Activision to donate 100% of Modern Warfare’s ‘Outback Relief Pack’ profits to relief efforts in Australia

Activision and Infinity Ward have announced that they will be supporting the relief effort in Australia by donating 100% of Activision’s proceeds of the in-game Outback Relief Pack to Australia.

Australia has been devastated recently by brushfires consuming a lot of the land in the country.

The Outback Relief Pack is available in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare’s store and features Australia themed content in game.

This offer runs until January 31 and is available on all platforms. If you already purchased the pack before they re-named it, the profits will still be donated towards relief efforts in Australia.

The news was announced in an image by Infinity Ward on January 11.

Here’s the details:

As part of our efforts to help provide relief toward the devastating bushfires in Australia, we’re donating 100% of Activision’s net proceeds from each purchase of the “Outback” Pack, which we’ve renamed to the Outback Relief Pack, across all platforms through January 31st. If you’ve already purchased the Outback Pack, thank you, your purchase will count toward donation.

The Outback Relief Pack is available in the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare in-game store and can be purchased with Call of Duty Points.

Our thoughts are with everyone effected by this in Australia.
