Activision has announced that the PC version of Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 will be available exclusively on Blizzard’s Battle.net launcher. The title will not be available on Steam.

This will be the first Call of Duty title in history to be available on Blizzard’s Battle.net service. Activision’s first title to use Blizzard’s service was Destiny 2 in 2017. Activision Blizzard is a joint company, so using their own platform for PC will benefit the company in the long term.

Activision has also invested many resources to ensure that Black Ops 4 is great game on PC, with a whole dedicated PC team working on the title for this year.

PC players can pre-order Black Ops 4 on Battle.net now.
