Sledgehammer Games is introducing a new Pick 13 system for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare multiplayer. Pick 13 system is based off of Black Ops 2’s Pick 10 system, but this time we get 3 more allocations.

The pick system works by allocating every single item 1 point. Every item costs 1 point to use, and you can choose how you want to use the 13 points. You don’t have to use all 13 points; make the class that best fits your play style. Similar to Black Ops 2, you don’t have to select things you don’t want – meaning, if you don’t want a secondary, you don’t have to use one.

And also returning is Scorestreak system; each scorestreak is allocated 1 point in the Pick 13 system, so it’s integrated directly into the whole class based system.

I know not on subject but can some one tell me where I can watch xbox one press conference from gamescom ? All ready seen the cod one

  • J4MES

Love the Black Ops 2-style user interface in Advanced Warfare. So much better than horrible COD Ghosts cluttered presentation. Is that really 700pts for a UAV though?

    • Pilot #171

Yes. You can see on the bottom right of the UAV, that there is a module added the ups the cost of the UAV to give it a new attribute.

The icon shown is for making the UAV a Support Streak.

    • baseballer59

I agree with you, black ops 2 was way more polished than ghosts and I’m glad sledgehammer is basing their game off of black ops 2.

    • jordanxbrookes

UAV is at 400 score, it’s the fact there is a module added onto the UAV, that makes it total 700 score, making Hardline a useful perk to use.

  • Guywithbrains

Sounds awesome to me. But talking about that gun showing on the picture… it seems like it is a mix of assault rifle and sub machine gun – it has fast reloading time, it has 30 bullets in one magazine, it is not so heavy-looking as assault rifles but it has really high damage like assault rifles. Just check some raw gameplay video from Youtube.

700 points UAV? I thought it was 400. If I have to get 700 points for UAV, it may be too much. As they spoke about Michael Condrey using high killstreaks because he gets it vs. Glen Schofield barely getting UAV. I’m totally Glen in this case. I play objective maybe too much and rush from flag to flag in domination, but still I barely got lighting strike in Black Ops 2. However, in MW3 I get pavelow just like that…

I was really hoping for beta. Well still it looked good enough to me so I am pre-ordering it. So far my favorite map has been Ascend. 🙂

    • rocket

If you were paying attention, you would see there’s add on to UAV, which makes it better but increases points you need to acquire it.

      • Guywithbrains

It takes some time that I remember those upgrades for scorestreaks. Now I remember it, thanks. 🙂

  • Pilot #171

Support Streaks are coming back via modules as well.

    • LovekillerX

How do you know? I only saw UAV modules and those aren’t going to be support. These orbitals, more time, more speed and stuff like that shown on the picture shows us just models from UAV, nothing else.

      • Pilot #171

The “Support” module is listed above. Why else would it cost more and be called, Support?

        • LovekillerX

Support can mean some ability that UAV has which provides some kind of support. As you can see, it says “UAV modules” which means upgrades for UAV which is one of the scorestreaks. There would read “support” not “UAV modules” if it would be support scorestreaks.

          • Brad

Its says on the description that you retain your streak through death, which is exactly what support is. It makes the UAV a support UAV which is why its raises the cost.

    • Guest

Not the same support garbage as MW3 and Ghosts. You can’t be on a streak and DIE. These are simply different variations of a specific killstreak

      • Pilot #171

Its says on the description that you retain your streak through death, which is exactly what support is.

Sorry you feel that way about Support streaks, but some others do indeed like it.

Guys look at this… Something in the controller, aswell as in the Black Ops cover image.

    • Guywithbrains

What is so special about this controller? Can someone explain me? Yes I see every detail, but I still don’t get it. I still have my brains (referring to my username)…

      • jordanxbrookes

Look at the tally scratchings, it’s like the tally scratchings you get for the number of rounds in Zombies, so this could either indicate there is a round-based horde mode or it’s just something extra added on to the controller.

        • Guywithbrains

Now that you said it. Horde modes are always welcome! Extinction is really good competition against zombies. Now Sledgehammer Games would do the same with it’s own cyborg mode or something like that? 😉

          • jordanxbrookes

Did you see Play The Game’s video on the possible co-op being hinted from the map BioLab? You should check it out.

          • Guywithbrains

Actually I didn’t. I’ll check that out after school tomorrow. Now to bed. 😛

          • jordanxbrookes

It’s actually something I theorised on sometime ago with a friend of mine, but I never uploaded the video because everyone was talking about Cyborgs and Robots, so I never did the video, wish I did.

          • Wonkanator2

i heard someone on cod forums talking about the biolab map talking that the co op mode could be similar to like super humans, which would make since do to the exo suit mechanics

          • jordanxbrookes

Yeah that’s somewhat similar to what my idea was. My idea was that there would be some disease outbreak that turned humans into these super-human like monsters, similar to the ones in I Am Legend. With BioLab, maybe something in the labs went wrong and caused such an outbreak? Who knows.

          • Potato Republic

I still would’ve preferred if I.W did Extinction for A.W, but I’m willing to give S.H a shot.

  • Guys look at this GIF, something in the Advanced Warfare controller!

    • Sorry for multiple posts, those Guest posts are from me. I tried posting the gif but it wouldn’t show so I just decided to post it as a link. I did press delete on those failed messages but now they’re appearing as Guest posts…

    2054 Tommy gun

  • Derrick Wingler

Only 7 different scorestreaks? Am i missing something?

    • It’s in demo build. they said they will be adding more stuff into the game

  • Potato Republic

As on of the guys from Mob Of The Dead would say..
    “I like! I like alot!”

  • xVale

They better add in more scorestreaks…

    • Potato Republic

      It’s a demo. There’s a helluva lot more. (I hope..)

    • LovekillerX

There will be more streaks. That is what they said for Ali-A when he said that there could be more scorestreaks so no worries. 🙂

  • Potato Republic

So when’s the time they usually reveal Co-Op mode?…

    • LovekillerX

People told me that it would be revealed before releasing the actual game but that sounds weird if we have to wait that long for revealing that co-op mode. I don’t know then but this far trailers for them have been released before releasing the actual game (or this is what I remember, tell me if I am wrong.)

      • Its only august too, they will prob. release more info in sept. like they always do.

  • Viktor

I am hoping for many more killstreaks and maybe a few more perks, but I am pretty convinced that we’ll get that!

    • LovekillerX

Well as I said earlier for another commenter, I say the same for you: they told Ali-A that there are going to be more streaks. 🙂

      • Viktor

Amazing! It would also be wierd to have so few streaks (even fewer than ghosts!!) when they have been so inspired by BO2

        • LovekillerX

Yeah I thought the same. I was also worried about scorestreaks but luckily we are going to get more of those! And more perks and weapons are also welcome and we can assume that there are going to be more of those too. 🙂 Wiki listed UMP45 as a weapon and there was a picture and under it there was text “variant version of the UMP.” So could it mean that it is coming back?

Now it has name SN6 which is under “submachine guns.”

    • Justin

Posted this but here’s some more score streak info for you.

  • Kyle

I sound like a noob asking this but does anybody know if the advanced warfare game thats included in the atlas limited edition is a physical copy or a digital copy(I think its a physical copy but im not 100% sure).

    • K

It’s a physical copy – that’s why you get the Atlas Edition Steelcase, to keep your game inside!

  • jasonxbrookes

I’m curious as to when we will see the full weapon list. The ghosts MP reveal showed off all the weapons from the get-go.

    • PatPatPat

They couldn’t fit all the weapons. There are over 350+ weapons in AW

      • jasonxbrookes

No, the base weapons were listed vertically, while the variants you speak of are listed horizontally depending on which weapon is selected. So that is not true. I’m speaking of the base weapons only. We were only shown 3 base assault rifles, 2 base SMGs, 1 base Sniper, etc…

      • Black

I thought the 300+ weapons were “signature weapons” ? Like in Far Cry 3’s campaign ?

  • justinrijstn

The co-op mode could be mutated animals/insects cuz in the singleplayer 5 things (don’t know the name sorry) where dropped maybe they make it so that it could make animals bigger and stronger. Hope u get it 😀 (sorry for my english)

  • Justin

Here’s some more info on the score streaks

    • Blaine

Glad to see more streaks there. I’d be satisfied if that’s the final list, but it would be cool to see 3-4 more at launch. The upgrades look really cool too, but I wish he would have explained how the “support” upgrade works.

      • Justin

I am guessing support works the same as past cod’s however to use support it jumps your score streak up considerably. For example the UAV is 400 while the support version is 700. Obviously it would make no sense for the streak to reset upon death like assault so it most likely carries on after dying.

        • Maverick

That is my thinking as well. You can have it as a support streak that you can continue to earn after dying, but at a substantial cost. I noticed not all the streaks have that option. The UAV, Orbital drop and Turret did. But not more powerful streaks like Warbird and Bombing runs. It would appear that you can mix and match so one streak would roll over and maybe one would not.
To me it takes the options of killstreaks and support streaks, with the flexibility of modules, in the score streak method, with the option to do both at the same time. Interesting.

          • Justin

Yeah its clear you can’t use the more powerful score streaks with support.

  • CinemaSins

    There are like 5-7 scorestreaks.

  • Suu

“Am I the only one that wants a flamethrower attachment like from BO?..”
“Cause yeah that things was awesome.”

  • Tom

Why has no one mentioned that support kill streaks are back in the game? Because they are..

  • Hello Guys i have one Q.

AW’s Multiplayer’s item unlock is Token [like BO2] or Level unlock?
