Activision has announced that one of their wholly owned studios, Vicarious Visions, will no longer be part of the Activision Publishing division.
The company has revealed that Vicarious Visions will be fully merged into Blizzard Entertainment division of the company effective immediately.
Vicarious Visions has worked on many titles and projects for Activision, including Skylanders, Destiny franchise, supported development of select Call of Duty games, and more. Most recently, the studio developed and released remasters of Tony Hawk Pro Skater 1+2. The studio was listed as a support developer of Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare.
In a statement to GamesIndustry, Blizzard says the studio becomes a “natural fit” after working on several Blizzard projects behind the scenes for the last several years.
“After collaborating with Vicarious Visions for some time and developing a great relationship, Blizzard realized there was an opportunity for [Vicarious Visions] to provide long-term support,” a representative explained to us.
It’s not truly clear how long Vicarious has been supporting Blizzard projects.
Vicarious Visions’ studio head Jen Oneal has been promoted to be Executive VP of Development at Blizzard Entertainment as part of the merger. She will report directly to Blizzard President J. Allen Barrack. All 200 Vicarious Vision employees will be part of Blizzard and work on Blizzard projects.
Her role is being replaced by Simon Ebejer, who was previously the Chief Operating Officer of the studio. It’s not clear what projects within Blizzard they are working on. Blizzard has multiple projects in the works, including Overwatch 2, Diablo 4, and more.
NICKMERCS shows off FARA 83 Warzone loadout to make it like an SMG
Nick “NICKMERCS” Kolcheff showed off his loadout which primes the FARA 83 for the SMG class in Warzone Season 2.
The FARA 83 is one of the latest additions in Warzone Season 2, and popular Faze Clan member Nick “NICKMERCS” Kolcheff showcased how versatile and power it can be in his new video.
With Warzone Season 2 well underway, we have a ton of new weapons to try out in the midst of battle. The developers introduced the FARA 83 to the battle royale as part of this update, and it’s incredibly powerful.
This weapon’s fast fire rate provides a neat alternative during close-quarters combat for SMG fans. Now, Call of Duty streamer NICKMERCS revealed his FARA 83 loadout which will transform it into a gun that would fit well in the SMG class.
NICKMERCS’ FARA 83 Warzone loadout
NICKMERCS‘ FARA 83 loadout focuses on priming the weapon for combat situations where you need to be quick to react. This will make it ideal for close-quarters combat.

This FARA 83 loadout uses the following attachments:
- Muzzle: Infantry Compensator
- Barrel: 13.7” Takedown
- Underbarrel: Field Agent Foregrip
- Ammunition: STANAG 60 Rnd
- Rear Grip: SASR Jungle Grip
He starts off the loadout with the Infantry Compensator and Field Agent Foregrip. Both of these attachments will help improve FARA’s vertical recoil, which makes it much easier to land headshots in close-quarter battles.
He then improved the weapon’s bullet velocity and strafe speed with the 13.7” Takedown barrel. This attachment will bring the best qualities of the SMG class to the FARA 83, so it’s absolutely worth getting.
The SASR Jungle Grip will improve the ADS speed, so that you can go toe-to-toe with the MAC-10 and MP5 classes. Since you’ll mostly fire from the hip in close-quarters combat, there is no need to equip an optic.
He then capped off the loadout with the STANAG 60 Rnd magazine, which increases both your max starting ammo and your overall ammo capacity. This complements the gun’s stunning rate of fire.
NICKMERCS’ loadout proves that this Season 2 AR can be used to absolutely dominate your foes with the right attachments, so be sure to try it out for yourself!

Best Diamatti loadout for Warzone Season 2
With Warzone Season 2 well underway, here are the best attachments and perks that you can equip to the Diamatti handgun.
The Diamatti is a reliable handgun that is ideal for close combat, and you can equip a few select attachments to further improve it during Warzone Season 2.
A plethora of new changes were introduced in Warzone after the Season 2 update went live, including new guns like the FARA 83 Assault Rifle and LC10 SMG. The developers also implemented balance updates that have shaken up the game’s meta.
If you’re looking for a handgun to keep as your trusty side-arm during close encounters, then you can’t do much better than the Diamatti. Here is the best loadout that you can use for this handgun in Warzone Season 2.
Best Warzone Season 2 Diamatti loadout
The Diamatti was once considered overpowered, so the developers ended up nerfing it during the Cold War integration. As a result, the gun isn’t the powerhouse it used to be, but it’s still a popular pick among players due to its impressive rate of fire and accuracy.
Our loadout will focus on improving the weapon’s recoil while giving a boost to its effective damage range. You can equip the following attachments:
- Muzzle: Brake 9
- Barrel: 6.5″ Takedown
- Laser: SWAT 5mw Laser Sight
- Ammunition: Salvo 30 Rnd Fast Mag
- Stock: Dual Wield
We’ll start with the Muzzle Brake 9, which will help stabilize the weapon’s recoil for better control of sustained fire. We won’t equip the Agency Suppressor due to the nerf that Activision gave it in Season 2.
Next, we’ll use the 6.5″ Takedown barrel to significantly improve the Diamatti’s damage range. This will make the weapon ideal for both close-quarters and medium-range encounters so that you don’t get overwhelmed by foes that are around the corner.
While the handgun has precise accuracy, you’ll mostly be firing from the hip during close-range combat, so we recommend equipping the SWAT 5mw Laser Sight to increase hip-fire accuracy. You can then dual-wield it to dish out some pain.
Finally, we’ll cap off this loadout with the Salvo 30 Rnd Fast Mag. This will complement the gun’s impressive fire-rate by functioning as both an extended magazine and fast mags attachment.

The Diamatti also comes with a silencer attached to it, so you can use it to stealthily take down your foes. For this reason, we recommend keeping the Heartbeat sensor on you, so that you can monitor your enemies’ whereabouts.
Equipping the Amped perk will let you swap between your primary and secondary weapons quicker. This will make the Diamatti a reliable handgun that you can combine with a powerful primary like the MAC-10.
If you’re looking to overhaul your Call of Duty: Warzone loadouts, you can check out our guides on some of the weapons dominating the meta right now.
