Activision has put up a new site on the official Call of Duty site with more details on the Zombies mode in Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare. One of the details revealed is about weapons. The site reveals two weapons in Infinite Warfare zombies and talks about the features.

In Infinite Warfare Zombies, players can use weapons from the multiplayer mode, specific Zombies in Spaceland variation of weapons, and new Quest Weapons.

Quest Weapons are weapons that can be assembled by completing various quests in Infinite Warfare’s Zombies mode. The game also has the ability to “modify a weapon kit prior to a match to pick up customized weapons in-game.” In addition, weapon stats in Infinite Warfare will carry over between Multiplayer and Zombies.

Two weapons have also been revealed:

  • Dischord – The Dischord pistol is single shot and fires energy bullets. Kill a zombie with this and they spin around, arms out, gibbing and knocking other zombies into the stratosphere.
  • Facemelter – The Face Melter pistol is single shot and fires energy bullets.  Kill a zombie with this gun and they literally rocket upwards, exploding and raining fire down on the other zombies.

      This could be problematic. Weapons in Exo Zombies were somewhat like that as well, and eventually, apart from the CEL-3 and explosive weapons, none of the guns hold up against the zombies in later rounds. And we haven’t heard anything about the upgrade system either. Hopefully it’s none of the “upgrade 20 times with slight damage buff each time” schtick.


      Maybe they meant weapon progression carries over, and if you level up a gun and unlock attachments for a gun in MP you have it in Zombies? This would make sense. If you get experience with a gun, no reason the experience shouldn’t carry over to other modes like it would between team deathmatch and kill confirmed. Stats wouldn’t make sense because total kills will be ridiculously high for Zombies players compared to MP players. It also demeans the high kill count for MP only gamers.

    This is already way too complicated for me? Guns in zombies?? How are we supposed to know how to shoot them without a youtube guide or clear blueprints? I wish zombies went back to how it used to be. I wish they would just appreciate the casuals for once and play the game for us while I sat down and watched.

    Odd bug in the create-a-class menu. All weapons show there is something new unlocked for a camo, but then it shows the Nuketown camo as new. Even after clearing the notification, it remains.

    So like Black Ops 3 Zombies where we can add attachments and such, then when we get it in Zombies, it has those attachments? I hope so.


      Yea think that’s what it’s saying. I also think they are trying to say when your gun levels up and you unlock an attachment, it is for both MP and Zombies.. so you could play MP only, unlock fast mag on an assault rifle, then have the gun at the same level in Zombies with the option for a fast mag as well. This way you don’t have to level up guns in Zombies and MP separately like with BO3.
