  • Himsern

    Dat teaser

  • lMattW

This is purely speculative, but if the full reveal will be the same day as the xbox720 reveal then it seems highly likely the ATVI-Microsoft 30 day DLC preference deal will remain intact through CoD:Ghosts’ year.

    • Mitch

Yeah, Activision only thinks about the smaller part of their community

      • nope

And you wonder why that guy called you Bitch Belgraver…

The majority of people play on 360 so you’re wrong yet again.

        • MeisseN

Doesn’t mean PS3 and PC players should be overlooked, or mistreated like this.

          • DanDustEmOff

They are not being mis treated they know the deal
its been the same for years if they choose not to buy and xbox and stick to playing on the ps or pc then they do this knowing that they will get dlc later.

I’m not platform bashing thats just how it is it makes no sense complaining about it.

          • MeisseN

What now… Buying Xbox is right? Nah… All players are equal man

          • DanDustEmOff

Some players are more equal than others. Lol

That’s the deal mate xbox gets dlc early if you want dlc first u gotta get one if not then wait a month. Its a waste of your time and energy complaining about it. If you do wanna be mad at someone be mad at Sony.
If someone came to me with a bucket load of money and asked me to sell my product to them first I would be daft to turn it down.

          • David Morgan

+1 for the Animal Farm quote.

          • DanDustEmOff

I was begining to think no one would get it.

          • David Morgan

I think I just told you off in another article. The same man with the animal farm quote….sorry….haha Now I feel bad.

          • DanDustEmOff

I got thick skin dude, no worries.

      • lMattW

ATVI is thinking about their bottom line, for which they cannot be faulted.

    • Very Unhappy Person

Deal breaker for me. I’m not getting it, this shit transitions on to a whole new generation? No thanks.

      • LordPopo95

How? It’s still available on PS3, 360, PC. All it’s doing is getting better graphics and shit. How is that a deal breaker?

        • James K

He’s just annoyed waiting for an extra month to get the DLC. You may think it’s a good thing if you believe the XBOX360 is just a beta to test the new DLC so they patch the problems just in time for the other platforms. However, waiting an extra month for the DLC will just dilute the excitement and just reinforce the idea of platform favoritism from developers/publishers.

It’s even worse when you see publishers giving exclusive content to a selective platform(s). It will just infuriate players who are missing out on content that might be phenomenally incredible. Many are hoping that the next gen platforms will lose those ugly business deals behind.

          • LordPopo95

I know that frustrated I’m a PC player an I feel more ignored than those on PS3. But that’s no reason for a person to hate a game. But I don’t think that’s what he was talking about exactly what he was talking about. He was angry about the next gen consoles? I dunno I don’t get what he was on about :/

  • Tank Dempsey

Uh ah maggot sacks, this looks fucking badass!

  • Mitch

1). No in-game footage or anything, could have at least showed 10seconds.
2). 99% of the trailer was BS about the history of fucking masks.
    3). MS deal renewed.
Gonna give it a 3/10. Would have been a 2/10 if it was MW4.
The full reveal better be fucking good!

    • Denied

Your mom should have named you Bitch Belgraver

      • Mitch

You know how original you are? You are a real tough little boy on the internet, aren’t you? Tough on the internet yelling at people, a little shit IRL. You’re type of person is what’s wrong with the internet these days. Also people have opinions, and they aren’t always the same as yours.
All my 3 points seem pretty valid to me.

        • nope

He didn’t yell and also you didn’t scribe your comment in such a way that it came across as an opinion – more of an assertion.

          • Stefan

Opinions are meant to be discussed, and not to be left as they are.

        • Boris Guyon-Pelfrene

If you don’t know what a TEASER trailer is supposed to be, then you’re the one in the wrong. TEASER. To TEASE.

        • Denied

          You’re a pathetic joke.
          1: It’s called a teaser tralier for a reason
2: It wasn’t about the history of masks, it was about the symbolism of masks. Clearly you’re to dumb to understand
3: Big deal, that’s what you get for owning a PS3

If your going to give it a 3/10, why the fuck are you wasting your time here, do something productive instead of bitching about CoD every year, you know your going to get your mommy to buy it for you.

          • 4336Numbers39825

You are a little kid with no arguments and you know why? because of your crap protecting Xbox like it was better… Ps3 is good too and i have both, let me guess u compare Cod and BF too? BTW this teaser trailer is bad IMO like Mitch said “IMO” so shut up if your opinion is different.

          • Denied

Learn some english before you start vocing your opinions, you inbred fuck. I never protected Xbox, i just said that it was his fault for owning a PS3 if he wanted to get DLC early. so shut up if your opinion is different.

      • nope

        A truly excellent comment.

A massive leap to say that the timed exclusive deal is renewed. I mean the original deal ran out last year and at E3 they announced they renewed it – but unlike before they didn’t tell us for how long.

So it could be wrong to say they renewed it if it isn’t going to expire.

I predict it will occur – simply because at the start of a generation people are making their mind up which console they’ll buy. So people might not hop from PS3 to 360 mid-generation just to get some DLC early, but many will go ‘OK so the 720 has COD DLC early, I’ll get that instead of the PS3 this time’.

    • petato

      1) its a teaser, same as battlefield also didn’t show anything + every other teaser is just to let people know: ”look, a new game”
      2) history is fun… i guess… at least it is interresting
      3) true 😀

      • Mitch

For me in gaming I can’t give a fuck about history, especially about masks, but I can see where you’re coming from. I am also the guy that when it comes to trailers for games, I want footage from the game, not actors like this.

        • Mr. Thuggins

That’s why it’s called a teaser trailer and not a gameplay trailer.

    • Keshav Bhat

First and foremost, MW3 (the last game from IW) didn’t get a reveal trailer till May 23rd. Ghosts’s reveal lines up exactly with that.

  • CoDLover

Awesome teaser we saw the guy lit a Tac Insertion! This cannot get better!!

  • AtomicFilms95

I feel as though the trailer would have had much more of an impact had we not already all known it was Ghosts…

    • DanDustEmOff

Well if you visit sites like this then you are always going to spoil suprises for yourself.

  • Ali-A is untalented

  • Chris Ilott

I have previously said I won’t buy this game as it’s IW and I prefer Treyarch; I’ll still watch the gameplay and things and maybe, just maybe, they’ll change my mind if this new engine is any good. It better not be like the BF engine though…

    • Kevin Anthony Seepersad

boy you know your going to buy it… it will call your name until you walk away with it from the store

  • woooo ghosts

  • Cyber-Ninja

Dudes look closer at the final image. The building looks bombed, so maybe it’s in a post apocalypse setting? There’s 6 soldiers plus a dog, maybe summat to do with Seal team 6? The dog has a back pack, so maybe there’s a mission with just him and we play as a K9?

There’s also a Druganov, MK14, AK47, M4 with Grenade launcher and a Shotgun. We may also get custom masks for our avatars? The graphics also look amazing and very realistic too. So there’s plenty to talk about until we get another trailer or more leaked info!!! ;O)

    #CODGhosts #TheGhostsAreReal #CallofDuty

    • utjdcvku

I found the troll in that comment but I like the rest

      • Cyber-Ninja

        troll? What ya talking about???

        • the graphics. I think its animated CG or in that new activision engine. But people think its live action.

  • RaGe Topshot

To The people that say they will not buy the game… You are all lying to yourselves you are going to buy it.

    • Kevin Anthony Seepersad

i know right.. this game will holler at them like a dog wanting to eat you if you dont walk away with the game in their hands…

    • DanDustEmOff

Sorry dude im on the fence till they confirm or deny dedicated servers Lag Ops 2 was the last straw

  • Ascending Legend

Shame my local eb games closed down. 🙁

  • James K

Can someone start the countdown on this site and remove that MW4 rumor link?

    • Batman

It has started already on COD wikis

    • Keshav Bhat

MW4 rumor link is gone. We will post countdown when we get closer.

    • Drift

      Are you literally that stupid?

      • Why? look at the Image, look at it. The one as the head of the article. Thats not live action.

  • Bananannzo3
  • David Frautschi

If you look closely at the trailer it is using the next gen engine.

    • DanDustEmOff

Thats what I thought, I mean it looked real like they were using actors but it also looked computer generated so damn close to call but I think that you are right.

  • Kevin Anthony Seepersad

dont screw this one up IW, you got what you wanted… your new office and papers… use it to make us a decent call of duty game like you did since cod4… the transition from cod 2 to cod 4 was great… now show us you guys can do it… you guys know it by fact mw3 was not favored…

    • I think they will, i have high hopes for this one. Many have lost hope. But many have drawn a line and this is the last straw.

  • ORB1T4L

This teaser gave me fuckin’ thrills. @ people bitchin’ around : you’re free not to like it but please STFU and let the others enjoy, thank you =) I mean, everyone can have different opinions, just respect them and follow your own way.

  • Yee boi

“New Engine” Boom. That maekes me hope this will be so much gretaer than Mw3

  • K

Does anyone know if this is any way related to Ghost out of Modern Warfare 2 or are all the characters new with no returning characters? To me the mask/balaclava Ghost wears in MW2 is different to the person we saw in the teaser trailer for Call of Duty: Ghosts

  • Keshav Bhat

The amount of comments saying “WHAT A STUPID TRAILER” is amusing. This is what you call a “teaser trailer.” A trailer that *teases* when the real, gameplay trailer will be shown. As seen, it says reveal trailer May 21st. This is similar to the MW3 “AM3RICA” “3NGLAND” videos for their game. It’s a tone piece announcing the date of the reveal trailer. So before you “LMAO” at what this game is, watch the gameplay on May 21st.
