Ancient sentinels from a lost civilization guard the entrance to Berserk, a Viking village frozen in time. Fight through blizzards and control the center bridge as you navigate this medium-sized map’s wooden buildings and craggy rock outcroppings.

  • ArtisanKnight

    Looks cool..

  • Only Berserk?

    • Ak74u

      I wanted to see cryogen

  • RdJokr

Haven’t had a snow map in a while. This would’ve been a great opportunity to bring back dynamic map events.

Guess Treyarch isn’t such a big fan of that, hence them putting dynamic events in only one map of the entire game…

    • Ak74u

It would be cool if dynamic events could be caused by the specialist weapons some idea I had in mind. For example if you gravity spike on some ice lIke an ice bridge it could break and cause for different engagements or be able to ahnialate metal or wooden doors to open for different paths or advantage rooms

      • RdJokr

Oh man, I can imagine the cringe when Purifier doesn’t melt all the snow away.

        • Ak74u

they need to make it happen maybe let the purifier melt a frozen lake! Have it turn into a water combat good opportunity for this map

    • Thomas the Tankswag

Well it says fight through blizzards and there clearly isn’t a blizzard in the preview so I’m guessing there will be dynamic elements.

      • Ak74u

I remember bo2 mirage was supposed to have a sand storm blizzard? But when it came out it didn’t have one it would of been awesome if it did. Maybe because of last gens capabilitys

        • That lava map or whatever in BO2 was supposed to have lava come in the map mid game and that didn’t happen either

          • Ak74u

Oh yeah that map was called Magma and yeah it didn’t happen

    • GinsuVictim

Haven’t had a snow map in a while? What about Infection, Rise, and part of Gauntlet?

      • Infection was withe the games release, about 10 months ago. And Gauntlet is 1/3 of a map. Hardly counts.

        • GinsuVictim

You have a different concept of time than I do, I guess. This game still feels like it just came out. 10 months is nothing (and it’s not 10 months either – it’s 8 since release)

      • RdJokr

Was it actually snowing on Infection, or just snow decoration around the area? Tbh, I couldn’t remember that well, even though I play this game like every day.

        • GinsuVictim

“A snow map” – doesn’t indicate it has to be actually snowing.

      • bsktballmsu1

it was snowing on rise??? Isn’t the map above lava

        • GinsuVictim

          That’s snow…

    • BlueBeard

Which map in BO3 has an event? I can’t think of any.

      • RdJokr

        • Diego Diniz

          that fucking train…

        • awesome_farts

And that’s my least favorite map. I skip it everytime I can lol. Best map, gets picked the most via votes, is combine!!! I love that map =-)

    • BudEagle

i hate dynamic map events. it ruins the flow of a game. they’re so annoying

      • awesome_farts

    • awesome_farts

Dynamic events, as well as AI interference, in MP is a turn off for me. I didn’t like it in ghosts, far cry 4 MP (Eagles randomly attack you while you’re trying to play online?!) and I got annoyed by it quickly in AW (especially the map with the clown face throwing bombs).

I don’t even like too many the sidekicks waking around in uncharted 4 (I know, different game…. but a good one!) when in MP player because it offsets the natural online feel for me. In ANY online game, AI & other programmed events, just take away from the MP imo.

The only game online that even made acceptable use of AI in MP, and not aggressively either, was Titanfall. And that’s with the titan in auto-mode & with the spectres. But that was /is a unique execution and the only exception =-)

    • Former

Screw dynamic events. There’s enough BS to worry about in a CoD match already. I don’t want to pay attention to the damn weather, too.

  • What you looking at?

Spoiler ahead: useless for pc bec no one plays the mp maps

    • awesome_farts

The PC is still waiting for the release of the mod tools to make their own maps. Who needs DLC when the cod PC community can make the kind of environments they want to play on themselves? These devs sure are taking forever to release them tho. Modern warfare remaster will be out by the time mod tools are released =-(

  • waylay3r

Great music in the trailer and btw did you hear 2 of the soundtracks from IW that were teased? They sound amazing

  • bsktballmsu1

this map pack seems to be bringing the best mp maps we have had yet. too bad the movement system will hinder the greatness of the maps

    • zack

bo3 is one of the best movement systems in fps history

      • Former

Bar the high-wallrun jump bullshit that allows players to soar 30 feet in the air.

    LMAO dont make me laugh

    • DeadZombieGaming 12

What they are trying to say is that WW2 in the future pretty much..:
      SDF = Nazis
      UNSA = America
It’s a classic gud vs evil.

      • Bullet proof logic honestly. Now I’ll go ahead and it apply that same logic to AW with two fractions and called that a WW2 feel

        • iGotNothinOnBatman

          Got eeeem!

        • Icarus

While I do partially agree with this statement, the factions in Advanced Warfare don’t really have a WW2 feel in my opinion. Atlas is a Mega Corporation while Sentinel is a international coalition that consist of multinational units from various countries according to the wikia.
Atlas main motive wasn’t really about world domination, it was to end all wars as said from Jonathan irons. While it is true what atlas did later in the game was horrifying and sick, it didn’t excuse them from the fact they wanted to end US militaristic power over everyone. If you research more about it, you’d would see that Atlas was a ‘saviour’ among first and third world nations, the largest corporation in the world , and a corporate military superpower before they turned against everyone. The SDF is comparable to the Nazis cause they see themselves better than the people of earth and they think that they are the true inheritors of the solar system. They not only wanted to secede from earth’s government, the wanted to control the whole solar system using brutal militarism.

          • Nah fam, two fractions, good vs evil=ww2 feel. Definitely bullet proof logic. Glad we can have ww2 feel now super dank

          • Icarus

I guess so but the factions in Aw is not your typical white vs black or good vs evil. I feel that it goes much more deeper than that. It’s great that we have a WW2 feel now with Infinite warfare’s approach with the story.

          • Nah AW is typical, they just went with a different twist which was very predictable. Anyone could have seen Atlas were gonna be bad guys before playing the story

          • Icarus

Well.. The story itself was predictable lol but it could’ve been better

          • It really could have. I thought it was average at best. Kevin did a good job though which was no surprise, but he held it up

    • Gamerazor247

Remember when GameSpot said Smite had a FPS feel, lol…. No?

  • Michael Romo

This map kinda gives me a bo1 styled-map feeling. Idk, this could be interesting

  • tuby

Maybe we will have finally a dLC with great maps. Cant wait to play # hypetrain

  • Aidan

This map to me looks like it’s going to play a lot like Summit from BO1

  • joey

not a fan of the game, but i am a fan of the talent that creates such incredible-looking scenery.
