You forgot about last night already? I thought i gave it a good go.

    • Why did you question yourself? Do we all really exist?

In a way, life really is just a dream.

While we sleep, there is sporadic neural activity, resulting in what we call “dreams”. Areas of the brain that are active in waking life, such as the occipital lobes, are active while we are dreaming. That neural activity is also mediated by the very same neurotransmitters at synapses as when you are awake. Are dreaming and waking life really that different?

Some may say there is a distinction because our waking life is “real” and dreams aren’t. But consider for a moment that what you see with your eyes right now is not necessarily what is there. 2D images hit the back of your retina upside down, and your brain simply interprets this and fills in the gaps to create a 3D image of the external world. It is taken for granted by us that that we see, feel, and hear is actually what is out in the world, but this is not always the case; we can see evidence of this from visual illusions.

In a way, your brain is constantly create an waking “dream” while you’re awake that is unique to you so that you may function in the world.

Whether your existence is real or not is a philosophical question, not one of science. Because of the subjectivity of our senses, no man will be able to prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that what he sees is real, as his evidence depends on his unreliable senses.

This is the best reply I have ever gotten.

Anyone excited for Red Dead 3?

  • RdJokr

Wow. This is just a shortened version of the campaign trailer, with a different angle of Salen Kotch at the end. C’mon IW, at least throw in some MP and Zombies footage for Christ’s sake.

      • It’s funny because your site is just going to be known as a leech site which rips content from everyone else’s site and just steals stories and tries to steal visitors from other peoples established sites.
Let’s be honest, your crap isn’t doing very good is it, it will never do any good, it looks like a piece of shit and vulnerable to attacks. Must be pretty shit knowing your site will never be liked in the community and you’ll never succeed in anything because of your spam, you’re a disgrace.

It’s the same EVERY OTHER COD Trailer has been. A campaign trailer. Criticize something that actually matter. It’s depressing to see people complain without any reasoning nor context.

How about you actually think about something to criticize and bring differing points of view? I’ll give you an example of how to do it.

The killspeed in IW is quite high. It seems that it could present severe problems in online CoD, but should be fine as long as the developer maintains their dedicated servers to modern par. With that said, there is still the problem of private matches being run on host rather than these servers and in these matches, the quality of play could be poor due to the high kill speed and the inability of a host lobby to catch up to it. Additionally, some would say that this speed is too high and allows for less need to aim while shooting. Others say the killspeed requires quicker reaction. Both present valid points, but due to connection issues being so common in previous CoDs, I lean towards increasing the killspeed to be slower than that of Black Ops 3.

      • RdJokr

Mate. Go look at BO3 launch trailer and tell me that it’s just campaign trailer. I double dare you.

        • Tommi Turunen

Yes, the launch trailer has a small part of multiplayer (I actually did forget that, thanks for being factual). But did that make the game better? No. Black Ops 3 had more connections and performance problems than any other Call of Duty during the year. With that said, yes, I would prefer a little more in the trailer, but it’s a useless complaint that helps too little.

I’m gonna take a guess and say that you hate IW for some reason. The game plays like Call of Duty and no CoD hasn’t. The movement is slower, but the maps are smaller leading to an Arena shooter feel. The thing is…Activision is giving the community both of the things they want. For those that enjoy the advanced movement, we get Infinite Warfare. For those that want “boots on the ground”, we get MWR.

Now, I want to take your side. Advanced movement does have a good argument against it. Connections in Call of Duty have been pretty bad in general especially in private matches (hosted garbage) and when you introduce more animations and faster movement (and kill speed), it can negatively impact it. I like the movement because I love more need for reaction times, more need to aim, more need to quickly switch between differently verticals of combat AND I still don’t like the negative impact that it brings to the game due to bad connections. I have a feeling that is the real reason you too do not like the movement.

What I get a little annoyed by is when people “hate” on a product without a reason. Saying simply that extra movement IS bad without a reason is just stupid. All I ask is for people to have reasoning behind their opinions.

Again, sorry for forgetting about the BO3 trailer.

          • RdJokr

You really went off the topic there. All I complained about was the damn trailer. I’m looking forward to this game way more than anyone else in here. I just don’t like the fact that they literally recycled the story trailer a months ago and called it “launch trailer”.

          • Tommi Turunen

Yeah I know. Honestly, I wanted to type a little on the game in general just so some people that hate on everything for no reason could see a good argument for movement and against it.

Now that I look at your side on the trailer issue, yeah they could have had a bit more.

Glad to hear that you are looking forward to the game. The charlieintel community can be a little…brazenly negative. I look forward to seeing you in game.

          • RdJokr

No probs, dude. It’s good to see constructive ideas being posted around. That’s what’s lacking around here.

  • Gamerazor247

Remember when launch trailers came out the day before the game released…? Yeeeaaaahhhh…

  • Mick

The MW2 launch trailer was by far the best trailer imo.

  • bre

    Seems cheesy

  • RobMelchor

Jon Snow and Connor McGregor FTW! At least the Campaign looks better than BO3.

  • OuyaMasterrace

It looks awesome, loving the beta. Can’t wait to play through campaign on Veteran (Hopefully there is not realistic lol). And try out Zombies as well, even though i have never cared about that game mode.

  • Launch

Launch trailer? It’s almost 3 weeks before we get the game. What the fuck?

  • The campaign looks great and definitely worth a shot but let’s be honest, no one gives a shit about the campaign after they’ve finished it once or twice. Doesn’t matter how amazing it is, or how deep, or how many extra features they add, finish it once or twice and you’ll never touch it again once you start the multi.

I haven’t had a chance to play it and won’t because I didn’t preorder, but I was starting to consider trying IW until I saw all the footage lately. It looks great, but I just can’t shake how ridiculously similar it is to BO3. Everything from the movement to the supply drop opening screen to the end of match screen, to the Specialists. It’s just disappointing how little effort they’ve made to make it fresh and original, even when the universal opinion of COD is “rehash the same shit every year and make a quick dollar”. Even after 3 years they couldn’t come up with anything much further than “let’s take the new stuff from Black Ops 3 and reskin it…. IN SPACE!”.

I’d still give it a go, I love COD but I’d rather try something different like Battlefield 1 or the backward compatible older games for a change of pace. As much as people piss and moan about Advanced Warfare and BO3 at least they actually tried to do something different. I really hoped Infinity Ward could pull it back but nope.

The world just doesnt want to admit it.

    CoD is Dead.

    Fighting in Space? Seriously IW?
I mean they could at least give Earth as a DLC

    • Earthling

Imagine we get a earth map, real size and all with all players who play the game on the map. Like The Division, only more awesome.

    • Sentinel

The world doesn’t like you though.

For those who “loved the beta”…please tell WHAT THINGS you guys liked on that Beta. Seriously…

PROS: Movement is paced down and air boost fills at a desirable speed. Classic Weapons (I received the Ripper from Ghosts so yeah, any older COD guns are considered classic!) & camos look nice! Weapons crafting adds a variety of choices. Rigs are cool, my personal favorite as of now is Phantom! Speed and momentum are smooth. Sprint to cancel reload. The multiplayer menu & colors looks nice and more militarized ready. Menu music sets a nice mood while you browser throughout the menu. There’s 4 elite patch members that you could be part of and unlock certain weapons variants with each. In-game taunts are pretty cool and funny at times. Dude on my team looked over and did the devil horns while saying “wassup” and had me laughing!

CONS: TTK-time to kill is somewhat annoying at times & supply drops. Ohh and the haters who still hating.
