Activision has stated in a blog post that the company will be hosting a “major community event” for Call of Duty later this year alongside the Call of Duty Championship event.

The Call of Duty Championship, Presented by PlayStation will be taking place this fall, following the end of Stage 2 of the World League’s Pro Division.

While no details on what this event will be about has been announced, Activision does say the event will “give fans special insight and access to the world of Call of Duty.” It’s not clear what that could be, but it sure sounds similar to the 2011 Call of Duty XP event.

In 2011, Activision hosted the Call of Duty XP event as a way to celebrate the Call of Duty community. The event featured the multiplayer reveal of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 (developed by Infinity Ward and Sledgehammer Games). The event also featured a $1 million MW3 tournament, the first $1 million Call of Duty tournament ever.
