      But it really is the biggest entertainment franchise ever. Look at the numbers. The Call of Duty franchise has a total of 253,560,000 units sold over the past 12 years earning over 50 billion dollars. Being limited to a First Party released franchise, The Call of Duty franchise has earned equivalently more units sold over an amount of time, the Call of Duty franchise being just over 10 years old and the Super Mario franchise being over 30.
      In terms of sales, Call of Duty wins over the Mario franchise being worth $5 billion more, even after factoring in toys, merchandise and spin-off games.
