The panel will feature the reveal of the new Call of Duty Zombies Comic Book, which will feature 6 parts. The first part will be available on stands on October 19, 2016.

The Call of Duty Zombies Comic-Book is written by Justin Jordan (Green Lantern: New Guardians), and illustrated by Jonathan Wayshak (Devolution), Call of Duty: Zombies features a story by Treyarch’s Zombies Director, Jason Blundell and the studio’s Lead Writer, Craig Houston.

Here’s the official description:

On his quest to secure an ancient artifact known as The Kronorium, Doctor Edward Richtofen enlists the help of The Tranzit Crew, a rag tag group of survivors last seen in the Black Ops II Zombies installment Buried. On a deeply unstable and fractured future Earth, Stuhlinger, Misty, Russman, and Marlton battle for survival against the undead horde, as they slowly uncover the truth behind Richtofen’s mysterious reappearance. The Call of Duty: Zombies miniseries follows these characters’ perilous journey of discovery, filling in crucial pieces of the larger Zombies Story.

    • I hate them too, but id rather they bring them back in a comic than in a DLC. Plus, this will bring closure to the Tranzit saga.

The fact that they’re making a comic book for zombies sounds really interesting. I’ve read and bought my own copies of some of the written stories (Modern Warfare 2: Ghost Comic,The Rightful King,Devil’s Breath,V.E.R.S.I.O.N.) and I always loved how they gave us more info on the characters and what led them to the games’s plots. Hope this one does the same.
