Fast food chains Carl’s Jr and Hardee’s today announced a new partnership with Activision for Call of Duty: Black Ops 3.

“Call of Duty is the most beloved video game franchise in the world and one of the biggest entertainment brands of all-time, so partnering with Activision for the launch of the new Call of Duty: Black Ops III presents a great opportunity to bring our brands together,” says Brad Haley, chief marketing officer for Carl’s Jr. and Hardee’s restaurants. “Our target customers love burgers, like our new Tex Mex Bacon Thickburger, and Call of Duty, so the two have now come together in an ‘Ultimate Care Package’ combo meal, complete with customized Call of Duty packaging that includes a peel-and-win game piece for a chance to win epic Black Ops III prizes.”

Rob Kostich, Senior Vice President and General Manager of Call of Duty, said, “We’re thrilled to Partner with Carl’s Jr. and Hardee’s on this far-reaching program that truly benefits the entire Call of Duty community. This unique collaboration and campaign gives fans across the country a chance to win some great prizes in-game and in-restaurant, and, importantly, creates a special activation for our military veterans. We are very thankful to Carl’s Jr. and Hardee’s for their support of the Call of Duty Endowment, whose sole purpose is to drive our shared passion to put as many of our returning veterans into high quality jobs as possible.”

The new partnership will bring Black Ops 3 branded packaging to the Ultimate Care Package meal at these restaurants, which will include a Tex Mex Bacon Thickburger, large fries and a large drink. In addition, with each purchase, players will have the opportunity to win a Treyarch VIP Experience.

A three-day, two-night trip to Los Angeles that includes a tour of award-winning Call of Duty design studio, Treyarch, and the chance to meet members of the Call of Duty: Black Ops III development team. The Grand Prize Winner will also receive a gift bag full of Call of Duty: Black Ops III gear, including a copy of the game signed by members of the studio.

But that’s not all: this new tie-in will also include the chance for fans who purchase the Ultimate Care Package meal to get an in-game personalization pack for Call of Duty: Black Ops 3, the game itself, and even the Astro branded Black Ops 3 mod kit.

Instant-win prizes include: Call of Duty: Black Ops III games, Astro headsets outfitted with a Call of Duty: Black Ops III mod kit, in-game themed “Take Out” personalization pack containing a weapon camo, reticles and a calling card, as well as other clothing and gear items from 5.11 Tactical, and free food coupons.

In addition to the in-restaurant activation, this program will feature in-game items when Black Ops III launches worldwide on November 6, 2015. Select sweepstakes winners will receive in-game items, including the “Take Out” personalization pack that features a specialized weapon camo decked out with a ketchup, mustard, and extra pickles themed design.

They’ve also announced a partnership with the Call of Duty Endowment, Activision’s non-profit organization that helps veterans find jobs; on Veteran’s Day – November 11, 2015 – all proceeds from fans purchasing the Ultimate Care Package meal will go to the Call of Duty Endowment.

Even more, Activision has teamed up with Carl Jr’s and Hardee’s to launch an all new ad campaign called ‘Best Day Ever’ featuring Charlotte McKinney. The ad will premiere in the US starting October 26th.

To support this partnership, Activision and Carl’s Jr. and Hardee’s restaurants collaborated on a new ad campaign, titled “Best Day Ever,” featuring the return of Charlotte McKinney.McKinney’s “Au Natural” ad debut in early 2015 garnered over 4.5 billion media impressions and more than 12 million views on the chains’ YouTube channel. This time, viewers will see her like never before – armed and ready for battle. McKinney saves the day in the middle of a pyrotechnic-filled trailer inspired from the world of Call of Duty: Black Ops III. McKinney even performed her own stunts in the commercial. The ad will premiere nationally on October 26.

Yay I can’t wait for more people to become obese, I’m going to enjoy when Michelle Obama comes in and starts fighting obesity by literally beating up the obese people like in South Park XD

    This game is everywhere!

  • It was pretty interesting until I read, “Select sweepstakes winners will receive in-game items, including the “Take Out” personalization pack that features a specialized weapon camo decked out with a ketchup, mustard, and extra pickles themed design.” Who would want to win that? If I did and they gave me a code for it I’d juice myself on twitter with RT & Follow for a chance to win thing. Smh.

    • DeadZombieGaming 12

It was so funny… First we got Weed camo now this? What next? Penis themed camos?

  • lunator100hd .

They sponsor tv series, brand fast food whats next? black ops 3 themed condoms?

    • Jenish Katuwal

Hm… now that you mention it…. yep. condoms.

    • Ak74u

Lol I would by it! If they’re good quality then yeah

    • Why not ! Imagine the girl. “Wow, you play black ops 3, let’s talk about it, I don’t want to fuck anymore!” ;D

      • lunator100hd .

        Hahahahahahahahaha lol dude.

    • Darark

‘Please hold you don’t know what will do”

    • Richard Method

I’ll be honest, I love this game so much, I’d actually buy those.

  • drjakeyoung

I know I’ll be hated but what the hell. Activision have been encouraging really unhealthy crap recently. It’s mainly the fact or the whole DEW/DORITOS thing. I mean really? Why can’t they make it so that for a packet of salad, you get a double XP code? Considering the majority of the player base (and they know this) are children, surly it would be more humble to make the promotion thing on healthier snacks. I guess i am just salty as i have kidney disease, people like me are locked out from stuff like this. Seems like activision really don’t care about this kind of crap.

    • Jenish Katuwal

Because…. I dont want a pack of salad when I sit down to play cod; Its more coke + mic = yelling at friends with face stuffed full of shit. :33333

    • Drasadex

who fucking cares if the food is healthy or not.

      • drjakeyoung

Let me guess, you’re over weight?

        • w

What a terrible assumption. You can eat “unhealthy” but as long as you balance your meals so you don’t go over your caloric intake (add in a workout for good measure) you won’t be overweight.

        • Drasadex

          No I’m not.

        • TheVale

Being healthy is simply balancing your calories consumed and burned. You can eat a large cheese pizza with pepperoni throughout the course of the day and still lose weight. Just hit the gym or the tracks for an hour or two. Parents of these kids should know better than to let their kids stuff up on this junk anyway

  • The Flash

looks like Xbone BO3 is back? anyone else get this?

  • MichiganerE

Oh yes, more unhealthy shit used to advertise the game. Also, what’s up with English Recipes being at the bottom of every article now?

  • Michael Romo

    Diabeetus here I come

  • ToonToons22

If there was any fast-food restaurant that would be most likely to have a BO3 promotion, I would have expected Taco Bell to be it. After all, they do have a connection with Mountain Dew and Doritos, don’t they?

  • Luis

Will this in all carl´s jr worldwide or only on the US?

  • BRoyer

The food alone at Hardee’s is as much as a trip to L.A. Lol seriously tho it’s like 12 bucks for that combo by itself

  • Alex

Ugly FAT Americans keep getting fatter and uglier…

    • Buruck Obuma

        • ccrows
