And PC players, the Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Beta can now be pre-loaded on Blizzard Battle.net. From what we’re hearing, all players who have a valid Battle.net account – regardless of pre-order — can actually download the beta now.

The beta does not go live until August 10 at 10AM PT on Xbox One and PC.

For those who pre-ordered at a retailer, Activision has not yet started to send out beta tokens. If you pre-ordered at a retailer, make sure you got a beta code from your retailer to redeem on callofduty.com/beta. Activision has not started to send out codes yet, which you’ll have to redeem on your platform to get access, so stay tuned for updates.

Original Story:

UPDATE: Xbox has started to send out this message on Xbox Live to users who have digitally pre-ordered Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, but you cannot download the beta still.

The Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Private Beta has started to show up on the Xbox One Store for many users after a “COD BO4 Beta” ad showed up on the Dashboard.

The beta is not yet available for pre-load for those who pre-ordered the game, but the Xbox One Store says that the beta file is 32.5GB. The Xbox One store also says that the release date is August 9, 2018, which is most likely the pre-load start date for digital pre-orders. The PS4 beta was pre-loadable the day before the beta officially started as well.

We’ll update as learn more.
