As fans around the world are gearing up to enter a new era of combat this November, we have great news for those of you who plan to secure your copy of Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare digitally. Until March 31st, 2015, if you buy a digital copy of Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, you will be able to download the next-gen version within the same console family for FREE.

Your Season Pass will also transfer from last-gen to your current-gen console for free, within the same console family only. The offer to transfer your Season Pass or any DLC has no deadline.

In addition, if you purchase the Collector’s Edition and receive the Atlas Gorge map, that map will transfer from last-gen to next-gen at no additional cost.

Also, if you upgrade from last-gen to current-gen, you will still own the license to play the game on both consoles.

UPDATE: Sony and Activision have announced that Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare is a cross-buy on PlayStation. This means that if you buy the PS3 version of Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare digitally on the PS Store, you will get the PS4 version as well. OR, if you buy the PS4 version of Advanced Warfare digitally on the PS Store, you will get the PS3 version as well – at no additional cost if you purchase by March 31st, 2015.

This means that you can “upgrade” both ways – regardless of which PlayStation version you buy, you will get the other platform for free.

This offer also extends to the Season Pass and any additional DLC – if you buy on PS3, you get PS4 version; if you buy on PS4, you will get PS3 version as well with no dealine.

If you have already preordered Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare on the PS Store for either PS3 or PS4, after Nov. 3rd, you will be able to download the other version of the game at no additional cost.
