ESL has announced that they are partnering with Activision for the Call of Duty World League for 2016 to support the World League’s Pro Division.

This will be a huge change for Call of Duty eSports going forward, as previously MLG hosted the Pro League for Call of Duty titles. Partners of the Challenge Division of the World League will be announced at a later date. Stay tuned for more information.

    What the fuck is ESL?

    • Viral Echo

Exactly. Love BO3, but the politics between Sony and Microsoft as well as other weird changes like this suck. Why can’t we all just enjoy the game? We get too caught up in the business and money whoring.

What are you talking about? ESL is the Electronic Sports League, a League that functions worldwide hosting eSports events for tons of games. This has nothing to do with Sony or Microsoft. This is Activision’s partnership with ESL to help bring COD World League worldwide and more effectively.
