeable future that is set to change drastically with the arrival of Season 3.
