According to a tweet from Mark Rubin, Infinity Ward’s Executive Producer, we can expect to get Ghosts multiplayer info in August.

Black Ops 2 MP was also revealed last year in mid August via a live stream at Europe’s Gamescom event. Remember, multiplayer is always revealed around that time, but at least this should put to rest any rumors of MP showing up at E3.

We’ll keep you posted on anything else we hear…

    cannot wait for ghosts

I’d like to go to PC this time but I just don’t like the fact that every iteration of Call of Duty is dumbed down for said platform, even though that is where it all began. Sure, the graphics are clearly top notch than anything else but things like Dedicated Servers with actual lists and controls missing doesn’t sit right me. Elite also being shafted on PC is also a negative. So much better customization options possible on PC, but nothing is ever being explored. This for me now is a console game, so I’ll most likely go Xbox One or PS4, whichever I get first.

So you’re going to miss out on a better platform for one that does pretty much the exact same thing, except less? If there’s not going to be real dedicated servers w/ a browser and more controls/options to edit for the client, then you’re not going to be experiencing anything different on console.

There is also a bigger community that gathers on the console side of things. Plus, most of my friends game COD on consoles.

past 4 cods the mp info came out in Aug, i’m really looking foward to this

    • MW3 MP was revealed September 2 & 3 at CoD XP

      • Batman

Just because of 2-3 days of difference it counts?

  • Young Hernz

since I herd the maps are gonna be huge i hope IW at least add a small map that similar to MW3’s dome

    • DoucheMagoo

lol what’s you source? i guarantee its not a legit source.

    • Super_Deluxe

Or 9v9 teams like ground war. It gets so boring having to find people on big maps when the teams are small. Turbine for example in BO2.

    • Mitch

No way CoD will change to huge maps…

  • Ascending Legend

Yay multiplier info! why cant they tell us about this first instead of the campaign?

    • Furreal

Because they always start working on the Multiplayer aspect last. That’s why the MP for the past CoDs have been severely mediocre.

    • aaa187

It is just bad for business for some reason to show the MP. I don’t know if it’s because some people may be turned off by it early on or something.

Or it might even conflict with the map packs that Black Ops 2 has yet to release.

One reason or another, it just isn’t good to show multiplayer early on.

        Fair Enough

HAHAHA cod Ghosts a new cut and paste game from Infinity Ward

“I can’t wait to talk about it, so I’m going to wait to talk about it.”

I’ve never understood the reluctance to show off COD MP until so late. It always struck me as backwards… I don’t think the SP crap is building hype anymore. And with Battlefield 4 not only showing off MP at E3, but having it open to the public on the floor, it seems odd for Activision to be so scared to show off MP.

I used to enjoy the Campaigns, but IDK I kinda needed to “force myself” to play the campaign in the last couple of CODs.

I think I’ve gotten to the point that I only care about MP, and could care less about the story anymore… *shrugs*
