Call of Duty has surpassed over $15 billion in sales since 2003 launch

Activision has announced their Q4 results for their year and has stated that the Call of Duty franchise has now surpassed over $15 billion in sales since initial 2003 launch.

In addition, Activision says that Black Ops 3 has the highest season pass attach rate for DLC in franchise history.

Black Ops III also has the highest season pass attach rate for downloadable content in franchise history. The Call of Duty franchise has now surpassed 250 million units sold life-to-date worldwide with over $15 billion in total sales, including in-game content, since it first launched in 2003.2

Last year, Activision stated the franchise had passed $10 billion.
