Activision has announced that Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 is coming to the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on November 6th, developed by Beenox and Mercenary Technology.

The Xbox 360 and PS3 versions of Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 will feature the all three modes: campaign, multiplayer, and zombies. Activision has stated, however, that there will be feature differences between the PS4, Xbox One, and PC versions compared to the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions. They’ve revealed one of those differences, which is in the campaign mode; on Xbox 360 and PS3, players will only be able to play with a maximum of 2 players, rather than four players that will be available on current-gen platforms.

In addition, Activision has stated that there will be other feature differences that will be discussed leading up to the November 6th launch. Also, for those asking about the beta: the beta is only for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. There’s no plans for the beta on Xbox 360 and PS3.

Treyarch is working exclusively on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC versions of Call of Duty: Black Ops 3.

Activision has also confirmed that there will not be a version for the Wii U.

GameStop is now accepting preorders for Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 on Xbox 360 and PS3. Amazon now has opened up preorders as well here. For PlayStation 3 players, the title can now be preordered digitally on the PlayStation Store here.
