Activision confirms digital preorders of Ghosts will get Free Fall bonus map

Activision has confirmed in a FAQ on the official Call of Duty site that customers who choose to preorder and buy Ghosts digitally will get access to the Free Fall bonus map.

All games coming to next-generation consoles will have a digital download option, and now we’ve got confirmation that preorder bonuses will apply to digital downloads.

Q: If I pre-order Call of Duty: Ghosts digitally, do I still get the Free Fall map?

A.Yes, anyone who pre-orders Call of Duty: Ghosts for digital download will also receive the Free Fall downloadable bonus map.

UPDATE: @II_F0XH0UND_II raises a valid point regarding the Freefall map being available for next-gen digital downloads, however I’d find it odd if Freefall was only for current gen and not next-gen downloads..
