All 40 NPC locations in Fortnite Season 5

There are 40 NPCs to discover in Season 5 of Fortnite, so here’s every character and where you can find them.

Fortnite Season 5 is full of characters you can find and interact with, so a Twitter user has put together a list of all 40 NPCs and their locations.

Fortnite has set players the task of meeting all 40 NPCs on Chapter 2’s Season 5 map. You can interact with all of the characters you discover. By speaking to them, they offer challenges, bounties, or even sell you a weapon.

Or, you can choose to attack them and take their gear. The Mandalorian is probably the only NPC worth attacking, as he drops his Mythic rifle and jetpack.

To complete the collection of characters, you need to find all 40. This can be tricky, as Fortnite gives you no indication where they might be. Twitter user meetlootlama has completed the difficult task of discovering almost every character and their location.

Most NPCs can be found near POIs, such as Craggy Cliffs and Dirty Docks. Land in these POIs and have a look around, and you should be able to see their chat icon through walls.

Others are found in smaller landmarks around the map; Crashed Cargo to the East of Sweaty Sands, for example.

Not every single NPC location is listed on this map, but there are enough to complete your collection.

Some characters are known to move around the map. Blaze, Doggo, Burnout, and Kyle have at least two possible spawns. If Blaze isn’t on the island to the North-East of Stealthy Stronghold, they can be found at the Timber Tent South of Sweaty Sands.

Bigfoot, like he is in real folklore, is extremely difficult to find. Players have reported seeing him in Weeping Woods but expect him to be elusive.

Be strategic while working your way through the map made by meetlootlama, and you’ll be able to complete the collection of characters in only a handful of games.

Swamp Stalker in Fortnite

Fortnite Season 7 has brand-new Quests for you to complete in Week 8, and here’s how you can complete the one that has you mindwipe Bunker Jonesy, Swamp Stalker, or Human Bill.

Each new week of Fortnite brings a ton of Legendary and Epic Quests that you can complete to earn some neat XP and Battle Stars as you progress through the Season 7 Battle Pass.

With the arrival of the 17.21 update, we’re now in Week 8, and one of the new Legendary Quests requires you to mindwipe Bunker Jonesy, Swamp Stalker, or Human Bill.

Here’s how you can find them.

The good news is that this challenge only requires you to go after one of them, and it doesn’t matter which one you choose. NPCs can be found in specific locations across Fortnite Island.

Human Bill hangs out at Steamy Stacks, in the northeast part of the map. Bunker Jonesy can be found just south of Misty Meadows which is at the south end of the Island. As the name implies, Swamp Stalker will be at Slurpy Swamp.

You can visit whichever one of these characters you want in order to complete this Legendary Quest. To make things a bit easier, we’ve marked each of their spawn locations on the map below:

If you want to complete this challenge quickly, then we recommend going to Swamp Stalker, since this NPC is much easier a target than the other two. Interacting with her should wipe her memories clean.

Once that’s done, you’ll earn a total of 30,000 XP for your efforts. Just be careful of other players who will also be in these areas to complete the challenge. Keep some good gear on you, and be ready for a fight.

There are clusters of wiretaps in five key locations on the Fortnite Season 7 map. Inside each of these POIs are three wiretaps, so with a bit of luck, you should only have to visit one of the locations.

The wiretaps will be marked by a transparent blue box. Simply approach it and press the interact button and the wiretap will be placed. Do this twice more, and you’ll get 30,000 XP.

You can find wiretaps in these locations:

  1. Dinky Dish
  2. Dockside Dish
  3. Defiant Dish
  4. Eastern house in Lazy Lake
  5. Tunnel east of Catty Corner

A countdown timer has appeared in the world of Fortnite, and it looks to be counting down the moments until the Season 7 live event.

Fortnite Live Event Countdown Timer

Excitement is at an all-time high in the world of Fortnite regarding Season 7, as a countdown timer has appeared in the popular game and is counting down the moments until the next live event kicks off.

There are many things that have made Fortnite one of the most popular games in the world over the past couple of years, with one of the most important being the exciting live events that Epic Games has pulled off over the course of the game’s many seasons.

These live events have been everything from concerts to giant battles where millions of players have been able to experience the adrenaline-fueled action all at the same time.

While the end of Season 6 and the start of Season 7 did not see a live event occur, this does not look to be the case for the end of Season 7 and the start of Season 8, as a Fortnite live event countdown timer has officially appeared in the popular game.

This new Fortnite live event countdown timer appeared on July 27, 2021, with the release of the 17.21 update for the fan-favorite game brought exciting items like the new Plasma Cannon.

Players soon noticed this Fortnite live event countdown timer in the game’s sky when they were playing and in the lobby in between matches.

Based on the amount of time this timer began with when it first appeared, it looks as though the highly anticipated live event will occur on August 6, 2021, at 3 PM PST/ 5 PM CST/ 6 PM EST.

It is unknown exactly what will happen when this Fortnite live event countdown timer hits zero on August 6.

However, with this season’s theme being all about an alien invasion, the alien mothership that has been hanging around might likely be ready to make some noise and shake up the Fortnite world in a major way.

An Ariana Grande concert event has also been leaked to be taking place sometime this season, so there is a possibility that this time is counting down until this leaked event. Still, players will have to wait until it hits zero before we officially know or an announcement is made by Epic Games.
